Sony’s Q2 results show stronger earnings from games and films, while rising hardware costs add a challenge to the outlook. For Q2 FY2026, ended Sep 30: • Revenue: ¥3.43T, up 10.3% YoY • Operating profit: ¥622.3B, up 45.1% • Operating margin: 18.1%, versus 13.8% a year earlier • Net income attributable to shareholders: ¥449.6B Operating profit exceeded market expectations and grew faster than revenue. The 4.3 percentage-point margin improvement shows that the quarter delivered more than higher sales alone. Gaming and films were key contributors. Spider-Man: Brand New Day supported the stronger movie performance, highlighting the role of Sony’s entertainment portfolio alongside PlayStation. The hardware picture was more mixed. Sony sold 2.6M PS5 units during the quarter, compared with 4M a year earlier. Stronger gaming earnings alongside lower console sales underline why hardware volumes alone are not a complete measure of the business. Sony raised its full-year forecasts to: • Operating profit: ¥1.87T • Net income attributable to shareholders: ¥1.33T The higher outlook remains management guidance, not profit already earned. Future quarters will show whether the recent earnings momentum can be sustained. Costs deserve attention too. Reuters reported that higher memory-chip prices, linked to demand for AI infrastructure, remain a pressure point for Sony’s gaming hardware. The company previously said it had secured the memory needed for its projected sales volume this year. Securing supply, however, does not necessarily eliminate pricing pressure. The next assessment involves both sides of the story: whether entertainment momentum continues, and how effectively Sony manages hardware costs. Business mix, release schedules and component prices will help determine how sales translate into profit. Can Sony sustain its earnings momentum while keeping cost pressures in check? #SonyQ2ProfitUp45%

Circle’s Q3 highlights a key distinction: growing stablecoin activity does not automatically mean higher reserve income. Results released Nov 4 included: • Total revenue and reserve income: $865M, up 17% YoY • Net income from continuing operations: $226M, up 5% • Adjusted EBITDA: $317M, up 85% • USDC onchain transaction volume: $13.9T, up 49% • Average USDC in circulation: $73.3B, up 8% Reserve income fell 8% to $658M, mainly due to a 61 bps decline in the reserve return rate, partly offset by higher average USDC circulation. Transaction volume measures activity, while balances and reserve yields help determine reserve income. More transfers do not automatically mean higher issuer earnings. Other revenue reached $207M, including $182M from the ARC token presale. Circle attributed adjusted EBITDA growth to presale revenue and lower distribution costs, partly offset by increased investment in new products. The presale contribution should be assessed separately from reserve income when evaluating earnings sustainability. This quarter’s revenue mix may not be repeated in future quarters. Arc public mainnet launched Sept 16 with native USDC integration and 100+ institutional and ecosystem participants. Launch participation is a starting point; sustained activity will offer further evidence of adoption. Payments expansion adds another perspective: • Circle Payments Network: $41.3B in annualized payment volume • Tazapay: over $25B in annualized payment volume, with local payout coverage across 100+ markets These are payment-volume metrics, not revenue, and should not be added together as an already combined business. Circle’s proposed Tazapay acquisition is expected to close in 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. The next test is whether payment adoption can support durable earnings as reserve yields and costs evolve. Which matters most for Circle’s outlook: USDC circulation, reserve yields or payment adoption? #CircleQ3USDCVolumeUp49%

Democrats are projected to control both chambers of Congress, setting up a new balance of power in Washington. NBC News projects Democratic majorities in the House and Senate following the Nov 3 midterms. All 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats were on the ballot. These projections are distinct from final certified results and complete seat totals. The new congressional term begins Jan 3, 2027. Election results do not immediately replace the current Congress or change existing laws. For digital assets, key policy developments to watch include: • Regulatory appointments: how the Senate handles future nominations for key financial regulators • Committee agendas: which digital asset bills and oversight issues receive priority • Legislative progress: the substance of proposals, cross-party support and the timetable for action • Fiscal negotiations: how tax and spending priorities develop under divided government The Senate’s confirmation role makes personnel another policy channel to watch. But an election result does not automatically replace existing regulators or establish how future nominees will be treated. Committee leadership matters too. Committees review legislation and oversee agencies within their jurisdictions. Hearings and agendas can help reveal priorities, but are not the same as enacted rules. A congressional majority also does not guarantee passage of every proposal. Ending debate on most Senate legislation generally requires 60 votes, making support beyond a simple majority important. The result does not settle December’s interest-rate decision. The Fed’s monetary policy mandate remains maximum employment and price stability. Our reading: the new political balance is not an automatic bullish or bearish signal for BTC. Assess proposals, enacted policies and implementation alongside the broader economic backdrop. Which policy developments will matter most for digital assets under the next Congress? #DemocratsWinCongress

AMD’s data center revenue nearly doubled in Q3, while results elsewhere showed a more uneven picture. Q3 2026 results included: • Revenue: $13.377B, up 45% YoY and 16% QoQ • Non-GAAP diluted EPS: $2.09, up 74% YoY • GAAP net income: $2.428B, up 95% YoY • GAAP operating margin: 21%, versus 17% in Q2 and 14% a year earlier Revenue exceeded the $13.09B LSEG estimate, while non-GAAP EPS beat the $1.95 forecast. GAAP operating income rose 123%, showing that operating profit grew faster than sales. Data center revenue reached a quarterly record of about $8.5B, up 97% YoY. AMD attributed the increase to strong EPYC processor demand and the launch of Instinct MI450 Series GPUs. The growth story spans server CPUs as well as AI accelerators. Data center represented roughly 64% of total revenue, making cloud and AI infrastructure demand increasingly important to the overall business. Outside data centers, Client and Gaming revenue fell 8% YoY to $3.7B. Client revenue nevertheless grew 7% to $2.9B, supported by Ryzen mobile processor sales. Strong AI demand does not mean every part of the portfolio is expanding at the same pace. For Q4, AMD forecasts: • Revenue: about $17B, plus or minus 3% • Growth at the midpoint: roughly 66% YoY and 27% QoQ • Non-GAAP gross margin: about 55%, versus 56% in Q3 The revenue midpoint exceeded the $16.2B LSEG consensus. Management expects further growth as it scales Helios systems and Venice processors. These are forward-looking expectations, not results already delivered. The margin outlook adds an important contrast: faster revenue growth does not automatically produce a higher gross margin. Sales mix, component costs and production execution will shape how additional demand translates into earnings. The next test is sustaining data center momentum while managing capacity and the different trends across the wider business. Can AMD maintain its growth pace while keeping profitability on track? #AMDQ3DataCenterUp97%
