Don't be misled by "institutions buying heavily" or "institutions completely withdrawing" narratives
Recently, market news has been very divided: on one hand, it says ETFs have large outflows, while on the other, some funds report significant inflows. The reality is often somewhere in between. For example, BlackRock's IBIT once saw a large inflow in a single day, but on the same day, other funds might have outflows, so the net effect is not as dramatic as the headline suggests. Additionally, alternative ETFs like XRP and Zcash still have inflow scales much smaller than Bitcoin, so it cannot be simply interpreted as "institutional funds fully shifting from BTC to altcoins." To understand institutional trends, one should look at cumulative fund flows, position sizes, and whether prices move in sync, rather than focusing on the numbers of a single fund on a single day. #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? $BTC Bitcoin really took a pretty hard hit this time!
$BTC briefly dropped to around $79,200 over the weekend, then bounced back above $80,000.
Even more dramatic, about $547 million in leveraged positions were liquidated in the crypto market over the past 24 hours, affecting over 110,000 traders.
But on-chain data shows a noteworthy change.
CryptoQuant data indicates that the one-year change in whale holdings has improved from a decrease of about 282,000 BTC to a decrease of about 39,000 BTC.
Although we can't say whales have fully switched to accumulation yet, the pace of selling by large holders is definitely slowing down.
I'm actually less pessimistic now.
If support can be reestablished around $80,000, and leveraged positions that were continuously liquidated earlier decrease, BTC might have a chance to rebound back near $84,000.

$ETH $ZEC ⚠️ The most dangerous signal for BTC might not be a drop, but the market being too calm!
Recently, BTC has repeatedly tested the $80,000 mark, and many have gotten used to this kind of fluctuation.
However, Coinbase's latest institutional weekly report revealed a set of data worth watching:
📊 BTC's one-month implied volatility on options is about 35%, within the lowest 7% range since 2019; the 30-day realized volatility is only 24%.
This indicates that the market has been relatively stable recently, and options are pricing future volatility low.
The issue is, this week is not lacking events that could break the calm.
On October 28, the Federal Reserve will announce its interest rate decision, and on the 30th, there will be a large-scale BTC options expiration at month-end.
💰 I don't think low volatility necessarily means a big surge or crash, but if the market suddenly reprices risk, high-leverage positions will be very vulnerable.
What we need to guard against most right now might not be misreading the direction, but underestimating the possibility of a sudden acceleration in the market.
Do you think this time it will break upwards or release risk downwards?

#BTC #Bitcoin #FOMC #OptionsMarket #CryptocurrencyCMCC Global, managing about $500 million in assets, plans to launch two tokenized Bitcoin funds at once: Crest Fund and Liberty Bitcoin Accumulation Fund.
The latter has a very straightforward target: an annualized net return of 8% to 12%, settled in Bitcoin. This sentence needs to be broken down: if you originally intended to hold BTC long-term, the fund simply uses your coins to execute strategies, and the extra Bitcoin earned accumulates on your original holdings, meaning the coins in the same position gradually increase rather than being converted into stablecoins to pay interest.
Details of the first Crest Fund have not yet been disclosed. Judging by the name and pairing, it seems more like a compliant entry product aimed at institutions, with possibly stricter thresholds and redemption terms than the second fund.
For ordinary people, the focus is not on the 8% figure. What really changes is the form: in the past, these strategies were basically exclusive to institutions; now, packaged into tokenized shells, on-chain shares can be subdivided, transferred, or used as collateral for loans.
The higher the promised return, the more you need to clarify counterparty risk. The 8% to 12% is a target, not a guaranteed minimum. It is far more important to understand under what market conditions the strategy will lose, where the liquidation line is drawn, and how many days redemption takes to settle than the annualized figure. The market's main concern is not "whether it will rise," but "where the money comes from."
For BTC to continue rising now, three types of capital need to cooperate: first, a net inflow of spot ETFs again; second, the leveraged market no longer frequently liquidating positions; third, macro liquidity no longer tightening. In the past two weeks, ETFs saw a return flow, with about $1.07 billion cumulatively flowing in over three trading days in late October, but then there was a significant outflow, indicating institutions are not uniformly increasing positions. Under such circumstances, prices are more likely to fluctuate. If ETFs can have continuous net inflows for several days and the price stabilizes between $81,000 and $82,000, market confidence will be restored; if capital flow continues to be negative, even a short-term price rebound may just be short covering. #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? $BTC The recent review numbers are a bit "misaligned": $BTC spot ETF had a single-day net outflow of $138 million, with 7,562 BTC withdrawn the previous day; $ETH spot ETF had a net inflow of $4.4 million on the same day, but a $111 million outflow the day before, a complete reversal in one day. 💰 This doesn't look like funds fleeing, but more like position switching.
The three major coins are each moving independently: BTC is sideways around 80,755, with holdings up 1.08% to 54 billion; ETH is grinding near 2,356, down 0.79%, holdings down 1.26% to 30.3 billion; SOL is hovering around 102, down 0.15%, holdings at 6.2 billion, down 0.23%. 📊
On the liquidation chart, there are bright bands above BTC at 81,000–82,000 and below at 79,000, with the price stuck in the middle; breaking either side could trigger a chain of liquidations. Options holdings surged more than 5 times in one day to 45.3 billion, indicating someone is betting on volatility, not direction. ⚡
My stance:
1️⃣ ETF divergence is not over; BTC outflows don't mean a full market retreat;
2️⃣ Price stuck in liquidation bands, chasing highs or selling lows risks hitting resistance;
3️⃣ Options volume surge is a volatility signal first; no rush to pick a side, wait for a breakout to follow. 👀#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? #中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 Undervalued tokens need more than a low price to become good trades. $STRK is still dealing with supply overhang. The proposed minting mechanism adds another layer of uncertainty, so I’d rather see the post unlock selling pressure settle before looking for a serious recovery.Macro Morning Brief: Oil Prices, U.S. Treasuries, Gold, and Bitcoin Are All Pulled by the Same Thread
The main theme this week is not the rise or fall of a single asset, but the rebound in inflation expectations combined with persistent high U.S. dollar interest rates.
Last week, WTI was around $103.3, rising 4%-6% for the week, with Middle East geopolitical premiums still in place. The rise in oil prices has heightened inflation concerns, pushing the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield back near 4.99%. The three major U.S. stock indices all fell, with AI and high-valuation tech stocks continuing to face pressure.
Spot gold fell below $4000/oz, dropping over 4% for the week—the largest weekly decline in more than four months. Short-term logic is affected by a strong dollar, high real interest rates, and oil price disturbances. The key to recovery still depends on whether U.S. Treasury yields can retreat.
After Bitcoin fell below $80,000, ETF funds showed clear outflows. From October 22 to 23, spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net outflow of about $773.5 million, but on-chain whale selling pressure decreased and exchange supply shrank, suggesting a weakening of ETF buying rather than a full institutional withdrawal.
The biggest variable this week remains the Federal Reserve. The market widely expects the October 27-28 meeting to hold rates steady, but expectations for a December rate hike and inflation remain volatile.
Trading focus:
- Watch U.S. Treasury yields for gold;
- $80,000 near Bitcoin is the boundary between bulls and bears; monitor ETF fund flows and on-chain absorption;
- If crude oil continues to be supported by geopolitical factors, it will suppress U.S. stocks and growth stock valuations;
In short: first watch the Fed’s wording, then ETF fund flows, and finally whether oil prices amplify volatility. $BTC $XAU Spot ETF outflows are not a trivial matter, but we can't just focus on single-day figures.
A few days ago, Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced consecutive net outflows, with the largest single-day outflow reaching $635 million, which dealt a significant blow to market confidence. However, it's important to note that ETF shares are traded on the secondary market, which is not the same as the underlying Bitcoin in the trust being sold immediately. Physical redemption, cash redemption, and authorized participant rebalancing all make the fund flow data appear more complex.
Therefore, when looking at ETFs, you shouldn't just look at net inflows or outflows for one day; you need to observe the direction over several consecutive days, changes in major funds, and whether it synchronizes with spot prices and trading volume. It now looks more like institutional funds are repricing rather than simply "withdrawing entirely." #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? $BTC #中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 For the crypto market, the deepest impact is not the falsification of the "safe-haven narrative," but rather the directional rift between the macro suppression chain of oil prices—inflation—interest rates and the geopolitical function of crypto assets themselves.
After Brent crude broke through $110, inflation expectations rose again, and the Federal Reserve's rate cut window was significantly narrowed. Under this framework, BTC behaved more like a high-beta tech stock than digital gold—once falling below $80,000 during the US-Iran standoff, with over $500 million liquidated across the network in 24 hours. The leverage structure amplified this fragility: geopolitical news triggered volatility spikes, causing a cascade of liquidations on high-leverage long positions, resulting in the counterintuitive pattern of "conflict escalation → coin price decline."
Uncertainty over navigation through the Strait of Hormuz has disrupted traditional bank settlements and cross-border capital flows, reactivating crypto assets' role as "funding channels." Stablecoins' advantages in cross-border transfers and bypassing payment frictions are amplified in conflict environments; there are even reports that Iran is considering using cryptocurrency as one of the payment options for strait passage fees. This is not a safe-haven buy but a substitute inflow driven by rigid real-world demand when traditional channels fail.
Altcoins are bearing the brunt of the most intense deleveraging pressure, with funds concentrating on BTC, ETH, and RWA segments that have compliance narratives or real yield support. The crypto market is no longer priced as a homogeneous sector but is repeatedly torn between "macro risk assets" and "geopolitical function assets"—this very rift is the core pricing feature at present.$SNDK SanDisk's dark pool slightly rose last night, reaching a high of 1265.9, currently at 1259.1. It seems to be in an upward trend, but the dark pool trading volume is too low to be of much reference value.
Before SanDisk's market opens, the only reference besides breaking news is the trend of Hynix. Last week, when the US semiconductor stocks collectively plunged, Hynix stopped falling and had an extreme rescue rally, showing strong bullish power. Hynix should perform well today too. Anyway, as long as the situation stabilizes before the US market opens, it's fine. The most interesting aspect of this data set is not the "high proportion of large holders bullish." What really stands out is that large holders are long in contracts, retail investors are pulling back, and yet the ETF side is still withdrawing funds. Presenting these three directions simultaneously indicates that there is no single consensus right now; rather, there is a misalignment in capital structure—some are betting on a rebound, some are hedging against a decline, and institutions are cooling off.
The $BTC long-short ratio just passed 1, showing slightly stronger retail sentiment, but the large holders' long position ratio has risen to 1.6352, indicating that big money indeed prefers to express their direction through contracts. $ETH and $CORE show even more divergence: $ETH retail is slightly bearish, with large holders' long ratio at 1.6954; $CORE retail is bearish, and large holders' long ratio has surged to 2.48. The divergence is increasingly pronounced, but don't rush to take "large holders bullish" as gospel. Especially for $CORE, where the chips are concentrated in top addresses, and addresses beyond the top 100 only account for 2.67%. In this structure, the large holders' long-short ratio can be distorted by a few addresses, so its reference value should be discounted.
The news also supports this "misalignment." Recently, $BTC tested the 80,000 level with a wick—dropping as low as 79,220, with over 210,000 people liquidated within 24 hours, nearly 80% of which were long liquidations, and 94% of single-hour liquidations came from longs. This was not a one-sided drop but a concentrated "bloodbath" of long leverage. The 80,000 to 82,000 range is currently not just ordinary support but a dual bottom of long-short psychology and liquidation density. The ETF side is also interesting: on October 22, there was a net outflow of $635.6 million, the largest single-day outflow since June, but the previous three trading days had a net inflow of $1.07 billion, meaning more than half was given back in one day, yet the weekly total remains positive. The capital is not fleeing decisively but oscillating in pulses, which is more exhausting than a one-way outflow.
$ETH is weaker. There is support around 2400, but 2500 (20-day EMA) is pressing down, bearish sentiment on the options side remains, and the shadow of continuous ETF outflows for over ten days persists. For ETH to turn around, it must reclaim 2500 first; otherwise, any rebound will only be a pullback, not a reversal.
So, in the short term, don't boost your confidence with "large holders bullish"—it's more practical to treat this as "oscillation plus wick." Before $BTC holds the 80,000–82,000 range, the large holders' long ratio is just a position fact, not confirmation of an uptrend; a volume breakout above 80,000 combined with ETF outflows and liquidations on-chain will amplify downward pressure. In this divergent market, the worst thing is to chase highs and sell lows. Just watch two variables: whether ETF capital flow can truly turn back to sustained net inflows, and whether large holders' long positions will be liquidated by a downward move. Price not falling and large holders adding positions is a sign of strengthening bulls; price breaking down and large holders passively reducing positions means "bullish" will also be taught a lesson by liquidations.

Someone told me XRP is stable, saying Ripple pulled 1,500 decision-makers to support the event at the New York Swell conference, and the ecosystem is about to take off.
I casually checked the on-chain data; the number of whale wallets dropped from 351 to 339. The conference is ongoing, but the big wallets are moving out, which feels a bit disconnected.
Current price is 1.297, fluctuating between 1.29 and 1.315 in 24 hours, much calmer than the atmosphere at the venue.
I'm not denying the ecosystem's progress, just reminding myself not to get caught up in the hype. Two years ago, I chased a similar conference rally and got stuck for almost half a year. Learned my lesson well.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? $BTC long-short ratio is 51.49% to 48.51%—with such a small gap, you might think "the bulls have a slight advantage, no big deal."
The problem lies in those four words "no big deal."
This past weekend, $436 million was liquidated in 4 hours, with longs accounting for $404 million. Over 24 hours, bulls liquidated $195 million, while shorts only $19.47 million. In plain terms: the bulls have already been beaten up, but their positions haven't fully cleared; the funding rate is still positive. On OKX, $BTC funding rate is +0.0031%, meaning bulls are still paying to hold long.
This is the most frustrating part of the current market. It's not about whether it will drop, but that after the drop, bulls still refuse to admit defeat.
The 80,000 level has become a meat grinder over the past two weeks. From above 81,000 down to around 79,000, then bouncing back above 80,000, 210,000 people were wiped out, with longs making up nearly 80% of total liquidations. Every spike is doing the same thing: hitting the stop losses of leveraged longs, then pulling back to make a new batch think "the bottom is stable again." The funding rate hasn't turned negative, indicating bottom-fishers are still piling in, and these people are exactly the fuel for the next spike.
Looking at $ETH and $SOL: $ETH shorts are 50.28% vs longs 49.72%, $SOL shorts 50.32% vs longs 49.68%, differences so small they're almost negligible. But this "small difference" is the most dangerous—it means no one has truly exited, both sides believe they can win. $ETH perpetual funding rate is also positive at +0.00125%, $SOL at +0.00113%. Shorts have a slight edge but haven't gained the "shorts pay" pricing power; bulls are still bearing the cost. Holding on is resilience; failing to hold is a run.
The macro side isn't giving any relief either. December rate hike expectations still hang around 75%, FOMC is in the next two days, the market has mostly priced in no move in October, but if the statement hints even slightly hawkish, US Treasury yields will rise, and crypto will be the first risk asset to get hit. On the other hand, Bitcoin spot ETFs have seen continuous net inflows recently—$1.08 billion swept in over three days, with BlackRock's IBIT taking in over $500 million in a single day. Institutions are buying, leveraged bulls are holding, yet the price is stuck near 80,000—buying pressure hasn't disappeared but isn't enough to absorb selling pressure above. This divergence is more frustrating than simple long-short balance.
So the current situation isn't just "consolidation waiting for direction." Bulls are still paying, shorts haven't exerted force, macro risks hang like a knife, ETFs are supporting from below but not pushing up. Short term, it's likely to keep spiking back and forth, but the spikes tend downward—the liquidation cluster between 79,400 and 79,300 is not far from the current price, and if the 80,000 level is tested again, chain liquidations could easily trigger.
Don't be fooled by the 51.49% number. The long-short ratio tells you "who's still at the table," liquidation data and funding rates tell you "whose chair is the most unstable."
Is your position the one waiting to be washed out, or waiting to wash others?
$BTC $ETH $SOL #韩股重挫5%,存储多空信号对峙 #特斯拉发布新一代Roadster,行情走高 #Mistral AI获三星与欧盟基金领投30亿欧融资 Unrealized loss of 17 million, yet he's smirking: The "rent collection" scheme of the whale, most people have it all wrong
I've been staring at that on-chain screenshot for a long time. $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL three short positions lined up, with a combined unrealized loss of 17.65 million U, very glaring. But if you look further down at the funding fee column — 11.12 million U has already been pocketed.
Unrealized loss is on paper, funding fees are real cash flow coming in. This person isn't betting on direction; he's collecting rent.
First, lay out the positions and feel what "composure" means
$BTC short 5x full position, opened at 76331, current price around 80887, unrealized loss 10.77 million. But the liquidation price is 142688 — $BTC has to rise 76% from here to even touch his stop-loss line.
$ETH short 5x, opened at 2322.74, current price 2365, unrealized loss 1.75 million. Liquidation price 3871.93, $ETH must first rise above 3800 for this position to be considered "dangerous."
$SOL short 7x, opened at 94.3199, current price 102.39, unrealized loss 5.12 million. Liquidation price 324.4, more than triple the space buffered below.
Together, these three positions have margin exceeding 100 million U. This isn't licking blood on a knife's edge; this is collecting rent in an air raid shelter. No matter how the price grinds in the short term, it can't touch his bottom line. He's not waiting for a needle; he's waiting for a cycle.
Where is the most twisted part of the market now?
In the past week, $BTC dropped 3.7%, $ETH dropped 3.4%, $SOL dropped 4.1%, spot is bleeding real blood. But what about the perpetual contract funding rates? $BTC and $ETH are still hanging at +0.00125% positive, longs are paying, shorts are collecting.
In plain language: prices are falling, longs are losing, but longs are still paying money to shorts, begging shorts to keep holding their positions.
This is not a normal downtrend structure. Normally, in a downtrend, longs should admit defeat, funding rates should turn negative, and leverage should be cleared. But now the funding rate clings above zero, indicating those holding long positions haven't given up yet. That wildly shared post on OKX said it bluntly — "Longs aren't being shaken out; they're slowly bleeding," "Faith doesn't generate cash flow, it only creates counterparties."
Look at the news. US September CPI 3.7%, PPI month-on-month 1.3%, both hard data exceeding expectations. According to the script, risk assets should just collapse. But $BTC can't even touch 84000 again, bad news came out, price didn't crash, no rebound either. ETFs are flowing out, BlackRock IBIT single-day outflow of 71.78 million, institutions are withdrawing, retail is holding on. The FOMC on October 27-28 is just ahead, and the market's disagreement on the interest rate path is absurd — some price in no change, some still bet on a rate hike.
This kind of market is too comfortable for shorts. No need for a crash, no need for a black swan, just sideways price grinding, and funding fees jump like a stopwatch every 8 hours, steadily flowing into shorts' pockets.
So what exactly is this whale betting on?
He's not betting on "$BTC dropping to 70000 tomorrow." He's betting that longs are more patient than he is, which is an illusion.
Retail long-short ratio is clear: $ETH longs account for 73%, $SOL longs 72%. So many people are holding longs, paying funding fees, waiting for a "break-even and exit" rebound. But the whale's liquidation prices are 142688, 3871, 324 — he can wait three months, six months, or even longer for these people to break.
As long as the funding rate doesn't turn negative, he keeps collecting rent. The day the funding rate turns negative is when he needs to rethink. Historically, $BTC funding rates turning from positive to negative often signal bottoms rather than tops. He's precisely waiting for the long bleeding period before that signal appears.
An unrealized loss of 17 million looks scary, but 11.12 million already in pocket from funding fees, plus liquidation prices so far away they're almost nonexistent, the initiative in this game is not in the market's hands at all.
If it were you holding such positions, could you sleep at night? Or would your palms sweat if it doesn't rise for three days?
Let's discuss in the comments. 👇
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? #中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 If delivered, that would mark its sixth consecutive record quarter, supported by strong memory pricing and growing HBM demand from Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform.
The AI memory boom is still providing a powerful tailwind.
HBM supply remains tight, while DRAM and NAND pricing are also supporting profitability. SK Hynix has built a strong lead in high bandwidth memory, backed by manufacturing expertise and deep relationships with Nvidia.
But there’s another side to this story. At 3 a.m., is your position still alive?
Bitcoin was pierced straight through 78,000 with a single needle, $ETH couldn’t even hold 2,100, and the entire network saw $840 million liquidated in 24 hours, with 127,000 people wiped out. The largest single liquidation was $28.49 million, happening on $ETH. Bulls are bleeding heavily, with over 90% of liquidations being long positions.
But then something strange happened.
You check the long-short ratio, and retail traders hold 51.61% longs and 48.39% shorts on $BTC, bulls still holding a slight edge. Retail on $ETH and $CORE lean slightly short, but by less than one percent. Retail traders are hesitating, holding on, and betting on a rebound.
But look at OKX whale accounts: $BTC at 2.14, $ETH at 2.45, $CORE at 2.48. The long-short ratio among whales is even more extreme, with $BTC at 1.6352 and $ETH at 1.6954. External data puts it bluntly: OKX whale accounts are "extremely bullish" on $BTC and $ETH, while Binance and Bybit whales are in "cautious mode," shrinking back.
Retail hesitates, OKX whales are greedy, other whales are defensive. Three groups, three directions — this market can’t stay calm.
Look at the macro picture, and you’ll understand why the needle pierced so smoothly. The Federal Reserve keeps rates firmly at 3.50%–3.75%, and CME data shows less than a 10% chance of a rate cut this year. $BTC ETF net outflows nearly hit $1.256 billion in a single week, $ETH ETFs have been redeemed for six consecutive trading days, with $86.31 million withdrawn on May 18 alone. JPMorgan directly pointed at $ETH’s nose: network activity is sluggish, DeFi is weak, real-world applications aren’t landing — weakness has its reasons. The Fear & Greed Index hit 24, indicating extreme fear.
This is the true current backdrop: macro is draining liquidity, institutions are retreating, the market is being pierced, but OKX whales pile their positions on the long side.
So why are retail traders slightly bearish on $ETH and $CORE? The market isn’t stupid. $ETH’s weekly chart dropped 7.28%, ETFs bleed daily, the 4-hour structure remains bearish, and rebounds above 2,100 are on low volume with no directional momentum. $CORE’s problem is even worse — 2.1 billion total supply looms, the unlocking schedule is a sword hanging overhead, it’s already been crushed this year, the March single-day halving wound hasn’t healed, and now OKX whales’ long-short ratio hits 2.48, betting that "the drop is enough and a reversal is due," but unlocking sell pressure isn’t something you can hold with just passion.
So don’t be fooled by the phrase "whales going long." OKX whales’ logic is different from yours. They can withstand the needle; you can’t. Their positions can hold until unlocking lands; yours might be wiped out by a single needle.
The divergence between retail and whales is never about "who’s right or wrong," it’s about "who dies first." Whales bet on direction; you bet on survival.
$BTC is now stuck below the 78,000 level, the 4-hour trend hasn’t flipped, mid-term resistance remains, fear hasn’t dissipated, and ETF funds haven’t returned. The most frustrating move at this level isn’t a one-way trend, but back-and-forth stabbing, sweeping up and down, killing both longs and shorts. You think bulls dominate and chase in, then a needle hits; you switch to short, and it V-shapes back.
Don’t be fuel in this kind of market.
Watch if 78,000 can hold, watch if ETF outflows narrow, watch the $CORE unlocking calendar, and control your leverage. Whales are bullish — that’s their game; your only card is survival, so you can play the next round.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? #中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 Brothers, the long data is collectively rising, but I actually feel a bit uneasy.
$BTC current price 80489, $ETH 2346, $SOL 101.48. The long-short ratios of the three major coins are all pushing up, with Binance whales' long-short ratio for $SOL already hitting 2.87, and over 76% of accounts are long. From the market perspective, the sentiment is indeed heated. But it feels a bit off.
The most glaring is $SOL. 76.4% of accounts are long, but only 48.1% of active trades are long—holders are betting on a rebound, but the actual money trading is flowing out. The 8-hour average funding rate has turned negative to -0.021%, with $17.3M long liquidations and only $1.0M short liquidations in 24 hours. In plain terms: it's not shorts dumping, but crowded longs trampling each other and passively deleveraging. Around 100.10 is the short-term long defense line, and above 103.44 there is still a batch of passive long positions; if these two levels don't hold, the rebound will just provide liquidity to shorts. $SOL is the fastest to fall among the three, down nearly four times the $BTC drop since October, with ETF net outflows of 30.3 million over five days, and five out of seven products showing zero liquidity. The volatility is real, and the sell-off is ruthless.
$ETH's problem isn't leverage, it's money. In October, the US spot Ethereum ETF saw a cumulative net outflow of about $1.18 billion, bleeding for 14 out of 16 trading days, marking the largest single-month outflow this year. The Glamsterdam testnet activation was delayed again, so the technical narrative is temporarily void. The price is hovering around 2346, with over $670 million in leveraged long liquidation density below 2313. ETH's current structure is: leverage funds are increasing, but ETF buying is retreating, and the technical story is dragging. Once 2328 breaks, that pile of longs below becomes ready fuel.
$BTC looks the most stable, but that stability feels fake. This week, spot ETF net inflow was 301 million, ending two consecutive weeks of outflows, which sounds good. But breaking it down: from Monday to Wednesday, 1.07 billion went in, then Thursday and Friday saw 773.5 million outflow, with Thursday's single-day 635.6 million being the largest single-day outflow since June. This is not "buying returning," it's proactive position reduction before events. 80000 is a psychological barrier, but 79200–79800 is the real thick support zone below. Longs stubbornly hold above 80000, and funding rates remain positive—stubborn longs into falling spot; longs refusing to leave during a drop is itself building fuel for a shakeout.
On the macro side, the FOMC is very likely not the bomb tonight, but December is. CME prices October hold steady at 90.6%, with only 9.4% chance of a 25bp hike. The real threat is December: the market prices a 67.5% chance of a 25bp hike, and all 100 economists surveyed by Reuters expect a hike then. In other words, this October meeting will likely "say nothing," with suspense resting on Powell's press conference wording and December's dot plot. Meanwhile, Brent crude remains above $116, Middle East supply risks persist, oil prices suppress risk appetite, and crypto's high-beta assets feel the chill first.
So the current situation is clear: long data is collectively rising, not because buying is coming in, but because leverage is holding hard. $SOL has already shown signs of crowded longs being liquidated, $ETH is dragged down by ETF bleeding, and $BTC is propped up by the 80000 psychological level but funds quietly shrink before events.
Consensus bullishness has never been a bottom characteristic. Bottoms come quietly after no one dares to call longs, funding rates turn negative, and longs are washed out.
Before the FOMC, don't rush to prove you "called the direction right." Watch $SOL at 100.10 and 103.44, watch $ETH at 2328, watch $BTC at 79200. Whichever breaks first will be the first domino in this round of shakeouts. Keep positions light and hands quick; that's more practical than any judgment.
$BTC $ETH $SOL #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #AI押注受挫,华尔街交易巨头月亏150亿美元 #Hyperliquid海力士永续插针,平台承诺赔付清算损失 Will BTC first test 86000 or first pull back to 84000? Let's talk about the clues given by the capital flow
Yesterday it was still withdrawing, today it started buying again. This wave of ETF capital rotation is indeed interesting. Data from October 21 shows BTC net inflow of 40.8 million USD, ETH net inflow of 29.4 million USD, and SOL also shifted from slight outflow to inflow. The three major coins turning positive simultaneously at least indicates that short-term sentiment has eased compared to a few days ago
But looking closely at the structure, the divergence is still significant. BTC has a 7-day ETF net inflow of 513 million USD, showing the most obvious improvement in capital flow, but the pressure around 85000–86000 cannot be digested by just one day of inflow. Although ETH had a single-day return flow, it still had a net outflow of 680 million USD over the past 30 days, and the battle between bulls and bears around the 2500 level is far from over. $SOL previously referenced at 108.4; if it fails to break through near 110, the short-term risk of chasing highs will be greater than it appears
The real big test is on October 28. Around the Fed's interest rate decision announcement, the sustainability of capital flow is more important than single-day figures. Rather than guessing the direction, it's better to observe who can maintain net inflows for several consecutive trading days
Do you think BTC will first break through 86000 or first pull back to test 84000?

#中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 $BTC Midterm election “curse” about to replay? November 3rd becomes the observation window 🗳️📉
🔍 Historical review: After the 2018 midterm elections, BTC dropped about 45.5% within a month; in the same period in 2022, the decline was about 7%, showing a big difference in magnitude. The sample size is small, so "post-election must drop" cannot be taken as an ironclad rule.
🌐 Macro perspective: Elections may disturb regulatory expectations, fiscal imagination, and risk appetite, but BTC is more influenced by liquidity, interest rate paths, and institutional funds. The real signal lies in the capital flow, not slogans.
📌 Key observation: Around $80,000 is an important short-term support. If it breaks down effectively, beware of deeper pullbacks; if it rebounds with volume and retakes this level, short-term pressure may ease.
💭 Personal view: Volatility may rise before and after the election, but history will not simply repeat. Rather than betting on a crash date, it’s better to watch support levels and whether ETFs continue net outflows.
⚠️ Risk reminder: The above is a historical and market review, not investment advice. Don’t heavily short due to the election cycle; manage leverage and position size carefully.
Do you think the “curse” will replay this time, or will BTC chart an independent course? Feel free to discuss👇#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? In the early morning, Bitcoin dropped back below $80,000, with Ethereum following suit, basically erasing the 24-hour gains.
The harshest part is not the drop itself, but the speed. In less than 60 minutes, about $200 million worth of leveraged positions were forcibly liquidated. This number indicates one thing: many people were holding high leverage waiting for a rebound, but what came was liquidation.
Forced liquidations have a chain reaction. When the price drops a bit, the first batch of margin can't hold, triggering passive selling; these sell orders push the price down further; then the second batch gets liquidated. So, rapid crashes in a short time are often not caused by someone dumping, but by leverage stepping on itself, accelerating the fall.
This news has already reached 460,000 views, showing that panic is truly spreading. But fast-spreading sentiment doesn't mean the direction is set. Liquidity is thin on Friday nights, a large order can create a deep pit, and with ETFs inactive on Monday, prices can easily become distorted.
My own approach is simple: in these late-night spike moves, I neither chase shorts nor bottom-fish. I first watch two things: whether the funding rate of perpetual contracts turns from positive to negative after this wave of liquidations, and whether the $80,000 level can be reclaimed on the daily chart.
At times like this, the biggest problem with positions is not being wrong on direction, but not holding on until the direction plays out. Lower leverage means better sleep and a chance for the next opportunity. $BTC $80,000 Tug of War: ETFs Waiting for a Story, Whales Waiting for Discounts
Bitcoin is still fluctuating repeatedly around $80,000, with short-term moves resembling a re-pricing between bulls and bears rather than a one-sided breakout.
On-chain whales are not a monolith. Since October, 40 new addresses have withdrawn about 9,458 BTC from Wintermute, but these are market makers withdrawing coins and cannot be directly equated with new buying demand. Another whale that entered in March 2020 moved out 4,582 BTC, which has not yet entered exchanges and looks more like custodial reorganization. Addresses holding 10–10,000 BTC have increased their balance to about 13.69 million BTC, a high since April. However, CryptoQuant shows that the average cost for new whales is about $77,000, and the overall annual whale indicator remains near -39,000 BTC, indicating reduced selling pressure rather than aggressive accumulation.
Contract strategy: If $80,000 does not break, expect consolidation and recovery; if volume breaks below $79,000–80,000, reduce exposure first. Spot strategy: Do not chase the rally; wait for a volume-backed hold above $81,000 before considering adding back. $BTC Not a shareholder, not a financier, just an "outsourcer": The relationship between Mobilum and Core is not as deep as you think
Many promotions package Mobilum as a strategic ally of SatPay, even backed by financial capital, but in essence, it is just a white-label outsourcing service cooperation. Mobilum neither holds shares in Core DAO nor provides financial support, and it is not a project shareholder or financier.
It only provides crypto payment card technology, KYC, and chain integration solutions, earning service fees; the underlying card issuance, fund clearing, and reserve responsibilities originally relied on Quicko, but after Quicko's license issues, the entire chain has been under continuous pressure. Mobilum itself is a small player outside the Canadian market, with only thin VASP and payment licenses, lacking banking qualifications.
Core itself was issued via Fair Launch, with no primary VC locked tokens as a backstop. BitGo, Valour, and Mobilum are all service providers cooperating on demand, without long-term binding agreements. If returns fall short of expectations or regulatory risks rise, services can be terminated and parties can exit at any time.
SatPay is the core pillar of Core's revenue buyback narrative, and this payment story is entirely built on the compliance capabilities of the outsourcer. The two are merely the client and the technical outsourcer, with a shallow binding that is insufficient to support a rise in the token price. When I screen low-priced coins, the first thing I don't look at is how much they have dropped, but rather whether the subsequent supply pressure is increasing or decreasing. BCH and NEAR correspond exactly to three different situations.
STRK belongs to the category where selling pressure has not yet fully subsided. In mid-October, over 100 million tokens unlocked and already impacted the price once, then the official team proposed a minting plan: an annual inflation cap of 4%, calculated based on the square root of the staking rate. The earlier part is unlocked chips, the latter is new supply; these two layers of pressure combined, so I won't rush to buy just because it has dropped a lot. Eight cents may not be the bottom; I will wait to see the performance around six cents first, letting the chips truly settle before making a move.
The supply logic of $BCH is the simplest: capped at 21 million coins, no continuous issuance. It doesn't have a complicated inflation narrative; its core value remains fixed supply combined with payment scenarios—currently supported by over 3,000 merchants, and external trading channels include CME futures and Grayscale ETF. My expectation for it is not a sudden breakout but rather repeated consolidation around 275; if the pullback can hold, I will continue to keep my position.
$NEAR seems more like actively improving its fundamentals. Inflation has been reduced from 5% to 2.5%, easing long-term supply pressure; the adoption of Intents continues to advance, also providing real data support for the Agent economy that has been talked about for a year. Among the three, I consider it relatively stable, with the key level still at $4.5: as long as it doesn't break below, the original logic doesn't need to be hastily overturned.
Therefore, these three coins cannot be compared on the same "cheap" scale.
One is still enduring supply expansion, one maintains scarcity through fixed total supply, and one improves structure by lowering inflation. Prices may all be low, but whether they can be revalued in the future depends on completely different conditions.
The extent of the drop determines whether it looks cheap, but changes in supply and demand determine whether it is worth buying. The most critical signal in this data set is not "high proportion of large holders being long," but the simultaneous occurrence of large holders being long, retail investors leaning short, and ETF funds flowing out. This indicates that the current market lacks a unilateral consensus and instead shows a misalignment in capital structure: large holders are betting on a rebound or mid-term positioning, retail investors are more cautious, while institutional ETF funds are still cooling down.
The BTC long-short ratio is slightly above 1, with retail sentiment somewhat strong, but the large holders' long position ratio is higher at 1.6352, indicating that big money prefers to go long using contracts. ETH and CORE retail investors are slightly bearish, but large holders' long ratios reach 1.6954 and 2.48 respectively, showing a more obvious divergence. Especially for CORE, where chips are already highly concentrated and the large holders' long-short ratio is influenced by a few addresses, its reference value should be discounted.
In the short term, it is more suitable to treat the market as "oscillating with spikes." Before BTC holds the $80,000–$82,000 range, the large holders' long ratio should not be directly taken as confirmation of an uptrend; if it breaks below $80,000 with volume, ETF outflows combined with liquidation risks will amplify downward pressure. ETH is weaker, with bearish preferences still present in the options market; any rebound depends on whether it can retake the $2,500 level.
In terms of operations, in such a divergent market, avoid chasing highs or selling lows. Focus on two variables: whether ETF fund flows turn back to net inflows, and whether large holders' long positions are being forcefully liquidated by price declines. If the price does not fall and large holders continue to add positions, it signals strengthening bullishness; if the price breaks down and large holders passively reduce positions, it means "large holders' bullishness" can also be liquidated. The above is only a data interpretation and does not constitute investment advice.
$BTC $ETH But Bitcoin also has real issues: Nasdaq down 2.6%, $7.74 billion ran off from ETFs in two days, oil price locked at $112 fueling rate hike expectations, $820 million liquidations with 93% being long positions, $855 million long liquidations below 79,000 are waiting, and the Federal Reserve is just three days away on October 28.
Breaking 80,000 doesn’t mean the "bottom" has arrived. It means: the last crowded position of leveraged longs has been cleared out. Whether it can stabilize next depends not on what the candlestick chart shows, but on the Federal Reserve’s words on October 28 and when the ETF door reopens.
Don’t be the 214,000th liquidation on the night when 213,000 people have already been liquidated.

Distance upwards: about 2.4% to the integer barrier at 0.045. This is the target I’m waiting for.
Distance downwards: a 2.30% drop back to the cost line at 0.04294. This is the full downside risk I can tolerate.
The two numbers are almost the same, indicating it’s stuck right in the middle — not leaning either way. Although it looks close to the target, it’s actually just as close to zeroing out.
This is the temperament of small coins: when they rise, it’s driven by capital inflow; when they fall, it’s driven by capital withdrawal, with little buffer in between. It has dropped over 90% from its high, only catching a breath these past two days, but with loose chips and heavy sentiment, the pullback is just as sharp.

#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? Don't be fooled by the "publicly listed company": Core's payment partner Mobilum is just a small Canadian shell company
The community promotion likes to use Mobilum as a Canadian listed company to strengthen SatPay's financial endorsement, but many don't know that it is listed on the CSE Canadian Securities Exchange, not Nasdaq or the Toronto main board, and it was delisted from the CSE in April 2026, now only sporadically traded OTC. It has been suspended multiple times in the past, with repeated business restructurings, and its market value has long been only a few million euros, making it a micro-cap stock, far from a leading payment giant.
It does not have a banking license, only a Polish payment institution license and EU VASP qualification. Its debit card channel is still dependent on a third-party card issuer; its cooperation with Core is just a white-label outsourcing partnership, charging technical service fees, with no equity stake in Core or obligation to back funds.
Its small scale and insufficient capital reserves are also core reasons for SatPay's slow approval progress, lacking sufficient reserve funds to handle payment risk control. Coupled with Core itself having no primary VC backing, official nodes continuously withdrawing, and unresolved ghost chip selling pressure. The so-called "listed financial partner" is essentially a small outsourcing service provider with limited resources. This listed company label is more of a packaging narrative.Comparison of RWA Mechanisms: Differences in Transmission Between Asset Revenue Generation and Token Empowerment
In the RWA sector, a common valuation logic is: the larger the asset scale and the higher the TVL, the more foundation the token has for price appreciation. However, an objective examination of the mechanisms reveals that there is often a significant transmission difference between "asset-side revenue generation" and "token-side empowerment."
Comparing these three projects:
$ONDO has a massive tokenized government bond scale. But its token is currently mainly positioned for governance, and on-chain buyback and burn are still under proposal discussion; although OUSG's interest distribution mechanism has been approved through governance, the actual implementation progress remains to be confirmed. Its value driver at this stage relies more on the expectation of asset scale expansion.
$SKY has high on-chain real income, exceeding $100 million quarterly. However, its fund allocation is conservative: only 5% of net surplus is designated for permanent burn, with most profits retained in the treasury. Its token value more reflects the protocol's underlying security and robustness.
$PENDLE holds 50%-60% share of yield trading. After the upgrade, up to 80% of protocol income is used to buy back sPENDLE. It should be clarified that its mechanism focuses on distributing the repurchased tokens to stakers rather than full burn, but this path provides very direct cash flow feedback.
Summary:
The above three projects present three mechanism paths in the RWA sector: ONDO focuses on asset scale expansion and governance expectations; SKY emphasizes a robust foundation under large profit retention; PENDLE focuses on high-proportion income buybacks and direct distribution. #SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? Many people blame SatPay's repeated delays on complex technical development. In fact, the underlying lending and card link technology framework has long been established; the core bottleneck lies in compliance and funding.
Compliance side: This BTC-collateralized self-repaying loan + debit card consumption model spans multiple business categories including crypto assets, credit, and payments. It must comply with the EU's MiCA, various countries' AML anti-money laundering regulations, and card network risk controls. Mobilum only holds a Polish payment license with limited coverage, making cross-regional scaling and approval extremely difficult.
Funding side: Consumer payment businesses require continuous preparation of sufficient reserve funds and risk reserves, and must bear ongoing costs for card network clearing and KYC operations. Core lacks primary VC funding backing, and the ecosystem itself lacks stable cash flow, making it difficult to continuously invest heavily in refining risk control and compliance qualifications.
Adding internal project disruptions: official nodes gradually withdrawing, the August hard fork due to vulnerabilities consuming resources, further squeezing SatPay's budget and manpower.
SatPay is the foundation of Core's revenue buyback narrative. As long as compliance is not achieved and reserve funds are insufficient, it cannot scale commercially, and expected fee buybacks will remain uncertain. Technology is not the barrier; regulatory red lines and continuous funding are the two insurmountable hurdles.Don't wait any longer, Core's "Bitcoin Bank" has not yet obtained a banking license
Many promotions package SatPay as Core's Bitcoin bank, but the facts need to be clarified: SatPay itself does not have a banking license, and its partner Mobilum only holds a Polish payment institution license, not a full-function banking license. It cannot accept deposits and does not have banking qualifications. It is merely a payment service provider, capable only of card issuance and fund transfers, completely different from a traditional commercial bank.
Originally scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026, currently there is only a small-scale beta and a waiting list, with no large-scale commercial use. The hybrid business model of BTC staking plus debit card spending faces complex regulatory reviews under the MiCA and anti-money laundering frameworks in Europe and the US, with card organizations and fund flow approvals continuously stuck.
Institutions like BitGo and Valour are all BTC staking outsourcing service providers; there is no primary VC lock-up backing. Currently, official validator nodes are continuously withdrawing, weakening network consensus.
SatPay is the core source of Core's revenue buyback narrative. Without the endorsement of a banking license, it cannot realize a truly meaningful "Bitcoin bank," and the expected fee cash flow remains uncertain. The so-called banking story is essentially a conceptual packaging of a payment license.Waiting list of 20,000 people ≠ product launch: SatPay's "payment dream" is still stuck at the PPT stage
The community often highlights the waiting list of over 20,000 people to hype SatPay's imminent explosion, but a queue does not equal commercial launch. The payment debit card product originally scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026 is currently only in a very limited closed beta test, not open to the public, and there is no stable real fee flow into the ecosystem.
The only partner is Mobilum, a payment infrastructure service provider, with no deep backing from a large licensed bank. The BTC collateral lending + consumer card model is stuck in European and American regulations, anti-money laundering, and card network clearing approvals, with risk control chain polishing much more difficult than expected. Coupled with internal project disturbances, official nodes continue to withdraw, and the August vulnerability consumed a large amount of development resources, further delaying progress.
SatPay is the core pillar of Core's revenue buyback narrative, expected to provide cash flow to continuously buy CORE, but this remains uncertain. Institutions like BitGo and Valour are only BTC staking service providers, not heavy capital investors. The long waiting list is more of a marketing tactic to maintain community expectations. Without scaled transaction volume support, this payment story essentially remains at the planning stage. The market is grinding, but I held onto the 20x short position. Regulatory, anti-money laundering, and card network clearing approvals in Europe and the US are extremely difficult, and the risk control process is taking much longer than expected. Additionally, the project team’s focus has shifted: official nodes are gradually withdrawing from block production, and a hard fork in August to fix a reward loophole consumed a lot of resources, further slowing down SatPay’s progress.
SatPay is the foundation of the revenue buyback narrative in the Core 2026 roadmap, with the expected fee buyback logic entirely dependent on it. Now that the product cannot scale and operate smoothly, stable cash flow naturally falls through. The long waiting list seems more like a marketing tactic to maintain expectations, not a sign of imminent launch. Institutional cooperation is just outsourced service; if SatPay is delayed long-term, the entire value narrative will continue to be under pressure.BTC market dominance has returned to 60%, making life really tough for altcoins. The 10x short position on $IRYS is the best example — opened at 0.09636, current price 0.03848, floating profit 600.66%. The price was smashed down smoothly from the high, hardly giving any chance for a rebound.
What's the current market situation? When BTC dips, some buyers step in, but many altcoins see no one catching the fall. A 60% market dominance means that out of every 100 units of market value, 60 are concentrated in Bitcoin, leaving altcoins to fight over the remaining 40. Capital flows to BTC, and small coins that rose too much earlier become the hardest hit during withdrawals.
$WAL follows the same logic. I previously traded it during a hype wave, but once the heat died down, no one caught it. I opened a 10x short at 0.04731, now at 0.04142, floating profit 124.49%. These two positions profit from altcoin funds being drained by BTC's rally.
Many are still waiting for the altcoin season, but the market doesn't lie. The capital focus is on BTC; when BTC rises, altcoins can't keep up; when BTC corrects, altcoins fall even harder. Those who can short with the trend should do so, but remember to lock in profits anytime—only money in your pocket is truly yours. $BTC $ETH #BTC现货ETF资金反复,市场买盘能否企稳? #中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 A bit of luck, but also watched the market for a few days.
$IRYS has been weakening continuously, underperforming the market, and the unlocking selling pressure is really hitting hard. Shorted at 0.08156, waited for a bearish signal to enter, and got out at 0.03872. The logic is simple: concentrated chips plus unlocking selling pressure, it falls faster than it rises.
In the short term, if 0.038 holds, expect a rebound to 0.05; if it breaks, look for 0.02-0.03.
With 10x leverage, never gamble on a reversal; first reduce position significantly to lock in profits, and keep stop-loss tight near the current price on the remaining position to protect the principal.
$BTC $ETH #中东原油供应风险再起,油价持续走强 Promised to launch in the first half of 2026, but now delayed again? Where exactly is Core DAO's SatPay stuck?
SatPay was originally promoted to officially launch in the first half of 2026, but currently it is only in a small-scale closed Beta test and has not been officially launched to the public. The only partner is Mobilum; there is no direct backing from traditional licensed major banks. Mobilum is just a new banking infrastructure service provider and does not carry a global banking license.
The biggest bottleneck is cross-regional compliance and anti-money laundering review: the model of BTC-collateralized self-repaying loans plus debit card consumption is considered a high-risk hybrid business under European and American regulatory frameworks. The pace of license approvals in multiple regions is slow, and KYC/fund flow rules are repeatedly adjusted. Secondly, the product chain is highly complex, requiring integration of Core chain staking, lending pools, stablecoin transfers, and card network clearing across multiple stages. The risk control model needs a long time to refine.
Adding to the project's own disruptions: official validator nodes are gradually withdrawing, network consensus is under pressure, and after the August vulnerability incident, the team's resource focus was passively shifted.
SatPay is the core source of Core's 2026 revenue buyback narrative, but its revenue loop has not yet been completed. Beta does not equal commercial use; without large-scale real transaction fees, the buyback logic remains suspended. Institutional cooperation is only technical outsourcing; the three key hurdles of licensing, risk control, and clearing have not been passed, so the launch time can only be repeatedly postponed.Reviewing this trade: Shorted $TRUMP at 1.87 with 50x leverage, now at 1.655, floating profit +574%.
The core logic focuses solely on capital flow: related entities hold 80% of the chips, unlocking linearly daily, transferring over $249 million to exchanges within 8 months. Today is the monthly unlock day, with over 900,000 tokens becoming liquid. The Meme sector is simultaneously retreating, with obvious selling pressure. 1.87 is a recently tested resistance multiple times without breaking; after touching it, the position was immediately shorted.
The current price is grinding at 1.655, short-term support at 1.65 is approaching. With 50x leverage, no attachment to the fight; taking profits in batches, leaving a base position with stop loss raised to the cost line.
$BTC $DOGE #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? [Xiaoming's Market Watch]
Amazon's Q3 earnings report is coming soon. With such strong demand for AWS computing power, what are the key points to watch this time?
Xiaoming says directly, the highlight of this earnings report is not how much e-commerce sold, but whether AWS, this "money printing machine," can continue to run at high speed, and whether the hundreds of billions of dollars spent will make an impact.
Key point one: Can AWS maintain its growth rate? The market expects AWS revenue to be around $33 billion to $34 billion. Whether the year-over-year growth can hold at 20% or even higher is the core valuation hinge for Amazon.
Key point two: How crazy is the capital expenditure? Amazon's AI capital expenditure this year is expected to reach $100 billion or even $200 billion. The market is no longer afraid of you spending money, but afraid that you spend money without making profits. If management hints that spending will continue next year, or free cash flow turns further negative, the stock price will still suffer.
Key point three: Can advertising and retail provide a safety net? Advertising has become Amazon's second engine with very high profit margins. If AWS growth slows a bit, better-than-expected advertising and retail can offset that and provide a floor for the earnings report.
What does this mean for Bitcoin? The earnings report directly determines market confidence in AI infrastructure investment returns. If AWS exceeds expectations and capital expenditure is controllable, tech stocks will warm up, and Bitcoin can catch a breather; if the earnings report disappoints, Bitcoin may not escape falling below 79,000 to 78,000!
