On October 27, informed sources revealed that Meta Platforms' expanded $25 billion stock issuance received subscription demand approximately five times the number of shares available for subscription. The common stock issuance was priced at $625 per share, a 2.7% discount compared to the closing price last Friday before the issuance announcement; more than half of the shares were allocated to long-term investors and existing shareholders, with the top 15 investors by subscription size receiving about 70% of the issued shares. On Tuesday, Meta's stock price briefly dropped 1.4% in the New York market to $621.47 per share. This stock issuance is only part of Meta's financing plan, which also includes issuing $12.5 billion in mandatory convertible preferred stock and a planned market-priced follow-on stock offering. If the final fundraising reaches $98 billion, it will become one of the largest equity financing plans in history, with funds intended for expenditures in the artificial intelligence sector.#
