📉 The "safe haven" just fell harder than the Nasdaq.
Gold lost about 3.5% Friday to under $3,900, a one-year low. A tech-led Wall Street selloff forced funds to sell what they could, and a Fed leaning toward a December hike kept buyers away, even as yields fell.
Where it goes next:
Reclaim $3,910 → bounce toward $3,963, the old range floor.
Lose $3,875 → $3,800, then $3,780.
Oversold bounce, or a new leg lower?
Safe havens stay safe only until someone needs the cash.
