The 80,000 level is critical! The hawkish aftereffects of the FOMC are fermenting; is the surge and pullback a shakeout or a false breakout?
The 1-hour chart shows BTC currently priced at $80,016.3. After the decision, it surged to $81,820 before quickly falling back, now breaking below the 80,000 integer level. KDJ has entered the oversold zone, MACD's green bars continue to expand, indicating concentrated short-term bearish momentum release. Short-term resistance is at $83,000.1, core support at $79,730.1, with a large oscillation range between $79,500 and $82,000 intact, but the short-term trend is clearly weak.
News remains a tug-of-war:
✅ Institutional funds remain bullish: In the two days before the decision, spot ETFs saw a cumulative net inflow of $286 million, with BlackRock products dominating, showing a clear preference for BTC, sharply contrasting with continuous outflows from Ethereum ETFs.
⚠️ Macro pressure reemerges: The Fed maintained rates at 10:2, with two members voting for a hike. The statement emphasized inflation remains above target, raising December rate hike expectations. The market is revising the optimistic "steady ≠ easing" outlook, trapping momentum-chasing funds.
Within 24 hours post-decision, long and short liquidation volume neared $400 million, with intense two-way shakeouts. On-chain indicators show potential buying support in the current area, but the true directional choice awaits confirmation of holding above the 80,000 level.
Do you think the 80,000 level can hold? What signals did Microsoft's and Google's earnings reports send? Why did the market fall instead of interest rates being cut?
Last night's performance of tech stocks is worth a thorough study.
Microsoft's and Google's earnings reports once again highlighted a problem for the market: AI investments are increasing, but how much actual return these investments can bring is uncertain. If capital expenditures continue to rise while monetization lags, the market will naturally reassess the valuation of tech stocks.
Looking at the Federal Reserve, maintaining interest rates unchanged is not surprising in itself. The real issue is how much rate cut expectations the market had already priced in. After the positive news is realized, if there is no new stimulus, it is not unusual for funds to choose to take profits.
So the core now is not simply judging whether the news is positive or negative, but rather how high the market's prior expectations were and whether actual performance can continue to exceed those expectations.
What should we do next?
I believe a short-term rebound cannot be ruled out. AI investment returns, corporate earnings, the Middle East situation, and whether the Fed cuts rates in December could all become catalysts for market volatility.
For me, at this stage, controlling position size and retaining initiative are more important. The semiconductor sector, which has seen significant gains recently, especially requires caution. We should not overlook short-term valuation and drawdown risks just because we are optimistic about AI's long-term development.
From the rising rate cut expectations in September, to the semiconductor surge and pullback, and now the market's reassessment of AI investment returns, these rounds of market movements remind us: having the right direction is important, but timing your trades is equally crucial.
Looking ahead, are you more optimistic about tech stocks strengthening again? Early 8's 2347~2391 box, at 09:00 a single 2.52 million volume broke through.
2353.6 dropped to 2313.16 (-1.72%), the first target for short positions in the morning session at 2321.31 was directly penetrated, at 10:00 another 3.05 million volume pierced 2292.25.
The key is the pullback: from 11:00 to 13:00 three bars with 3.18 million volume, highest at 2334.97, still 4.6 points short of MA20 at 2339.54. At 13:00, a 1.427 million volume attempt also failed to push it up.
At 14:00 only 295,000 volume remained, falling back to 2316.75. Pullback failing to surpass the moving average = confirmed breakdown.
Break 2292.25 (1H≥2.5 million) then short on rebound at 2305~2312, stop loss at 2326, target 2255, risk-reward ratio 2.5.
Close above 2339.54 (1H≥2 million) then long on pullback at 2330~2336, stop loss at 2318, target 2391.16, risk-reward ratio 4.1.
Current price 2316.75 / -1.62% / MA20 overhead by 23 points. US Eastern Time 02:00, pricing fixed at 21:30.

(Not investment advice, trade at your own risk)Tonight PCE and GDP together: If inflation cools down and growth weakens, which side will BTC trade first?
At 20:30 tonight, PCE and GDP will be released simultaneously. On one hand, inflation may cool down; on the other, the economy may weaken. Should BTC be happy or worried?
My judgment: If inflation cools and growth only slows moderately, the market may first trade on easing rate hike concerns; but if GDP is weaker than expected, growth worries might outweigh this positive.
The Federal Reserve just kept rates unchanged, with two officials still advocating for a hike, and the statement said inflation remains high. So if core PCE is below expectations, rate hike expectations might ease, and risk assets could breathe a sigh of relief first.
Don’t rush to chase the first green candle. If GDP is clearly below expectations, concerns go beyond rates to corporate earnings and risk appetite. A drop in U.S. Treasury yields may also reflect growth worries, so this alone can’t be taken as a positive for BTC.
Tonight I’ll watch $80,000 first. If after the data BTC closes above this level on the hourly chart, and a pullback doesn’t break it, then consider following the rebound; if it rallies then falls back below $80,000 and the rebound can’t reclaim it, then give up chasing longs for now. Below, watch the previous 24-hour low near 79,709.
The counterpoint must be acknowledged: even if GDP is weak, if BTC retakes and holds the previous 24-hour high at 81,820, it shows buying strength stronger than I expected, so growth worries can’t continue to weigh on the market.
$BTC $ETH #美联储维持利率不变,12月加息分歧升温 What I'm focusing on is the concentration of this capital 👀: According to SoSoValue data, on October 28th Eastern Time, the Bitcoin spot ETF had a net inflow of $137 million, marking three consecutive days of net inflows, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for $136 million. This is somewhat interesting, but I prefer to see it as a capital signal for Bitcoin rather than a forecast of a broad altcoin rally.
My judgment is that this is somewhat positive for small-cap coins' sentiment, but the transmission effect shouldn't be overestimated. Consecutive net inflows can provide some confidence support to the market; however, the high concentration of funds in IBIT does not indicate that high-risk appetite has spread. If sentiment spills over, high-volatility assets might become more active, but without follow-up support, the enthusiasm could fade quickly.
I will continue to watch whether ETF inflows can be sustained and observe if small-cap coin trading volumes expand synchronously, rather than mistaking Bitcoin's hype for a market-wide recovery. Around this capital signal, what sectors are people paying attention to recently, and what indicators will they use to judge sentiment transmission?$ZEC The shield pool vulnerability has raised serious questions about $ZEC core value proposition. In theory, this flaw could potentially allow nearly 5 million additional coins to be created. Due to Zcash’s built-in privacy features, verifying whether any hidden inflation has occurred could be extremely difficult—even for the official team. When supply transparency becomes a concern, the entire scarcity narrative comes under pressure. Meanwhile, reports of large holders selling above $1,300 h$XRP, how does the payment narrative explain the recent capital divergence? On October 28, the spot XRP ETF showed no net inflow, with a slight net outflow over the past 7 days, but the 30-day measure still indicates a net inflow of about $10.9 million. Different time windows lead to different conclusions: a single day cannot represent long-term allocation, and cumulative flow does not guarantee continuation. If cross-border settlement adopts a pattern consistent with continued ETF inflows, the logic is strengthened; if funds turn negative and actual payment data stagnates, I would downgrade the narrative premium. $ATOM
Cosmos raises an important question about blockchain ecosystems: how much value does a network capture when its technology supports independent chains? The ecosystem's modular, interconnected approach can encourage experimentation, but the economic relationship between ecosystem growth and ATOM demand deserves careful attention. More chains and applications do not necessarily mean greater value accrues to the central token.BTC is currently in a short-term capital-induced bull trap phase while facing medium to long-term pressure, maintaining an overall weak oscillation.
News: The Federal Reserve paused rate hikes in October, easing panic temporarily, but the probability of a rate hike in December remains above 85%, with macro tightening expectations looming like a sword over the market.
Capital flow is strange: The 4-hour capital distribution shows a massive net outflow of 211.72 BTC (outflow 462 vs inflow 270), and large orders also show net outflow. This indicates that the main forces are distributing at highs, and the current price rally is mostly driven by retail or leveraged funds, making the foundation unstable.
High long-short ratio: The 6-minute leverage long-short ratio is at a high of 19.0, with strong retail buying sentiment, which is prone to triggering a downward "spike" by the main forces to liquidate longs.
K-line indicators: On the 4-hour chart, the coin price formed a double bottom rebound around 79,323, currently testing heavy resistance from SAR (87,105) and the super trend near 80,170. Although MACD shows a golden cross below the zero line (red bars expanding), indicating short-term repair momentum.
Trend forecast: Although there is MACD bullish divergence support for a short-term rebound, it is constrained by main capital outflows. The resistance between 81,000-82,000 is very strong, likely leading to a rise and fall. If it fails to break out with volume, it will retest support at 79,300; if broken, it will probe down to 75,500.
Operation advice: Avoid chasing highs. Long positions should be tried lightly near 79,300 on dips with strict stop-loss; short positions can be entered when the rebound is resisted near 82,000.
$BTC $ETH Strategy: · Wait for the price to pull back to the 1345-1355 range (near EMA5 support) and stabilize before going long. · The target is first 1369 (24-hour high); if effectively broken, then look at the 1400 round number. Set stop loss defense at 1330 (below EMA10). Core basis: 1. Shorts are extremely crowded and trapped: Chart 1 shows the long-short ratio is only 21.97%, with short positions reaching 166 million U (4.5 times the longs). The average short price is 1334, and the current price of 1364 has caused shorts to be fully in floating losses, making a short squeeze very likely upon a rally. 2. Technical V-shaped reversal: Chart 2 shows a 1H timeframe violent rise from 1205 to 1364, breaking through and holding above EMA5/10/20 lines, with strong bullish momentum. 3. Excellent risk-reward ratio: A pullback that does not break EMA5 is a good opportunity to enter with the trend; there is large space above to break previous highs, and the defense level is clear. $SKHY $KORU #SK Hynix Q3 revenue first breaks 100 trillion Korean won Just finished lunch, which should be the most comfortable time, but I sit in front of the screen feeling nauseous. The market repeatedly tests the 80,000 level, neither breaking down decisively nor bouncing up, this dull knife-cutting flesh market is the most tormenting.
$BTC: The average price has been lowered to 81,217, current price 80,163, unrealized loss -205U (-26%). Adding positions to lower cost seems smart but actually digs me deeper. The forced liquidation line at 77,090 below is my last bottom line.
$ETH: Average price 2,389, current price 2,317, unrealized loss -269U (-46%). The trend is very weak, the critical line at 2,219 hangs overhead.
$SOL: Completely unbearable to watch. Average price 105.1, current price 100.29, unrealized loss -72U (-95%). The principal is almost lost, once the defense line at 91 breaks, it can only go to zero.
💡
In this operation, I made the most fatal mistake—using "averaging down" to cover up the lucky mentality of no stop loss. BTC seems supported above 80,000, but the daily-level center of gravity keeps moving down. Adding positions only increases the position size and risk exposure. Never try to catch a falling knife; in front of the trend, individual strength is not even a speck of dust. That distinction matters. Adoption strengthens Ethereum’s long-term position, but price recovery requires actual demand for ETH, not just more activity built on its blockchain.
The next phase depends on whether fresh capital can absorb existing sell pressure.
Until that balance shifts, ETH may have strong fundamentals without the momentum to reflect them in price.
#FedKeepsRatesUnchanged How to place a limit sell order❓❓❓
Let me share my view, it's not based on guesswork but on analysis
Taking the recently closed $SOON as an example, you can see it has been oscillating within a range for over 20 days, which is relatively regular.
If it breaks upward, whether successful or not, placing a sell order near the longest upper shadow lines in this area is a reasonable position.
The difference is that higher positions may not get triggered, so to ensure it gets triggered, the position can be set slightly lower. If the breakout fails, shorting is, of course, a better choice.
For take profit, choose a point around the middle to upper part of the entire oscillation range, roughly slightly above 0.32, to ensure profit-taking. Naturally, the higher you go, the safer and faster it is.
This trade made a profit in just 4 minutes. This is my common method for placing limit orders; historical data is the theoretical support, not just guessing a number out of thin air.
For everyone's reference and discussion.I think whether AI agents can issue tokens is not the main point; who is responsible for their financial actions is the real weight of this news.
According to Cointelegraph, CFTC Chairman Michael S. Piwowar stated at the CFTC's first Frontier Forum held in Washington, D.C., that imagining a refrigerator autonomously purchasing groceries using staked Ethereum earnings, or even issuing its own memecoin, "is no longer science fiction." But I would not interpret this idea as direct regulatory approval; there are still rules separating the two.
What I value more is that AI agents are beginning to be included in the discussion framework of financial participants. If they can autonomously manage funds, then wallet authorization, spending limits, and operation traceability could shift from supporting features to infrastructure. This is my speculation, and the test for related services is probably more concrete than "automatic token issuance."
Staked earnings are not a free meal ticket for the refrigerator either. If asset prices fluctuate or funds cannot be accessed in time, daily payments will be affected. Looking further ahead, if the agent makes mistakes or token issuance causes disputes, the responsibility—whether it falls on the user, developer, or service provider—cannot be avoided.
I am willing to pay attention to this direction, but I will not be excited just because the refrigerator can issue tokens; next, I want to see how authorization boundaries and responsibility rules are implemented.Solana ETFs saw their worst daily outflow since December, while $SOL is barely holding $100
$19.16M left on October 27, bringing weekly outflows to $27.38M
October is now approaching $100M in withdrawals
What caught my attention: ETF assets dropped from $1.96B to $1.54B since late September, but net inflows fell by only ~$93M
To me, that suggests price depreciation explains most of the decline in assets@元宝比特币周报
People keep asking if the cycle theory has collapsed because Bitcoin hasn't dropped 80% this year.
Look at the actual halving cycle data:
The 2017-2018 cycle retraced about 84%;
The 2021-2022 cycle retraced about 78% (from $69k down to $15.4k);
The 2025-2026 cycle retraced 54% (from the peak of $126.2k on October 6, 2025, to the low of $57.8k on July 1, 2026).
Spot ETFs and institutional custody have raised the structural floor price (SoFi). Within 270 days after the ATH,
the correction bottomed as expected on July 1, reaching $57.8k. We are in a crypto winter similar to 2022.
No longer — we are in the mid-term reaccumulation range ahead of the expansion wave in Q2 2027.
Stop waiting for Bitcoin at $30k and focus on accumulating high-beta leaders through the choppy market before mid-November. $BTC $ETH $SOL Is standing still considered good news? After the decision, that spike—first see who caught the knife.
Here's what happened: On Wednesday, the Federal Reserve maintained the interest rate at 3.75%–4.00% with a 10-2 vote; Governors Cook and Cleveland Fed's Hammack advocated a 25bp hike; Chair Warsh emphasized that inflation remains above target. After the decision, BTC briefly surged, with OKX's 24-hour high at $81820, low at $79709.5, current price around $80261—after a fake breakout, it has given back most of the gains.
My view: This is a re-pricing of "holding steady ≠ easing"; mistaking the hawkish standstill for a dovish signal and chasing it is the easiest way to get caught in a spike-and-fall after the decision.
My approach: Stand firm and observe, do not chase this "decision good news" narrative; if it breaks below the 24-hour low of $79709.5 and fails to recover, consider this round of "holding steady means bullish reversal" invalid. No bullish trend reversal before the December meeting.
Would you take the "Fed standing still" as a bottom-fishing invitation, or first treat it as risk appetite not yet recovered?
$BTC $ETH $SOL
#FedStandingStill #BTCFakeBreakout #FedKeepsRatesUnchanged #DecemberHikeDebateHeatsUpWhen I saw this message, my first thought was whether macro liquidity is taking over, rather than how impressive the round number level is. Whether large funds are willing to continuously bear risk is more important than a momentary price quote.
$BTC just broke through $80,000, currently at $80,072, but it is still down 1.12% in 24 hours. The data cited is from Hyperliquid perpetual market, with open interest around $3.459 billion and a funding rate of 0.0013% per hour. This only describes that platform and cannot be directly taken as a full market capital inflow.
I tend to see this as a local price correction rather than a trend confirmation: the 24-hour performance is still weak, a positive funding rate means longs have holding costs, and open interest does not equal new buying. According to my speculation, if macro liquidity improves and spot buying continues to support, then the breakout will carry more weight. I will watch for capital relay and am not in a hurry to label the level as bullish.#Strategy财报前瞻: BTC's Book Gains Rebound Sharply #Strategy财报前瞻|Behind the $20.9B Book Gains, MSTR's Choice
📌Key Points
1. Earnings release date: Q3 results announced after U.S. market close on October 29
2. Expected digital asset fair value gains of about $20.9 billion, driven by BTC price rebound, representing unrealized gains on holdings, not core business profit
3. Currently holding approximately 848,000 BTC, recently invested about $176 million to repurchase STRC preferred shares
🔍Market Core Divergence:
After realizing huge unrealized gains, management's capital allocation becomes critical
👉Bullish: Use balance sheet improvement from unrealized gains to continue issuing debt to increase BTC holdings, maintaining the buy-BTC flywheel
👉Bearish: Pause additional purchases, prioritize debt repayment to reduce leverage, slow down BTC buying pace, weakening MSTR's Beta characteristic
📌Key items to watch in the earnings report:
✅ New BTC purchase plans
✅ Debt scale and financing costs
✅ Subsequent capital allocation guidance
✅ Management's stance on BTC
No matter how large the unrealized gains are, they are just book figures. The turning point for MSTR's stock price has never been the unrealized gains already made, but how they plan to spend the money next. The kitchen stove is only so big. When community banks rush in wearing aprons demanding a share of the pot, the two pots of broth—USDT and USDC—stewed for seven or eight years and selling a thousand bowls daily, made the ladle in the chef's hand visibly tremble.
The OCC notice on October 26, translated into kitchen slang, means: even street-side diners can now apply for a “premium broth license.” The recipe must comply with the Food Safety Authority’s standards—one-to-one real ingredients, no watering down, no using leftover broth as filler. You can open your own shop or affiliate with a subsidiary, but you must show your own stove, storage, and fire exits. This basically tells all community banks: that stack of loyal customer lists and payment channels in your warehouse can finally be used to brew broth.
The harshest rule is the ban on issuers paying interest. This is equivalent to the Food Safety Authority decreeing: no adding sugar to the broth to lure customers. Want to offer a sweetener? Let third-party seasoning vendors provide compliant side dishes, but the head chef is not allowed to throw rock sugar into the pot themselves. Canada’s draft on October 24 didn’t slack either, similarly blocking holder yields and capping packaging fees—oops, redemption fees—at one percent. Both sides are closing the loopholes simultaneously, basically saying: the stablecoin broth must be savory, not dessert. Desserts have other arrangements; chefs, hands off.
So what cards do community banks really hold? Loyal customer lists and delivery networks. How much these two things are worth in the restaurant business needs no explanation. A diner with thirty years of neighborhood business suddenly saying it wants to brew its own premium broth will definitely shake the sales of those instant soup packs in the supermarket freezer across the street. But don’t rush to cheer—the skill of premium broth lies in brewing, not just the recipe. The base flavor of those two old broths was nurtured with real money and eight years of simmering; the new pot hasn’t even heated the stove yet.
Moreover, this pot of broth must simmer slowly until January 18, 2027, before the lid is lifted. Over two years of slow simmering, the heat is just right, but slow simmering can also wear out patience. The big clients who needed to leave have long slipped away to other kitchens, leaving only regulars who order from the menu.
As for that US stock tokenized asset $xEWY, what’s served is a molecular gastronomy version of steak—the shape is steak, the cut surface is code, the texture is all foam. The alcohol lamp burning underneath is leverage; turn up the heat, and the foam collapses, leaving only a puddle of hot oil on the plate. Molecular gastronomy looks good, but you’re still hungry after eating.
On this menu of investment portfolios, mainstream coins must firmly hold the main course spot; altcoins are the seasonings sprinkled on the plate—just enough to add flavor, too much steals the show. Leveraged contracts are the super spicy chili pepper—dip a little for a kick, but swallowing the whole thing is a stomach rebellion. The kitchen rules are simple: you can borrow the pot, but not the heat. #uscanadastablecoinpushIs on-chain trading available all day, while the real market never rests?
I came across a stock-like token on the weekend that can still be bought and sold. Does this mean the underlying stock market is also open?
Not necessarily.
It's a bit like being able to place orders at an online store late at night, but the warehouse might not ship at that time. On-chain transfers, token trading, underlying asset transactions, and redemptions each have their own schedules.
Some products allow longer trading hours, but after traditional markets close, reference prices might not be updated by new regular transactions, while buyers and sellers on-chain can still quote different prices.
So, "still able to buy" does not equal "quotes necessarily closely track the underlying asset," nor does it mean you can redeem from the issuer right now.
When looking at these products, you can first find three pieces of information: when trading is allowed, how often prices are updated, and when redemptions are processed. Specifics depend on product rules; not all RWAs operate 24/7.
Speaking of price updates, the next article will discuss an often overlooked question: who actually provides the prices in on-chain lending protocols?Core official (Core DAO) has proactively withdrawn its own validator node, which can be interpreted in two completely different ways depending on whether it is a voluntary offline exit from the validator set or just a temporary shutdown. 1. The most ideal interpretation: Decentralization (positive narrative) The Core network has only 13 active validator nodes in total. - The foundation voluntarily withdraws its official validator node it operates, no longer occupying a validator seat, handing block production rights over to community third-party validators. - This means the project team no longer controls the network, weakening the foundation's grip on the chain, aligning with the goal of decentralization for public blockchains. - This is a common practice in the later stages of many public chains and does not inherently mean the chain is abandoning the project. However, there is a key point here: Although the official node exits, if a large amount of staked delegation remains concentrated in the hands of a few top validators, the network remains highly centralized, only shifting control from the project team to a few large holders. 2. Negative signals to watch out for (market's main concern) If the core official validator node suddenly exits without prior notice, the market generally interprets it as the following issues. 1. Project team operational contraction and budget cuts Running a validator node requires ongoing server and operational manpower costs. - With the token price persistently low and ecosystem revenue below expectations, the team reduces expenses and no longer bears the cost of the validator node. - This indicates the project team is unwilling to continue investing in maintaining the chain, a fundamental weakening signal. 2. Lack of team confidence ProjA 93% year-over-year growth rate is like a check right in the face, but what really tightens the market is the hollow gap that Palantir reveals after its high valuation. This game of Palantir has already entered the midgame: the 149% sprint in U.S. commercial revenue is a strong move pushing the pawn to the seventh rank on the kingside; the upward revision of the full-year guidance means actively steering the situation toward complexity. The issue in Q3 is not whether it can continue to rise, but whether orders and revenue can convert tactical advantages into structural ones. High valuation has never been a talisman; it is the opponent’s deepest opening book for studying you—the higher the market expectations, the less room for error the bulls have.
When I look at this kind of earnings report, I first ignore the headline numbers and focus on three groups of pieces: whether order conversion forms a continuous forced advance, whether commercial client expansion shifts from a single breakthrough to a chain of pawns advancing, and whether the government contract rhythm is merely delayed rather than lost. Revenue growth is the result of piece exchanges; orders hold the initiative on the board. If Q3 just follows the script, it’s like offering a draw in a winning position, and the hanging pawn from the high valuation immediately becomes a target; only if orders and revenue both exceed expectations can the hanging pawn be turned into a passed pawn, forcing the opponent into an endgame. The linkage with $xNFLX is more like a mirrored board: every valuation adjustment on the main board amplifies into a passed pawn sprint or piece loss there. Don’t put all your pieces on an unprotected pawn; the key to position management is distinguishing between a “check” and a “false check”—revenue beating expectations without order quality backing is just a tactical smokescreen; strong orders with delayed revenue recognition may be a strategic setup.
True masters have calculated twenty moves ahead before placing a piece: Palantir must defend its high valuation not with stories but by using orders to push its business model into an irreversible pawn structure. The linkage with $xNFLX won’t reward followers but only those who understand the main board’s sacrifice intentions. The decisive move in this game is not revenue growth but whether orders can turn the high valuation from a hanging pawn into a passed pawn; if Q3 just follows the script, $xNFLX’s linkage will first cash out your pieces. #palantirq3valuationThe earnings call is not a new product launch event, but a load test after the main structure is topped out—the initial sales of the 18th generation Pro model are just freshly demolded concrete. What we really need to listen to is how the new leader will reinforce the beams on the two scissors braces of rising memory prices and the smart computing power race. First, verify the foundation: Apple's supertall building doesn't rely on the bustle of a flagship store on one floor; the raft foundation is the service ecosystem, self-developed chips, and cash flow, while the core tube is the phone business. The initial sales entering the chart means the core tube starts bearing weight. If sales rely only on the short-term live load of the upgrade wave but dare not make edge intelligence the main mechanical and electrical trunk, no matter how bright the curtain wall is, it cannot hide the noise of the equipment floor. Rising memory costs are like the price increase of main steel materials, directly squeezing the general contractor's gross margin; the new leader's first earnings call is the construction drawing handover. Don't just listen to the vision; see if he can realign the three sets of beam and column nodes for procurement, pricing, and R&D, and keep change orders within the deviation allowed by the structural calculation book. In construction, the worst is not flashy drawings but conflicts between structural and MEP systems: smart functions require computing power, computing power requires power consumption, power consumption requires cooling, and cooling in turn bites into battery and body thickness—this is a typical integrated pipeline collision. If collision checks are not done at the design stage and only change orders are relied on later, the building can be topped out, but the equipment floor will alarm every day. Apple's long-term scalability depends on whether it can make edge intelligence, cloud services, and hardware gross margin into three independent yet interlocked load-bearing systems, rather than putting all the load on the floor slab of a single new generation device. Memory price hikes are fluctuations in main material prices; how much can be absorbed through long-term procurement price locking, product mix upgrading, and supply chain redundancy is the general contractor's management capability. The new leader's first earnings call is like a supervisor's regular meeting: the three tables of schedule, cost, and quality must align. If only brand momentum and user loyalty are discussed without talking about gross margin buffers and the capitalization rhythm of R&D investment, then it's using renderings to replace as-built drawings. The initial sales of the 18th generation Pro model are a sample section; a beautiful sample section does not mean the entire building passes fire performance acceptance; the real growth signals lie in the structural rigidity of service revenue, the dampers of upgrade cycles, and whether smart functions can form reusable MEP standard floors. Mapping targets like $xDELL are like connecting corridors; when the main building experiences wind vibration, they amplify the sway. Short-term pulses look good but do not mean the main structure has an additional seismic joint. My professional judgment is firm: if Apple's current earnings report cannot provide coaxial nodes on the two load paths of cost and intelligence, the initial sales figures of the 18th generation Pro model are just surface appearances after demolding, and beam end cracks will appear before the rooftop sign. #appleq4iphone18outlook Seeing the dedicated payment channel, people tend to think about an application explosion. BNB Chain announced that the Jenner hard fork has been launched on the BSC testnet, with the payment channel by default reserving 5% of block Gas for eligible payments.
On the other hand, let me discount the positive news first: first, reserved capacity does not equal payment demand; second, the payment channel and the compliant asset standard CAS20 still require governance before full activation, so there are variables in implementation. I will monitor actual usage and not consider the testnet launch as demand fulfillment. Conclusion first: RLUSD has obtained Moody's A2 rating and OCC license, but redemption privileges and bankruptcy isolation are not yet in place, so it's too early to switch now.
On 10/28, Moody's gave RLUSD an A2 rating (the sixth highest long-term rating), with reserves mainly in US Treasury cash and custody by BNY; only qualified institutions can redeem at face value. On 10/26, Ripple received final approval from the OCC, with a trust bank managing the reserves, and the issuer still being Standard Custody (NYDFS).
But rating ≠ guaranteed redemption: Standard Custody is not a bankruptcy-isolated entity, holders do not directly own the reserves, and the GENIUS Act will only take effect in 2027.
The wallet looks at three numbers:
1. Market cap of 2.63 billion (CoinGecko), total stablecoin market about 300 billion.
2. On OKX, RLUSD-USDT 24-hour trading volume is 9.08 million USD, accounting for 5% of the global 182 million; USDC-USDT in the same period is 248.7 million, 27 times more.
3. The contrast is here: RLUSD-USDT best buy order is 4.62 million USD, 6 times that of USDC-USDT best buy, showing sufficient depth but trading volume hasn't caught up.
Nearly 1 billion RLUSD is on the XRP Ledger.
How much would you switch to RLUSD? $RLUSD $XRP Q surged once again but then fell back; the faster it rises, the more real the drop is.

The logic is just three points: no more room to rise, tokens too concentrated, unlocking is on the way.
Support at 0.05; if broken, then 0.0475 → 0.02 vacuum zone.
Small position, use stop loss, don’t get carried away. And on November 2, 241 million Q tokens will be unlocked. Don’t befriend the unlocking date.GRASS dropped nearly 12%, with amplified trading volume at 12:00, but only about 30% remained in the next hour.
OKEx spot data shows that the hourly trading volume at 12:00 reached approximately $89,600, nearly double the previous 20-hour average of $46,700; at 13:00, the hourly volume dropped to $28,600. The price moved from 0.6467 back up to 0.6510 over two hours, and was about 0.6524 at 14:04. The nominal value of contract open interest decreased slightly from about $5.871 million at 12:00 to about $5.859 million at this time, with no simultaneous increase observed.
My judgment remains cautious. The price is recovering, but the trading volume relay is weakening. The easiest misjudgment is equating a continued price increase with sustained buying pressure; since nominal open interest value is influenced by price, it alone cannot determine who is exiting the market.
I am more focused on whether the trading volume of the next completed hourly candle can again exceed the recent average, accompanied by increases in price and open interest. If volume continues to shrink, this recovery currently lacks stronger confirmation.
$GRASS $ETH ETH reported at $2,323, ancient chips are awakening, and leveraged longs are bleeding
On the morning of October 29, there was intense on-chain activity: an ancient address dormant for 11 years transferred out 5,000 ETH, of which 1,500 ETH have been deposited into a CEX. Based on the ICO cost of $0.31 at that time, the unrealized profit exceeds 7,500 times.
The Ethereum Foundation on October 26 again sold 2,785 ETH in batches via CoW Swap, at an average price of about $2,304, exchanging them for USDS to earn interest.
The leverage side is also under pressure—ETH liquidations in the past 24 hours reached 286 million, exceeding BTC's 197 million; Binance long accounts are 2.76 times the number of short accounts, and crowding itself is a contrarian indicator.
Macro perspective: On October 28, the Federal Reserve maintained the interest rate at 3.75%-4.00%, but the market prices in over an 80% probability of a rate hike in December. Energy prices are pushing up inflation expectations, putting pressure on risk asset valuations. #美联储维持利率不变,12月加息分歧升温 Sun Yuchen Allocates BTC Funds to PEPE: Analysis of This Strategic Layout
1. Position Rotation: Maintain a Safe Base Position, Use Profit Positions to Capture High Volatility
Bitcoin is the ballast stone of the crypto market, a slow-moving asset with limited volatility; PEPE is the meme leader with extremely high elasticity and market explosiveness far exceeding BTC.
The underlying idea of this layout: keep BTC as the core base position to hold the fundamental position in the crypto sector; extract the floating profits and short-term offensive positions from BTC’s rise and switch them to the high-beta meme sector.
He has publicly expressed concerns about Bitcoin’s long-term quantum computing risks. During BTC’s sideways consolidation and limited short-term upside, using part of the profits to speculate on sentiment-driven markets is a typical "stable base position + speculative offensive position" combined strategy. It’s not bearish on Bitcoin or a full abandonment of BTC, but a layered capital allocation.
2. Creating Consensus Through News, Leveraging Whale Status to Drive Traffic Premium
Sun Yuchen himself is a highly influential figure in the crypto circle with massive inherent traffic.
Using BTC funds to buy PEPE naturally generates buzz: "A big player reallocates from Bitcoin to Frog Coin," easily igniting widespread discussion and creating FOMO sentiment. Meme coins lack technical or cash flow support; their value lies in traffic and consensus.
When the market widely spreads the narrative "whale sells BTC to enter PEPE," retail investors follow suit, causing concentrated buying pressure that rapidly drives up PEPE’s price. After buying, he withdraws and locks the tokens from exchanges, further reducing circulating supply and amplifying the price surge, effectively leveraging his influence to magnify market momentum.
3. Exchange Resource Synergy: Activating Traffic and Fees on Owned Trading Platforms
He is associated with HTX and Poloniex exchanges. PEPE is a top meme sector asset with high trading heat and turnover.
After heavy PEPE holdings, he can coordinate launch events, trading competitions, and liquidity support to attract many retail traders to trade PEPE on the exchanges, boosting platform trading volume and fee income.
Simply put: holding positions is only part of the profit; the trading volume generated by market heat brings another layer of revenue, a dual benefit from holdings plus platform business.
4. Betting on Market Rotation Cycles: Meme Markets Tend to Follow During Sideways Phases
The crypto market has a fixed rotation pattern: BTC starts first, then funds flow out to altcoins, and finally rotate to the meme sector.
When BTC enters a consolidation bottoming phase with weak upward breakout momentum, idle speculative funds seek small-cap, high-elasticity assets.
He bets on this phase: BTC no longer rallies unilaterally, market funds start seeking short-term windfall opportunities, meme season begins, and PEPE, as a veteran meme leader with the best liquidity and strongest community base, is the top choice in meme markets.
5. Sector Differentiation Hedge: Hedging Risks of Bitcoin’s Single Narrative
On one side is Bitcoin’s long-term narrative (digital gold, reserve asset), accompanied by bearish factors like quantum risk, regulation, and ETF fund volatility; on the other side is PEPE’s pure sentiment narrative with completely different market-driving logic.
The correlation between the two assets’ price movements is not always synchronized: when BTC weakens and funds seek safety, speculative capital sometimes clusters to trade memes. Allocating part of the funds to assets driven by completely different logics diversifies the risk of a single bet on Bitcoin. When I look at the prediction market for Bitcoin's price fluctuations, I usually check the order book first. The odds seem like a market consensus, but if both the buy and sell sides are thin, even a small order can push the price around. How many people's judgments are really behind this? Compared to regular spot trading, it's also constrained by settlement time and results. Sometimes I haven't even researched the event itself, but I get stuck at the order book: my judgment hasn't changed, but before the result comes out, I want to exit, and if no one takes my order, that's pretty frustrating.News on October 28: RedotPay is seeking a valuation of $5 billion. They've been quite active this year: obtaining an Argentine VASP license in March, while also completing MSB registrations in Canada and the US, and then securing another VASP registration in a different jurisdiction in June.
This is a signal for those working on U cards: the market is starting to price "card issuance + compliance licenses" itself, rather than just looking at user numbers and transaction volumes.
Why are licenses valuable? Because the crypto payment card chain is inherently long—card issuer, BIN sponsor, processor, fiat exchange channel—each link requires the corresponding license. Whoever can control these links themselves doesn't have to rely on others' goodwill and won't have the entire chain broken if a partner is investigated.
I've seen too many cards "suddenly become unusable," often not because the product was poorly made, but because an upstream partner ran into trouble.
So now when I look at new cards, my first question isn't how much cashback they offer, but who the card issuer is and what licenses they hold in which jurisdiction. PayAll compiles this information into comparable items, saving a lot of time on verification—when you have over 100 cards laid out together, you can immediately see which ones have a stronger foundation.Q: Why do I always want to grab a calculator when I see large amount alerts?
A: Because the amounts look intimidating. I only get a real sense of it when I convert it into how much money is at risk with each price move. Just seeing "tens of thousands of dollars" makes me overimagine.
Q: So what should this new short position really be calculated as?
A: Core Trader 57 opened a short of 529.09 SOL with 6x leverage, with a nominal value of about $52,700. My judgment is that nominal value is less useful than profit and loss sensitivity: with the position unchanged, for every $1 increase in SOL price, the unrealized loss increases by about $529, excluding fees; leverage only reduces margin requirements and does not reduce this price loss. Since the data doesn’t provide account equity or other positions, I can’t calculate the account’s capacity to bear this, nor would I interpret a large position directly as strong confidence.
Q: If monitoring could only add one more field to help you assess the risk of this short position, would you choose account net exposure or stop-loss price? Why?On November 29, a batch of HYPE tokens will be unlocked, gradually releasing 2.66%-3.6% of the total supply over the next two years, valued at approximately $314-316 million at current prices.
There has already been some movement before the unlock: about 2.6 million HYPE (around $91 million) were unstaked, and after a brief dip early Tuesday morning, the price rebounded.
I've always felt the unlock event is overanalyzed. The key is not "how many tokens are coming out," but "who will absorb them." Consider some figures: Q3 perpetual fee revenue was $165.5 million, and the Assistance Fund uses 88.7% of the fees collected to buy back HYPE on the market, currently holding 48.11 million tokens, accounting for 4.81% of the total supply. The daily fee income is about $2.2 million, annualized over $1 billion.
In other words, the protocol itself has a continuous buyback channel. The selling pressure from the unlock is real, but the other side is not empty.
I don't recommend making directional bets just because of the unlock—that's guessing. A more practical approach is to see if your position can withstand the volatility—especially when using leverage, as volatility will noticeably increase in the days around the unlock.
At times like this, the biggest risk is insufficient margin leading to forced liquidation. On HyperFill, I make sure to reserve extra margin in advance, preferring to open smaller positions rather than being passively forced out by volatility.$XMR has shown an interesting signal in the past couple of days: a new wallet deposited 4 million USDC into Hyperliquid, then opened a 5x leveraged long position on 3,000 XMR.
Let's break down the numbers. With 3,000 principal and 5x leverage, the nominal exposure is close to 1.78 million USD. Compared to the 4 million USD deposit, this position only uses less than half of the margin, leaving the rest of the funds idle in the account. This detail is more noteworthy than the position size itself: daring to open 5x leverage but not fully utilizing it indicates an intention to withstand volatility rather than just gamble and run.
Why this particular asset is also worth considering. The market has been oscillating around 80,000 for a long time, and mainstream coins have yet to provide clear direction, so capital naturally flows to small-cap assets with independent narratives. XMR happens to be the privacy coin that still retains liquidity and attention; once funds are willing to take a leveraged stance, its price elasticity is much greater than BTC.
However, a single transaction from one address does not constitute a trend. What really needs to be tracked are two things: first, whether there is continued accumulation or reduction of positions afterward; second, whether the spot price can hold key levels, rather than just the contracts being active. If the price cannot hold, no matter how large the margin is, it’s just bullets on paper.
XMR is currently priced around 118, with the 120 round number as a key level to watch. For reference only, this does not constitute any investment advice. Q3 data is out: Hyperliquid's open interest doubled to about $13 billion, accounting for approximately 53% of the entire perpetual DEX open interest market. During the same period, Variational grew by 78%, Lighter by 107%, and Aster by 66%—all increasing, but the gap hasn't narrowed.
What’s more noteworthy is the structure. Hyperliquid’s OI share is 58%, but its trading volume share is only 38.6%. What does the difference between these two numbers indicate? Users stay longer here, and capital retention is deeper. This volume isn’t driven by subsidies; people are genuinely placing positions here.
Q3 matching volume reached $688.7 billion, a 9.2% quarter-on-quarter increase, while the total on-chain perpetual trading volume halved from its peak at the end of 2025. In other words, the market is contracting, but the leading players’ shares are expanding.
My personal feeling is that depth is not noticeable in normal times but becomes apparent during extreme market conditions. For the same $100,000 market order, a platform with sufficient depth might have slippage of only a few basis points, while one without enough depth could wipe out half your profits.
So when choosing a trading venue, the first thing I look at isn’t the fee schedule but the actual execution during extreme market conditions. HyperFill’s effort in this area is execution quality—whether you can lose a little less on the same decision.Ethereum price remains volatile, but whale 0xdeA6 is still borrowing more funds to accumulate more. This strategy looks very risky!
This wallet just deposited 4,000 $ETH (worth $9.4 million) to Aave, borrowed 6 million USDT, and transferred it to Binance. The total collateral is currently 22,504 ETH, with about $31 million in stablecoin debt.
The health factor is only 1.42. A sharp drop in ETH price will put pressure on liquidation. Are the whales overconfident, or are they making a huge gamble? $ETH Federal Reserve meeting outcome: why did it rise first and then fall?
Last night, the core of the Federal Reserve meeting was not a rate cut benefit, but a pause in rate hikes, without releasing a clear easing signal. This is why Ethereum rose initially. The market first traded on the good news that interest rates would remain unchanged temporarily.
Subsequently, during the Q&A session, Waller stated: economic activity was upgraded from previous steady expansion to strong expansion, and employment performance was relatively stable.
Additionally, two members advocated for a 25 basis point rate hike: indicating that there are still hawkish voices within the decision-making body, and the possibility of further tightening policies in the future has not disappeared.
Not only influenced by the Federal Reserve, the ETH price premium indicator on US trading platforms has continuously been negative, and spot ETH ETFs have also seen consecutive net outflows of funds. This means some US market buying interest is weak, and the macro rebound may not be sustainable.
#美联储维持利率不变,12月加息分歧升温 $BTC Total market value returns to 3 trillion, but BTC dropped from 87,000 to 81,316 - 3 trillion is a reflection of sentiment, not a capital reservoir. $BTC: 81,316 USD. The level above 87,000 USD is the concentrated cost area for buyers over the past two years; selling pressure has twice ended this year's uptrend. This rise is accompanied by short squeeze and leverage accumulation; 87,000 acts more like a short-term ceiling than the start of a new trend. $ETH: 2,359 USD. ETF still had a net outflow of 88.6 million USD in one day, BlacIn the news about this round of negotiations, there is a detail that makes me hesitant to be directly optimistic.
The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that they are discussing with mediators how to implement a seven-day plan to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz; however, another senior Iranian official said that some ideas proposed in the latest mediation are unacceptable.
The coexistence of these two statements indicates that diplomatic contacts are indeed continuing, but there may still be a significant gap before all parties accept the same set of conditions.
Therefore, oil prices can fall due to hopes from the negotiations, but it cannot be assumed that supply risks have been eliminated just because a "plan has emerged."
This time, I will pay special attention to whether there is a mutually agreed arrangement afterward. Unilaterally describing one's own plan and having the opponent agree to implement it are different stages. Asset unfreezing, sanction adjustments, and blockade issues will also affect whether progress can ultimately be made.
Of course, I hope the situation eases. Long-term high energy costs are tough on ordinary consumers and businesses alike. But after seeing several rounds of back and forth, it is hard to be immediately convinced by a single statement of "progress made."
What the market is trading on now is the possibility of reaching an arrangement; what needs to appear next is an action both sides can jointly confirm. Whether the oil price decline can continue largely depends on this shift. When there is a lot of news, the scarcest thing is often both sides saying the same thing.
#霍尔木兹重开方案浮现,油价回落能否持续? Woke up to everything rising, but only my positions quietly bleeding. Have you ever had that feeling: the more lively the market, the more you feel left behind? What hurts me most this round isn't the loss itself, but the misaligned rhythm. PONS rose over 20%, RIVER also rose more than 10%, yet my account shrank by 6000u, mainly because these two positions were against the trend. It looks like "the market is bad," but actually I was on the wrong side and stubbornly held without correction. Data snapshot: - PONS intraday gain over 20%, strong momentum, short-term sentiment is somewhat euphoric. - RIVER rose over 10%, strengthening in sync, indicating it's not an isolated move. - My account drawdown is about 6000u, losses concentrated in counter-trend short exposures. - ETH, as a reference, is also warming up, risk appetite hasn't noticeably contracted. - This week also has the October FOMC rate decision, a macro variable hanging overhead. Momentum signals and risk signals should be viewed separately. On momentum, altcoins are strengthening simultaneously, ETH isn't dragging behind, indicating short-term funds are willing to take risks; on risk, small-cap pumps like PONS and RIVER will quickly draw back once macro turns hawkish. What I overlooked is the second layer of transmission: under cross-market linkage, US stock risk appetite and rate expectations first affect ETH, then pass to altcoins, while my position structure left no buffer. The bullish path is: sentiment holds before FOMC, ETH stabilizes, strong coins continue to attract chasing orders. The bearish risk is $IRYS This coin will have posts deleted as long as someone says the project team is bad or predicts it will drop.BTC has already rebounded 40%, but I am still bearish.
The highest in the first half of October was 87,200, and the highest from mid to the 28th was 84,900.
Three local lows: 80,400 → 79,800 → 79,200.
The rebound height is decreasing, and the pullback lows continue to move lower. This is the basis for my bearish stance.
The price is still above the 200-day moving average, but I pay more attention to the weakening structure in October, currently judging this as a bear market rebound.
Only after reclaiming and holding 84,000–85,000, and then making higher highs and higher lows, will I turn bullish.Seeing this kind of hourly surge, I get a familiar feeling from the last round: once the increase is eye-catching, everyone starts asking if it's its turn. I now tend to suppress the excitement first.
Hyperliquid perpetual public market shows that $kPEPE rose 4.45% in the past hour, from $0.004943 to $0.005163; 24-hour trading volume is about $62.97 million, open interest about $52.76 million, funding rate 0.0013%/hour.
Unlike the last round where it was easy to mistake the anomaly as a starting point, this time I prefer to see it as a localized emotional warming, not yet a cycle switch. The hourly increase indicates short-term activity, but a single asset cannot represent sector-wide spread; a positive funding rate means longs are paying costs, but it doesn't equal continuous spot capital inflow. My judgment is that the heat is there, but sustainability lacks evidence.
Do veteran players have the same familiar feeling? Do you wait for continued volume first, or watch if similar assets follow? After the FOMC announcement, the market is waiting for the next shoe to drop (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
Last night, the FOMC maintained interest rates unchanged with a 10:2 vote, which was expected. It was originally considered a small positive, but Wash's comment that "inflation remains high" kept the probability of a December rate hike at 76%, so market sentiment didn't fully relax _(:з」∠)_
On the market front, OKB became one of the few highlights: X Layer's RWA market cap growth last week ranked 3rd among public chains, combined with a 3x increase in trading volume, pushing the price above 110. Technically, it first broke through MA7 (109.59), next to watch if MA20 (115.40) and MA30 (118.48) can be tested in sequence; the path is quite clear.
PEPE is also strong but seems more like an independent rally: driven by Sun's selling and hoarding, plus news of a possible ETF approval, which has little to do with rate hikes. Spot volume in 24 hours increased 2.1 times to $45.86 million, and contract volume rose 1.7 times to $587.9 million, marking a real breakthrough linked to this movement ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
BTC surged to 81,000 then pulled back, with dense resistance above, MA20 (81,823), MA30 (82,619), and MA60 (81,485) all pressing down, making a breakout difficult.
This week likely won't see major moves; the focus is on the midterm election results on the 3rd. Once uncertainty settles, the short-term list of negatives will mostly be behind us~( ̄▽ ̄)~*

👇$SOL Looking back at the 2020–2022 altcoin cycle, the harshest part wasn’t the price surge, but first shaking people out. SOL surged from $1 to $5, then dropped back to $1, and after about 9 months touched $195, nearly 200 times; NEAR rose from $2 to over $7, fell back to $1.5, and later also surged to around $20.
Nowadays, when dealing with altcoins, often the only way to sleep well is to move in and out quickly; holding longer, the biggest fear might not be missing out, but getting liquidated first. The cycle really wears down people’s patience.Iran's stated four-day Hormuz reopening window, reduced from seven after sanctions relief, is a meaningful operational signal but not a transit guarantee. The unresolved sequence is the problem: Washington wants nuclear talks first, while Tehran ties reopening to relief.
UBS lifting year-end Brent to $110 reflects how inventories and shipping costs keep that dispute priced into oil. A formal plan would need sequencing, not just intent.
#HormuzReopeningPlan #USMidtermElections Trump's approval rating has dropped to 32%, close to a historic low. The midterm elections in 5 days could very well become a watershed moment for his second term and also decide whether the long-awaited bill for the crypto industry will have a chance 🧐🧐
The midterm elections can be understood as a "midterm exam" for the president, and Trump's report card this time is obviously not looking good.
The current situation is: the House of Representatives now has 218 seats for the Republicans and 214 for the Democrats. The Democrats only need a net gain of 3 seats to flip control. Nationwide polls show the Democrats leading by nearly 9 points, and combined with the president's low approval rating, a change of control in the House is basically the mainstream expectation.
⚠️ What does this have to do with the crypto world? (Key point!!!)
Trump is the most crypto-friendly president in history, but for his policies to be implemented, he needs Congress. The crypto market structure bill, the CLARITY Act, aims to clarify which coins fall under SEC jurisdiction and which under CFTC, and to set rules for exchanges. It is the "compliance ID" the industry has been waiting for many years. On September 15, it failed in a Senate procedural vote 49:50, losing by just one vote.
Who controls the new Senate basically determines whether this bill will be restarted next year or continue to be shelved. If the Democrats take the Senate, and key committees are led by members like Warren who are skeptical of crypto, regulatory clarity will be delayed at least another year. This is why the crypto industry has spent about $176 million participating in over 100 elections this time. Even if the president supports crypto, it’s useless without Congress cooperating. Samsung sets a record, but its stock price plummets: the problem isn't performance, it's the lack of surprises
The financial report is not bad: revenue and operating profit have hit new highs for four consecutive quarters. The only weak point is net profit of 75.2 trillion KRW, below the expected 89 trillion, mainly dragged down by non-operating items.
Why the sharp drop?
First, no surprises. The core figures were already announced in the early-month earnings preview; the official report is just a "repetition," and the market wants new variables.
Second, profits are too uneven. The semiconductor segment contributed about 106.5 trillion KRW in operating profit, supporting the entire group; meanwhile, the DX division, which includes mobile phones and home appliances, actually lost 0.8 trillion KRW. Once price hikes slow down, who will drive growth?
Third, spending is too aggressive. Annual capital expenditure is 84.4 trillion KRW (about $63 billion), a 60% increase, consuming cash, adding supply, and increasing depreciation—when new capacity comes online, how much profit margin will remain today?
The 30 trillion KRW dividend was already priced in, so its stimulus is limited.
Therefore, this is a gap between expectations and ongoing repricing, not a sign of a cycle peak. Management still expects strong demand and tight supply through 2027. After SK Hynix's earnings report and surge, the pressure on Samsung's HBM catch-up is even more apparent.
Looking ahead, three things matter: whether order prices can be revised upward to improve profit forecasts, and whether free cash flow can keep pace after capacity expansion.
Setting records only proves this quarter was good. For the stock price to continue rising, it must prove the future is better than the market expects.
