Since Bitcoin surged to 86000, it has been stuck here in a half-dead state, unable to rise, and when it dips to around 80400, it quickly gets pulled back. Looking at the Square, many people are complaining that the market is boring and that the manipulators are just drawing lines. Actually, from the market perspective, this is a typical case of large funds probing back and forth, with no one wanting to reveal their hand first.
The range from 83000 to 86000 is originally a heavy zone of trapped positions, with over a million coins locked up, and it is also the breakeven line for many ETF institutions. When the price pushes to 86000, the funds that were trapped earlier will definitely run first. So in the past two weeks, we can clearly see ETF funds flowing out. The main players are not stupid; forcibly pushing the price up now would just give others a free exit. It's better to withdraw the buy orders and let the price drop to wash out some positions.
But if they try to push it down, it obviously can't go too deep. As long as it falls to the 80000 to 81000 range, you can feel large buy orders supporting it beneath the surface. Combined with on-chain data, large whale addresses have actually been quietly accumulating during the pullbacks over the past month. So the current situation is very delicate: short-term institutions are selling on rebounds, long-term whales are suppressing the price to accumulate, both sides are testing each other's bottom lines, and neither is in a hurry to break the price out of the range.
Moreover, with macro news not yet finalized before the end of the month and interest rate hike/cut expectations fluctuating, large funds are waiting for a clear directional signal. At times like this, there's really no need for us to chase the ups and downs in the middle of the box range $BTC Order Book Strength Ranking
5-minute median slippage, estimated by order book
$CVX large buy cost rising. Simulated slippage for a 100,000 scale buy increased from 2.17% to 2.49%. The deterioration is an execution warning, not a directional signal.
$SMCI large buy cost decreasing. Simulated slippage for a 100,000 scale buy dropped from 1.19% to 1.05%. Comparing adjacent windows, execution constraints are loosening.
$MEW large sell cost decreasing. Simulated slippage for a 100,000 scale sell dropped from 1.37% to 1.02%. Compared to the previous window, large trade costs are decreasing.Just pulled up the liquidation heatmap for three coins and took a quick look. Honestly, it gave me chills down my spine.
Not because of a drop, but because it's too symmetrical. $BTC short pain point at 83920, +1.49% from current price; long pain point at 82206, -0.58% from current price. $ETH and $SOL almost replicate the same ratio — the short-side resistance above is nearly three times farther from the current price than the long-side stop-loss below. In plain terms: the big players hang the short sellers' “bait” high up, and bury the long holders' “meat grinder” right underfoot. If you chase longs, you're close to death; if you top out, you're farther from death. But that farther path is never meant for retail.
Let's start with $BTC. Current price 82687, stuck just above Wintermute's so-called “key short-term support” at 82500, precarious but not broken yet. The 43.45 million short contracts at 83920 are like a carrot dangling in front of a donkey — if price rises 1.49%, shorts will be forced to cover, creating a short squeeze push. But the question is, who will drive that rally? Whales are indeed covering: wallets holding 1,000 to 10,000 $BTC have shifted net holdings in 60 days from reducing 62,600 coins to increasing 5,230 coins; whales are quietly accumulating. But the spot market is not cooperating — Coinbase premium index is -0.1416%, exchanges see a weekly net inflow of 8,428 $BTC, short-term holders' SOPR is stuck at 0.9982, selling at slight losses. Whales are hoarding, retail is fleeing; such divergence usually doesn't resolve with sideways trading but with a sharp move.
$ETH is even more conflicted. At 2438 price, the short pain point at 2474 holds only 25.05 million contracts, while the long stop-loss at 2424 piles up 29.52 million. Shorts have less money and are closer; longs have more money and are farther away. This means resistance to sweeping shorts upward is less than the resistance to crushing longs downward. The news is also torn: on one side, nearly $1 billion outflow from ETFs in October, whales adding short positions on Hyperliquid; on the other, JPMorgan deployed JPM Coin directly on Ethereum mainnet, BitMine holdings surged to 6.04 million coins, 4.9% of circulating supply, and Tom Lee calls the pullback an attractive risk-reward opportunity. ETFs are selling, industry capital is buying. Which side you believe determines where you stand this week.
$SOL is the most “speculative” of the three. Current price 105.85, short pain point at 107.51 just 1.56% away, but long pain point at 103.23 is far at -2.47%. Today is Alpenglow upgrade day, finality reduced from 12.8 seconds to 150 milliseconds, touted as Solana's biggest consensus upgrade ever. Circle minted 500 million USDC on Solana within six hours, on-chain demand visibly strong. But $SOL ETF funds' 7-day average net outflow has dropped to 40,000 $SOL daily, the deepest outflow reading since 2026. Whether the upgrade is “buy the rumor, sell the news” or a “real start” will be clear tonight or tomorrow morning. The longs below 103.23 are the most fragile link in this gamble.
On the macro level, everyone is waiting for the October 28 FOMC. CPI rose from 3.4% to 3.7%, core month-on-month 0.3% beating expectations, Nasdaq fell 5.52% in a week, but $BTC only dropped 1.99%. The drop where it should happen means someone is buying below. But Wintermute's original words: implied volatility is low, the market may be underestimating future volatility risk. When volatility is underestimated, those points on the liquidation map are not references, but scripts.
I won't give direction. Just one judgment: when the short pain point distance is only one-third of the long pain point distance, the tolerance for going long is much lower than you think.
Are you holding long or short now? Drop a comment, I'll see which side has more people.
$BTC $ETH $SOL #BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限 #FOMC前最后一组数据:本周五非农 #SpaceXQ3营收大增161%,AI业务成增长主力 Conclusion first: I don't know. I think if the $BTC price effectively breaks through the 83,500 level, I will be bullish and believe there is a high probability of resuming a short-term bullish trend with oscillating upward movement. Today is Wednesday, and by the end of Friday, if the price cannot achieve this move, it either has already fallen or is preparing to fall. Alternatively, the price might fall back to the 81,500 level. Such price oscillations are probably closely related to the interest rate hike probability at the end of this month. According to observation websites, the probability of a Federal Reserve rate hike at the end of this month has dropped to 14.9%, which is very low. It has been decreasing during this period, from about 50% to now less than 20%. The market is almost unanimously betting on no change. I remember after the CPI release on October 14, the rate hike probability once surged from around 20% to 50%, but then quickly fell back after Fed Chair Powell released dovish signals in Bangkok on October 16. The consensus that there will be no rate hike at the end of this month has almost been fully priced in by the market. However, after both CPI and PPI exceeded expectations, inflation has not truly been tamed; the Fed has only postponed the timing of rate hikes. The real pressure is in December, not October. The market heavily predicts a rate hike in December, with the probability of at least one more hike this year as high as 91.8%. If there is still no rate hike this month, then the price not falling makes sense, meaning the positive expectations have been digested. Additionally, there seem to be signs of substantial progress in the US-Iran negotiations. The Strait of Hormuz may reopen within seven days Yesterday, the ETF saw a single-day inflow of 527 million, the largest since September 22. I eagerly opened the market screen only to see BTC stuck at 82,800, as if nothing happened.
Keep in mind, last week these folks were still pulling out, withdrawing 228 million over five days. Just a few days later, the scene flipped, and in one day they made back twice what was withdrawn last week.
The money returned, but the price didn’t move. This is more interesting than the price going up or down itself.
My understanding is that new money is lining up at the door to enter, while old money inside is handing off coins to the outside. The two sides hedge each other, so the price plays dead. This kind of position is the most grueling and deceptive—looks lifeless on the surface, but there’s turnover underneath.
Also, among the ETF money bought last week, quite a bit was from futures-spot arbitrage traders. They profit from price differences, not price moves. The flatter the price, the more comfortable they are. How much of this 527 million is genuine buying versus arbitrage trading is what we should watch closely next.
Another reason is everyone is waiting for the FOMC’s signal at the end of the month. The pause on rate hikes is heavily bet on, and no one wants to move first before the announcement.
So don’t be fooled by the dull market; the money’s attitude has already changed. The money comes back first, the price moves later.
I’ll put it out there: if the ETF keeps seeing net inflows every day for the next three days, but BTC can’t break past 84,000, it means more coins are being handed off than entering. I’ll admit that. But if volume surges and breaks through 84,000, I’ll come back with good news for everyone.
What do you all think? Is this 527 million real money coming back to bottom-fish, or just arbitrage traders back to move bricks again?

After reviewing the liquidation data for these 12 hours, the biggest takeaway isn’t "who liquidated the most," but the cost of being on the wrong side of the market—it's on a completely different scale.
$ZEC: Shorts Grounded and Crushed
$ZEC 12-hour short liquidations totaled 6.21 million, while longs only suffered a pitiful 550,000. This is no coincidence. From April 8 to 10, $ZEC surged from $269 to $385, a more than 43% jump in two days. On-chain whales opened 10x shorts at 365.8, with a liquidation price of 411.5, and the price broke as soon as it touched that level. Shorts thought they were playing "mean reversion," but the market delivered a "narrative revaluation." Backed by the NU7 upgrade and deflation expectations, shorts adding leverage against the narrative at this point were essentially sticking their heads into a meat grinder. Short liquidations dominated absolutely—this is the market telling you with real money: the short thesis at this level is not supported by buyers.
$ETH: Longs Are the Ones Getting Harvested
$ETH total liquidations reached 6.27 million, with longs at 3.62 million and shorts at 2.65 million. The direction is completely opposite to $ZEC. The reason is straightforward: in mid-April, $ETH spot ETFs repeatedly saw daily outflows exceeding $40-50 million, with the largest single-day outflow hitting $200 million; on-chain whales actively sold $ETH and even took DeFi loans to avoid forced liquidation, dumping over 42,000 $ETH into exchanges; new public chain ecosystems are still siphoning off $ETH liquidity and capital. Longs faced not just a simple pullback but a triple squeeze from ETF outflows, whale deleveraging, and ecosystem migration. Leveraged longs were peeled off layer by layer during the decline; every one of the 3.62 million long liquidations represents a "thought it was the bottom" judgment proven wrong.
$BTC: Shorts Repeatedly Grounded by Event-Driven Pulses
$BTC short liquidations totaled 2.87 million, while longs only 710,000. This structure is interesting. $BTC shorts weren’t blown out by a one-sided rally but by event-driven pulse liquidations. When the ceasefire signal came on April 23, $BTC surged toward 80,000, and about $339 million in shorts were liquidated at that moment. But the price couldn’t hold and fell back into a range. The liquidation heatmap shows 78,500-80,000 as a dense short liquidation zone, and 76,000-77,000 as a long liquidation zone—both sides have triggers, a classic two-way harvest structure. Shorts were swept in these 12 hours not because the trend won, but because news-driven pulses ignited the densest short positions first.
Looking at it all together, the most striking fact in these 12 hours is:
$ZEC shorts died to the narrative, $ETH longs died to capital flows, and $BTC shorts died to news pulses. Three types of liquidations, three completely different driving logics, but the same outcome: leverage has no buffer the moment the direction is wrong.
In April, the total open interest across the market has already halved from its peak; leverage is undergoing systemic contraction. This means current liquidations are not just "a washout in a bull market pullback" but happening in a structure with thinning liquidity and lower tolerance for errors. The same needle is noise when leverage is thick, but a tombstone when leverage is thin.
Which direction are you holding now? Drop a comment below; I want to see who’s holding strong and who’s already given up.

The market punishes all defiance; never go against big money. Understanding the cards is the key to survival!
Everyone knows last night's market action. Those who chased short $ZEC around 1136 must be feeling cold now looking at the current price. Last night it surged straight up to 160 dollars—this is no joke.
Whales are frantically withdrawing coins, big players are going long with 10x leverage for tens of millions, even the big player who cleared out Google positions is buying $ZEC longs!
Smart money shorts are already down 1.62 million USD;
The liquidation zone for shorts is densely packed between 1270-1320 on the liquidation chart. The 1-hour bullish momentum is very strong, and the main force's intention is clear: to force shorts to cover and sweep up the market!
To save yourself, Fan Xin gives you 3 tips:
Cut losses on dips: Around 1240-1245 on the rebound, cut half your position first to stay safe.
Lock positions to hedge: Don't stubbornly hold heavy positions! At the current price near 1260, open longs to lock losses and use long profits to offset shorts.
Never add to positions: Absolutely do not blindly add to shorts! The trend is upward; adding against the trend is extremely dangerous.
This short squeeze drama is just beginning. Where is the next turning point? Fan Xin has tips for you!
#BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限 #奈飞Q3盈利超预期,广告业务增长放缓
Netflix released its Q3 earnings report, with net profit and earnings per share exceeding market expectations. Subscription price increases and member expansion drove profit growth, and operating profit margin continued to improve. However, the advertising business, as the second growth curve, fell short of expectations, leading the company to lower its full-year advertising revenue guidance.
Overall revenue met expectations, but year-on-year growth was at a recent low, heavily reliant on member price hikes. The advertising business was originally highly anticipated by the market, but the target was lowered mainly due to delays in launching advertising tools and targeted attribution features, as well as weak advertiser willingness to invest. Compared to the mature advertising ecosystems of Meta and Google, Netflix's advertising system still has shortcomings.
The financial report shows the company’s cash flow performance is stable, but concerns about growth structure have suppressed valuation, and the stock price weakened after hours following the report. The market is beginning to reprice Netflix: it remains a high-quality cash flow subscription platform, but the potential for advertising monetization has been compressed. Future focus will be on advertising technology iteration and the rollout pace of advertising packages in overseas markets. If the advertising business continues to struggle, Netflix’s long-term growth ceiling will be further limited.#BTC spot ETF continuous net inflow, limited market reaction Recently, the US BTC spot ETF has continuously recorded net inflows, with institutional funds steadily entering the market, but the price of Bitcoin has not strengthened accordingly, showing a clear divergence between capital flow and market performance.
The core reason behind this is that many ETF funds engage in basis hedging and arbitrage trading, and have not fully converted into active spot buying. At the same time, long-term holders at high levels continue to realize profits, and selling pressure offsets the new demand from ETFs. On the macro level, repeated expectations of interest rate cuts and high US Treasury yields suppress overall risk asset appetite. The correlation between Bitcoin and US stocks has increased, making it difficult for isolated capital inflows to reverse the broader environment.
Currently, market liquidity is weak, with incremental funds concentrated only in the BTC spot ETF sector. Altcoins and stablecoins show weak expansion, on-exchange long positions lack confidence, and funds are more for base position allocation rather than active price pushing.
This divergence means that ETF inflows are no longer a simple bullish signal. They more represent institutional long-term phased positioning. To break through key resistance in the short term, a warming of macro expectations and synchronized improvement in on-exchange liquidity are needed; otherwise, a volatile pattern is likely to persist. USDC growth is about more than the amount of stablecoin in circulation.
For Circle, the bigger opportunity is expanding real-world usage across payments, settlements, and on-chain financial services.
But increased circulation alone doesn't tell the whole story. Adoption, distribution costs, and revenue drivers matter too.
As Q3 results approach, I'll be watching whether USDC's growth translates into sustainable business performance. 🔥Pump and dump! The 83,000 peak was fleeting, BTC is waiting for this turning point
Liquidation data reveals market contradictions: In the past 24 hours, the entire network saw $194 million in short liquidations, while longs only liquidated $84.75 million. Shorts have been continuously pushed up below 83,000, but BTC's upward momentum is weak, quickly falling back to 81,675 after touching 83,060. The market leans bullish but lacks sustained buying power.
$BTC's resistance at 87,370 is the short-term lifeline; holding above this on the daily chart confirms a rebound. Support at 80,400 combined with the 50-day moving average is the primary defense; breaking below points to 76,140. Funding rates remain positive, showing some long resilience, but new leveraged funds are cautious, with neither bulls nor bears making major moves.
$ETH shows sharper divergence: short liquidations of $64.3 million are twice that of longs. Price rebounded from 2,375 to 2,470, holding firm near 2,450, signaling a short squeeze. However, spot ETFs have seen net outflows for five consecutive days, with BlackRock's ETHA ETF withdrawing $33 million in a single day, indicating contract short squeezes amid ongoing spot outflows.
The real critical point is the FOMC on October 27-28. Rate cut expectations have been priced in; the biggest risk is a hawkish rate cut. If BTC repeatedly fails to break 87,370, crowded longs become a risk; if ETH holds 2,435-2,440, short covering could present a good short-term opportunity. #BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限 #奈飞Q3盈利超预期,广告业务增长放缓 Why is it that the true bottom of a bear market often isn't when panic is at its peak, but rather when everyone is too lazy to discuss it?
Right after a sharp drop, the market is actually still lively.
Some are bottom-fishing, some are shouting zero, debates about the next candlestick happen in groups, trading volume and contract open interest are high. It looks grim, but everyone is still watching the price, which means hope hasn't truly disappeared.
I used to enter the market after the first big drop, thinking panic had peaked, but the price would rebound for a few days and then start a long, slow decline.
No waterfall crashes, no news, just a little drop every day until no one in the group talks about coins, no one chases rebounds, and even when projects release good news, there's little trading. Only then did I realize: the hardest part of the market isn't the sharp drop, but time.
Sharp drops liquidate leverage; slow declines kill confidence.
The former causes forced liquidations, the latter makes people leave voluntarily. The bottom often comes when trapped holders stop adding positions, short-term traders lose interest, and even long-term holders begin to doubt. Only then can chips gradually transfer from impatient hands to those willing to wait.
Of course, quiet doesn't mean the bottom is immediately reached. You still need to see if selling pressure is exhausted, if bad news can continue to hit new lows, and whether the lows after rebounds gradually rise.
Remember: the top forms when everyone fears missing out; the bottom matures when most people no longer want to participate; the market's most complete surrender is not a scream, but silence.#SpaceXQ3 revenue surged 161%, AI business becomes the main growth driver. Q3 revenue was $14.6 billion, net profit $4.4 billion. I believe a rise on the first full trading day is highly probable, but the magnitude and sustainability are uncertain.
First, this is SpaceX's second quarterly report since going public and the first to achieve quarterly profitability.
Factors supporting the rise:
- Fundamentals exceeded expectations significantly: revenue, profit, and AI business shifting from investment phase to monetization and profitability, which is the market's most focused narrative.
- Sentiment and catalysts: Musk expressed optimism on computing power expansion and future revenue targets during the call, with some optimism already reflected after hours.
Factors suppressing the rise:
- Lock-up release: about 1.3 billion shares may unlock around two days after the earnings report, increasing supply pressure; similar historical events may cause volatility.
- High capital expenditure and valuation: AI investment remains huge, short-term free cash flow is under pressure; stock price still has a premium relative to IPO price, valuation is not low.
A rise on the first full trading day is highly probable, with magnitude possibly ranging from low to mid single digits up to high single digits, depending on opening sentiment, digestion of lock-up concerns, and intraday capital flow.
This is only a short-term analysis based on the released earnings report and after-hours reaction and does not constitute investment advice.$ETH
Outperforming Bitcoin, is capital starting to favor Ethereum?
In today's afternoon spot market snapshot, ETH's 24-hour price change is +1.76%, ranging from 2377.6 to 2478 USDT.
In the same snapshot, the increase exceeds Bitcoin's 1.16%, indicating an improved short-term relative performance. However, relative strength is not proof of on-chain revenue or institutional accumulation; it may also come from a rebound following a highly elastic asset.
If the price ratio of ETH to BTC continues to rise, the rotation explanation is more credible; if the dollar price rises but the ratio falls back, it should still be understood as a market-wide rebound.#BTC spot ETF continuous net inflow, limited market reaction
#October FOMC approaching, what are the uncertainties with the Fed pausing rate hikes?
BTC spot ETFs have been seeing net inflows, but the market hasn't surged significantly, indicating that market funds are currently cautious. Everyone is watching the upcoming FOMC closely and is reluctant to go all in.
Hynix, SanDisk, and SpaceX rockets are linked together now.
Hynix's recent big rally wasn't pulled out of thin air; the core reasons are HBM orders and DRAM spot price increases. Institutions have raised earnings forecasts. It was oversold before, so this is a rebound. But now the problem is that this positive news has already been partially priced in by the market. The FOMC is the biggest uncertainty. As long as the Fed's speech is hawkish and US Treasury yields rise, growth stocks will be the first to be hit, with Hynix taking the lead. It is deeply tied to Nvidia, and AI computing demand is its foundation. If the market loosens expectations for AI capital expenditure, the gains can easily be given back.
SanDisk and Hynix are like hard-to-separate brothers in the memory sector, rising and falling together. Hynix focuses on HBM high-speed memory, while SanDisk leans more towards NAND flash memory. AI servers also require a large amount of flash memory. Yesterday, the memory sector resonated collectively, and SanDisk followed Hynix's rally. But SanDisk's elasticity is weaker, and its risk lies in that if cloud providers slow capital expenditure, flash memory prices will be pressured first. Simply put, Hynix is the sector leader, and SanDisk is the follower, watching Hynix's moves.
SpaceX just released its full financial report with a big revenue increase, and the market is now speculating on its IPO expectations. This line is indirectly linked to storage chips: SpaceX's satellites, Starlink, and future AI computing infrastructure all require a large number of chips and storage. When market risk appetite warms up, funds will simultaneously speculate on AI storage and commercial aerospace. But SpaceX hasn't officially gone public yet, so this is expectation-driven speculation with extreme volatility. Once the positive news is realized, it can easily lead to a sell-off without sustained real performance support.
BTC spot ETFs continue to see net inflows, but the market reaction is limited.
Essentially, funds are waiting on the FOMC and are hesitant to enter aggressively. This is a typical "buying on expectations" phase.
• If the Fed signals dovishness, confirming a pause in rate hikes and US Treasury yields decline: Hynix and SanDisk will continue to strengthen, SpaceX aerospace concepts will take off, and risk assets like BTC and ETH will benefit simultaneously.
• If the Fed signals hawkishness, implying possible future rate hikes: yesterday's rebound in the memory sector will turn into a one-day wonder, funds will collectively exit, speculative stocks like SpaceX will fall harder, and even if BTC ETFs see inflows, they won't withstand the selling pressure caused by macro liquidity tightening.
$SPCX $SKHYNIX $ZEC One of today's most notable divergences: the Fear and Greed Index jumped from 55 to 63, entering the "Greed" zone in a single day; meanwhile, Bitcoin ETF inflows shrank drastically from $526.7 million to $23.19 million — sentiment is chasing, but money is withdrawing.
What changed? The sentiment indicator surged 8 points in one day, but ETF inflows contracted by 96%. The big $526 million bullish candle from the previous day did not translate into sustained buying.
Why is this worth attention? This round of "Greed" is a passive recovery driven by short liquidations and a single-day ETF inflow rebound, not continuous new capital entering. Sentiment is running ahead of the money.
Which observation is more supported? It supports "sentiment recovers faster than capital confirmation" rather than incremental inflows. Since October, ETFs have still seen net outflows; a single day's inflow does not change the true stance of the funds.
Next, focus on one thing: whether ETF inflows can hold for three consecutive days, not just a single-day spike. If inflows continue to shrink back to the tens of millions in the next couple of days, this "Greed" is hollow; if volume continues to expand, then it's time to reassess the weight of the sentiment indicator.
Sentiment is already shouting "Greed" — will the money follow, or turn away? Let's discuss in the comments. $BTC $ETH $In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $279 million, with shorts accounting for nearly 70% — the amount liquidated from shorts is more than twice that of longs. BTC only moved from 81,000 to 83,000, but the liquidations were mostly shorts.
What changed? Shorts were concentratedly liquidated around 83,000, with $125 million liquidated within an hour, but the funding rate did not spike extremely with the price.
Why is this worth noting? This is not a long rally; it’s a forced liquidation after crowded shorts. Meanwhile, after two consecutive weeks of net outflows, ETFs just recorded a single-day inflow of $526.7 million. These two events together indicate that the price movement is driven not by new buying but by a self-correction in position structure.
Which observation is more supported? It supports "short vulnerability exposed" rather than "trend confirmation." The liquidation map shows that the short liquidation intensity above $86,554 is only 963 million, while the long liquidation intensity below $78,384 is as high as 1.846 billion — the short stop-loss line is closer, and longs are actually more crowded.
Next, focus on one thing: after this round of short liquidations, whether the funding rate can turn positive again and stabilize. If the rate stays near zero or turns negative, it means shorts are still increasing and the squeeze may not be over; if the rate rises moderately, then it’s time to watch if spot follows.
This round of shorts, were they truly defeated or just repositioned? Discuss in the comments. $BTC In the futures market, backend processes like margin transfers and settlements are rarely discussed. It's only when funds arrive slowly that people realize how important the efficiency of these channels is. I see the news about stablecoins in Japan from this perspective: first, see if refunds can be handled smoothly before discussing how much the concept is worth.
According to CoinPost, Japan's Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Tetsunori Ibayashi, stated on October 21 that they will study introducing stablecoins into the tax exemption system for tourists visiting Japan. The Tourism Agency announced that from November 1, purchased goods will switch to a refund method where tax is returned after confirming departure. It is important to distinguish that the refund system adjustment and stablecoin implementation are not the same thing; the latter is still under study.
My judgment is that this is a positive signal for stablecoin payment applications, but it is not yet a business benefit that can be directly realized. In traditional finance, this is more like a settlement channel reform; the crypto market is different, as tourists still face wallet, exchange, and usage barriers. If refunds are faster but come with extra exchange costs and operational steps, I suspect ordinary tourists may not be willing to use it; if these hassles can be hidden in the backend, payment service providers will have a chance to meet real demand.
My old-fashioned thinking still focuses on processes and costs, and I’m not in a hurry to equate "study" with "adoption." Are there any friends who have also transitioned from traditional markets? Regarding tourist tax refunds, do you value speed of receipt more, or the peace of mind of having the refund returned directly to your bank card?Bitcoin has bounced back, but ETF demand is fading. Net inflows were $527M on October 19, then fell sharply to just $23.2M on the 20th. Price is recovering while institutional buying lags, so the rally's staying power is in doubt.
Key levels: $BTC at 83,440 and $ETH at 2,478. Breaking above and holding them is what matters.
I'm not chasing the highs. I'll wait for clearer confirmation from price action and capital flows.
#BTCETFInflowsContinue $SNDK SanDisk violently rebounded last night, but the real test is on October 29!!!
Last night, SanDisk surged about 6.5%, with its market value increasing by over 10 billion overnight, and the storage sector also collectively warmed up.
This rebound is not without reason: AI data centers still have strong demand for high-capacity SSDs, with enterprise orders lined up for the next few months; consumer electronics are also restocking; plus Jensen Huang and the South Korean finance minister both signaled continued semiconductor prosperity, clearly restoring capital sentiment.
But don’t rush to call it a trend reversal. Before this rebound, SanDisk’s stock price had already fallen significantly from its highs, so the short-term move is more of an oversold correction and sector resonance.
The real direction will be decided by the October 29 earnings report!
Last quarter, SanDisk delivered impressive results thanks to price increases and a data center boom, but the market is now more concerned about three things: whether price hikes can continue, if shipment volumes have kept pace, and whether next quarter’s guidance will slow down.
Personally, I’m a bit more cautious: the big logic of AI storage remains, but this rebound can’t simply be seen as a new major uptrend. If the guidance on October 29 continues to exceed expectations, especially with data center and NBM long-term orders continuing to grow, then any pullback will be an opportunity; if growth starts to clearly slow, capital will likely take profits on the good news.

Regarding Meta's earnings reports, in the last four reports, three showed declines. So this time, following the pattern, I also bet that its stock will drop after the earnings announcement.
However, I believe its earnings will exceed expectations. But exceeding expectations and stock price movements are never absolutely proportional.
Last week, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell for eight consecutive days, evaporating about $2 trillion, the longest streak since October 2008; it rebounded 2.4% on Monday, but some called it a "dead cat bounce." The bond market is becoming increasingly picky about AI financing.
In the early hours of October 22, Meta will release its Q3 report, being the first major AI spender to report this week.
The advertising side is likely not bad: market consensus revenue is 63.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.4%. But growth relies on price increases, with exposure growth slowing from 19% to 14%, and unit price rising 12% for two consecutive quarters. The key metric to watch is unit price: if it falls below 9% and exposure continues to slow, it indicates the AI bidding dividend has peaked. The Q4 guidance consensus is 73.7 billion; if it falls below 72 billion, the market will view it alongside the spending curve.
The real test is the 2027 capital expenditure. Management did not provide guidance last quarter; sell-side consensus is about 193 billion. The history is poor: in October last year, the first significant upward revision for 2026 was given, and the next day the stock dropped 11.3%; in the last four earnings reports, three showed declines. An acceptable range is within 195 billion or providing a phased plan; exceeding 220 billion without new revenue guidance will likely repeat last year's scenario.$BTC is now at 82,779. In the past day, shorts were liquidated for 30.41 million USD, while longs only had 8.72 million USD liquidated. The market is seeing shorts being passively covered. The capital in precious metals options has returned to the bullish side, aligning with our data pointing in the same direction, indicating a warming risk appetite. However, the quality of this rally still needs to be discounted. The funding rates for three periods are between 0.0065% and 0.0079%, showing that bulls have not added leverage to chase; the put/call ratio in options trading is 1.32, with more protection buyers than call buyers during the session; DVOL is 37.8, meaning the market is not pricing in large volatility. It looks more like a rally pushed by shorts exiting, with new bulls not yet entering in large numbers. I lean bullish, expecting the price to test around 83,420 first. If contract open interest of 7.89 billion USD rises along with the price, it indicates new money is taking over, and the bullish view can continue. The bearish condition: if the price falls back below 81,280 and the put/call ratio remains above 1, then the precious metals sentiment has not transmitted, and it should be treated as a weak consolidation. The comment period's close is a procedural milestone, not regulatory clarity. The proposed safe harbor and fundraising exemptions could widen routes for token issuance, but the unresolved questions around secondary trading and token status still matter most for market structure.
Final rules may sharpen disclosure standards; their scope remains uncertain.
#SECCryptoCommentsClosed #BTC spot ETF continuous net inflow, limited market reaction $ETH On October 21, there was a substantial short-term structural improvement compared to the previous day's "range oscillation under moving average bearish suppression." The key change is: the price has risen above all moving averages on the 4-hour and 1-hour charts, with the short-term trend shifting from bearish to bullish, driven primarily by a sudden reversal in ETF capital flows. However, the daily-level moving average resistance has not yet been reached, so there remains a gap to be tested between the short-term recovery and the mid-term bearish structure.
📊 Key changes: comparison with the previous day's assessment
Yesterday, ETH's core conflict was the confrontation between the "2360 support resilience and the 2440–2470 resistance suppression." Overnight market action provided directional choice: ETH followed BTC with a large bullish candle from around 2376–2380 up to 2,477.70, then maintained a narrow high-level oscillation above 2450 with minimal pullback. As of October 21, ETH was quoted around 2453–2455 USD, up 1.89% in 24 hours.
The most critical marginal change came from capital flows: cryptocurrency ETFs saw a single-day net inflow of 526.7 million USD, the largest single-day scale in nearly a month based on Monday's data, with ETH-related ETFs rebounding simultaneously. This directly offsets the previous day's bearish narrative of "about 950 million USD cumulative net outflow of ETFs in October."Saying AI demand has already collapsed requires at least an explanation of why some companies are still buying equipment on a large scale.
SpaceX's SI segment capital expenditure in Q3 was about $16.444 billion, higher than $15.828 billion in Q2. This is the investment of one company and cannot represent the entire industry, but it is enough to remind me: a sharp drop in chip stocks and customers immediately stopping purchases cannot be directly equated.
This time, my view on some upstream companies is actually more positive than on terminal AI companies.
When customers expand computing power, equipment suppliers have the opportunity to confirm revenue first; as for whether customers can recoup their investment through AI services after purchase, that is another operational challenge. The performance rhythms on both sides may naturally be out of sync.
Of course, this does not mean upstream companies can forever ignore customer returns. If customers later find equipment underutilized, the next round of purchases will also be affected.
But since there is still actual investment at present, there is no need to judge the entire chain as if demand has disappeared. It is more appropriate to look at orders, deliveries, and payments company by company, especially distinguishing between purchases already implemented and long-term expansion plans.
What makes me happy about the chip stock rebound is that the market finally has a chance to re-examine operational differences. When prices fell, it was easy to just say "AI bubble" and sell off everything, but to truly judge which companies are worth holding, you still have to see where the customers' money actually flows.
#芯片股终结八连跌,AI行情能否持续? Gold fell 0.82%, US stocks rose 0.41%, BTC fell 0.32% — three assets, three directions. What does this combination indicate? First, the news. Three numbers: Gold 4,146.7 (-0.82%, spot 4,130.60), S&P 500 7,690.73 (+0.41%), BTC 81,682 (-0.32%, nearly -2.1% over the past week). On the capital side: ETFs have seen small net inflows for four consecutive days (+16.3 million), but net outflows of 324.5 million over 5 days and 724.1 million over 10 days; on the sentiment side: the Fear & Greed Index fell from 59 to 55; the US Dollar Index is 101.92 (-0.06%). Next, looking at capital impact. A drop in gold usually means reduced demand for safe havens; a rise in US stocks means risk appetite is recovering; by this logic, BTC should have risen with US stocks — but it did not. This indicates that BTC's current pricing mainline is not "risk appetite" but rather its "own capital structure": ETF inflows are insufficient to offset selling pressure from other channels. Implications for BTC: in this "gold down, US stocks up, BTC down" combination, BTC behaves more like an independently priced asset rather than a beta of risk assets. This is actually a neutral signal — it shows BTC neither followed the improvement in risk appetite nor suffered additional drag from a decline in safe-haven demand. What we need to wait for next is direction from BTC's own capital flow. I will be watching four indicators next: first, whether the rise in US stocks can continue; South Korean stocks rebounded strongly, with Samsung and Hynix both rising over 7% at one point. Besides the improved risk appetite brought by the Iran nuclear talks, the more crucial factor is that AI demand expectations are supported by fundamentals.
SpaceX's AI/Superintelligence division revenue for Q3 reached $7.56 billion, a quarter-on-quarter increase of about 195%; operating profit was $431 million, turning profitable, mainly benefiting from cloud computing contracts execution, Cursor consolidation, and Grok business expansion.
Super Micro Computer (SMCI) preliminary revenue is expected to be $18.5 billion to $19.5 billion, higher than the previous guidance of $14.5 billion to $15.5 billion, with gross margin revised up to 12%–12.5%. The company attributes the improvement to increased demand for AI platforms.
These two earnings reports jointly indicate that AI servers still have demand, and computing power services are beginning to contribute revenue and profit, alleviating concerns about "AI investment about to stall and weakening storage orders," thus supporting demand expectations for Samsung and Hynix.
However, whether the rebound can evolve into a reversal still requires observation of subsequent orders, memory prices, and whether profit expectations can be continuously validated. The earnings report just passed, and SpaceX is about to face the biggest "unlocking" (release of shares) of the year.
According to the rules set in the prospectus:
On the second full trading day after the earnings report,
at most 1.3 billion shares will be unlocked.
That means it will be on Thursday Eastern Time,
which is Thursday night Beijing time when the market opens.
This batch is about 40% larger than the biggest unlocking in August.
Note, unlocking does not necessarily mean selling.
But what's different this time is:
the stock price is now above the $135 issue price,
and many old shareholders finally have the chance to "sell without loss."
At the same conference call, Musk also dropped big news:
Both SpaceX and Tesla boards
have established independent special committees to study a merger.
He himself said:
"I am a conflicted party and cannot participate in the discussion."
"Saying the merger is a done deal is an exaggeration."
On one hand, shares are loosening up; on the other, merger speculation is brewing.
On Thursday night, do you think selling pressure will dominate, or will the story prevail?
$SPCX $PUMP got spammed again today, rising more than 8% in 24h, pulling from 0.00441 to 0.00497 before stopping 🙃
After the spike down to 0.00383 on 10-19, the 4-hour lows kept getting higher: 0.00432 → 0.00436 → 0.00447 → 0.00467, the bottom has been lifting steadily. The 0.0045~0.0046 range that was stuck for days was also eaten up early this morning.
But here’s a detail: the price rose 8%, yet the open interest decreased by about 3%, and the funding rate is only 0.0067%, indicating this move looks more like shorts covering rather than new longs rushing in. So I’m not chasing the 0.0048 level.
My plan:
Direction: slightly bullish, waiting for a pullback
Entry: 0.00468~0.00472 (this morning’s pullback low)
Stop loss: 0.00458, if it falls back below the old box top, consider the breakout failed
Target: 0.00497 to first test today’s high, if it holds then look at 0.00520
If it goes straight up without a pullback, forget it. If the 4-hour candle closes below 0.00458, the plan is invalid.
Small coins are volatile, so I’ll keep my position light.

Just my personal opinion, not investment advice, DYOR$FIL fil, honestly, I'm still not very satisfied with this round of halving trend; it's been quite a twisty path. The amplitude isn't very large either. But no matter what, going from 0.6 up to a high of 1.27 is still a doubling. Moving forward, we need to observe whether the trend can continue. Over the past two days, it's clearly felt like the rebound is weakening, possibly because some funds speculating on the halving have withdrawn. But anyway, since it wasn't very strong before and has been fluctuating with gains of 20% followed by drops of 15%, it feels like there's not much high leverage left; a big drop is unlikely unless Bitcoin weakens. Recently, AL-related stocks have also performed poorly, mainly because related companies are spending too much to build AL infrastructure. I feel this is a great opportunity for fil. Why? Since it's getting harder and harder for AL to raise funds, fil, which is already established, is increasingly likely to be favored by those lacking storage and infrastructure. fil is entering its second half; as long as commercialization succeeds, doubling or even a 10x increase depends on how large the scale of success is, and vice versa.💻 I treat this message as a code review: The input is the announcement from the Central Bank of Malaysia on October 20, officially launching SSDS+, supporting the issuance, custody, and safekeeping of tokenized bonds and Islamic bonds. The platform is independently developed by the Central Bank based on cloud and distributed ledger technology, built on the existing SSDS.
My judgment: This is a positive signal of financial infrastructure upgrade, but directly interpreting it as a boon for the crypto market is somewhat like celebrating user growth right after an interface goes live. In terms of significance for bond issuance and custody institutions, I think it is more direct than for ordinary on-chain players.
There are two layers of logic: it relies on the existing central securities depository system, not starting from scratch, so there is a foundation for business continuity; issuance and custody are integrated into the same upgraded framework, and if it can reduce duplicate verification, then tokenization may actually generate efficiency. This is my speculation; the announcement has not yet provided effect data.
Potential bugs also need to be considered: updating the ledger does not automatically resolve legal ownership, permission control, and exception handling. If I were to revise the acceptance criteria, I would first ask how systems reconcile accounts and how recovery is handled during failures, rather than just looking at "using distributed ledger technology."
Everyone, please help review: To judge whether SSDS+ is effective, would you first look at issuance usage volume, or settlement efficiency and fault handling mechanisms? What test cases might my logic be missing? Juan Benet probably didn't expect to be blocked at the door by his own ecosystem's payment process. This core figure behind IPFS and $FIL wanted to buy less than $1000 worth of developer fuel and casually store a file, but was required to submit SSN, address, and facial scan, going through the full KYC process. A person who has written decentralization and data sovereignty into his beliefs ultimately got stuck at the compliance checkpoint—this is not a joke, but the most real crack in Web3. His doubts cut to the bone: credit cards and banking channels already hold identity and financial information, and adding SSN, an extremely sensitive identity marker, is a typical case of excessive data collection. Even more ironically, once the KYC database leaks, the user's personal safety risk is real, making the phrase "KYC makes you safer" utterly ironic at this moment. On-chain storage can rely on cryptographic self-proof, but off-chain payments must bow to real-world rules. This is exactly the narrative gap most easily underestimated in the current market. $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL talk about permissionless access, censorship resistance, and privacy freedom, but once it touches fiat deposits, stablecoin settlements, and custody compliance, the verification step is almost unavoidable. Even project founders cannot escape third-party service providers' review processes, so the "autonomy" of ordinary users is obviously limited in value. Decentralized technology can solve where data is stored, but it is very difficult to solve who can enter the market. A signal worth watching is that the integration of stablecoin payments and compliance channels is accelerating, institutional-level settlements on $ETH are frequent, and payment giants are connecting on-chain settlements to existing systems. Isn't this a typical case of "I intended my heart for the bright moon, but the bright moon shines on the ditch" 😂?
Why does the price not rise even though funds are flowing in?
Actually, if you think about it, it makes sense. The real money flowing into the ETF might just be offset by those big holders taking profits and running, or by funds attracted away by high-yield US Treasury bonds.
The current market is all about "emotional immunity"; without a clear signal of easing from the Federal Reserve, no one wants to be the first to rush in.
What do you all think, how much longer will this "money in without price surge" act continue?"70% of people are betting on a post-earnings rise— is this odds really safe? When expectations are overwhelmingly one-sided, who is bearing the risk that’s being ignored? Tonight until tomorrow morning, SpaceX’s first full quarterly report since going public will be revealed. In market forecast data, 70% of bettors believe the stock price will rise; sentiment has already shifted to optimism in advance. I've been watching this number for a long time and feel it’s more like a game phase now—not a start, nor a continuation—everyone is waiting for a signal to prove they weren’t wrong. There are really two key points to watch this time. Starlink is the cash flow driver; whether its user count and profit margin can hold up directly determines the stability of the valuation foundation. Starship is a money pit; the market wants to know how fast it’s burning cash and how far it is from returning money. Previously, when Musk launched rockets, people watched for entertainment; now that it’s a public company, Wall Street will audit the books, and the story must be backed by numbers. The bullish side is also clear: as long as Starlink’s growth exceeds expectations and Starship’s pace doesn’t deviate, sentiment could really ignite, tech stock risk appetite could warm up, BTC might catch a breather, and ETH and altcoins might repair their sentiment with this wave. But the fact that 70% are betting on a rise is itself a danger signal; the margin for error is very thin. Slightly missing expectations or a burn rate that makes institutions frown will quickly undo the space narrative built up before. When tech stocks cool down, crypto’s risk appetite rarely stands alone, especially in high-beta sectors where pullbacks often come faster than expected. So now I’m more willing to treat it as a The next round of Bitcoin's drop might be caused by the longs themselves.
Sounds counterintuitive, right?
I was stunned the first time I read it.
Let me translate: When the real drop happens, it's not the shorts crashing it, but the longs trampling themselves.
That's the current situation.
On one side, some are buying insurance.
On the other, some are levering up to bet on a rebound.
Glassnode data from last week: The money longs pay to shorts on perpetual contracts rose 49% in a week.
To continue translating: No one is taking the spot positions, but the longs are paying to stay alive.
Within this 36.4 billion exposure, as soon as some can't hold and start liquidating—
Liquidation is forced. It doesn't ask about price, only if there's margin.
So the real risk isn't that everyone is bearish. It's that everyone is bullish but about to break.
By the way, something even scarier.
The proportion of profitable Bitcoin holders dropped from 70% to 68%. The realized profit-loss ratio fell from 0.8 to 0.4.
The losses being taken are almost catching up to the gains.
Add to that the holding period shortening—the proportion of short-term holders surged to 14.7%, surpassing the historical high.
Fewer people dare to hold, and costs are rising.
There's another event coming this week.
October 27-28, the Federal Reserve meeting.
Inflation isn't under control, and rate hike expectations could flare up anytime.
If 80,000 breaks again, the above scenario will trigger simultaneously.
My view is, don't just watch the price next.
Watch two numbers: whether spot trading volume difference turns positive, and whether futures open interest starts to drop.
Both moving together.🤖"Three-Dimensional Trading System | BTC Market Analysis (1/3): Volume"
Both bulls and bears show shrinking volume, and trading volume is sluggish; this is one of the signals that BTC is about to reverse!
Current price is around 81.5K. Last night it briefly surged to 83.1K but failed to hold and was pushed back below 82K.
In the past 24 hours, short liquidations accounted for 71.7%, about $104 million in short positions were liquidated, significantly higher than the $70.83 million in long liquidations.
This rebound is mainly driven by short covering, not new long entries.
On the four-hour chart, neither bulls nor bears have sustained volume expansion. Bears can't push down, bulls lack strength to pull up.
🎯Volume judgment: The rebound is dominated by short covering but lacks sustainability. The 82K-82.2K range has turned from support into resistance; if it can't hold above, it remains a weak consolidation. The most dangerous signal in the crypto world might not be Bitcoin's decline, but that exchanges are looking for new ways to make money.
The Financial Times revealed that the volume of prediction market trading surged from $17 billion in January this year to $72 billion in September, an increase of over 300%.
Platforms like Coinbase, Binance.US, and Gemini are all actively expanding into prediction markets.
Here is a question worth pondering:
If traditional cryptocurrency trading is still so profitable, why are exchanges increasingly eager to find new sources of income?
Because the rules of the crypto game may have truly changed.
In the past, when Bitcoin rose, retail investors rushed in wildly, altcoins took off one after another, and exchanges collected fees effortlessly.
What about now?
Institutions are buying Bitcoin, exchanges are expanding new businesses, and traditional finance is continuously entering the space.
But many altcoins are still waiting for their spring.
I increasingly feel that the cruelest scenario in the next bull market might not be everyone losing money together.
Instead, it is:
Bitcoin continuously hitting new highs.
Exchanges making huge profits.
Institutions steadily expanding their scale.
Only a large batch of altcoins never returning to their historical highs.
Many are still waiting for the so-called altcoin season, but haven't considered one question:
If the market structure has already changed, why should funds still follow the script of the last bull market?
Remember one thing:
The industry becoming more successful doesn't mean every token you hold will succeed.
Don't mistake the future of the entire crypto industry for your own holdings Netflix's Q3 profits look great, but the advertising business has become the biggest "drag." Revenue reached $12.87 billion, net profit surged 44%, EPS exceeded expectations, and operating margin hit 34.6%, showing strong financials. What really pressured the stock price was the full-year ad revenue guidance being cut from $3 billion to $2.7 billion, citing slower-than-expected rollout of ad product features.
This reveals that Netflix's advertising business is still in the "infrastructure building" phase: demand is solid, advertisers are expanding, but monetization efficiency and product rollout pace haven't kept up with the aggressive targets set. Subscription price hikes and member growth can still support overall revenue for now, but growth has slowed to the lowest level in three years.
In the short term, margin improvement and free cash flow provide support; in the medium to long term, whether advertising can truly become a second growth curve depends on product iteration speed and new market expansion next year. Earnings beating expectations is just a moat; advertising execution is the key to the next phase of valuation. #奈飞Q3盈利超预期,广告业务增长放缓 BTC has rebounded, but ETF buying has shrunk by 95%: This recovery is still missing a leg
BTC is around 82,681, ETH about 2,439, DOGE about 0.0815. All three have bounced back from their lows in the past 24 hours but have yet to reclaim their respective highs: BTC targets 83,440, ETH targets 2,478, DOGE targets 0.08234.
What really matters is not "how much it has rebounded," but whether buying momentum is being sustained. Farside data shows that the US spot BTC ETF had a net inflow of $526.7 million on October 19, but only $23.2 million on the 20th, still a net inflow but with an incremental drop of about 96%. So I don't attribute this rise directly to continuous institutional buying; ETF buying hasn't disappeared, but its marginal strength has clearly weakened.
My judgment: The short-term recovery is valid, but the trend reversal is not yet confirmed. BTC needs to stand above 83,440 and hold on a pullback, ETH must simultaneously reclaim 2,478, only then can the mainstream be considered collectively strengthening; if BTC falls back below the 24-hour opening level of 81,751 and ETH also loses 2,395, this rebound risks turning back into a decline.
For now, I won't chase the highs; I'll wait for the highs to be reclaimed or for the opening levels to be broken before making further judgments.
$BTC $ETH #BTC现货ETF连续净流入,市场反应有限 #OKX星球话题来啦 In the futures market, when trading systems are upgraded, experienced traders usually first ask whether delivery and custody have changed, rather than rushing to guess prices. I see the news from the Central Bank of Malaysia follows this habit: how the underlying ledger is changed carries more weight than the three words "tokenization".
According to the Central Bank of Malaysia's announcement on October 20, the bank officially launched SSDS+, supporting the issuance, custody, and safekeeping of tokenized bonds and Islamic bonds. The platform is independently developed by the central bank based on cloud technology and distributed ledger technology, built on the original SSDS.
My judgment is that this is a substantial progress for institutional asset tokenization, but it cannot be directly counted as a universal positive for the crypto market. In traditional finance, this is more like an upgrade of the central securities custody infrastructure, focusing on how assets are issued and how they are safeguarded, not just adding a hype topic.
The crypto market tends to link "using distributed ledger" with "public chains benefiting," but I think there is still a lack of evidence in between. The central bank's leadership and reliance on existing systems indicate this time it emphasizes extending the existing financial system; if subsequent steps can reduce institutional operational procedures, then efficiency improvements will have real significance. This is my speculation and should not be taken as already realized.
I prefer to see it as a financial pipeline transformation rather than a market signal. For friends who have also transitioned from traditional markets, would you view the launch of such a central bank platform as a custody upgrade or a potential opportunity for public chain asset tokenization? Bitcoin has been stuck in the $80,000 to $84,000 range for nearly two weeks. Chief analyst Cloud believes this is essentially a balance of two opposing forces: ETFs have seen net outflows for two consecutive weeks, while exchange holdings continue to decline, and long-term holders are only moderately cashing out. In the week before the Federal Reserve's rate decision, Bitcoin is very likely to continue waiting within this range. CME prices in only a 16% chance of a rate hike in October, while economists generally see it as about a 50-50 split. This pricing discrepancy and divergence make investors hesitant to bet early. If a direction is chosen prematurely, the likelihood of a downward test is slightly higher: funding rates remain high, and option skew continues to favor puts, indicating that longs have not yet been cleared and demand for downside protection is still increasing. However, effective support has formed multiple times below $80,000 over the past month, so a downward breakout is more likely to be a false breakout. #交易之声:你的经验值得被听到 $BTC To start with a cold splash, this is not news that can directly lead to a collapse of the entire industry. The market easily exaggerates the phrase "North Korea-linked organization stealing coins" into systemic risk.
According to on-chain detective ZachXBT, an institutional entity was suspected to have been stolen about $2.84 million by SquidSquad on BSC on October 8. On October 20, the attacker deposited 1111.2 ETH into Tornado Cash, then withdrew it to three addresses.
I take a bearish view on the impact of this news on the security sector sentiment, but I don't think it is entirely bearish by itself. There are two reasons: first, what has been disclosed so far is a single institutional incident, and there is no evidence of protocol-level vulnerabilities or widespread contagion; second, funds entering a mixing tool will increase regulatory and compliance pressure, but it does not mean that ordinary users' assets in the market are exposed to risk. The emotional impact may be greater than the actual transmission.
Of course, the bears may also be underestimating the problem. If it is later confirmed that the attack method is reusable, involves more institutions, or there are continuous thefts and capital outflows, then I will change my judgment and see it as an industry infrastructure risk, not just a single incident.
Do you lean bullish or bearish on this news? Is your reasoning based on the single loss, or are you worried it exposes bigger security vulnerabilities? After touching 83,000, it was immediately smashed down. Who exactly is BTC waiting for?
Let's first look at two numbers: In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $194 million in short positions, while long positions only liquidated $84.72 million. Shorts were under intense pressure below 83,000, but BTC just didn’t break through — it touched 83,062 briefly and was immediately pushed back to 81,678.
The most conflicted situation right now: the bias is bullish, but the fuel is insufficient.
$BTC’s short-term lifeline is 87,371 above; only if the daily candle closes above this can the rebound be confirmed. Below, 80,433 is the first defense line, coinciding with the 50-day moving average; if broken, the next target is 76,140. Funding rates remain positive, showing resilience among bulls, but new leverage is very restrained. Simply put, bulls are defending, shorts are betting, but neither side has committed fully.
$ETH is even more interesting. Shorts liquidated $64.3 million, more than double the long liquidations. The price was pulled from 2,376 to 2,477, and now it’s hovering above 2,450 without falling, signaling some resistance to decline. However, ETFs have seen net outflows for the fifth consecutive day, with BlackRock’s ETHA withdrawing $33 million in one day. Contracts are being squeezed, while spot is bleeding; ETH’s short-term contradictions are sharper than BTC’s.
The real judge will be the FOMC on October 27-28. Rate cuts are already priced in; the fear is a "hawkish cut" — a cut, but Powell telling you not to expect another. If BTC fails to break 87,371, the crowded longs will be the biggest risk; if ETH holds 2,430-2,440, short covering will be the cleanest short-term gain.

Tesla's Q3 delivery data has landed, with overall performance better than market expectations, and short-term sentiment has clearly warmed. But now the core market contradiction is no longer whether cars can be sold, but whether profitability can truly recover.
For a long time, price cuts to boost volume have been Tesla's main strategy. While volume increased, the gross margin per vehicle has been under continuous pressure. Coupled with the heavy ongoing cash burn in AI and robotics businesses like FSD, Optimus, and Dojo, this has been a key factor suppressing valuation. Delivery exceeding expectations only proves the fundamentals remain stable; it does not mean the profit inflection point has been confirmed.
Next, focus on several core points: whether automotive gross margin can stabilize and rise, whether the average selling price per vehicle has stopped falling, whether free cash flow continues to turn positive, and whether FSD commercialization progress can bring additional profit increments.
The bullish logic is: stable deliveries + declining costs, profitability is expected to gradually recover, and the long-term valuations of AI, Robotaxi, and humanoid robots will be re-priced.
The bearish logic is: the industry price war is not over, R&D investment remains huge, and even if deliveries look good, the pace of profit recovery may fall short of expectations, keeping valuations relatively high.
My view: exceeding delivery expectations is only the first hurdle; the real touchstone is the gross margin in the financial report. Before profitability data is realized, the market is more about sentiment repair. Be cautious about chasing highs; waiting for financial report verification before making decisions is safer.#Meta巨额AI投入进入回报检验期 Regarding Meta's earnings reports, in the last four reports, three showed declines. So this time, following the pattern, I also bet that its stock will drop after the earnings announcement. The advertising side is likely not bad: market consensus revenue is $63.3 billion, up 23.4% year-over-year. But growth relies on price increases; exposure growth slowed from 19% to 14%, with unit price rising 12% for two consecutive quarters. The key metric to watch is unit price: if it falls below 9% and exposure continues to slow, it indicates the AI bidding dividend has peaked. The Q4 guidance consensus is $73.7 billion; if it falls below $72 billion, the market will view it alongside the spending curve. The real test is capital expenditure in 2027. Management did not provide guidance last quarter; sell-side consensus is about $193 billion. History is poor: in October last year, the first significant upward revision for 2026 was given, and the next day the stock dropped 11.3%; in the last four earnings reports, three showed declines. An acceptable range is within $195 billion or providing a phased plan; exceeding $220 billion without new revenue guidance likely means a repeat of last year. The balance sheet is also under pressure: EPS consensus ranges from $6.17 to $6.76; Q2 operating margin was 31%, compared to 43% the same period last year; if a full $10 billion provision is made, GAAP margin could be squeezed to 15% Oil prices surge past $110! BTC rebounds, but ETH and SOL are less optimistic?
On October 21, BTC was around $82,797, ETH about $2,447, and SOL approximately $106.23. BTC's rebound does not equal a bull market reversal; capital divergence is the key.
On October 19, the US spot BTC ETF saw a single-day net inflow of $526.7 million, but the ETH ETF had a net outflow of $103 million, and the SOL ETF also had a net outflow of $6.7 million, indicating that capital has not fully returned.
Macroeconomic risks cannot be ignored either: Middle East supply concerns pushed oil prices higher, with Brent crude briefly rising to $110.38. If energy prices remain high, inflation and Federal Reserve policy expectations may continue to suppress risk assets.
Next, watch whether BTC can hold above $82,000, whether ETH can reclaim $2,500, and whether SOL can break through $110. The rebound depends on sustainability; don’t mistake a single bullish candle for a reversal signal. $BTC #BTC财库优先股融资升温 #BTC现货ETF大额流入后转负 #BTC成交萎缩,ETF买盘能否回暖 Tesla will release its Q3 earnings tonight, and I chose NO in the prediction market.
Although Q3 deliveries exceeded expectations, the positive news has basically been priced in by the market. Compared to sales volume, I am more focused on the profit margin of the automotive business and the subsequent growth guidance.
Additionally, Tesla's stock price performance after recent earnings reports has not been very favorable, so I remain cautious this time as well.
Currently, YES is priced at 87¢, while NO is only 14¢.
Buying YES at 87¢ offers poor odds; betting on NO at 14¢ seems more worthwhile for a small position.
Of course, earnings season is highly uncertain, this is purely my personal judgment, and I am participating with a light position.
#特斯拉交付超预期后盈利修复成焦点 #NetflixQ3ProfitBeat
Netflix's Q3 earnings report exceeded expectations, with profit margins rising driven by price increases and stable user retention. However, the execution of advertising business fell short of expectations, with lowered advertising revenue guidance and weak Q4 revenue forecasts, putting pressure on valuation. Competition in streaming services is intensifying, and the price increase advantage for subscribers is reaching its peak, with growth focusing on advertising and live content. Short-term profitability remains confirmed, but the growth ceiling in the medium to long term is capped
