As long as earnings and AI spending remain strong, buyers have a reason to stay engaged. However, if inflation remains above 3% and Treasury yields start pushing higher again, the market may have to reassess how much growth it has already priced in.
For now, I'm paying closer attention to inflation, bond yields, earnings quality and market breadth rather than chasing every rally.
The growth story is still alive, but the macro environment is giving investors less room for mistakes.
There's another detail I find important: market strength is becoming increasingly concentrated. A handful of large companies are doing much of the heavy lifting while broader market participation remains weak.
That makes the current rally more vulnerable to disappointment than the headline index performance might suggest.
My take: I wouldn't dismiss the strength in equities, but I also wouldn't mistake strong index performance for a healthy market across the board.
