"ETF is buying, so why is BTC still waiting?"
$BTC spot ETFs continue to attract capital, indicating that institutional allocation willingness remains, but the price has yet to break upward. The contradiction lies in the fact that ETF buying provides more "bottom support" but does not necessarily equal "breakout fuel."
First, futures hedging may dilute spot demand—institutions buy ETFs while hedging on the futures side, so net long positions do not expand simultaneously. Second, long-term holders take profits in key ranges, increasing selling pressure above. Third, high government bond yields make capital prefer interest-bearing assets, suppressing risk appetite, making it difficult for the crypto market to gain incremental chasing orders. Technically, the $84,500–$85,500 range remains a repeatedly tested resistance zone; without a solid break above, ETF inflows are easily absorbed by selling pressure.
Therefore, ETF capital inflows can support the bottom but do not guarantee an immediate breakout. For BTC to open up space, the resistance zone needs to be absorbed with volume, hedging pressure must weaken, and macro interest rate expectations must improve. Before these three resonate together, consolidation and accumulation are more likely. Can it break through? The key is not "how much flows in" but "who is willing to keep buying above resistance." #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 $IBM has recently been stable with some fluctuations. Its Q3 revenue reached $17.1 billion, a 6% increase on a constant currency basis. The software segment is recovering, with Red Hat hybrid cloud and data businesses strengthening. The full-year free cash flow guidance has been raised, reflecting solid cash flow and stable dividends. However, this quarter's incremental growth includes catch-up orders from previous delays, and the full-year revenue guidance remains at 4%-5%, with a modest upper growth limit. Consulting business growth is weak, and traditional mainframe continues to decline. The proportion of AI-embedded consulting orders is rising, focusing on government and enterprise compliance AI, which is less volatile compared to pure AI targets. Strengths include strong customer stickiness and defensive characteristics; weaknesses are slow transformation pace and difficulty in explosive growth. Going forward, key focus will be on tracking Red Hat's growth and the implementation of enterprise AI orders.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? This rebound looks more like a "short squeeze" rather than a trend reversal 🔥
1. $BTC saw 73,000 liquidations last night, but trading volume dropped by 1.96%, indicating the rise lacks buying follow-through and is mainly driven by shorts being forced to cover; short liquidations totaled 191 million, accounting for 70% 📉. Technically, it is still suppressed by MA20 (83108), RSI is only 45.6; options put volume is more than twice that of calls, the market does not believe in sustainability ⚠️.
2. $ETH is even weaker: liquidation volume even exceeded BTC, shorts account for 65% 🧊. RSI is only 36.3, still far from MA20 (2522); spot buying is also weak, with ETF net outflows exceeding 100 million yesterday, sentiment remains low.
3. $ZEC is relatively bright, up 10% yesterday with 111 million volume on the rise 🚀. The previous three dips were all pulled back, consuming a lot of selling pressure bullets, so last night's rally was lighter. The key is whether it can hold above the 50-day line at 1270; if it holds, 1350 can be targeted 👀. #10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 This rebound continuing from last night is strong, but I don't consider it a trend reversal 🙂. The market liquidity is thin, and when sentiment warms up, a small amount of buying can push prices up exaggeratedly. BTC volatility is suppressed near the 2026 low, trading is light, and the market is waiting for the Federal Reserve decision and midterm elections ⏳. High Beta ETH and XRP have greater elasticity, rising sharply but also pulling back quickly.
BTC 83,651. 80,000 is the boundary between bulls and bears; holding above it still counts as a consolidation bottom; 87,000 is a clear resistance. Glassnode says that top buyers at the end of 2025 are still stuck around 87,700, and the unlocking positions are real selling pressure. If it can't close above 87,000, the rebound is still just a rebound 📉
ETH 2,467. ETH/BTC is slightly stronger but the support is not solid. The US spot ETH ETF has seen a net outflow of $1.08 billion since October, the largest monthly outflow in 2026, indicating insufficient institutional follow-through. 2,500 is the first hurdle; failure to break through means risk of pullback ⚠️
XRP 1.356. Leading gains today, clearly stronger than BTC. Only a firm hold above 1.40 counts as a valid breakout; losing 1.30 likely means this catch-up rally is over 🚀
Low volatility does not mean risk has disappeared; the Federal Reserve and midterm elections are still pending. This position is worth participating in, but don't chase highs; leave some room for error in your position 🙂. Personal opinion, not investment advice. In three trading days, the US spot Bitcoin ETF saw a net inflow of about $1.07 billion. As of 03:43 Beijing time on 10/23, BTC/USDT on OKX was quoted at $81,401.6, with a 24-hour low of $80,924.9, which is even lower than the 10/21 daily close of $84,097.6. Money is coming in, but the price is going down. This is worth a good discussion. #OctoberFOMCApproaching $BTC 【Let's lay out the numbers first】 ETF inflows: According to Farside Investors data, net inflows were $526.7 million on 10/19, $23.2 million on 10/20, and $524.8 million on 10/21, totaling about $1.075 billion over three days, as of US Eastern time 10/21. The full data for 10/22 had not been released at the time of writing. Looking further back: According to Farside's daily data, there was a cumulative net outflow of about $897 million over the 10 trading days from 10/05 to 10/16. In other words, the large inflows over these three days almost just made up for the money that flowed out in the previous two weeks. Price: OKX BTC/USDT spot daily chart, closed at $84,097.6 on 10/21, with a daily high of $84,371.4 on 10/22, and as of 03:43 Beijing time on 10/23, still around $81,400 (dayOne detail made me reassess this market wave: AKE took off with a 239% unrealized gain. How many people are missing out or getting lost chasing highs?
Facing the same market, greed and fear lead to three different logics. This is what’s truly worth watching.
$AKE rocket launch, but don’t be blinded by unrealized gains
20x long on AKE, from 0.0278 to 0.03113, who understands the joy of +239.56%? But seasoned traders know that volume-price divergence after a sharp rise is normal, and high funding rates indicate bulls are holding hard. Strong resistance ahead, if news-driven volume doesn’t pick up, those chasing highs will be the bag holders. The risk of a pullback after a spike is very high. At this position, taking profits in batches is smarter than holding on stubbornly.
$BTC rebound on low volume, easy to be disproved
Don’t just look at the round number resistance, check the support below. Spot buying hasn’t increased, selling pressure hasn’t fully released, the pattern of oscillating downward is hard to change.
$ETH passive follow-up, unstable exchange rate means avoid
ETH has fallen more than BTC, the pain point is the exchange rate. If the exchange rate can’t stabilize, the rebound is fake. Relative weakness will continue. Want to trade the rebound? Wait for the exchange rate to stabilize first.
Divergence is more worth attention than direction. AKE watches sentiment ebb, BTC watches real money, ETH watches exchange rate. #特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 30,221 bitcoins, about $2.5 billion. Tesla plus SpaceX's holdings are now on the merger negotiation table.
Elon Musk personally confirmed on the SpaceX earnings call that the two companies are discussing a merger, and independent directors have each formed special committees. But the terms have not been agreed upon, and he added: this matter may never be finalized. If it happens, the merged company will become the world's sixth-largest publicly listed bitcoin holder, behind Strategy and Metaplanet.
Don't rush to call it a positive. Looking back: in 2021 Tesla spent $1.5 billion buying bitcoin, but in 2022, due to liquidity shortages, sold about 75%. SpaceX is the opposite, with a bitcoin holding cost of about $661 million and has barely moved. But its Q3 capital expenditure was $20 billion, with $16 billion invested in AI infrastructure, and Q4 guidance is $35 to $40 billion. The aggressive spending is the key point.
The real hurdle is China. China accounts for about 20% of Tesla's revenue, Starlink has no operating license in China, and SpaceX also works with U.S. defense. JPMorgan calls this the "biggest obstacle," with the solution being Tesla's China business converted to local ownership.

There is a detail in Meta's earnings report that is more worth discussing than revenue growth: the company approved the establishment of a new Class C common stock, which has no voting rights and can be used for financing, employee compensation, and acquisitions.
Why now, of all times?
Q3 revenue was $64.6 billion, up 26% year-over-year, but capital expenditures have already reached $34.9 billion, and free cash flow turned negative $2.1 billion. The company expects full-year capital expenditures to reach as high as $145 billion. The advertising business is still growing, and AI is indeed improving recommendations and ad monetization, with the speed of building computing power equally astonishing.
This creates a very real contradiction: AI may make Meta more profitable, but before it pays off, the company needs to put out more and more money. New shares do not mean immediate issuance for cash, but they indicate that management wants to reserve financing tools for large-scale future investments.
Looking at the whole market, the issue is not just Meta. Giants like Microsoft and Google are also competing for computing power, with storage chips, semiconductors, and data center supply chains receiving orders; but if investment growth outpaces revenue growth for a long time, could today's winners become the companies whose valuations get cut first tomorrow?
What I want to know more is: if you hold Meta, would you interpret this move as an early strategic layout, or that the AI race has become so expensive that more financing channels must be prepared? #MetaQ3营收超预期,法律费用与AI支出承压 #存储芯片股反弹,AI扩产与竞争并存 $META $BTC Bitcoin price breaks through $84,000, with $188 million worth of short positions liquidated, but the ETF price has dropped 95%!
Bitcoin price broke through $84,000, reaching about $84,700, with $188 million in short positions evaporated, pushing the Fear and Greed Index from 55 to 63. However, Bitcoin ETF holdings plunged from $526.6 million to $23.2 million in a single trading day.
This rally was driven by short covering, with no real money entering yet. The short-term RSI near 90 also reminds us that the market is very volatile. Taking quick profits is much easier than chasing the peak.
Should you buy the dip or wait for a pullback? Liquidations of 430 million, 100,000 people out: After the double kill of longs and shorts, don't rush to call the bottom
This wave is not a one-sided slaughter, but a double kill of longs and shorts. The price hasn't collapsed, but positions have been wiped out first. $BTC is stuck at 82K, $ETH failed its fourth attempt to break 2400, forming a triple top resistance, and those leveraged bottom-fishers have been washed out first.
The real buyers are ETFs: on April 14 alone, there was a net inflow of 411 million USD, and IBIT was counter-trend increased by institutions. Retail contracts were pushed up, institutions picked up chips in the spot market, showing a clear structural divergence.
Don't rush to call the bottom. The FOMC held steady for the third consecutive time, interest rates at 3.5%—3.75%, with an 8:4 split vote, Powell leaning hawkish, easing earliest in June, and liquidity ceiling still in place. The rebound lacks volume, weekly trading volume is 17% below average, ETH down 20%, funding rates negative, more like short covering.
Near 2197 below ETH, nearly 800 million long positions are stacked for liquidation; breaking this is an accelerator. Don't ask if the bottom has arrived, first ask if you still have bullets after losing 82K once more.
Focus on two points only: 1. BTC volume-backed reclaim of 82K; 2. ETH volume-backed break above 2400.

$BTC saw about $86.57 million liquidated in 24 hours, with shorts accounting for $79.49 million; $ETH had $56.34 million liquidated, with shorts over $43 million; $ZEC had $16.49 million liquidated, 92% of which were shorts, with price near 12%. This is not a bull attack, but shorts forced to close positions 🔥.
The previous week, BTC oscillated around 80,000, funding rates turned negative, and shorting became a crowded consensus. Price compressed between 79,800 and 84,000 with very low volatility, shorts piled up thicker and thicker, just waiting for a trigger 🧨.
The trigger came from SpaceX's earnings report: revenue of $14.58 billion, AI business scaling up, and holding about $1.5 billion in BTC; the "AI + crypto" narrative ignited sentiment. BTC surged to 84,600, sell orders above 84,000 were swept, and nearly $110 million in shorts were liquidated in 4 hours. ETF also helped on the same day: IBIT net inflow of $665 million, total US spot BTC ETF inflow of $527 million, though October's cumulative is still slightly outflow, this was a single-day pulse 💉.
Looking at the price now: daily chart holds above 84,200, with ETF inflows continuing for two more days, the afterglow may persist; if it spikes to 84,600 then falls back, 83,400 is the lifeline—if broken and price falls below 82,500, the rebound momentum dissipates. Its financial report showed impressive revenue, gross margin, and long-term supply agreements, but the market has started to worry about a slowdown in AI capital expenditure pace, putting valuation under pressure. There is a clear split between consumer and enterprise segments: enterprise-level high-capacity flash remains in tight supply with firm pricing; price increases for consumer SSDs, USB drives, and memory cards have been passed on, resulting in weaker retail cost-performance, with only slight discounts during major promotions. The industry has strong cyclical characteristics and high earnings elasticity, but stock price volatility is intense. 📊 Macro
There will be a meeting next Tuesday and Wednesday, now is the silence period, the market can only guess by itself. Fear and greed are still hovering at a high level, but prices keep going down. When emotions and prices clash, I trust the prices first.
My judgment: During the data vacuum period, the market is more honest than the news.
📰 Events
An institution did the math: the spot ETF brought in over one billion USD in three days. But based on historical experience, this speed can't support a steep rebound. Money is coming in, but the momentum is not enough; this is the most heartbreaking sentence tonight.
My judgment: Real money is buying, but the buying posture is slow and steady.
⚠️ SOL's hidden worries
Among the three major mainstreams, only SOL's positions are still increasing against the trend. But the price is falling along with the overall market, completely not keeping up. Positions and prices are at odds; someone must be holding on hard inside.
My judgment: The positions held hard are most afraid of another bearish candle.
🎲 Position game
BTC's liquidation chart has flipped: the bright band above the current price is more eye-catching than below. Sixty percent of the day's liquidations are long positions; bulls are bleeding but still adding positions. The number of long and short accounts is all biased towards long; the bulls are packed full.
My operation: The lights above indicate there is fuel to go up; but don't rush, wait for this wave of bulls below to be cleaned out. I will keep holding that short position, no adding.
In short: Don't be fooled by this small pullback; the real knives are hidden in the positions. Positions are more honest than prices. Bond 3 is expected to open around November 10, with a direct participation threshold of at least 50 BTC and requires approval. The rules remain unchanged: for every 1 BTC entry, an equivalent 5% of STX must be locked simultaneously for half a year. Rewards are paid in BTC, which is always self-custodied on Bitcoin L1, without bridging or wrapping.
The trajectory of the first two rounds is very clear: Bond 1 deposited 230 BTC, Bond 2 doubled to 505 BTC, totaling 735 BTC; the STX staking volume rose from 392 million to 493 million, an increase of over 25%. About 483 BTC of Bond 2 were completed through the stBTC channel of Stacking DAO, accounting for a very high proportion of a single channel. 21Shares, HashKey Cloud, UTXO Management, and Sypher Capital are already involved, and custody integrations with Anchorage, Fireblocks, and Fordefi are also underway.
The core logic is not "how high the yield is," but that the entry qualification itself requires buying STX and locking it. If Bond 3 continues to expand, every additional BTC will be converted into a proportional STX buying pressure plus locked positions in the market, directly compressing circulating chips.

He then added, "And this has been one of my most successful investments." These two sentences together are truly worth reflecting on repeatedly. Even a well-proven successful investment over time can experience such huge price fluctuations. Yet when Munger talked about these, his tone was very calm. For investors currently experiencing the ups and downs of the Chinese stock market, such an experience may be more convincing than any preaching about long-term investment. We all know that investing requires a long-term perspective and maintaining rationality. But when the market fluctuates wildly and paper wealth shrinks significantly, surrounded by conflicting judgments, it is very difficult to truly achieve this. Of course, Munger is not saying that once you buy a company, no matter how much it falls, you should hold on. I believe the essence of this decline is not that Tesla "is failing," but that it "is too frugal." The capital expenditure saved was expected by the market to turn into AI infrastructure orders, but it was pocketed instead, loosening the valuation anchor for risk assets.

@你的爱播Misa @bilibili交易姬 @毓鑫YuXin @皮神⚡Misa后援团 Core judgment: The earnings report shows structural differentiation, with short-term stock price under pressure and volatility; the medium-term direction depends on whether the Robotaxi commercialization milestone can be achieved.
1. Essence of the earnings report: The automotive main business provides a bottom line, but profits are eroded by the AI transformation
Revenue was $28.046 billion, flat year-over-year; GAAP net profit sharply dropped 43% to $787 million. The main drag was operating expenses soaring 39% year-over-year to $4.776 billion, with R&D expenses alone jumping 69% to $2.76 billion, funding FSD, Optimus, and Cybercab. Automotive gross margin (excluding credits) rebounded to 18.1%, and free cash flow turned positive from -$1.09 billion in Q2 to $1.53 billion, both representing real fundamental improvements. However, energy storage business revenue of $2.88 billion was far below the expected $3.91 billion, down 16% year-over-year, constituting another weakness on the revenue side.
2. Why the market is not buying it: The stock price had already rebounded to near $390 before the earnings report, with the positive news of margin improvement priced in advance. The real trigger for the sell-off was the 2026 capital expenditure guidance being lowered from over $25 billion to about $20 billion. The market interpreted this as a possible slowdown in the expansion pace of Robotaxi and Optimus—the capital expenditure is the most direct leading indicator to observe the progress of new businesses. Coupled with Musk not providing substantive progress on the Tesla and SpaceX merger during the call, bulls lack new narrative drivers. #特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 $Core reasons for the sharp drop of CT (Concrete):
1. The rise itself was a short-term speculative bubble from listing on Korean exchanges
CT was listed with KRW trading pairs on Upbit and Bithumb, and was driven up 48% short-term by Korean retail investors. This was a typical bullish rally on listing benefits being realized, which then became a selling window. After the hype subsided, the price naturally returned to normal, a classic case of "good news priced in, then sell-off."
Key point: The platform has large asset scale, but CT is only a governance token, with no share of platform revenue, no dividends, and no claim on protocol assets. Its value lies solely in governance voting rights, so fundamentals cannot support the overvaluation after speculative frenzy.
2. Concentrated token holdings and looming unlocking sell pressure
Total supply is 1 billion tokens; the team and early investors hold 50%, and the foundation holds 15%. These large holdings are scheduled to unlock gradually, allowing low-cost tokens to flow into the secondary market anytime. The market has been pricing in this unlocking sell pressure in advance, so capital is reluctant to hold at high levels long-term.
3. Weak value capture and insufficient token utility
It is an on-chain asset management protocol where platform deposits and fee income go entirely to depositors, with no buyback or dividends for CT holders. Only staking CT grants limited governance rights and fee discounts. Real demand buy orders are weak, and there is no stable, sustained buying support to prop up the token price.
4. Market correlation and overall decline in crypto risk appetite
CT is a small altcoin with high beta. When BTC and Ethereum weaken, capital prioritizes exiting small-cap tokens. With rising market risk aversion, small tokens have poor liquidity, so even small sell orders can trigger sharp price drops.
5. Cooling narrative expectations
The previous hype around "on-chain asset management and institutional-grade DeFi vaults" has faded. Meanwhile, there are no continuously delivered major new features, buybacks and burns, or utility upgrades to support the price, weakening the story's momentum. When I just saw the Hong Kong police report, I was staring blankly at ETH's 15-minute chart. Have you noticed that in a bear market, the most expensive thing is never the coin price, but the illusion of "I thought I could still make a little more"? Last week, over fifty investment scams emerged in Hong Kong within a week, with losses exceeding 30 million HKD. One case involved a retired lady in her sixties who was led by a stranger disguised as an expert to buy USDT and invest in a fake ETH platform. She initially succeeded in small withdrawals, got a taste of it, then deposited twenty times in a row. When she wanted to withdraw money, the other party demanded she pay 7 million in "taxes" first, resulting in a net loss of 4.5 million. My first reaction after reading this was not to curse the scammers, but a chill down my spine—I'm too familiar with this script: first give the candy, then trap the victim, with timing more precise than many traders. What’s truly worth pondering about this case is how it mirrors what the market is trading. Right now, everyone is betting on rate cut expectations and ETF inflows, risk appetite is warming up, and ETH is repeatedly portrayed as the narrative carrier of "ecosystem recovery." But at the same time, offline, the group most easily swayed by stories is being harvested by fake platforms using the same narrative. The hotter the altcoin season sentiment, the higher the conversion rate of such scams, because they ride the tailwind of the real market. In other words, bull market expectations themselves have become the fuel for scams, and this risk is almost unpriced. The more bullish logic still stands: compliance channels are widening, funds are willing to return, ETH’s on-chain activity and institutional buzz are recovering, and as long as BTC doesn’t break key support, the catch-up window for altcoins remains open. The money for Bitcoin ETFs is back, and it's coming back with anger.
SoSoValue: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net inflow of $1.08 billion over three days (Monday $526.6 million, Tuesday $23 million, Wednesday $528 million).
On Wednesday, all funds poured into the two giants: BlackRock IBIT $235 million, Fidelity FBTC $213 million, with all eight funds showing positive inflows.
In the previous two weeks, $681 million and $228 million were redeemed, but these three days pushed October's net inflow back to $461 million.
$BTC surged to 84,700 intraday on Wednesday, then retreated to around 82,500, with gains far less impressive than the capital momentum.
I think this is a real reversal but hasn't yet reached the speed line to ignite a big rally: in the past three rallies with over 50% gains, daily inflows were all above $200 million; since July, the daily average is only $86 million, institutions have just returned to the table and haven't placed heavy bets yet.
Do you think this wave of inflows can firmly support Bitcoin above 85,000? A: Yes, institutions are just starting to replenish. B: No, the average speed hasn't met the mark yet.

A few days ago, I saw Big Brother Maji's position shrink to 3.6 million and thought he was holding bullets waiting for an opportunity. But today, it turns out he didn't wait at all and went all in again.
ETH is now at 3,100 units, 25x long full position, margin just over 300,000, opening price 2455.14. The most ridiculous thing is that the liquidation price is actually higher than the opening price—profitable positions can still be liquidated. Setting a 25x full position like this basically means other positions in the account are losing badly, draining the margin, and the liquidation price is pushed up by overall risk.
Now with a pot of over 7 million, he's just a few dollars away from liquidation; any small move could send him off. It turns out Big Brother really did hide bullets, but not to wait for opportunities, rather to put the bullets right to his head. This kind of full position with high leverage, even if the ETH long alone is profitable, can't withstand the drag from other positions; once the overall margin tightens, forced liquidation is triggered.
If he can sleep through this roller coaster tonight, that would be a miracle. Going forward, the focus is on whether ETH can quickly escape the risk zone around 2455, and whether he will add margin or reduce positions. Feel free to watch, but don't take a whale's position as a trading signal.

Watching it is really satisfying, but the higher it goes, the more cautious I have to be. When I entered, I saw support on the pullback and solid buying pressure, so I followed; I didn't guess the bottom or rush in, and my logic hasn't changed.
But from 0.5282 to 0.5614 is a 6.3% rise, with short-term divergence obvious, more and more profit-taking is accumulating, and a single pullback of 1.1% on the 50x leverage could cut floating profits by half.

Buying low can still turn unrealized gains into losses. @BTC星辰 originally planned to take advantage of the US stock market decline to gradually buy back chips, and indeed participated in the rebounds of SanDisk, Micron, and Hynix during the session; but as prices surged and then fell back, he repeatedly emphasized capital protection, and finally admitted he forgot to execute on some positions, causing profits to slip away again. The key takeaway from the whole session is not "buy more as prices fall," but that cheap chips without an exit plan can also become passive holdings. His approach was not unchanged from start to finish. At the opening, he wanted to wait for the US market to officially open to see if there would be another downward spike, attempting small left-side positions; during the rebound, he expected a continuation of recovery; in the latter half, as the structure weakened, he clearly requested to avoid going long temporarily. If you cut these segments into one sentence like "星辰 firmly bottoms out," you lose the most important risk changes. First, look at SanDisk—around 1300 is not an automatically effective bottom. After the open, he first tried a head position, then stated his SanDisk cost was around 1311. When the price rebounded to around 1350, he did not fully realize the entire position but repeatedly requested that positions with unrealized gains set stop-losses at the original price, and treated whether the four-hour chart could retake 1350 as an important observation for recovery. But the rebound did not hold, and the price fell back down. He frankly said that raising the 1311 cost meant that originally he could have exited with a few dozen dollars of fluctuation, but holding longer caused the unrealized gains to disappear; he also admitted he "forgot to push the breakeven stop" on some positions. This was an execution error, not retroactively counting unrealized profits as already earned money. 📌Two unusual moves by whales
✅ First whale: closed BTC long positions to take profits, then switched to increasing ETH holdings
✅ Second whale: sold BTC for 11 consecutive days, cashing out a total of $159 million, all converted into ETH
The interesting point is: currently, the ETH/BTC exchange rate is still weakening, yet the whales are gradually reallocating during this relatively weak phase.
As you said, a single whale's action can be seen as an individual move, but two major players making the same directional choice consecutively is a signal worth adding to the watchlist. It likely indicates a sector rotation is being set up.
💡Personal thoughts
First, distinguish two things: whale reallocation ≠ ETH immediately outperforming BTC
There are many reasons for whales to reallocate:
1. Just profit rebalancing: BTC has had a sufficient rally, so taking some profits and reallocating to the more flexible ETH to seek excess returns is a classic late-stage market rotation from the main coin to the secondary leader;
2. Betting on the narrative: wagering on catalysts for ETH such as staking yields, ecosystem growth, ETF expectations. Compared to BTC, ETH is a higher elasticity asset. If the market maintains a steady upward trend, ETH’s upside potential is higher;
3. It could also be short-term swing trading, using ETH for short-term bets rather than a firm long-term bullish stance
My view: rotation is possible, but currently it’s just an early positioning phase, not yet a confirmed start.
Don’t blindly follow whales to switch full positions; it’s better to track exchange rate strength in batches and increase bias only after relative strength is confirmed. #October FOMC Approaches, What Are the Variables for the Fed's Pause on Rate Hikes?
Meeting Date: October 27–28 FOMC, Market Baseline Expectation: Pause rate hikes in October, maintain 3.75%-4.00%, leaving the rate hike suspense for December.
CME FedWatch Pricing: About 84% probability of no rate hike in October, only about 16% chance of a 25bp hike; pricing for a 25bp hike in December is already very high, close to 80%.
2. Core PCE (Fed's preferred indicator): The PCE will be released immediately after the decision on October 29, meaning as soon as the decision lands, we get an inflation test paper. If core PCE rebounds month-on-month, a December rate hike is basically set in stone; if it continues to fall, hawkish expectations will cool down.
Dilemma:
- Overheated employment and rising wages → support inflation, giving the Fed reason to continue rate hikes;
- Rapid weakening employment and rising unemployment rate → signals economic recession, limiting the Fed's room for further hikes, and the market may even start pricing in rate cuts early.
September nonfarm payrolls have already clearly weakened, but wage resilience remains, causing internal division among officials: some fear inflation rebound, others fear a hard landing.
Risk point: The market currently assumes "skipping October = no rush to hike," but if Powell directly emphasizes that a pause does not mean stopping, the market will be caught off guard, and the Nasdaq, crypto, and gold could quickly plunge.
✅ Positive scenario: Inflation data continues to decline + employment continues to cool, the Fed hints that the rate hike cycle has most likely ended, growth stocks and crypto will see a rebound. 📈 82 crypto projects that shut down this year had raised $727M.

$BTC There's a strange phenomenon these days: spot ETFs have had net inflows of hundreds of millions consecutively, which should have caused a sharp rise, but the price stubbornly slid from 85K back to 83K.
It's like a patient admitted to the ICU: the IV bag is desperately pumping blood in (capital inflow), but the blood pressure (price) just won't rise. This shows that the funds are indeed sufficient, but the underlying risk appetite hasn't recovered at all—a typical case of "microcirculatory ischemia." The current 83K is not a healthy discharge but "under observation with tubes," artificially supported by funds. Once the tubes are removed (inflows slow down), compensatory tachycardia will immediately appear.
Looking at cross-market linkage, if the US stock tokens don't show improvement, relying solely on the ETF's own blood to locally congest, no matter how good the ECG looks, the whole body's tissues are still hypoxic.
Looking closely at this 840 million, a single-day 23.2 million inflow indicates the infusion speed is already unstable. Most of this money is passive ETF allocation and short-term arbitrage, like relying on pressor drugs to keep going; once the drug effect wears off, the true state is revealed, and it simply can't support a large-scale reversal.
So don't just stare at that bullish candle now. Focus on these indicators: can the inflow continue? Does volume shrink during pullbacks? Can the US stock linkage synchronize? If it's only passive funds propping it up, then it's like giving daily heart stimulants.
My judgment: this is not the eve of a breakout but the heart on tubes trying to wean off. Do you think this wave of ETF money can help BTC get off the tubes? $ETH $ZEC JNJ was hit by its own earnings report last Tuesday, dropping 5.7%, and hasn't recovered after seven days.

#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? Net inflow of about $840 million for three consecutive days, yet the price slipped from 85K back to 83K — on the monitor, this is called volume replenishment without perfusion pressure recovery; on the operating table, this is a typical early sign of cardiac tamponade, not just simple blood pressure fluctuation.
First, look at the vital signs: from October 19 to 21, the US Bitcoin spot funds had net inflows of about 527 million, 23.2 million, and 290 million respectively, totaling approximately 840 million. This is equivalent to pushing three consecutive bags of red blood cells and plasma into circulation, raising central venous pressure, but stroke volume did not improve synchronously. Bitcoin briefly surged to 85K then retreated to 83K, indicating that the buying increased preload but did not translate into sustained myocardial contractility. Price is blood pressure, capital flow is volume, and the real problem lies in microcirculation perfusion and risk appetite.
Three consecutive days of net inflow is not a bad thing, but it resembles early postoperative fluid replacement: sustaining the numbers on the monitor in the ICU does not mean the heart has come off bypass. If subsequent inflows cannot continue, compensatory tachycardia will appear first, followed by rising lactic acid and peripheral coldness and wetness. The current market at 83K is not recovery discharge but observation with tubes.
Next, consider cross-market linkage. The US stock token XIBM is like an adjacent lead: looking at ST segment elevation in a single lead alone does not justify opening the chest; heart rate, blood pressure, blood gases, and troponin must be observed simultaneously. If the Bitcoin spot fund’s capital flow forms a thrombus only at the fund end without entering the broader risk asset capillaries, linked tokens like XIBM tend to show a separation phenomenon of “good ECG but ongoing tissue hypoxia.” The price gap is not the lesion itself but an electrophysiological disorder exposed by insufficient perfusion.
Key diagnostic points: First, the continuity of inflow. A total of 840 million over three days is volume recovery, but a single day’s 23.2 million shows fluid replacement speed is already unstable. Second, the quality of inflow. If buying is concentrated in passive allocation and short-term arbitrage, it’s like maintaining blood pressure only with vasoactive drugs—stop the drugs and it drops. Third, price feedback. The pullback near 85K indicates resistance narrowing above; blood flow through it causes pain, but not passing causes ischemia. Fourth, cross-market transmission. If XIBM cannot simultaneously increase volume, it means collateral circulation is not established; the blood flow at the Bitcoin fund end is only local congestion, not systemic perfusion improvement.
What needs the most attention now is not a single bullish candle but the continuous trend in postoperative monitoring: whether net inflow can continue, whether volume shrinks on pullbacks, and whether risk transmission between XIBM and Bitcoin is aligned. If funds keep coming in and price does not break down, it indicates outflow obstruction; if funds turn negative and price falls further, that is early hemorrhagic shock. Whether ETF buying can continue is not an emotional issue but whether circulation can sustain itself.
My judgment: this is not the eve of a breakout but the heart on a trial off bypass with tubes; the 83K on the monitor is blood pressure supported by drugs, and true autonomous circulation has not yet recovered. #btcetfinflowspricegapThe most dangerous position on a 64-square chessboard is never when the opponent's rooks, knights, and cannons are openly placed, but when you, in an attempt to seize the central squares, have dismantled your own rear pawn chain into a sieve. Meta's Q3 game record laid out: revenue of 64.6 billion, a 26% year-over-year increase; ad impressions up 10%, unit price up 14%—a fierce offensive in the front lines, like knights trampling through connected camps. But operating profit was hammered down by 37% due to a 9.89 billion out-of-court legal blow, free cash flow turned negative to -2.12 billion, and the full-year capital expenditure guidance is 135 to 145 billion. This is not a solid Sicilian Defense; it's an all-in gambit pressing heavy pieces on the king's wing, leaving the queen's wing a lone commander.
A true grandmaster judges the game not by how many pieces are captured, but by the structure of the forces. The advertising business is Meta's midgame engine; a 26% growth rate shows it still holds the initiative. But a single quarter capital expenditure of 34.9 billion and negative cash flow equals voluntarily sacrificing two pawns to open a line—betting on AI as the diagonal path to checkmate. Issuing non-voting Class C shares is an even more clever move; on the surface, it increases financial flexibility, but in essence, it quietly replenishes reserve pawns on the board's edge, without damaging the existing king's fortress, while leaving enough room for future promotions and variations. The problem is: what is the biggest risk in a sacrifice attack? It's fearing the opponent won't respond, and that the sacrificed pawns won't be exchanged for equivalent initiative. Shrinking operating profit and cash flow distress is not the calm piece exchange of the endgame; it's a forced series of checks in the midgame—every move must be precise, one mistake and it's a counterattack.
Looking at the linked target $xDELL, the logic on the board is clear: Meta is pouring hundreds of billions into computing infrastructure, effectively setting up a row of bishops along the supply chain diagonal, with server hardware like Dell's as the fulcrum on the bishop's eye. Strong advertising is Meta's own positional advantage, but capital expenditure spillover is the ammunition supplied to the peripheral pieces. However—when the main force exhausts cash flow to attack, the peripheral pieces' benefit window follows the main attack's rhythm; once the main attack is forced to switch to defense, the fulcrum instantly becomes a weakness.
The real winning move is not on this Q3 scoreboard. When a grandmaster reviews the game, they ask only one question: was this sacrifice calculated for a promotion twenty moves ahead, or a casual move forced by time pressure? The sharpness of revenue and the hole in cash flow laid out simultaneously show the player has fully committed their king's wing—there is no turning back in the midgame: either checkmate or be checkmated. #MetaQ3RevenueBeat The high-altitude sounding chart at 3 a.m. just came back, showing the Western Pacific subtropical high and a super cyclone codenamed "SPCX" undergoing the Fujiwhara effect—beside it, the isobars of Tesla's warm ridge are visibly bending toward the center.
Q3 revenue grew 161% year-over-year to $14.575 billion; this is not ordinary precipitation, but explosive convection within 48 hours, with vertical velocity maxed out and cloud-top brightness temperature dropping below -80°C; net profit of $4.404 billion indicates extremely full energy release, and latent heat flux is still pushing upward. More importantly, AI revenue of $7.56 billion has replaced the automotive segment as the largest precipitation band—the warm, moist jet transport channel is established, the moisture convergence center shifts eastward, and the entire cyclone's thermal structure is being rewritten. Musk confirmed both sides have formed an independent board committee to evaluate the merger, but with zero terms, like two regional numerical weather models running the same weather consultation: initial fields are close, but physical processes are calculated separately. The goal to reach an agreement by the first half of 2027 is equivalent to an extended forecast beyond 168 hours; the probability circle has already been drawn to the edge of the confidence interval, and the path oscillation is enough to distort any single ensemble member. The disclosed Bitcoin holdings of 30,221 coins act as ice crystal nuclei stably existing in the high-altitude cold vortex, not directly participating in convection but continuously affecting radiative balance and temperature advection. The triple-leveraged long target linkage resembles a squall line passing: echo gradients are steep, gust fronts shear back and forth between spot and derivatives, and every millibar deepening of the pressure trough adds a layer of turbulence dissipation rate on the leverage side.
What really needs monitoring is wind shear. Merger negotiations and business integration belong to low-level convergence, determining whether the cyclone can stabilize; while AI revenue share, Bitcoin balance sheet penetration, and trading structure are mid-level trough ridges, deciding if the path bends north or west. In the current environmental field, geopotential height anomalies are positive, but the dew point front presses south, and boundary layer humidity conditions are not solid; any clause leak or regulatory disturbance can trigger convective precipitation and thunderstorm gusts. On the radar mosaic, the echo center has not yet entered the landfall window, but wind shear has already picked up—all high-leverage positions are waiting for the next sounding. #SpaceXTeslaMergerTalks When the price surges the most, it's easiest to overlook who is selling. $DOOD perpetual 20x short, opened at 0.002283, now 0.00222, floating profit +55.19%.
On-chain records show that from mid-June to mid-October, about 690 million tokens were transferred from the project's treasury multisig to a single address, accounting for nearly 7% of the total supply; the circulating supply is about 7.8 billion tokens, and the potential increase remains a variable hanging over the rebound peak.
This round of rise lacks fundamental support, but trading volume has expanded to more than six times the market cap, driven by capital. The pulse of valuation without an anchor is naturally unsustainable; the weak rebound after breaking below 0.00228 confirms insufficient high-level support.
Looking at the trend, 0.00213 and 0.0020 provide sequential support; above, 0.0025–0.0026 is dense selling pressure. If volume falls back to pre-surge levels, the price center of gravity will most likely continue to move down; preserve capital first before considering holding. $BTC $ETH
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #Tesla Q3 Earnings Review: Sales Are Not the Only Answer! 📊🚗
Reviewing $TSLA's Q3 earnings, I really missed the EPS this time 😂
Originally thought that with delivery volume only up 1.33% quarter-over-quarter, plus pressure from R&D and other expenses, the profit performance would hardly beat expectations. But the adjusted EPS reached $0.48, one of the core reasons being the gross margin improvement exceeded predictions!
📈 Several key data points worth noting:
🔹 Overall gross margin: Q2's 16.8% → Q3's 19.6%
🔹 Revenue basically flat, but gross profit increased by about $743 million
🔹 Both automotive and energy storage businesses contributed to gross margin improvement
🔹 Capital expenditures decreased quarter-over-quarter, helping cash flow but not directly explaining the EPS beat
The biggest lesson this time: don’t just focus on sales volume, also study per-vehicle cost, product mix, and business gross margin.
But the challenge is here: how to estimate the extent of gross margin improvement before the earnings release? How to judge changes in capital expenditures, and the actual impact of FSD, energy storage, and other businesses on profitability?
👀 I’d like to ask friends who research US stock earnings:
What leading indicators do you focus on most before earnings releases? How do you improve the accuracy of EPS forecasts?

In October, Ethereum ETFs had a net outflow of about $1.08 billion, with the $ETH price dropping 9.7% to around $2438. Meanwhile, Tom Lee warned of a possible sell-off, but BitMine still staked ETH worth about $400 million.
ETF redeemers and stakers have different market timeframes. When large holders both issue warnings and lock tokens, it indicates they are preparing for market volatility rather than fleeing.
Do you believe in Ethereum? Or are you waiting for the price to drop further? 2:30 AM, the decision is not the direction, it is the stop-loss button
The October FOMC is highly likely to maintain 3.75%—4.00% unchanged; the real variable is Powell's wording on the December path. Positions in the three coins are not heavy, and once liquidity opens, the probability of being stopped out first is higher than directly following the trend.
$BTC: Current price near 82,500, with support at 81,700—82,000 below, and a sell wall and liquidation cluster overlapping at 86,500—87,500 above. If the wording is hawkish, it may first probe down to 82,000 to test support; breaking below 81,700 would open a deeper retracement. If the wording is dovish, short covering could push a recovery to 83,500, but around 87,000 remains vulnerable to rejection.
$ETH: 2,400 is the dividing line. October ETF net outflows are nearly $1.1 billion, but BitMine locked staking forms a counterforce. Holding 2,400 offers a chance to pull back to 2,450 once; a volume break below 2,380 will truly open downside space.
$SOL: Around 106, the ETF seven-day average still shows a daily net outflow of about 40,000 tokens, with the head and shoulders neckline at 100. SOL is likely to amplify BTC volatility: if BTC holds 82,000, SOL can test 108—109; if BTC first breaks down, the $100 neckline comes into view.
In short: The decision does not create direction, it only decides who gets stopped out first. None of the three coins have new inflows; the early morning volatility looks more like a redistribution of existing holdings.

$BTC has looked strong these past two days, but the underlying capital signals don't cooperate😐. On October 19, BTC ETF still recorded a net inflow of $527 million, but the next day it dropped to only $23.16 million. The sharp decline in inflows indicates a clear cooling in institutional buying interest📉. More notably, ETH ETF has seen net outflows for five consecutive days, showing that capital is still retreating from the sector, and the short-term sentiment surge hasn't brought sustained new inflows💸.
So, don't directly translate "rebound" as "reversal"⚠️. Currently, it looks more like a recovery after overselling, combined with a sentiment boost driven by short-covering, rather than a new consensus forming among funds. If the volume structure doesn't improve and key levels don't hold, the risk of a pullback after the surge remains significant.
Watch these two points closely👀:
1️⃣ Whether BTC ETF can resume continuous net inflows and stabilize institutional buying;
2️⃣ Whether ETH ETF can end its continuous outflows and truly bring capital back.
Before the capital environment warms up, the strategy should still treat this as a weak rebound, avoid blindly chasing highs, and don't impulsively buy at short-term peaks🙅♂️.
