The pause on rate hikes is already priced in at over 80%, so what other variables could there be?
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数?
First, some news 📢: The Federal Reserve meeting is scheduled for October 27-28, and the pre-meeting quiet period has begun with officials collectively going silent. The market consensus is clear: the probability of holding rates steady and pausing rate hikes is over 80%. No surprises? The variable is inflation: September's CPI year-over-year came in at 3.7%, higher than expected, and PPI is also running hot, so the decision day might not be as stable as the pricing suggests. Waller previously hinted that he does not predict or suggest another rate hike in October—the door isn’t fully closed, but it’s not wide open either.
Looking at the market positions tonight for the three major cryptos:
BTC is around 84,463, with long positions increased by 4.32%
ETH is around 2,497, with longs and shorts evenly split
SOL is around 107.64, with shorts holding a 52.7% advantage
Behind these numbers is a scramble for positions before the "pause" is confirmed: 263 million contracts exploded across the network in 24 hours, with shorts making up 67%, and 80.6 million of the liquidated BTC shorts accounting for 86%. Big money has already bet on the pause, forcing shorts to cover; SOL is the weakest, just having passed the baton, and money is hesitant to bet on the main player.
My view: If the decision really follows through with a pause, the moment of the announcement is likely to see a spike and then a pullback, so don’t chase that second. If the wording carries a hawkish tone, SOL will retrace faster than BTC and ETH. Over 80% is still just a probability, not a guarantee; until CPI cools down, I trust positions, not words.
Do you think this over 80% probability is solid? Could the remaining 10% chance of a rate hike be the biggest black swan of the year? 👇I remain somewhat optimistic about Meta's revenue performance in tonight's earnings report, but this time I am more concerned about the actual usage and payment situation following the release of Muse. The stock price has already risen once with the hype around Muse, and slightly better-than-expected advertising business may not be enough to support the market's expectations for the new business. In September, Meta's stock price rose about 27%, with the hype around Muse being a factor in that increase. I understand that this rise included investors' expectations for new revenue sources, because besides using AI to improve advertising effectiveness, Meta is also starting to have opportunities to directly make money through AI products. However, as of October 20, the stock price has already given back some of the gains, so we cannot conclude that tonight's report will fully satisfy the positive expectations just because of the big rise in September. I am more optimistic about Muse's applications for businesses, as it can connect Facebook and Instagram business accounts and advertising accounts, helping businesses analyze operations, create content, and handle daily management. Meta already has advertising clients, and if these tools can truly help clients save time and improve their business, it could simultaneously increase product payments and advertising revenue. But how much profit this path can ultimately bring depends on whether businesses are willing to continue using and paying for it, and how much it costs Meta to provide these services. It is also necessary to distinguish between the product release and the time covered by the earnings report. The Muse intelligent agent was only launched in September, and the Muse Wonder model released in October is not part of Q3.The prophet event's madmen either lead by a wide margin or drop out directly; getting second place is impossible!👿
Although Tesla's company consensus released on the 19th is 0.45, exceeding the guess of 0.43; JPMorgan still hasn't expressed an opinion and remains pessimistic at 0.36. Moreover, nearly half of the recent company earnings reports have missed consensus, indicating the NO side is not necessarily doomed to lose.
META has a particularly important piece of news: whether the billion-dollar legal fees will be fully recognized in Q3 at once; if confirmed, the result will only be Gaap Eps <4; even if not confirmed, the expectation is only 6.08, requiring more than a 4% beat to reach 6.31.
Looking forward to the results after the US stock market closes. If you see that I am in first place, please reply to me 😄#ETF continues to see outflows, how far can the $BTC rebound go?
Capital flow and price trends are completely different matters.
ETFs keep experiencing outflows, yet BTC is rebounding. This kind of divergence often leads to misjudging the market.
From October 12 to 16, the US Bitcoin spot ETF had a net outflow of about $229 million, and the Ethereum spot ETF net outflow reached $320 million. On October 19, the Bitcoin ETF had a single-day net outflow of about $139 million.
Institutional funds are continuously withdrawing, which is a signal that cannot be ignored.
But on the other hand, $BTC has rebounded from around $80,000 to $83,000 and is currently fluctuating near $82,000.
Funds are flowing out, yet the price is rising—why?
The key is: this rebound may not be driven by incremental funds but is more likely related to short covering and short-term replenishment.
Concentrated short covering itself can push prices up. But the buying from covering shorts is not the same as new funds entering the market with a positive outlook and sustained participation.
The former can drive a rebound, while the latter is more beneficial for a sustained bullish trend.
Without incremental funds taking over, the rebound may lack momentum. Once short covering ends and buying slows, prices could come under pressure again.
Like water without a source, a brief rise does not mean there is enough follow-up strength. #DailyOrbit The structural liquidity characteristics of the current ETHUSDT market are as follows: long liquidation orders are highly concentrated in the 2400-2450 range below, short liquidation orders are continuously distributed in the 2500-2550 range above, and large long positions significantly exceed short positions. This structure implies higher potential volatility when the price moves downward, with a more pronounced structural vulnerability in long positions.
#BTC与ETH现货ETF同步流出,机构需求转弱了吗? The SOL option expiring on 10-23 with a strike price of 106 has an implied volatility of 59.06%, translating to a two-day range of ±$4.6. This option was activated 41 hours later than Alpenglow, with the entire upgrade night falling within the pricing range.
The realized volatility of SOL over the past 7 days, calculated by daily closing prices, is only 19.0%, making the 59% implied volatility appear three times more expensive than 19%. When measured by hourly returns, the realized volatility is 59.4%, and at a 15-minute interval, it's 61.7%, almost identical to 59.06%. The 19% figure is due to the daily intraday amplitude of about 3.9% before the upgrade, while the closing price remained unchanged.
The 59% implied volatility is not buying the upgrade shock but the intraday oscillation.
For the 10-30 expiration with strike prices of 102, 108, and 114, the call implied volatilities are 1.2 to 2.6 points higher than the puts, all three strikes show positive skew, pricing the upside more expensively than the downside. The term structure slopes monotonically downward: 60.6% at the 10-22 expiration 106 at-the-money, 59.1% at 10-23, and down to 52.8% at 10-30, with premiums concentrated only in the nearest two expirations.
The upgrade day was actually the quietest, with a 10-21 intraday amplitude of only 1.42%, compared to a 7-day average of 3.92%. The testnet has been cleared and restarted 6 times since its launch in May, including one migration failure that caused a full network rollback.
The 59% implied volatility versus 59.4% realized volatility means the premium is nearly zero. The 4.4% 1σ range leaves no room for surprises, betting that Alpenglow will launch as planned and $SOL will continue to oscillate around 106. #Zcash up 8.5% in 24 hours
I looked into why ZEC is rising this time, and the reason is quite straightforward: the overall market is rebounding after nearly a month of decline (about 17% drop in the month), plus the developers have finalized the activation height for the NU7 upgrade at block 3,543,405, expected around November 5. NU7 will reduce block time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, making transaction confirmations nearly three times faster.
Interestingly, Binance futures have already risen 12.8%, but the funding rate is negative, indicating quite a few are still shorting; open interest increased from $520 million to $620 million in one day. With both rising prices and short positions, I’m cautious about chasing this.
A useful point for ordinary people: there’s often hype before an upgrade, but when it actually arrives, the good news is usually priced in. Also, the Zcash Foundation’s own schedule shows only 6 of 12 tasks completed, and node synchronization work is still ongoing, so don’t take November 5 as set in stone.
I’m only watching two price levels: around 1,300 (today’s high was 1,302)—if it can’t hold, it’s likely to pull back; below that, 1,250 is near today’s open, and if that breaks, then look at 1,150.
Are you holding for the upgrade, or cashing out once it hits 1,300?

Personal opinion, not financial adviceIn twenty trading days, IREN fell 45.2%, while QQQ fell 4.0% in the same period: the index is fine, but a category of stocks went bad first.
October 14 crash day: CoreWeave dropped 13%, IREN dropped 12.2%, the whole group followed the crash.
Closed at 26.62 on 10/20, only 54% away from the twenty-day high.
The bond market moved first: CoreWeave's high leverage was repriced by the credit market.
I think this round of decline is not because AI is failing, but because the source of funding is being repriced.
These compute power leasing companies rely on convertible bonds to roll out development; once the bond market closes the window, the discount model must be recalculated.
Orders are long-term, bonds must be repaid, and duration mismatch fears the financing cost not coming down, making the story unsellable.
Giants like Meta, who fund themselves, will also be tested in the next earnings report.
Those rushing in to bottom-fish now are catching a flying knife.
The twenty-day average trading price is 35.61, closing 25% lower on 10/20; in twenty days, twelve days were above the average price, layering the trapped positions.
The whole group is still bouncing today, but the first hour of trading only reached 73% of yesterday's same period.
This rebound is an oversold correction, not a return of funds.
Observe, don't chase. Stand back above 28.22 with daily volume returning to 70 million, admit the mistake; break below 25.59 and it's not over; 10/23 will reveal the outcome.
Do you think this round is a reshuffle of AI construction, or the end of the entire narrative?

#TradingVoice: Your experience deserves to be heard$BTC Someone asked, what level would a technical secondary school graduate born in 1971 be considered at now?
This is actually a typical token inflation and empowerment stripping model.
Back then, getting into a technical secondary school was equivalent to being an absolute early-stage miner. At that time, not only was the pool extremely small, but the most crucial thing was that the certificate was tied to three core "airdrop empowerments."
Later, the pool began to expand infinitely, and the attached rights were forcibly removed one by one. In the crypto world, ENS domains expire if not renewed, but diplomas never expire, so no one reminds you how diluted your share has become.
Token inflation can at least be checked on-chain, but diploma inflation is hopeless—you can only look through census yearbooks. The same person, the same certificate, but the gap in between is not effort at all, it’s silent issuance.#BTC spot ETF sees continuous net inflows, so why is the price reaction still limited?
Recently, the capital flow of BTC spot ETFs has been like a roller coaster, also exposing the most worrisome signals in the current market.
From October 12 to 16, BTC spot ETFs had a cumulative net outflow of about $228 million; by the 19th, funds suddenly surged back in, with a single-day net inflow of about $527 million, hitting a new high for the month. However, on the 20th, the net inflow quickly shrank to about $23.16 million.
Funds just made a big entry, but the next day cooled down significantly—this is what deserves attention.
This indicates that the sustainability of short-term capital inflows remains to be verified. A large single-day net inflow can certainly boost market sentiment, but if subsequent funds cannot continue to follow up, it is difficult to confirm based on one day’s data alone that institutions have started a new round of sustained accumulation.
More crucial is the price performance.
On the 19th, BTC spot ETFs had a net inflow exceeding $500 million, yet BTC mainly oscillated around $82,000 without a strong breakout matching the scale of the capital inflow.
What does this mean?
Capital entering the market does not mean selling pressure has disappeared. If new buy orders are continuously absorbed by sell orders above, then even if ETF capital inflows look impressive, the price may not be able to open up upward momentum accordingly. Of course, limited price reaction alone is not enough to conclude that all buy orders have been absorbed by sell orders. #DailyOrbit $BTC led the entire market to a 1.51% drop in 24 hours, yet the top gainers list is dominated by a string of small-cap DeFi sectors. This round is a reshuffling of existing funds within small caps, which won't last long. Meta-governance rose 26.5%, yield aggregators rose 17.5%, and along with crypto asset collateral tokens, several sectors point to on-chain yields and governance voting rights. Where is the money coming from? Look at stablecoins. USDT's market cap dropped 0.14% in 24 hours, with no new money coming in OTC, and the large caps falling again, these gains can only be reallocated from big coins. The meta-governance sector's market cap is only $270 million, the celebrity concept $160 million, small pools where a little movement can produce large percentage gains. Fear and greed index is 63, a week ago 62, sentiment basically unchanged, and no new inflows visible. Signal that rotation is ending: USDT market cap continues to shrink, while fear and greed falls back below 62, these sectors will be the first to give back gains. Only if USDT converts to issuance will there be new money taking over.$BTC was pulled up right after the US stock market opened, with an hourly candle shooting from 83,800 to 84,700, reclaiming above 84,000 and hitting a new weekly high 🚀
The trigger came from Musk's side. SpaceX's earnings far exceeded expectations, rising 10% at the open, Tesla followed with a 4% increase, the Nasdaq was lifted, and US Treasury yields also fell about 3 basis points. Musk also confirmed that SpaceX and Tesla are discussing a merger; together, they hold over 30,000 BTC on their books. No terms have been set yet, and it doesn't involve buying coins, but the sentiment has already been ignited.
Actually, the groundwork was laid a couple of days ago: the spot BTC ETF saw about $550 million inflows on Monday and Tuesday, with the majority from BlackRock's IBIT. On the way up, short positions were squeezed out all the way, with nearly $100 million liquidated across the network today, about 80% of which were shorts. Funding rates remain fairly stable, and leverage hasn't significantly increased.
Next, there are two paths to watch. Tomorrow morning after US market close, Tesla and Meta will release earnings; if tech stocks hold up, BTC has a chance to continue following; if earnings disappoint, the gains driven by sentiment and short squeezes might be given back. Looking further ahead, the Fed's rate decision at the end of the month will have an even bigger impact.🔥 Short Squeeze Scene: Don't mistake others' liquidations for your own celebration ⚰️
The 24-hour data is straightforward:
📉 $ETH short liquidations hit 62.16 million, longs 28.44 million
📉 $BTC short liquidations hit 47.87 million, longs 10.14 million
📉 $ZEC short liquidations hit 12.26 million, longs not even a fraction
This rally isn't because the bulls are that strong, but because the shorts couldn't hold on. Every price step up triggers stop losses, market buys push prices higher, and the next batch of shorts gets liquidated. Shorts exiting become fuel for the bulls.
OKX's review also points out: this surge is mainly driven by short covering, not retail chasing. ETH funding rates briefly turned negative, meaning shorts had to pay fees, yet prices didn't crash, indicating shorts are bleeding but not fully cleared.
⚠️ But a short squeeze doesn't mean a reversal. With high leverage, today's liquidation of others could be tomorrow's for you. Don't get overconfident and bury yourself too.

The ETH spot ETF continues to show outflows, with a single-day net outflow of $26.1 million, marking five consecutive trading days of net capital withdrawal, indicating weak overall institutional long sentiment.
From the underlying logic, ETFs only represent the capital scope of US spot funds and cannot cover the entire market buying volume, resulting in a clear divergence between price and capital.
The previously large single-day inflows were misleading, as buying pressure was continuously consumed by selling pressure, creating a stalemate where capital enters but prices fail to rise.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC Good news!
On October 19, $BTC spot ETFs saw a net inflow of about $527 million.
(As of now, no daily data has been found for October 20 and 21.)
Breaking it down, this net inflow is somewhat "unbalanced":
BlackRock IBIT had a single-day inflow of about $665 million;
Fidelity FBTC had an outflow of about $83.6 million;
Grayscale GBTC had an outflow of about $54.9 million.
In other words, BlackRock alone had a single-day inflow of $665 million.
The other two combined had a net outflow of about $138 million that day.
So this is still just a rebound,
not yet a confirmed trend reversal.
Since October, Bitcoin ETFs have still seen a slight net outflow overall, about $88 million;
previously, there were two consecutive weeks of net outflows.
So the $527 million on October 19
was mostly BlackRock pulling the overall data back into positive territory.
Going forward, watch two points:
First, whether IBIT can continue net inflows for several consecutive days;
Second, whether Fidelity and Grayscale stop outflows or turn to inflows.
If only IBIT keeps buying,
it indicates institutional funds have not fully returned yet. $IRYS's long-short ratio is extremely abnormal, with most whales betting on short positions. The highest price on OKX exchange was 0.029, but I checked on-chain and the previous highest price was 0.09. Recently, the trading volume of speculative coins generally reaches hundreds of millions. From this perspective, IRYS still has room to rise, so shorting is not recommended $BAT This abnormal point tonight, I have to say something.
During the day today, it was still being shouted at from a high position. I muttered in that article, a 20% increase in one day, but the volume is only 0.8 times the usual, isn't that a bit strange? Now the price has crashed from the high to 0.1787, down 13 points.
What's even stranger is that after dropping 13 points, the trading volume is only 70% of the usual. No one is buying when it falls, and no one is buying when it rises either. Is this a double top, or are the people from the high position a couple of days ago watching each other to see who squeezes out first?
30 days ago it didn't have this price, 90 days ago it was even cheaper. Now this wave has fallen from the mid-slope, only 20 points away from the high. This kind of volume-shrinking drop today still has the flavor I mentioned this morning. BTC smart money trader core data analysis, check the smart money flow before opening a position!!!

Unwinding logic
Short-term short position unwinding is difficult. If the market continues to surge and reaches the dense long cost zone at 86112, longs will concentrate on taking profits and exiting, then the market will have conditions for a significant pullback. 1. BTC company starts issuing 15% dividends
1. Stock priced at 90, face value 100, pays you 15 per year, the return is 16.7%, not 15%
2. You buy at 90, can you sell it back at 90 when you want? The company owes you 100, but that doesn't mean you can get 100 back anytime
3. Preferred stock ranks ahead of common stock; if the company really liquidates, it pays you first, but that's the order during liquidation: and the company doesn't have to repay principal at maturity (perpetual), price depends entirely on market buying and selling willingness
4. In this situation, price fluctuations must be considered, otherwise you might work for nothing
5. The advertised 15% is real, but it only covers interest, not how much you finally sell for
6. Preferred stock sounds like a safe promise, but what really determines if you get your money is your "queue position" in the company's capital structure, not whether it's called "preferred stock"; it is indeed ahead of common stock, but it doesn't tell you how many creditors (bank loans, bonds, accounts payable, etc.) are ahead of it, whether there are senior preferred stocks with higher priority, or if the company has large debts or potential liabilities
2. Anthropic, the developer of Claude, was rated as the highest risk tier; the rating agency gave the score in June, announced only in October
1. The US Treasury yield also rose to a 24-year high, and the claim of being the safest asset is starting to be doubted
2. When interest rates rise, previously issued bonds lose value
For example: you hold an IOU that promises to pay you 3 in one year. Now the market offers 5,24h short liquidations crushing longs: $ETH 62.16 million vs 28.44 million, $BTC 47.87 million vs 10.14 million, $ZEC 12.26 million. Upward movement triggers short stop-losses; stop-losses become buy orders, pushing the next wave higher—short covering fuels itself, not new long inflows. ETH funding rate briefly turned negative; shorts are bleeding but not dead yet.
Levels: BTC support at 81,200, strong support at 79,800; resistance at 83,600, strong resistance at 85,000; ETH support at 2,780, strong support at 2,700—holding this targets 2,910–3,000, breaking it targets 2,640.
Capital divergence: BTC spot ETF net inflow of 527 million in one day (IBIT accounts for 665 million), while ETH ETF has seen outflows for four consecutive days—grain silo only in BTC, ETH can’t go far relying on buybacks. ZEC was pushed out due to NU7 acceleration combined with the largest short Garrett Jin’s full market close (loss of 36.13 million).
Conclusion: Short squeeze is a correction, not a bull return. Chase BTC above 86,000 and ETH above 2,760; risk-reward is no longer favorable, waiting for a pullback confirmation is safer.

BTC 84,641, up 1.99%. Volume surged late at night, reaching a high of 84,735.
This rally is not just a simple emotional rebound; it’s a triple resonance of macro, capital, and market conditions:
1. Macro: South Korean and Japanese tech stocks in the AI industry chain are surging across the board, risk appetite has significantly increased, and capital is overflowing into the crypto market.
2. ETF: BTC spot ETF net inflow reached 526.7 million in one day, a near one-month high, with BlackRock’s IBIT alone taking 665 million; ETH ETFs are still seeing net outflows, with funds continuously concentrating on BTC.
3. Leverage: After the 10.11 crash, BTC open interest contracts dropped about 30%, excessive leverage has been effectively cleared, funding rates are near neutral, and the risk of cascading liquidations has greatly reduced. Market selling pressure is very light, triggering a chain of short-covering stop-loss orders.
Risk Warning: The 1-minute RSI6 has surged to 72.9, indicating severe short-term overbought conditions. The dense resistance zone is between 84,500-85,000, which coincides with strong pressure near the monthly opening price. After technical indicators show overbought, a short-term pullback is needed.
Key Levels:
Support for BTC is at 84,000, confirming the breakout; a pullback without breaking this level is a buying opportunity; if broken, expect a drop to 83,300. On the upside, if volume supports a steady hold above 85,000, the next target is 86,000-87,000.
In short: The breakout is confirmed, but don’t chase highs in the overbought zone. Wait for a pullback to 84,000-84,200 to stabilize before acting; defend if the level breaks.#存储芯片股反复震荡,调整是否结束?
On the day $SKHY stock price rose 5.8%, HBM4 shipments missed expectations for two consecutive quarters.

▪️ Samsung +5.67%, SK Hynix +5.80%; down 3.73% the previous day
▪️ The top three global DRAM manufacturers account for nearly 95% of capacity; no expansion after AI demand surged, shifting focus to HBM
▪️ General DRAM is therefore in shortage, this is a price increase driven by supply being squeezed out
▪️ Brokerage firms have lowered Q3 profit forecasts by 5.6% compared to three months ago
▪️ The main reason for the downgrade is HBM4 shipments missing expectations; earnings report due 10/28
The disagreement is not about whether the storage boom has ended, but that the currently rising chain and the chain to be delivered next quarter are not the same.
Shifting capacity from general DRAM to HBM is equivalent to exchanging today's shortage for tomorrow's orders: shortages boost this quarter's gross margin, orders wait for customers to launch products.
The direction is to wait and see — the first answer will come with the 10/28 earnings report: guidance will no longer be revised downward, the two chains will align; relying solely on general DRAM to hold up means pricing is driven by shortage. In the past half month, the overall price has experienced "platform breakdown — rebound resistance — further decline — low-level recovery".
Looking at the market from 2730 downwards, my main judgment on ETH remains: a double bottom structure at the 4-hour level, while the daily level structure is still bearish. The basis for maintaining this judgment is that after the high-level platform breakdown, the rebound has not yet recovered the key structure, net longs have been significantly damaged during the main downtrend phase, and active spot buying has not formed a sustained recovery. However, the recent higher lows and improved 4-hour momentum also mean that the bears can no longer chase the price down as aggressively as at the initial breakdown.
The latest change is: ETH contract CVD has risen noticeably, while spot CVD remains mainly at a low level without continuous and strong upward movement. This means the current ETH rebound still lacks sufficient confirmation from active spot buying. Especially on the evening of the 20th, the sharp rise accompanied by a decrease in OI likely involved short covering contributing to the increase; by the 21st, OI increased again, but spot CVD did not show obvious follow-through, so the current market is still mainly a short squeeze, and a trend reversal requires confirmation from the spot market.
Market extension: If the hourly breaks through 2470–2480 and the pullback does not fall below that while spot CVD begins to improve, at least in the short term, short selling should stop, and the previous high should not be regarded as an inevitable resistance for a pullback.
If the 4-hour level closes above the 2510 resistance zone, and the pullback does not fall back accompanied by continuous spot buying follow-through, I may consider closing long-term short positions. #BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限 #奈飞Q3盈利超预期,广告业务增长放缓

Netflix thickened subscription business profits through price hikes, but much of the market's bet is on the second growth curve from ad-supported memberships. Advertising expansion falling short of expectations means the medium- to long-term upside is shrinking. Streaming media competition continues to intensify, and relying solely on price hikes for dividends is hard to sustain. #SpaceXQ3 revenue surged 161%, AI business becomes the main growth driver
$SPCX surged 9.6% intraday on the first trading day after the earnings report, about 2.1 times the ATR, while the S&P only rose +0.2% during the same period.
Among 13 stocks in the same sector, 11 moved in the same direction with an average increase of 2.7%, showing sector resonance, but the approximately 7% excess gain leans towards earnings-related positive news.
Judgment: High probability of closing up on the first day.
If $SPCX maintains its gains tomorrow while the sector pulls back, it can be confirmed as earnings-driven.Someone using a European market data source to view ES 2000 tick charts often sees the candlestick colors reversed compared to an American friend looking at the same chart. Switching to the live account chart refreshes it, and the original signal pattern disappears; switching back to sim keeps it as is. Latency can at most explain a difference of one or two ticks, but it can't explain a single candlestick being red on one and green on the other. He is still trading on sim and doesn't want to reset the DB for fear of losing historical trades. First, clarify who feeds the data for sim and live respectively; this is more practical than adding any plugins.

This "practical measure" instantly caused ripples in the financial markets. But for crude oil and gold, is this a trend reversal or just a short-term emotional release? Experts' conclusions are clear: trading sentiment can turn instantly, but real peace is extremely difficult, and war is not 100% certain to stop. First, look at crude oil. Once the news broke, oil prices, which had been high due to war premiums, fell in response; Brent crude briefly dropped below $106, and WTI also gave back intraday gains. The logic is straightforward: if the front line freezes, Ukraine's continued attacks on Russian refineries and energy facilities will likely pause, and the geopolitical supply disruption premium previously priced in by the market will be quickly squeezed out. However, experts warn that it is extremely risky to be fully bearish on crude oil now. This is only Ukraine's unilateral statement; Russia's bottom line has not yet been revealed. As long as both sides have not signed a substantive ceasefire agreement, shipping risks in the Strait of Hormuz still exist. Crude oil is under short-term pressure, but the underlying support logic has not been completely broken. Next, look at gold. The transmission chain for gold is longer than for crude oil. If a ceasefire leads to a sustained drop in oil prices, it will ease global inflation pressures, thereby reducing the Federal Reserve's need to continue raising interest rates, which is an implicit positive for gold. But conversely, easing war tensions will also reduce market risk aversion, putting short-term pressure on gold prices. These two forces are fiercely clashing at present, causing gold's movement to be extremely tangled. Experts believe that gold prices are still in a consolidation range.Shivering?
To be honest, I was staring at the screen just now, my palms sweaty.
The bulls in the group are all celebrating wildly, shouting that a big bullish candle will directly push to 3000, making me too scared to even make a sound.

You think ETFs are still buying?
Look at the data, the $ETH spot ETF has had net outflows for 5 consecutive days, with $26.13 million running out in a single day, and a total hemorrhage of $1.08 billion since October.
BlackRock’s ETHA withdrew $33 million in one day. What are you going to use to fill this hole?
You think the Fed will ease?
Fed former Vice Chair Kohn said very plainly at the Bund Summit yesterday that inflation is still at 3.7%, and the next step is more likely to be a rate hike, not a pause.
The December rate hike sword still hangs overhead, so why would liquidity suddenly become loose?
Yes, I’m scared, I don’t dare to call trades, I’m even afraid of being scolded by you.
But my short position at 2671 hasn’t moved.
Coinglass data is also here; once it breaks below 2349, there will be $1.005 billion in long liquidations below.
I’m not arguing with you, nor do I dare to persuade.
At the 2488 level, I only do one thing: short on rallies, defend above 2530, target 2349.
You can call me a bearish dog, it doesn’t matter. When the liquidation waterfall really crashes down, don’t blame me for not warning you in advance.

#BTC spot ETF continuous net inflows, limited market reaction Ethereum $ETH bears suffer a heavy defeat
ETF is running, who is taking the baton?
October isn't over yet, but the US Ethereum spot ETF has already seen a net outflow of $1.08 billion, marking the largest single-month outflow in 2026, wiping out the $832 million inflow from September, leaving only about $485 million net inflow for the year.
BlackRock's ETHA is the main contributor. The ETF is running, and running decisively.
But the price of ETH hasn't collapsed.
It slid from 2700 at the beginning of October to 2438, a 9.7% drop, and then? It stubbornly held around 2400, even touching 2478 intraday. The ETF is bleeding, but the price isn't bleeding along, indicating someone is buying outside the ETF.
Who is buying? BitMine bought 12,535 ETH last week, pushing its total holdings to 6.04 million ETH, accounting for 4.9% of circulating supply. Tom Lee's exact words were "the current pullback is an attractive risk-reward opportunity."
On one side, the ETF is selling; on the other, the spot market is buying. This is the real contradiction ETH is facing now.
Below $2,279 is a liquidation-heavy zone; breaking below could trigger up to $801 million in long liquidations; above $2,517 is the short liquidation zone; breaking above could trigger $727 million in short covering. Whales on Hyperliquid are still adding to their short positions.
The price is trapped between these two liquidation zones, like a stretched rubber band. Which way it snaps depends not on the story, but on which side's positions give out first. #BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限
The funds in BTC spot ETFs have recently experienced a rollercoaster, directly revealing the market's bottom cards.
From October 12 to 16, there was a net outflow of $228 million. Then on the 19th, there was a sudden surge with a net inflow of $527 million, hitting a new high for the month, with BlackRock alone contributing over $600 million. Sounds impressive, right? But wait, look at the 20th, the net inflow shrank to a mere $23.16 million.
This is a typical pulse-style buying pattern: big money rushed in once, then softened immediately the next day. This indicates that institutional buying power is extremely unstable right now, with no real intention to sustain a long position.
The most direct feedback is in the price. On the 19th, despite the ETF inflow of over $500 million, BTC's price only oscillated around 82,000, without any decent breakout. What does this mean? It means the selling pressure above is too heavy, and all the incoming money was absorbed by sell orders.
The current reality is that the rebound relies on passive buying triggered by short liquidations, not genuine ETF cash entering the market to sweep up assets. This kind of rally is very fragile. Moreover, it's currently tech giants' earnings season and the Federal Reserve's quiet period, so big money is all in risk-off mode; no one dares to push aggressively now.
In terms of strategy, if you hold long positions, take advantage of the current rebound to reduce your holdings and pocket the profits; don't always try to grab the last bite. If you're out of the market, be very careful not to chase just because the price is up—this kind of volume-light rebound is the easiest trap to get caught in. $BTC $AAVE
Leading lending platform rebounds, what is more worth tracking than the coin price?
In today's afternoon spot market snapshot, AAVE's 24-hour price change is +3.10%, ranging from 147.39 to 158.46 USDT.
Price increase provides clues about risk appetite, but lending business still depends on borrowing demand, utilization, and bad debt risk. Collateral price rise improves surface indicators but does not mean the risk has disappeared.
If healthy borrowing demand and net income increase simultaneously, the recovery logic is more stable; if high utilization comes from liquidity tightness and rising liquidation risk, then optimistic judgments need to be adjusted downward. #BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限
BTC spot ETFs continue to see net inflows, but the price response is muted, creating a volume-price divergence.
Reason: ETF buying is hedged by selling from old holders; many funds are arbitrage capital rather than long-term bullish; meanwhile, funds are diverted to speculate on small-cap coins like ZEC and SPCX, combined with cautious macro expectations, limiting upward momentum.
Positive: Institutional funds continue to accumulate, limiting downside risk.
Risk: Funds flowing in without price increase is a weak signal; if inflows slow, pressure is likely.
Outlook: A volume breakout above resistance is needed to open up upside space; short term will likely remain range-bound, so do not blindly bullish based solely on ETF inflows.
Summary: ETF funds are gradually entering, but heavy selling pressure above makes a strong short-term rally unlikely; expect mainly consolidation. After touching 83,000, it was immediately smashed down. Who is BTC waiting for to make a decision?
First, the data: In the past 24 hours, the entire network's short positions exploded to $194 million, while long positions were only $84.72 million. Shorts were roasted below 83,000, but BTC was slammed back from 83,062 to 81,678 — the direction is biased bullish, but the fuel is insufficient.
$BTC: The short-term lifeline is 87,371 above; only a daily close above this confirms a rebound. The 50-day moving average combined with the first defense line is at 80,433 below; breaking this points to 76,140. Funding rates remain positive, bulls are resilient, but new leverage is restrained. Bulls are defending, shorts are betting, but neither has gone all in.
$ETH: Shorts exploded to $64.3 million, more than double the long liquidations. Price pulled from 2,376 to 2,477, holding steady above 2,450 without falling, signaling resistance to decline; however, ETF net outflows have continued for the fifth consecutive day, with BlackRock's ETHA withdrawing $33 million in a single day. Contract short squeezes and spot bleeding create sharper contradictions than BTC.
The real judge will be the FOMC on October 27-28. Rate cuts are priced in, but there is fear of a "hawkish cut" — a cut that implies no next one. BTC can't break through 87,371; crowded bulls are the biggest risk. ETH holding 2,430-2,440 and shorts covering is the cleanest short-term gain.

Sixty days collected 140 comments, the dispute is about classification, the proposal offers exemptions.
▪️ Comment period ended on 10/20; proposal submitted on 8/18, published in the Federal Register on 8/21
▪️ About 140 comments in total, including 6 anonymous
▪️ Comments focused on the boundaries of the safe harbor provision and transition arrangements after exemption expiration
▪️ Two paths: startup tier with a four-year cumulative cap of $5 million, mid-tier with $75 million over twelve months
▪️ The two paths differ by 15 times
▪️ End of comment period does not mean effective; SEC still needs to review and vote on the final version
The disagreement is not about how many categories tokens should be divided into, but how far this proposal postpones the classification issue.
Registration exemptions govern the act of issuance, while securities characterization governs the identity of the asset. The former can set thresholds, deadlines, and caps; the latter must provide a standard for judgment. The proposal chose the former because it can be codified and expire.
The direction is to wait and see — if the final draft adds "no re-characterization due to price changes during the exemption period," it means this issue is still unresolved; the mid-tier $75 million cap being lowered indicates a preference to keep projects in the startup tier. The expiration condition lies with Congress.$BTC bears suffered heavy losses!
Tonight, everyone is shouting for a bull comeback.
Shorts were just liquidated for nearly $200 million. In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $279 million, with shorts accounting for 69.8%. Short liquidations for Bitcoin alone accounted for as high as 82.6%. The price pushed from 81,322 to 83,439, and a single $11.96 million BTC short on Binance was directly bought out.
The short squeeze was very intense. ETFs also came back to support, with a net inflow of $527 million on October 19th alone. BlackRock's IBIT contributed $665 million, the largest single-day inflow in nearly a month.
It seems everything is heading towards a "breakout," right?
But the 84,500 resistance wall has already blocked the price three times.
Look closely: shorts were liquidated, ETFs turned positive, yet the price still hovers around 83,000, just a breath away from 84,500. Three attempts, three failures. The short squeeze can fuel you, but it can't give you a breakout. A breakout requires incremental buying above the resistance level, not just a burst after short stop-loss orders are swept.
So my view is simple: shorts were bought out, but buying out shorts doesn't mean the bulls have returned. If 84,500 can't be surpassed, this is just a nice short squeeze, not a trend reversal.
A short squeeze can get you to the door, but whether you get in depends on if anyone is willing to catch you inside the door. Today's rise in BTC and DOOD is driven by completely different factors: BTC's increase is a resonance repair of macro sentiment and capital flow, while DOOD's surge is purely a rebound driven by exchange liquidity after an oversell.
📈 BTC returns to $83,000: Resonance of three layers of logic
First layer: External risk appetite warms up
Overnight, strong earnings reports from US tech stocks lifted the Nasdaq index by 1.1%, boosting global risk asset sentiment. Bitcoin rose 1.5% at one point, reaching the highest level since October 14, with mainstream tokens like ETH, SOL, and HYPE generally up 1%-2%.
Second layer: ETF capital provides substantial support
The cryptocurrency spot ETF saw a net inflow of $526.7 million in a single day, the largest daily amount in nearly a month, marking the second consecutive day of net inflows. This is the key difference from a pure sentiment-driven pulse in this rebound—there is real incremental capital supporting it.
Third layer: Policy and derivatives structure boost
Trump publicly urged Congress to pass the CLARITY Act (Digital Asset Market Transparency Act), causing short-term regulatory expectations to heat up and acting as a sentiment catalyst. Meanwhile, the price break of key levels triggered short covering, amplifying the gains. Over 73,000 people were liquidated intraday, further confirming the existence of a short squeeze.
However, one suppressing variable remains: the 10-year US Treasury yield is still above 5%, Brent crude hovers around $110 per barrel, and the FOMC meeting (October 27-28) is approaching. #奈飞Q3盈利超预期,广告业务增长放缓 The Alpenglow upgrade reminds us that technological changes can alter how data is interpreted. It plans to activate a new consensus mechanism today, moving validator node voting off-chain, aiming to reduce transaction finalization time to about 150 milliseconds. Existing information confirms the plan and design goals but is insufficient to verify that the mainnet migration has been completed and is stable. If voting is no longer counted as on-chain transactions, a decrease in total transactions does not necessarily mean user loss; more useful observations are user transactions, actual confirmation delays, and operational stability. The reduction in validator node voting costs cannot be directly inferred as an increase in token holding yields. Lastly, the recent website certificate private key compromise is a network connection authentication risk and does not equate to the cryptographic wallet signature algorithm being cracked. If attackers can intercept connections, they might impersonate websites by forging certificates; Firefox's standard configuration has already received certificate interception countermeasures, with Firefox Android receiving additional fixes today. Ordinary users should keep their browsers updated, and those running transaction scripts should also verify the certificates and security updates of their runtime environments; one cannot assume all backend tools are secure just because the browser has been fixed. There is insufficient evidence here to claim that crypto asset theft has occurred. My judgment remains: institutional development and network improvements are worth monitoring but should be evaluated separately through approvals and actual business, continuous capital inflows, and mainnet operational results. Short-term improvements in macro risk appetite cannot replace these concrete proofs. 84% of people bet Tesla's earnings will exceed expectations,

Don't be fooled by the illusion of synchronized market rallies; ETF fund data has already revealed the strength disparity!
【Volume and Market Observation】Fund preferences clearly tilt towards BTC, while ETH continues to face institutional fund withdrawals, raising concerns about its momentum.
On a single-day basis, BTC ETFs saw a slight net outflow of 403 units, but over a 7-day period, there was still a net inflow of 2,528 units, indicating institutions are retaining mid-to-long-term positions; in contrast, ETH ETFs had a net outflow of 12,700 units today, with a 7-day cumulative net outflow reaching 155,100 units, showing continuous institutional fund exits.
This set of fund data perfectly confirms the strength divergence seen in the 30-minute chart: BTC is the core asset where funds are willing to stay, with short-term outflows merely profit-taking; ETH is now passively following the rally without incremental funds supporting it, relying entirely on BTC's momentum. Once BTC slows down, ETH will be the first to face pressure and decline.
The signal of institutions voting with their feet is very clear—funds in this round of the market prefer to hedge with BTC. ETH's rebound is essentially a follow-up rally without backing from major funds.

Opening the box, it’s not Wagyu beef, but freshly minted US dollar deposit tokens on the Ethereum mainnet—still steaming with 24/7 continuous heat. The century-old bank’s broth base has been brought whole onto the blazing stove of the blockchain.
JPMD is basically a concentrated essence of US dollar deposits: institutional clients marinate their cash in the bank’s vat, then pick up, transfer, settle, and use it as collateral on-chain, serving dishes around the clock without pause. Previously, institutional funds were dine-in customers, stuck waiting in the private rooms of traditional clearing; now, a delivery window is open, ready on demand, even skipping the late-night food stall.
JPMorgan chose Ethereum as the stove for the same reason a master chef picks a stove: stable heat, rich base flavor, and a complete supply chain. On-chain liquidity is ready-made broth, tokenized assets are pre-cut side dishes, no need to start from fish cleaning and meat chopping. If institutions want to cook up RWA as a big dish, Ethereum is at least a central kitchen that can keep serving, not a makeshift campfire.
US stock token assets like $xMSTR move in tandem, like pre-made dishes next to freshly cooked stalls—the main course flips in the pan, and the side dishes automatically follow. Capital smells the aroma and comes, but smelling and picking up chopsticks are two different things.
Will institutions more broadly use on-chain bank deposits as the settlement base for digital assets and RWA? My verdict in one sentence: this ladle of broth truly brings out the base flavor, the heat is about 70%, but whoever rushes to throw in a handful of leverage chili will burn their stomach first. The kitchen’s biggest taboo is tasting the soup and thinking the whole pot is done—JPMD just went into the pot, the stove isn’t fully heated yet, those eager to stir-fry on high heat should first check if they have the antidote ready on their cutting board. #jpmcoinonethereum#SpaceXQ3 revenue surged 161%, AI business becomes the main growth driver The most worth discussing about SpaceX may not be the 161% revenue surge, but rather: what kind of company should we really consider it to be?

However, one detail is easy to overlook: highest revenue does not mean highest profit. The AI business had an operating profit of about $431 million that quarter, while the Starlink-connected business reached $2.367 billion.

This is not cooperation; it's a textbook exchange. Stablecoins originally wanted to create a new game, change the rules, and start a new round outside the board; now they have been invited back to the board with a clearly defined role—fund routing and exchange. Among the 175M Visa merchant squares, the system remains unchanged, acquiring remains unchanged, merchant habits remain unchanged; only the underlying liquidity fuel pipeline moves. The pattern hasn't changed, only the pieces have changed color.
I've played chess for thirty years, and what I fear most is never a strong attack from the opponent, but when the opponent "voluntarily yields the center" and you mistakenly think you've gained an advantage. Visa's move is a typical preventive play: placing a piece to occupy a position, pruning the opening tree for the next three to five years in advance. It doesn't need to win the war against stablecoins; it only needs to ensure that no matter who wins, the moves must pass through its squares.
The key to the midgame lies in Mesh. It performs conversion and scheduling, like a bishop moving diagonally in the backend—seemingly taking a detour but actually controlling all diagonal channels. Zero modification cost on the merchant side means the migration resistance of this channel is almost zero. Things with zero migration resistance spread not by marketing but by inertia. Once inertia forms, it becomes a spatial advantage.
But the opponent is not asleep. Mastercard and BVNK are pressing simultaneously, adding another layer of risk identification; independent platforms are integrating USD stablecoins into checkout. This is a symmetrical response, a multi-line opening, with neither side gaining extra pieces. I don't watch who calls check first; I watch who has a thicker reserve of pieces.
So the real question is never "can coverage turn into demand," but rather—how thick is the cash flow on these squares? Are consumers using payment, or arbitrage? If transaction volume relies on interest spread rather than settlement necessity, then it's a pawn rushing too fast without rook support behind it, becoming more fragile the further it advances.
The decisive move in the endgame is not at the checkout counter. The checkout is the front stage, for the audience to see. The real endgame is in the backend balance sheet: whoever holds the settlement layer's edge pawn has the right to talk about promotion. The front stage's general can be blocked, but the settlement layer's pawn cannot be stopped.
Visa's move is not dazzling, but extremely hard to refute—it has changed the opponent's attack direction from "starting a new game" to "completing the moves on the squares I provide." #visameshstablecoinpay #摩根大通首次将比特币纳入长期收益预测
$BTC It provided a figure that outperforms the US stock market, while saying this figure is not included in the model.
▪️ "2027 Long-Term Capital Market Assumptions" includes it for the first time, baseline scenario 10% over ten to fifteen years
▪️ Comparison: Large-cap stocks 7.5%, REITs 8.2%, gold 5.5%, bonds 5.6%–6.6%
▪️ Pessimistic −9.7%, optimistic 17%; annualized volatility 55%, about three times that of large-cap stocks
▪️ Every 1 point of volatility corresponds to 0.18 points of return, large-cap stocks about 0.41
▪️ Its classification as a "speculative asset" remains unchanged
▪️ This is an assumption, not realized
The disagreement is not whether Bitcoin can outperform the US stock market, but whether the 2.5 points of outperformance are enough to compensate for the extra 37 points of volatility.
When including an asset in a portfolio, it’s not just about expected returns, but also its contribution to portfolio volatility. An asset with 55% volatility placed in a 15% to 18% portfolio, even at just 1%, will raise overall volatility.
The stance is to wait and see — only when specific allocation ratio recommendations appear can it be considered truly accepted. The failure condition is if volatility is suppressed to around 30% and maintained for a year.Delivery volume is the facade, but gross margin is the load-bearing wall. Tesla delivered a hoisting report of 486,532 steel beams, indeed surpassing the expected line on the blueprint, but a 2.1% year-on-year shrinkage in cross-sectional size means this tower is transitioning from an expansion phase to a structural reinforcement phase—outsiders look at the floor height, experts focus only on the core tube's reinforcement ratio.
The value of any supertall building has never depended on how many floors it tops out at, but on the turnover rate of vertical transportation and lateral stiffness under wind load. Automotive gross margin is the shear wall system of this building, and cash flow is the anti-floating anchor rods of the foundation slab. Delivery volume exceeding expectations only proves the tower crane efficiency is acceptable, but if the concrete grade of per-vehicle profit continues to downgrade, the entire structure will reveal expansion joints in the next cycle of wind pressure testing. Robotaxi and Optimus are the owner's newly approved expansion blueprints—no matter how dazzling the blueprints are, without construction permits and ready-mix concrete supply contracts, they are just renderings. I've seen too many projects die at the secondary structure masonry stage; steel structures are hoisted quickly, but the MEP pipeline integration is a mess.
The linkage of the US stock token $xBMNR is essentially a dynamic load test for this skyscraper under construction. The market uses delivery data as a temporary construction elevator to rush upward, but what truly determines how many floors it can weld shut is the weld quality at the node of automotive business gross margin in the evening's financial report—is it a cash gross profit base mold of $4,500 per vehicle, or a decorative surface layer painted by carbon credits? The AI narrative is the rooftop garden without standard floor structural support; the load cannot be transmitted downward.
What a top-tier project fears most is not high land prices, but mismatches between geotechnical reports and structural calculation books. Delivery volume is the foot traffic at the sales office, gross margin is the rebound value after actual measurement, and cash flow is the payment node from the client. Misalignment of the three is a typical case of stealing floor height. At that time, valuation anchors linked to $xBMNR will be like removing formwork before the post-cast strip is closed—the cracking is an inevitable timing issue. #TeslaQ3ProfitAndMargins
