Its fixed issuance schedule limits supply changes, while proof-of-work provides a transparent way to secure the network without relying on a central operator. That combination creates monetary predictability, censorship resistance, and global settlement. Most projects usually achieve only one or two of these properties, which makes Bitcoin’s infrastructure worth watching.
