Bitcoin's "Solo Act": The Market Divergence Logic Behind Dominance
The current crypto market presents an intriguing "divergence" pattern: although Bitcoin's price is rising, the broader crypto market mostly remains under pressure. This "one-hit wonder" phenomenon precisely reveals the risk-averse instinct of capital flow amid high uncertainty.
Investors tend to concentrate exposure on BTC, the "digital gold," rather than risking smaller, more volatile altcoins. This is why the Bitcoin dominance indicator is crucial—it is not just data fluctuation but a barometer of market power concentration and dispersion.
Of course, a truly sustainable and comprehensive recovery cannot rely solely on Bitcoin's solo effort. The market ultimately needs to verify whether Ethereum and other major assets have enough resilience to meaningfully participate in the rally, thereby establishing the health and breadth of the bull market. #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? A total liquidation of 431 million across the entire network! SOL is purely being dragged down, HYPE is the real problem
The entire network saw liquidations as high as 431 million USD in 24 hours, with long liquidations accounting for nearly 60%, spreading market panic. But the core logic behind this round of decline is very clear: SOL is passively dragged down by macro factors, while HYPE is independently weakening due to its own narrative collapse.
The major market sell-off this round stems from macro negative factors: US inflation exceeded expectations, the market repriced the Fed's rate cut delay, the dollar and US Treasury yields rose simultaneously, and global risk assets collectively deleveraged. Coupled with tense Middle East situations and a collective downturn in the AI sector, the crypto market is under overall downward pressure.
$SOL fundamentals are completely fine, purely wrongly punished by the market.
Yesterday, the Alpenglow mainnet completed a major upgrade, reducing confirmation time from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds, cutting validation costs by 60%, a solid technical positive. However, ETF funds have continuously flowed out for ten days, with weekly outflows hitting a record, suppressing price movement, and the key support at 102.24 is being tested.
$HYPE is the real weak core this round.
This week, HYPE dropped 9%, far exceeding BTC's 2%; the HYPE/BTC rate plummeted 7.1%, falling below 100,000 satoshis for the first time, indicating independent selling pressure and flight.
The core reason: CFTC opened perpetual trading in the US region, Coinbase and Kalshi entered compliantly, completely dismantling Hyperliquid's exclusive monopoly narrative, leading to concentrated capital flight.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? KLA dropped nearly 10% in one day on Thursday, losing half its value in just over three months. A company with almost no competition for its business has fallen this far.
My first reaction was to double-check the code, to make sure I wasn’t seeing it wrong.
It opened down 5%, the highest price of the day was only 24 cents above the opening price, closing at 147.83, with volume more than double the usual.
Let’s lay out the numbers first.
On the same day, Lam dropped 12%, Applied Materials fell 8%. The trigger was Lam’s Wednesday earnings report: guidance was only slightly above expectations, and it dropped 6% after hours.
At first, I thought the equipment cycle had peaked.
Maybe many people are thinking the same. But on the other side, it’s different: Nvidia is only down 13% from its October 6 high, TSMC is down 15% from its October 5 high. Equipment buyers are down nearly half from the end of June highs, but chip buyers were hitting new highs just two weeks ago.
I’ve been thinking about this all along.
Simply put, the market is only asking one question now: will wafer fabs continue to expand production? KLA’s process control technology has few competitors who can match it. The reason it’s being hit isn’t competition, but the assumption that more equipment purchases will continue.
My approach: don’t catch a falling knife.
If it stands back above 163.43 (Wednesday’s close = upper gap edge) and daily volume shrinks below 10 million shares, I admit I was wrong. If it breaks below 146.55, after halving there could be a second leg down. Earnings after the market closes next Wednesday—whether delayed or canceled—will be a definitive test.
Which do you bet on: delay or cancellation?

This time is exactly the opposite of Q1 and Q2: Q1 GAAP was 5.11, Q2 was 9.11, entirely relying on equity revaluation (Q2 single quarter equity income was about $99 billion, excluding which EPS was only 2.85). However, Q3 had no new Anthropic financing (Series H was completed at the end of May, valuation 965 billion; the next step is the November IPO, which will fall in Q4). But after SpaceX went public in June, it has been measured at market price: SPCX went from 170.86 on 6/30 to 150.86 on 9/30, down 11.6%; Alphabet's holding of $94.1 billion corresponds to about -$11 billion pre-tax, about -$0.7 per share. So GAAP is very likely between 2.2–2.5, to exceed 3.10 it would depend on narrowing of the restricted stock discount (DLOM) or other one-time gains. ⚡️ $ETH
Fine-tuning the high position, it's better to be conservative with Ethereum at high levels. Just like before, BTC gave a shorting opportunity at its position, but Ethereum did not, which is actually a good thing. Many people like to short both Ethereum and BTC simultaneously; these two are same-direction large market positions. Although they rise and fall together, their rhythms are often not synchronized—either BTC moves faster than Ethereum, or Ethereum moves faster than BTC. So if you must short both BTC and Ethereum at the same time, stagger the timing to be safer. First take BTC, then wait for Ethereum to move higher before entering Ethereum. Of course, if you can be more stable, you only need to choose one of the two to trade. Currently, Ethereum only has daily support around 2360 below. This level has been tested repeatedly, and it's actually not recommended to go long at lower levels anymore. If you must, set your own stop loss (2300 or 2320) and don't hold the position stubbornly. #ETF单日流出超6亿美元,BTC价格能否企稳? On October 23, spot gold fell below $4000 per ounce during the session, potentially marking the largest weekly drop in over four months, with silver's decline even more severe.
What’s most unusual about this drop is that despite the escalation of the Middle East conflict, gold did not follow its traditional safe-haven rally.
The reason is not complicated.
The Middle East situation is pushing oil prices higher, which in turn raises inflation expectations. Initial jobless claims in the U.S. dropped to 194,000, indicating the labor market remains resilient.
This means the Federal Reserve has reason to continue its tightening policy, possibly even raising rates further.
Gold itself does not generate interest, so a high interest rate environment weakens its appeal.
My judgment: short-term bearish, and the real determinant of the subsequent trend is whether the Fed’s policy expectations shift.
The Fed meeting is scheduled for October 27-28, with PCE inflation data released on the 29th.
If inflation remains stubborn and rate expectations rise further, gold’s correction may not be over yet.
If rate expectations turn, gold could see a more sustained rebound.
$XAUT ETH spot fund signals must be taken seriously! The decline is only 14%, but the sell-off far exceeds the total accumulation of the past two months
ETH's current price has only retraced 14%, but the spot sell-off is astonishing, with the selling volume twice that of the accumulation over the previous two months.
Reviewing the 90-day spot CVD data: the indicator rose from -100,000K to +200,000K, with the rise in August-September driven by solid spot buying. After peaking in mid-September, the October CVD quickly dropped to -528,000K, hitting a new low for this period. This means that funds are cashing out the chips accumulated in August and September as a whole, not just a simple pullback or consolidation.
Key support levels marked:
✅2375–2400: The first critical range, today's low of 2393 has already been reached, which is a dense chip area at the 1-hour level
✅2250–2300: Mid-October consolidation platform, secondary support
✅2000–2100: The bottom platform where the August rally started, also the starting point of this 90-day CVD cycle; if it falls here, all profits from this round of accumulation will be wiped out
Upper observation confirmation signal: If the rebound reaches the 2450–2480 range, and the CVD rebound is weak and cannot hold above 30K before turning down again, this is a secondary confirmation signal for the bears.

#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? Revenue hit a record but missed expectations, dropping overnight to about 79. My advice for $DECK at this position is not to rush.
Fiscal Q2 revenue was 1.481 billion, up 3.5% year-over-year, but CNBC reported it was below LSEG's expectation of about 1.51 billion.
HOKA only rose 6.8%, UGG +3.5%, while comparable store sales at direct stores dropped 6.4%.
Diluted EPS came in at 2.31, including about 0.28 from tariff refunds; full-year revenue guidance is 5.7–5.725 billion, also below the market consensus of about 5.88 billion.
I think the market isn't punishing whether this quarter set a record, but the clear slowdown in growth, plus guidance that doesn't meet Street's appetite. The tariff refund in EPS also makes it look good but not clean.
The close was still at 85.28, but overnight it once dropped to about 79. My advice at this position is not to rush, first see if tonight's open can hold around 79, then talk about standing back at 85; if the daily close breaks around 77, consider the after-hours drop invalid.
Are you more worried about HOKA's growth continuing to slow, or that the tariff refund inflated profits?

#MetaQ3营收超预期,巨额AI投入引发担忧 I treat this piece of information as a data review: the input is a net outflow of $635.54 million from Bitcoin spot ETFs yesterday. BlackRock IBIT outflowed $254.1 million, Fidelity FBTC outflowed $217.46 million, ARKB outflowed $109.43 million, Grayscale GBTC outflowed $29.53 million; basically, several major products are experiencing outflows.
My judgment is: short-term bearish, but if the market directly interprets this as "institutional full-scale withdrawal," it might be a bit of overfitting. ETF fund flows do affect $BTC sentiment and liquidity, especially when top products outflow simultaneously, which easily causes cautious funds to hit the pause button; the risk appetite in related sectors may also be dragged down together.
But there is a data bug here: a single-day net outflow does not mean all holders are panic selling; it may also mix fund rebalancing, subscriptions/redemptions, and arbitrage activities. Moreover, the combined outflows of these products are not the whole picture, so we cannot infer mid-to-long-term trends by only focusing on the top numbers. If the outflows expand continuously over multiple days, the logic is closer to "demand-side cooling"; if it quickly recovers, it looks more like a short-term fluctuation.
If I were to revise this conclusion, I would add continuous intervals, total asset changes, and price performance before judging the impact level. Please help review: do you think this is a signal of institutional withdrawal or just a single-day rollback of ETF funds?$BTC The Federal Reserve meeting is next week, and many are still waiting for a "rate cut boost." But the market is betting on something else:
📌 On 10/29 at 2 AM (Beijing time) announcement: about a 90% probability of holding steady, almost 0 probability of a rate cut
📌 The real suspense is in December: about a 75% chance of a 25 basis point rate hike (CME FedWatch / Polymarket)
What does this mean for the crypto space? The higher the interest rates, the more the US dollar cash and short-term US Treasuries yield nearly 4% just by sitting, making non-yielding BTC harder to attract funds.
So next week, don’t focus on "whether to hike or not," focus on whether the press conference leaves the door open for a December hike:
✅ Soften the tone, December hike probability drops, risk assets can breathe easier
⚠️ Clearly hint at a December hike, the dollar and Treasury yields may strengthen further
The biggest expectation gap this round: everyone is waiting for a rate cut, the market is waiting for a hike.
Not investment advice #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? 10.23 Gold Day Session Strategy Sharing:
Yesterday I emphasized that if the gold price breaks below 4100, it will continue to decline, for three reasons.
1. The early morning downward movement in a weak trend is the first signal of weakness;
2. The rebound highs are gradually moving lower, indicating persistent resistance above, which is the second signal of weakness;
3. The Asian session directly broke below 4100, showing that bearish momentum is continuously releasing.
So in terms of trading, a slight rebound to 4100-4110 is a direct shorting opportunity. Did you catch that?
After the early morning drop today, how should we view the market?
First, the early morning decline is a continuation of yesterday’s drop, falling from 4143 with a 150 USD decrease. This process is a slow decline with no rebound strength at all. Especially this morning, it dropped directly during sideways trading.
Second, the watershed is the high point reached after the morning open, around 4032. If this level is not broken, the bearish structure remains and any rebound is just a correction. Also, breaking the bottom this morning is a bonus signal of weakness. Next, we need to observe the overall performance of the European session. If the European session aligns with the morning, the US session is likely to accelerate the pullback.
Third, the biggest feature this week is the US session’s surge and fall, and today being Friday, the expectation is no exception. So if there is a rebound in the US session, still pay attention to the opportunity of a surge followed by a fall.
$XAU Trading Strategy:
1. Keep 20% of short positions at 4135 and 4100 open
2. Short directly on a rebound to 4025-35 #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #France's government bond yields hit a 24-year high, will bond market risks spill over?
The leader has something to say
Solana completed the first phase of the Alpenglow mainnet upgrade on October 21. The goal is to reduce the transaction finalization time from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds while lowering validator operating costs. This is a hardcore performance upgrade at the infrastructure level for DeFi, stablecoin payments, and high-frequency trading.
I think this is a significant technical upgrade, but don't expect an immediate short-term takeoff. The comment from Pharaoh in the comment section is very vivid: it’s not a takeoff, it’s an engine swap. The infrastructure is upgrading, and going forward, it depends on whether the network performance can attract on-chain liquidity and drive actual demand growth for SOL usage. The technical benefits are a slow variable.
The market reaction is very muted, with SOL up slightly by 0.34%. Bitcoin is still waiting for the FOMC outcome.
Last night, Bitcoin plunged sharply on heavy selling. Now we see if the 80,000 level can hold. If it doesn't hold, expect a deeper pullback, with resistance above at 84,000 to 85,000. Don't chase the rise or sell in panic; set your stop losses properly.

US Stock Market News Analysis: Has the AI faith collapsed overnight? Apple hits new highs against the trend, Meta's negative cash flow triggers a sell-off wave
US stocks faced a massive tech sell-off on Thursday, with the Nasdaq plunging 2.6%, barely holding above 26,000 points, marking the largest single-day drop since June; the S&P 500 fell 1.2%. Funds clearly shifted from AI growth stocks to defensive sectors.
Meta closed down 6.98%, with Q3 free cash flow recording a negative $2.12 billion, the first quarterly net outflow in over a decade, and announced plans to issue Class C shares to fund AI investments. Nvidia dropped 4.40%, pressured along with the AI chip sector.
Apple rose 1.23% against the trend, with a market cap of $5.08 trillion, narrowing the gap with Nvidia to several hundred billion dollars, becoming the only tech giant among the top twenty traded stocks to gain.
Semiconductors were hit hard: AMD fell 8.10%, Micron 6.26%, SanDisk 8.51%. Moderna plummeted 17.57% after melanoma vaccine data leaked early, showing a 42% reduction in recurrence risk, lower than the previously expected 49%, missing expectations.
Key news points:
Meta's massive capital expenditure sparked concerns over financing and equity dilution, triggering this round of sell-off; the market is re-evaluating the return cycle and sustainability of large tech companies' AI investments.
As the "burning money for growth" story faces scrutiny over returns, investors voted with their feet, choosing the cash flow certainty of Apple over the grand narrative of AI plays.Avoid touching old $BAT coins as much as possible; once the project teams with fully unlocked tokens sell them all, there will be no more price pumps afterward. A large-scale position swap has once again drawn the market's attention to the capital battle between BTC and $ETH.
According to provided data, a whale sold about 1,847.3 $BTC worth approximately $159 million within 11 days and accumulated 63,731 ETH. The related BTC came from HTX, with an average cost of about $95,434.
The most controversial aspect of this operation is that when Bitcoin fell below $81,000 and market panic intensified, this whale chose to convert a large amount of BTC into ETH.
Does this mean he thinks Bitcoin is no longer worth holding?
But at least this reminds everyone: being optimistic about the crypto market does not mean you have to put all your chips on Bitcoin. #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #SpaceX业绩大增,与特斯拉合并能否推进? #MetaQ3营收超预期,巨额AI投入引发担忧 All the Paw Patrol teams, come quickly, or it's going to crash badly
Last night’s US stock closing prices: Dow Jones was up, Nasdaq fell 2.6%. Same market, two different worlds.
The ones taking the hit are all familiar faces. Meta dropped 7%, even though revenue exceeded expectations; the problem is the terrifying AI investment. The market now doesn’t care how much you earn. Micron fell 6.3%, storage chips were hit across the board. Tesla’s earnings showed gross margin recovery and positive cash flow, yet it still dropped 3 points.
This isn’t a crash, it’s a relocation. The Dow being up means money hasn’t left the stock market; it’s moving from tech to old economy. A real crash wouldn’t leave you a door with red numbers.
The chain reaction started this morning: China’s A-shares fell 1.2%, Hong Kong stocks were up. Gold briefly broke 4000 during the session. Bitcoin’s lowest last night was 8.09, the 80,000 level was hit again but still hasn’t broken.
Ultimately, what’s falling this round isn’t stocks, but the phrase "AI sure-win." Meta’s earnings report put the bill on the table: so much money burned, what’s the return? Nobody dared ask before, now everyone is asking.
The crypto circle has actually become the resilient one. When tech stocks fell 7 points, Bitcoin only dropped a bit over one point, defending 80,000 repeatedly, and its gold content is still rising.
Next week on the 27th and 28th, the FOMC meeting will be held. 92.8% of people bet on a pause in rate hikes. Reinforcements are on the way; it’s just a matter of how much faith the AI bill will burn.
Is everyone panicking about tech stocks or crypto now?
#MetaQ3营收超预期,巨额AI投入引发担忧 $META $BTC $ETH Today, while reviewing futures data, I saw a rather strange scene. The 24-hour price of $DOGE dropped nearly 3%, and the RSI plunged directly to 28, deep into the oversold zone. The market looks pretty bleak. But surprisingly, the funding rate is negative, about -0.0049%.
What does a negative funding rate mean? It means that those shorting not only hope the price falls but also have to pay interest to the longs every day out of their own pockets. For shorts to push the price down to this extent and still have to pay to maintain their positions is quite a contradictory situation in trading. If they were confident in pushing the price lower, the funding rate would have turned positive long ago, with longs begging shorts not to leave.
What’s even more subtle is that the long-short account ratio dropped from 3.24 to 2.77, wiping out a batch of long accounts within a day. Retail investors were shaken out, and the funding rate didn’t turn positive, indicating this drop looks more like passive deleveraging rather than an active attack initiated by shorts.
The price is now at 0.07956, still grinding below 0.08. Shorts are bearing the negative funding rate pressure to push down; the longer they hold, the higher their cost. This time, Trump has pulled out the Cold War-era Defense Production Act, designating oil exploration, refining, pipelines, storage, and terminals as critical national defense resources, effectively giving the energy supply side a green light through administrative means.
But the problem is, this is not a magic cure. While approvals can be accelerated, drilling, refinery expansion, and equipment deployment all take time—they are slow variables and cannot ease the current supply tightness in the short term.
This round of oil price surge is driven more by geopolitical sentiment and actually diverges from the real supply and demand fundamentals—the rise is driven by panic, not demand. This distinction is very important.
For high-volatility assets like Bitcoin, the transmission chain is not in crude oil itself but in interest rate expectations. High oil prices keep inflation expectations elevated, delaying rate cuts, which puts pressure on risk asset valuations first. So recently, it has been following macro sentiment more closely, while on-chain narratives have taken a back seat.
Next, watch three signals: whether oil prices can fall from their highs, how inflation data trends, and whether interest rate expectations loosen again. Also, see if administrative capacity expansion truly translates into permits and project starts. Only if oil prices fall and inflation cools can risk appetite recover; conversely, the longer oil prices remain high, the harder it is to lift the pressure. #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #MetaQ3营收超预期,巨额AI投入引发担忧 #存储芯片股再度下跌,AI投资回报担忧加剧 $BTC $ETH $CL Conclusion first: Today (Friday) is very likely not a "last day" definitive bottom-fishing signal, but more like a technical correction after an emotional low point, rather than a trend reversal. Gold, A-shares, and Bitcoin all fell simultaneously, with the core trigger being the Middle East situation pushing up oil prices → inflation concerns intensifying → indiscriminate sell-off of both risk and safe-haven assets; Ethereum's rebound is a short-term correction following an oversell and stabilization alongside tech stocks. In the current "bloodbath" phase, the first rule to avoid losing money is not to catch a falling knife and not to heavily bet on a single-day reversal. Why is everything falling? This round of decline has a common macro trigger chain: Middle East situation escalates → oil prices surge → inflation expectations rise → Fed rate cut expectations are dashed → funds withdraw from various assets. Specifically for each market: · Gold: Rising oil prices exacerbate inflation concerns, putting pressure on precious metals; meanwhile, safe-haven funds flow into U.S. Treasuries, causing gold to be sold off. COMEX gold briefly fell below the $4000 mark. · A-shares: Nearly 5,000 stocks fell, with the ChiNext Index dropping over 4%. On the surface, tech stocks are dragging down the market, but the deeper reason is "longs killing longs" within the market, fragile sentiment during the Q3 earnings window, compounded by weakness transmission from Hong Kong stocks. · Bitcoin: The oil price surge strengthens expectations that "interest rates will remain high," pressuring risk assets; meanwhile, concentrated liquidations of leveraged long positions (about $441 million liquidated in 24 hours, with longs accounting for 90%) amplified the decline. Why did Ethereum rebound? Ethereum's rebound is not an independent strength but a short-term correction following tech stocks' stabilization. The Nasdaq rebound briefly boosted risk appetite.$TSLA
Profit under pressure, cash flow turning positive, which side of the financial report should be focused on?
In the Q3 report released on October 21, Tesla's operating cash flow was $6.263 billion, capital expenditures were $4.732 billion, and free cash flow was $1.531 billion; net profit attributable to common shareholders was $787 million. Cash flow is operating cash flow minus capital expenditures and is not equal to net profit.
Cash improvement reduces short-term financing constraints, but it is also necessary to distinguish between operational efficiency and investment pacing. If project expenditures are postponed, the single-quarter cash improvement may not be sustainable.
If gross profit, operating cash flow, and capacity fulfillment improve together subsequently, the growth quality is more credible; if cash improvement mainly relies on reducing investments while revenue stagnates, long-term growth expectations should be lowered.BTC is building a sell wall at 81,400, ETH is partying on the short sellers' grave — at 12:30, who's putting on a show?
The long position meat grinder is running, while ETFs and whales are quietly arbitraging through the back door. In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $441 million, with longs accounting for 90%. BTC alone contributed $118 million in liquidations, with longs making up 95.1%. But on-chain, on the other side: since October 1, 40 new wallets have withdrawn 9,458 BTC from Wintermute, worth $771.5 million. Lookonchain directly labels this as “whales accumulating.” The price is being suppressed by a sell wall at 81,400, yet large funds are withdrawing coins — in the short term, leverage is bleeding, not chips dispersing $BTC
Shorts were just liquidated, OG whales and ETFs are sabotaging. OKEx posts mention $269 million liquidated network-wide in the past 24 hours, with shorts accounting for $190 million. Technically: The 1-hour ADX reaches 33.90, indicating a clear downtrend strength; the buy-sell depth ratio of the top five levels is only 0.33, with overwhelming selling pressure. Once $2,360 is broken, $2,300 becomes the next critical support to watch.
However, a notable marginal easing has appeared on the macro side. Brent crude surged to $113.5, Middle East oil tanker attacks continue to escalate, yet the 10-year US Treasury yield has fallen below 5%. Safe-haven buying and a sharp drop in AI stocks have pushed funds back into bonds. The rise in oil prices failed to continue driving rate expectations; some traders have even pushed the next rate hike pricing from December to January next year. This is an underestimated breathing room for zero-yield assets.
On-chain signals: In the past 48 hours, exchange ETH reserves have dropped sharply by 170,000 coins; 133 whale addresses have increased holdings by over 426,000 ETH; institutions sold nearly $159 million BTC and swapped for about 64,500 ETH within 11 days. Although ETFs saw a net outflow of $111 million yesterday, there was a sign of a single-day positive inflow on the 21st. The signal has not yet formed a trend but indicates supply contraction.
If $2,355–$2,360 holds, there is a short-term condition for organized recovery under the supply contraction narrative; but if $2,448 is not reclaimed, the bearish technical structure will not truly reverse.

Guidance $44–46, but using the company's own revenue/GM/expense median to reverse calculate about 46.4, the guidance itself is conservative; EPS for the past four quarters exceeded the guidance median by +25%/+80%/+94%/+53%, with the smallest time still +24.6%. Additionally, the guidance is based on 155M shares, while Q1 still has $15.5 billion in buyback authorization unused—each reduction of 1 million shares adds about +$0.30. NAND contract prices increased quarter-over-quarter by +1015% in Q3 and +1520% in Q4 (TrendForce), enterprise-level SSDs are still accelerating.
Risks include spot prices dropping 6.5% over four weeks and weak consumer demand: if revenue is only $10.4–10.5 billion and GM 83–83.5%, EPS would fall to around 45. There is a puzzling point that I want to highlight separately.
In the past three days, about $1.07 billion has flowed into the US spot Bitcoin ETF, and October has turned from net outflow to net inflow. But BTC hasn't gone up; instead, it dropped from near 85,000 to around 81,100.
Money is coming in, but the price is falling. I usually don't dismiss this kind of divergence as noise.
What I care more about is where it is currently standing. Glassnode has drawn the average cost line of the US spot ETF around 81,000 to 81,500, and now it is exactly stuck on this line. Institutions are buying above, and the cost line is holding underneath, looking like a test of who is stronger.
Of course, I might be overthinking. If in the next few days the ETF turns to net outflow and the daily candle closes steadily below 81,000, then I'll put away the "institutional bottom support" theory for now.
Next, we will watch two things: whether this cost line can hold, and what the Federal Reserve says on Monday and Tuesday next week. If it holds, it means sentiment hasn't caught up with the funds; if it breaks, the quality of this rebound needs to be reassessed.

#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? $BTC fell below 81,000, evaporating $120 billion, and the group chat was full of wails. But I saw a piece of data that I think is worth discussing:
ETF net inflows have continued for three consecutive days, totaling $1.08 billion, with BlackRock's IBIT alone bringing in $235 million in a single day.
Institutions are buying, but prices are falling. What does this indicate? The selling pressure likely comes from leveraged liquidations and retail panic, not from any fundamental issues. If it were truly a macro collapse, ETF funds should be fleeing as well, but they are not.
The Middle East news actually came out on the 21st, and whether "Trump approved it" has not been confirmed yet. Using an unconfirmed military plan as a reason to dump the market feels more like an excuse for the decline.
Regarding the Federal Reserve, it is very likely to hold steady in October; the real focus should be on December. Saying there is "pre-meeting panic" doesn't align with the timeline.
The fear index is at 14, indicating extreme fear. This is the position where people are most likely to get cut at the bottom.
So what I want to ask is:
If ETF inflows haven't stopped and institutions are still buying, is this round of decline really due to macro deterioration, or is it just leverage being cleared? At the 80,000 level, do you think it can hold?
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? $ETH JPMorgan has put an "official price tag" on BTC: 10% annualized
In JPMorgan's 31st Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions, Bitcoin was included for the first time: baseline scenario annualized return of 10%, bear market -9.7%, bull market +17%, with volatility estimated at 55%. But don't rush to call for institutional entry: it was not included in any model portfolio, and is positioned as a "speculative asset, a hedge against monetary easing." The significance of this document lies not in the numbers, but in the stance: the world's largest bank has started pricing BTC using the same framework it uses for long-term assumptions on stocks and bonds. From "no touch" to "price tagging and watching," the gap in between is compliance and time. In the long run, this is more valuable than any trading call. #摩根大通首次将比特币纳入长期收益预测 $BTC Meta’s 26% year-over-year Q3 revenue growth to $64.601 billion has yet to ease investor concerns. With AI infrastructure commitments approaching $825 billion, the timeline for generating returns is becoming a critical balance-sheet concern, particularly as CDS spreads have widened to 116 basis points. The 7% decline in shares signals that investors are looking for a more convincing path from massive AI investments to sustainable financial returns.
#AlphabetQ3CloudAndAI Three major tokens fell together around midnight, yet the uniform red hides three different stories about where capital is positioned. $BTC slipped below 82,000 with a 3.32% decline, $ETH dropped 4.36%, and $DOGE led the losses. As long as the whales control the majority of the circulating supply, they can pump the price as high as they want. Going long won't feel comfortable either, because a crash can happen in an instant. Just like the previous DOS coin, which had a similar circulation and market cap, it was pumped 200% within 2 hours, then in a single 15-minute candle, it dropped from a 200% gain to a 30% loss. First, it pumped to blow out the shorts, then it crashed to stop out the longs. During the pump, an extreme situation occurred where neither long nor short positions could be opened, only closing positions was possible, as the whales absorbed all the chips.October has once again become a bleeding month for Dogecoin. In October 2025, DOGE fell from $0.27 to $0.11; this October, the price dropped from $0.105 to $0.078. With declines in the same month for two consecutive years, the "October curse" has started to circulate among holders.
Looking closely at last year's chart, the decline was not a straight line. On October 10, DOGE closed at $0.19316, rebounded to $0.20779 on October 12, giving holders a window to reduce positions, then selling pressure returned and the price continued to test new lows. This year's script is simpler: no decent rebound, a steady decline throughout the month.
There is realistic logic behind the curse. October is a dense window for Federal Reserve meetings and U.S. Treasury issuances; when dollar liquidity tightens, high-volatility assets are sold off first; at quarter-end, institutional portfolio adjustments lower risk appetite, and leveraged funds engage in chained liquidations in a weak market, amplifying the drop. The crypto market lacks earnings seasons as a safety net; sentiment itself is the pricing factor.
Of course, two years of data do not establish an ironclad rule; historically, October has also seen gains. Seasonality is more about probability than fate—worth noting, not superstition. For $DOGE holders, October's significance is not a signal to liquidate but a reminder: reduce leverage and allow enough room for volatility. Two "Bitcoin companies" have taken two different paths
In the same week, these two approaches side by side are particularly interesting. Strive continues to go All in: it increased its holdings by 4,045 coins in one go, with a total holding of 36,818 coins, rising to the fourth largest among listed companies. The industry veteran Strategy only bought 267 coins worth $22.1 million in the past week but repurchased its own preferred stock STRC for a total of $193.1 million — a total of $459 million repurchased in Q4, more than six times the amount spent on buying coins, with a total holding of 848,517 coins and not a single one sold. To translate: one is accelerating on the path of hoarding coins, while the other is using buybacks to stabilize its stock price and credit. BTC is at the 81K level, and institutional disagreements are much greater than those of retail investors. #Strive大额增持,Strategy回购规模超买币 $BTC I just checked the long-short ratio of ETH perpetual contracts on OKX, which surged to 3.03 this morning. It hasn't been this high for several days.
This means that in ETH perpetual accounts, about three out of four are long. It hasn't dropped much by noon either.
At first, I thought ETH was rising and everyone was chasing it. But looking at the price, it has been grinding down since yesterday morning, dropping more than 3%. Meanwhile, the same segment of positions actually increased by about 36,000 coins.
The big money hasn't followed. The top 5% of accounts by position size have a long-short ratio of 0.84, leaning short.
So on the ETH side, the price keeps falling but more longs are piling in, mostly small accounts, while the big money is still on the other side. With such a squeeze, I don't think it will hold long. If by this time tomorrow the OKX ETH ratio is still above 2.8, then I will admit I underestimated this group.
Just to reconcile, I said yesterday that if the BTC ratio dropped below 1.2, I was wrong. At noon today it was 2.17, no touch, so I'll keep that statement for now.Let's start with a reality check: when you see new wallets withdrawing coins and immediately shout "whale accumulation," I think the evidence is still lacking. According to Lookonchain monitoring, since October 1, 40 newly created wallets have cumulatively withdrawn 9,458 $BTC from the market maker Wintermute, worth about $771.5 million. The numbers are large, but I remain cautious about taking this directly as a bullish signal.
My main concerns are twofold: new wallets don't necessarily mean new funds, and 40 addresses don't equal 40 independent buyers; if it's just one entity splitting custody, the buying scale can be easily overestimated. Also, withdrawals from a market maker only indicate asset transfers, not that these coins were just bought on the market. If it involves inventory allocation or settlement, counting the transfer amount as new demand misinterprets the fund flow as trading direction.
Of course, the bulls could be right, and I won't be bullish without reason. If these addresses continue to have net inflows, hold long-term, and more evidence supports independent buyers consistently accumulating, I will increase my confidence in the accumulation judgment. For now, I prefer to put this on the watch list. Regarding this news, are you bullish or bearish? Share your reasons: do you value withdrawal scale more, or wallet ownership and subsequent destination?Ethereum is weakly oscillating around $2,370, with short-term technical signals leaning bearish, but some price-direction-inconsistent events are happening beneath the surface.
Technically: The 1-hour ADX reaches 33.90, indicating a clear downtrend strength. The buy-sell depth ratio of the top five levels is only 0.33, with overwhelming selling pressure. Once $2,360 is breached, $2,300 becomes the next critical support to watch.
However, there is a notable marginal easing on the macro side. Brent crude surged to $113.5, and attacks on Middle Eastern oil tankers continue to escalate, yet the 10-year US Treasury yield has fallen below 5%. Safe-haven buying and a sharp drop in AI stocks have pushed funds back into bonds. The rise in oil prices failed to continue driving rate expectations, with some traders even pushing the next rate hike pricing from December to January next year. This represents an underestimated breathing room for zero-yield assets.
On-chain signals: Exchange ETH reserves dropped sharply by 170,000 ETH within 48 hours, 133 whale addresses increased holdings by over 426,000 ETH, and institutions sold nearly $159 million BTC in 11 days, swapping for about 64,500 ETH. Although ETFs saw a net outflow of $111 million yesterday, there was a sign of a single-day positive inflow on the 21st. The signal has not yet formed a trend but indicates supply contraction.
If $2,355–$2,360 holds, there is a short-term condition for organized repair under the supply contraction narrative; but if $2,448 is not reclaimed, the bearish technical structure will not truly reverse.
Overall, always go long, always be moved to tears Alpenglow has been live for two days, SOL hasn't risen, but the script isn't broken
First, clarify a phenomenon that's easy to misread: around the time of the upgrade activation, the on-chain TPS reading temporarily "dropped"—this wasn't a malfunction, but a change in the statistical method after vote transactions moved off-chain; 150 milliseconds is the design target, and we need to wait for real test data to confirm. In the past two days, SOL has followed the market from 107 down to around 104. My position entered at 101.5 still has a floating profit of over two points, with a stop loss at 98 untouched, so I’m holding. The upgrade's benefits are not reflected in the candlestick chart but in the ecosystem: faster block production means the real test in the coming weeks is whether application experience can keep up and whether on-chain activity data can pick up. The positive effect being realized is just the starting gun. #Solana完成Alpenglow升级,生态应用迎性能提升 $SOL $BTC Today's market summary in one sentence: It's no longer about rising or falling together; money is choosing sides.
First, the market situation, four coins, four faces
$BTC — false breakout, real tug-of-war.
It surged to 84800 but couldn't hold, then pulled back to 81600, wiping out all rebound gains. This pattern is more frustrating than a direct drop. Why? Because it gives you hope, then takes it away. The 82500 level is no longer an ordinary technical point; Wintermute and several market makers are watching it closely. Options market makers have piled up large positions between 82000–85000. For every 1% rise, they mechanically sell 1500 $BTC to hedge, effectively welding a steel plate on the ceiling. The 80,000 level below is a hard bone to chew, but if 82500 can't be reclaimed, don't talk to me about a rebound—that's a downtrend continuation. We must see support at 80,000 in the next couple of days; if not, 70,000 is in sight.
$ETH — staking locked up in vain.
At 2400, some in the group call it an iron bottom, others say it's fragile—both are right. Staking volume has indeed hit a record, with 43–44 million $ETH locked on-chain, accounting for 36% of circulating supply. BitMine alone has locked 86% of its holdings. But look closely: supply is tightening desperately, while demand is fleeing. In October, $ETH ETFs saw a net outflow of nearly $1.1 billion, with BlackRock's ETHA being the main pressure source. The 15 million net inflow on October 21 only stemmed the bleeding, not cured the illness. Chips are thinning, but buyers haven't come; this is $ETH's most awkward spot now. If $BTC stabilizes and $ETH remains weak, it's not a "catch-up rally" but funds temporarily unwilling to add exposure.
$SOL — technical god mode, price playing dead.
Alpenglow mainnet launched on October 21, confirming a reduction from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds—Solana's most hardcore underlying transformation ever, not just patchwork. The result? Whales dumped 240,000 $SOL worth $25 million on exchanges within 24 hours, pushing the price from 120 down to 104. On-chain data is absurdly strong: DEX 24-hour volume $2 billion, TVL $5.9 billion, stablecoins $15–16 billion, daily active addresses in the millions. Fundamentals are soaring, price is kneeling. Historically, such divergence has only two outcomes: a golden pit or an abyss. 100–101 is a triple resonance support; if broken, don't catch falling knives; if held, then 108 is in play.
$ZEC — don't mistake short squeeze for resilience.
$ZEC surged from 193 to 1690, nearly 9x, then retraced 33% in three weeks to 1125, and today rallied to 1276. Looks like privacy narrative is returning, right? Funding rates are negative. This means shorts are paying longs—a classic short squeeze structure—not because everyone suddenly believes in privacy, but because shorts can't hold and are being squeezed out. The NU7 upgrade on November 5 is a real catalyst, but the monthly chart is still down; sharp rallies burn out fast. It can withstand market dips, meaning money is still inside; but if it quickly gives back gains in the next days, this short-term rotation ends. Resilience is judged by support after pullbacks, not single-day gains.

News: Macro sets the ceiling, not the floor
At the October FOMC, once Waller shut up, the probability of a rate hike in October dropped from over 25% to below 15%, with a more than 70% chance of no change. Sounds like good news, right? But don't celebrate too soon. Rates are already at 3.75%–4.00% from September hikes, CPI is still 3.7%, and the December hike rope is still hanging around the neck. Macro is now doing "not pushing down," not "lifting up."
Two more pieces of news, separated from crypto by a layer but cutting deep.
Meta's Q3 revenue was 64.6 billion, up 26% YoY, beating expectations; Muse AI users surpassed 10 million, stock rose after hours. The market accepts the story "ads fund AI," not "AI profits soon." What about storage chips? Philadelphia Semiconductor plunged 6.72% in one day, SanDisk down 8.51%, Seagate down 7.86%. The core question: can AI capital expenditure returns keep up with costs? One is accepted, the other judged. The difference? Meta has ad cash flow backing, chip stocks only have narratives.
Apply this logic back to crypto, exactly the same. $BTC has ETF buying and market maker structure backing it; altcoins only have narratives. Funds concentrating at the top is no accident; risk appetite is shrinking. So don't rush to call altcoin season; first see if $BTC can reclaim 82500.
In summary:
$BTC watches for support at 80,000, $ETH watches if funds return, $SOL watches if 100 breaks, $ZEC watches if gains are quickly given back.
Do you think 80,000 support will hold this time? Is $ETH 2400 an iron bottom or fragile? Debate in the comments; I'll be watching and replying. If you find this useful, please like. I don't know if OKX will promote this, but I'll definitely be in the comments tonight answering your questions.

#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #MetaQ3营收超预期,巨额AI投入引发担忧 #存储芯片股再度下跌,AI投资回报担忧加剧 $CORE Today, let's not talk about price. Let's discuss a more fundamental question: What exactly are you "selling" when you hold CORE?
The community argues daily about "10,000x" or "going to zero." But both sides are actually debating the same thing: price. There's one perspective almost no one has seriously analyzed: What role does the CORE token play within its economic system?
Clarifying the answer to this question is more useful than watching a hundred K-lines.
First layer: The token is "selling" time—but the pricing power of time is not in the hands of token holders.
CORE has a total supply of 2.1 billion tokens, with block rewards released linearly over an 81-year cycle, decreasing annually by 3.61%, unlike Bitcoin's four-year halving. Many glance over the 81-year figure, but its real meaning is that the token release endpoint exceeds the investment lifecycle of most holders.
This means inflation is not a one-time "unlock and dump" event but a slow dilution curve measured in decades. The buyback narrative talks about "using ecosystem revenue to buy back CORE to hedge dilution," but the tokens bought back are on a completely different time scale than those released over 81 years.
The token is "selling" time, but the pricing power of time is encoded in the code, not in the roadmap.
Second layer: The token is "selling" a ticket—after CIP-9, its function changed.
This is the most overlooked structural change.
After CIP-9, to earn high multiple BTC yields, you must lock CORE; the weight of CORE has been elevated. Before this, CORE was more like an "ecosystem companion token"—you staked BTC, and CORE was just one of the settlement units. Now it has become the admission credential to BTCFi yields: those staking BTC who want higher returns must hold and lock CORE.
This is a mechanistic demand, not a hype-driven demand. Demand no longer fully depends on "optimists buying" but is bound by ecosystem rules as a hard necessity.
But there is a harsh symmetry here: mechanisms can create demand but also create exit friction. When CORE's price falls and yields no longer cover the opportunity cost of locking, the "ticket" becomes "handcuffs." The gap between design intent and actual effect spans an entire market cycle.
Third layer: The token is "selling" an option from an anonymous team.
Core DAO has no public founders. The core team is mostly anonymous; only a few "initial contributors" like Rich Rines and Brendon Sedo are publicly visible.
The governance roadmap outlines three stages: off-chain majority voting, parameter-level on-chain voting, and full on-chain governance. No timeline is given.
Putting these together, what do token holders actually own? They hold a claim to system revenues designed by an anonymous team, governed at a pace controlled by that anonymous team, and with power transfer timing decided by that anonymous team.
This is not to say anonymity is necessarily bad. Bitcoin's founder is also anonymous. But Bitcoin has no 81-year release curve, no 69 million ghost tokens, and no governance roadmap where the team decides when to decentralize.
You are not buying a "share of a decentralized protocol." You are buying an option issued by an anonymous team with an undecided decentralization timetable.
Fourth layer: The token is "selling" a position in the sector—but that position is being redefined.
The BTCFi sector's current competitiveness needs no elaboration. Stacks has native BTC yields and legitimacy, Babylon has restaking narratives and institutional preference, Rootstock is a veteran sidechain.
What is CORE's positioning? "Bitcoin's only independent L1 public chain," "all-around infrastructure faction."
This positioning holds narratively. But at the capital level, institutions research sector opportunities and architectures, which does not equal institutions buying CORE tokens. Sector heat flows to Stacks and Babylon; CORE gets "researched" share, not "allocated" share.
The token sells a sector position, but the liquidity premium of this position is being absorbed by competitors.
So back to the question: What is CORE "selling"?
It is selling an 81-year dilution curve, an admission ticket tied to BTC yields, a system revenue claim with an anonymous team's undecided governance timetable, and a sector position being repriced amid BTCFi competition.
None of these four things can be falsified or confirmed next quarter. This explains why the price hovers around $0.02—the market sees these factors, but their realization cycle exceeds the patience boundary of most capital.
The 10,000x narrative and zero-fear panic are both mispricings of "time." The former assumes realization will happen quickly; the latter assumes it will never happen. The truth lies between: the realization path exists, but its length is jointly determined by the anonymous team's governance pace and the 81-year code curve, not by community sentiment.
Those watching price are betting on when others will come. Those watching these four layers are calculating how long they are willing to pay option premiums for.
$CORE Meta’s 26% Q3 revenue growth to $64.601B does not settle the question investors are asking. Commitments of roughly $825B for AI infrastructure turn execution time into a balance-sheet issue, especially as CDS spreads widened to 116 bps. The 7% share decline suggests markets want a clearer path from capacity to returns.
#MetaAISpendingConcerns 💻 I usually treat news as code review first: What is the input? According to Lookonchain monitoring, since October 1st, 40 newly created wallets have cumulatively withdrawn 9,458 $BTC from the market maker Wintermute, worth about $771.5 million.
My judgment: This flow is worth tracking, but directly interpreting it as "whales buying is bullish" is not logically sound yet. On-chain records can show where the coins were transferred to, but cannot confirm when the purchase happened based solely on the transfer, nor can they confirm who the buyer is.
There are two potential bugs here: a new address does not equal a new user, the 40 wallets may belong to the same entity; withdrawing coins from a market maker does not equal new buying demand, if it involves custody adjustments or settlements, then using this to infer increased market demand would be misleading. These are just possibilities; the data has not provided answers yet.
If it were me, I would change the judgment criteria to: continue to observe whether these addresses subsequently consolidate or return funds, and whether there is independent information to confirm the nature of the transactions. For ordinary users, separating "transfer" and "purchase" first can help avoid a narrative pitfall.
Please help me review: To judge this withdrawal as new demand, which piece of evidence would you most want to supplement—wallet ownership, subsequent flow, or transaction nature? Where else might my logic have flaws?Surviving through noon, as long as the account isn't hit, it's considered a good start 😌
$BTC is lingering around 81592, $ETH sliding down to 2402, while $SOL is holding up better, only dropping 1.07%, staying above 104. The drop itself isn't the most glaring issue.
What really stands out are the fees.
$SOL peaked at 0.01%, $BTC at 0.0082%, $ETH at 0.0077%, all positive. Despite the drop, the bulls are still paying protection fees to the bears. Last night, the whole network liquidated 436 million, with longs making up nearly 90%, over 98,000 people were taken out, the worst single long was liquidated at 7.92 million contracts at 81661, completely buried alive. But the surviving bulls haven't fled; they're still adding money to the table.
These people won't give up until the bitter end.
The more stubborn the positive numbers, the more it shows that yesterday's purge didn't kill off the bulls. The fuel for the next wave of liquidations isn't coming from the bears smashing the market, but from the bulls themselves continuing to pay.
Options are the same story. $BTC call open interest is near 60%, $ETH even more crowded, over 61%. Those betting on a rise off-exchange and those just hit on-exchange are the same group. The direction is heavily skewed to one side; the downside is full of fuel.
But there's a hidden line many aren't watching. Whales are accumulating against the trend; in the past month, addresses holding between 10 and 10,000 $BTC have increased their holdings by nearly 89,000 $BTC, while spot ETFs have seen net outflows since October. Whales are buying, ETFs are withdrawing, and futures bulls are holding on. These three forces are pulling in different directions, causing the market to stall at this level. It's not that no one is buying, it's that the buyers aren't in the futures market.
Sentiment is also retreating. The Fear & Greed Index was still at 68 (greedy) yesterday, but today it dropped straight to 50 (neutral). The single-day 18-point drop is much more honest than $BTC's candlestick.
My own short positions are still open, with floating profits intact. It's not greed; until the fees turn negative, I don't really believe this level can bounce cleanly. Short squeeze requires shorts to be crowded first, but right now the longs are crowded, the direction is reversed.
Tonight at 21:45 US time, the preliminary October PMI will be released, followed by the final Michigan consumer sentiment and inflation expectations at 22:00. These two data points hang over the market. Bulls wanting to counterattack must first get past these data hurdles.
Not getting hit is winning. The rest is up to the market. Wishing everyone a day without losses 🍀

The more storage stocks have surged before, the lower the margin for error for this earnings report, numbers speak. #SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? $SKHYNIX $BTC On October 19, Bitcoin spot ETF net inflow was $526.7 million.
On October 20, it was $23.2 million.
Within one day, a drop of 95.6%.
BTC is now stuck oscillating between 81,000 and 82,000, unable to reach 85,000 upwards, and unwilling to break below 80,000 downwards.
This is not a market trend. Everyone is waiting for an answer that hasn't happened yet.
Glassnode clearly defines BTC's current situation as a box between $80,000 and $87,000.
The lower edge of the box at $80,000 is not just a round number.
It corresponds to the average holding cost of ETFs and listed companies.
To translate: above $80,000, institutions are still showing profits on paper. Below $80,000, institutions start to feel the pain.
Buyers are re-accumulating near $80,000, but at a much smaller scale than the peak. Sellers? There are order book sell orders and liquidation clusters stacked at $85,000 and $87,000.
BTC now is like a mouse trapped in a cage. $80,000 is the floor, $85,000 is the ceiling. Whoever breaks first defines the direction.
Three variables determine which way the cage opens.
Variable one: the daily close at $80,000.
Not the wick, but the close. A wick dipping below $80,000 and then pulling back doesn't count. If the daily close is below $80,000, sentiment will jump from "wait and see" directly to "panic," and the average holders of ETFs and treasuries will all enter loss territory. The next stop is the True Market Mean.
Variable two: oil prices.
Brent is currently around $108 to $110, with Saudi attacks and ongoing US-Iran risks pushing oil prices to the highest since May this year. US officials have hinted that after the midterm elections, military strike plans against Iran are already on the table.
Every day oil stays high, the expectation for rate hikes suppresses BTC's rebound for another day.
Variable three: the October 28 FOMC.
Reuters survey: 94% of economists expect no change in October, but 100% expect a rate hike in December.
The market has already priced in this scenario. So the real risk is not "whether to hike," but whether there is an unexpected phrase in the statement. If Waller casually says "inflation is improving," the market will loosen itself; if he says "action must be taken in December," this cage will be smashed downward immediately.
First, between $80,000 and $85,000, do not chase the rally or panic sell.
Near $80,000, watch if the buy side is strong. A strong buy side is the defense at the lower edge of the box; a weak buy side means the next stop is the long liquidity sweep zone at $79,000.
Near $85,000, watch if the sell pressure is strong. Jiang Zhuoer is shorting at $84,650 with a stop loss at $85,500 — this is not to tell you to copy the trade, but to give you a reference anchor point for when the short logic fails. If it breaks above $85,500, it means the sell pressure at the upper edge of the box has been eaten up, and shorts should admit their mistake.
Second, before the FOMC, do not heavily bet on direction.
ETF funds dropped sharply from $500 million to $20 million, then returned to $528 million on the third day. This kind of fluctuation is not a trend but chaotic position swings before an event. Betting on this swing is not a judgment but luck.
Third, keep a bullet in the chamber.
If it really falls to around $79,000 to sweep liquidity, that will be after the FOMC. Filling your position now means you hand your chips to luck before the answer is revealed.
Before the FOMC, the market is waiting for an answer that doesn't exist.
Economists have already priced in no change in October and a hike in December. All your short-term trades now are essentially guessing which words Waller will use.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC Just put the baby to sleep and picked up my phone to see $BTC breaking through $82,000, and my drowsiness faded a bit 🍼. But after spending so much time with the baby, when I see the word "breakthrough," I tend to pause and not get excited right away.
This market data comes from Hyperliquid perpetual contract public data: BTC is currently at $82,016, down 1.09% in 24 hours, with a trading volume of about $3.094 billion and an open interest of about $3.585 billion. The funding rate is 0.0013% per hour, which annualizes to about 11%.
My judgment is: round number levels easily stir emotions, but this alone cannot be taken as confirmation of a market strength reversal. Being above 82,000 and still down for the day is not contradictory. Just looking at the headline is like buying groceries by only looking at "today's special price" without checking the original price next to it. Trading volume and open interest are just current snapshots without comparison over time, so you can't directly conclude that funds are accelerating into the market.
For small investors like me, another thing to consider is the cost basis: with a positive funding rate, longs usually have to pay fees; an 11% annualized rate is not a promised return, and the rate can change. If I consider participating, I would first separate household and emergency funds, then observe whether the level can hold, and not trade away money for baby formula just to stress over watching the market.
For friends who also have kids or work, when you encounter such round number levels, do you set alerts to check later or stick with the market? How do you avoid letting market watching eat into your sleep and family time? After 100 billion in transactions over 100 days, the real question arises
Robinhood Chain's performance after 100 days online is impressive: cumulative trading volume exceeded $100 billion, stock tokens reached 15 billion, and locked value is about 1 billion. But zooming in on the last month: the average daily number of trades dropped from 10.8 million to 6.2 million, a 42% decline, and active addresses decreased by 30%—because subsidies ended at the end of September. This is the key issue: is the traffic driven by the product itself, or by the subsidies? I am optimistic about the long-term prospects of brokerages going on-chain, and stock tokenization is a real trend; but whether growth can continue depends on how many users remain once the incentives are gone. The next 100 days will reveal the true picture. #Robinhood交易业务增长能否延续? $ETH $BTC #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数?
On October 22, the US Nasdaq fell about 2.6%, while the 10-year US Treasury yield dropped to about 4.95%. This reflects a move toward safe-haven assets.
On October 21, BTC ETF had a net inflow of about $525 million, turning to a net outflow of about $382 million on October 22; ETH ETF had a net outflow of about $17.9 million on October 22.
On October 22, oil prices continued to rise due to tensions in the Middle East, while tech stocks clearly adjusted. This suggests that the decline in bond yields likely includes safe-haven buying.
The Federal Reserve will hold the FOMC meeting on October 27–28, with the preliminary US Q3 GDP and September PCE data to be released on October 29.The Starknet vote passed, but STRK actually fell.
The governance vote that closed on Thursday had about 3,200 votes, with 93.52% of voting power supporting research into detaching from Ethereum to become an independent quantum-resistant Layer 1 chain. Participation was the highest in Starknet governance history. StarkWare abstained, and CEO Eli Ben-Sasson said he would start drafting the whitepaper before the weekend, aiming to release a draft in November.
Despite the excitement, the market is cold. Decrypt's price ticker showed $0.053 this morning, down 7.82% in 24 hours. The coin surged past $0.12 intraday on October 9, tripling in 30 days, but has now retraced more than half from its peak. There is also an unlocking of about 127 million tokens on the 15th, which could put significant selling pressure on the market.
Frankly, this vote is just a non-binding poll, with agreement to "research". A binding vote will be needed for an actual migration; for now, the chain remains a Layer 2 on Ethereum. The news was already hyped around October 9, and the outcome is a positive development. Coupled with last night's market drag from US stocks and oil prices, Bitcoin dropped to around 81,000, and CoinGlass reported over $400 million liquidated in 24 hours, 90% of which were long positions. Small coins can't avoid being affected.
On-chain DeFi locked value is only about $168 million, which barely increased in single digits even as the coin price tripled. The narrative is running far ahead of the data. Before the whitepaper is released, STRK will most likely continue to follow market sentiment. $STRK
