🚨 BTC DIDN’T JUST DROP — GEOPOLITICAL RISK JUST ENTERED THE MARKET.
As the night session opened, tensions around the Strait of Hormuz sent $BTC and $ETH sharply lower, while oil held firmly above $82.
And the chain reaction is simple:
🌍 Geopolitical tension → 🛢️ higher oil → 📈 inflation expectations → 📉 fewer rate-cut hopes → pressure on risk assets.
The bigger problem? The Hormuz negotiations still appear stuck, with key implementation details unresolved.
That makes tonight’s CPI even more important.
📉 Cool CPI → could ease the pressure.
📈 Hot CPI → oil + inflation fears could create a nasty double squeeze.
For now, there’s no need to guess the next move.
