About MetaIssues15BInBonds
Meta issued $15B in dollar bonds on Nov 3, attracting ~$58B in orders, 3.9 times the offering. Its 30-year spread was 220 bps over US Treasuries, ~90 bps wider than April’s issue. Can AI investment generate enough cash flow to cover debt costs and support future returns?

Meta drawing roughly $58B of orders for a $15B bond sale shows investors still accept its AI spending case. Yet the 30-year spread, about 90 bps wider than in April, says that confidence now carries a higher price.
