CFX at $0.061, do you still dare to chase?
From 0.047 to 0.07, a 14% surge in one week, everyone is shouting "China's compliant public chain takes off"—but the policy documents don't mention CFX at all. Guess who's quietly selling?
First, look at the surface: when the policy sounds, gold is worth a thousand taels.
The State Council document mentioned the "National Blockchain Network" and the "National Integrated Computing Power Network," and the market instantly surged. Conflux was praised as "China's only compliant public chain," with the price jumping from 0.047 directly to 0.07, a 5-month high. Then what? It dropped 7-10% in 24 hours and is now stuck at 0.061.
The candlestick chart tells you: breaking through a months-long downtrend channel, volume increased with a rally, then a high-level pullback. Moving averages are bullish, RSI fell from above 60, volume expanded then contracted—a typical "news-driven + profit-taking" scenario.
But you're probably cursing inside: where's the promised national endorsement? Why did it soften?
First thing: the policy documents don't mention "Conflux" at all.
The documents talk about "building a national blockchain network," without naming any public chain, nor stating CFX as the official token.
But the market doesn't care.
Labels like "Tsinghua team," "compliance narrative," "China's only"—once tagged, funds rush in.
In plain language:
You're not buying the policy, you're buying others' imagination of the policy.
Buy expectations, sell facts. The A-share market has played this game for 30 years; the crypto world learned it in a day.
Second thing: Conflux's fundamentals aren't bad, but don't treat it as a "national project."
Tree-Graph ledger, GHAST consensus, EVM compatibility, dual-space design—the technology is indeed solid.
But the reality is: limited on-chain activity, TVL not high, PoW+PoS still inflating.
More painfully:
The China compliance narrative is a double-edged sword. A nod from policy can push it up 50%; a frown can bring it back to zero.
You're betting not on technology, but on policy mood.
Third thing: the technical side has reached a critical watershed.
Good signals:
Breaking through a months-long downtrend channel, structure turning bullish
Price still above the mid-term moving average
Pullback with shrinking volume, 0.060-0.061 is recent low and potential support zone
Bad signals:
0.068-0.072 is recent high and psychological barrier, failed twice
24-hour drop of 7-10%, profit-taking underway
Open interest falling, some positions closing
Key level 0.061, just $0.001 above the lifeline at 0.060.
Hold 0.060 and volume surge back above 0.065 → target 0.068-0.072
Break below 0.060 → retest 0.055-0.057, even 0.047-0.050
Bull vs. bear, you decide.
On one side:
China policy narrative, favored by Asian capital
Technical breakout of downtrend, moving averages bullish
14% rise in a week, 33% in a month, momentum still there
Strong support at 0.060-0.061
On the other side:
Policy doesn't name it, pure wishful thinking
High-level pullback, profit-taking escape
Ongoing inflation, limited on-chain activity
Failed twice at 0.07, huge resistance
When BTC sneezes, CFX catches a cold
Trading strategy
Short-term:
Stabilize near 0.060-0.061, volume surge back above 0.065, light long positions.
Stop loss below 0.058, target 0.068-0.072.
If it breaks 0.060 and loses 0.057 support, stand aside, don't catch a falling knife.
Mid-term:
If policy narrative continues + technical structure holds, it may expand to higher ranges.
But currently it's a position after a news-driven rapid rally, prioritize position control, enter and exit in batches.
Don't chase above 0.07, don't cut losses at 0.06—that's discipline.
Risk iron rules:
Single trade no more than 5% of total capital
Keep an eye on BTC and volume
If news reverses (policy clarification, cooperation disproved), exit immediately
This is event-driven, not value investing
CFX now is like FIL in 2021—
When policy is announced, everyone gets excited, then it drifts down for two years.
China's blockchain narrative happens every four years, and the same group pays every time.
When the policy document doesn't write your name, don't rush to add drama for yourself.
Holding 0.060 is a pullback; failing it is a last flash.
