Cosmos raises an important question about blockchain ecosystems: how much value does a network capture when its technology supports independent chains? The ecosystem's modular, interconnected approach can encourage experimentation, but the economic relationship between ecosystem growth and ATOM demand deserves careful attention. More chains and applications do not necessarily mean greater value accrues to the central token.
