When the 30-year Treasury reaches its highest yield in nearly two decades and risk assets rally anyway, the market isn't ignoring risk—it's repricing fiscal reality.
Amazon tells the same story. Weak guidance, yet the stock jumps 9%. Right now, positioning and sentiment are carrying more weight than fundamentals.
For crypto, that's an interesting signal.
Historically, BTC holding above $63K while long-end Treasury yields surge would have looked like a clear sell signal. This time, the relationship appears to be weakening.
If the bond market is increasingly pricing structural deficits rather than just the path of interest rates, scarce assets like Bitcoin may not be the obvious casualties.
The thesis is still developing, but so far, price action isn't arguing against it.
