After biggest hack in crypto history, Despite the market drop, whales are still buying $BTC
Over the past 4 hours, 9 newly created wallets received 1,900 $BTC ($148M) $BTC options settlement didn't even bother to pull back from the biggest pain point at 78000, and the spot price was directly pressed down to 76675.
Usually, at settlement, they at least put on a show, but this time they didn't even pretend.
Big players are clearly actively smashing the market at the spot price, completely ignoring the market condition.
The order book is full of forced liquidations of long positions trampling each other, and the buy side underneath is as thin as a sheet of paper.
There isn't even a decent rebound; what is supporting this market?

The $PEPE hacker linked to Binance is still dumping tokens on DEXs at market price.
According to on-chain data, only 25% of the holdings have been released so far, with more than $20 million worth of tokens reportedly still waiting to be sold.
These tokens have virtually zero acquisition costs, meaning traditional support levels may offer little protection against sustained selling pressure. Any price recovery could simply become another exit opportunity.
#DailyOrbit $CORE has dropped to 0.014. The most glaring issue is not the price itself, but that it has turned "bottom fishing" into an action that keeps failing. Some judged 0.015 as the bottom and started building positions, but now the price has stepped down again, and breaking below 0.01 no longer surprises anyone—this is not an ordinary pullback, but a confidence drain under sustained selling pressure. What’s truly worth discussing is the split in market narratives. On one side, $CORE seems to approach the bottom each time only to face a new round of selling, with holders shifting from "adding a bit more" to "just watching"; on the other side, just pick any two names from the daily gainers, and their performance easily outpaces it. The capital hasn’t disappeared; it’s voting with its feet: with the same risk budget, traders prefer assets with volatility, liquidity, and clearer risk-reward profiles, such as meme tokens like $BEAT and $BICO. The key signal here isn’t a specific support level, but that "opportunity cost" is being repriced. When holders start openly admitting they won’t add more positions and instead observe, even understanding external criticism of the project team, the source of selling pressure shifts from panic selling to old positions running out of patience. This type of selling is characterized by slow, sustained pace and suppressed rebounds, which is why there’s a feeling of "always almost at the bottom, but never quite there." The problem with $CORE isn’t the magnitude of the drop, but the lack of new buying logic to interrupt the selling pressure. My judgment is: the short-term bearish structure has not yet been broken, and the conditions to confirm a reversal are very specific—not about how much more it falls, but whether the selling pressure is#BTC accelerating its rise, can the funds continue to take over?
On October 31, BTC consolidated weakly in a narrow range between $76,500 and $78,000, at a sensitive point of "unfinished deleveraging clearance." The daily chart broke below EMA15/30/60/90, with only EMA120 below; the MACD green bars continue to lengthen, showing no bottom divergence; the 4-hour EMA15 around 79,275 suppresses rebounds, oversold does not mean bottomed.
Key levels: Core support below at 76,200–76,400; if the daily chart confirms a break below, look down to 70,000 and deeper to 65,150; resistance above at 80,000–82,500, only a recovery there would indicate technical improvement.
Derivatives signals are bearish: Long positions account for 69.3% of all market accounts, but active long trades are only 37.2%, retail holders are holding positions while active selling has turned bearish; 24-hour long liquidations total $514.8 million, shorts only $97.6 million; most funding rates remain positive but Gate has turned negative, not yet a full capitulation.
ETF net inflows have continued for 3 consecutive days totaling about $424 million, which can provide a floor but is insufficient to hedge leveraged liquidations.Check $HYPE guys.

Immediately, some old community members fired back, saying that using locked funds to measure a currency's value is misguided; Dogecoin was born to be spent, not locked into various high-risk contracts.
Watching these two groups argue back and forth almost made me spit out my bun laughing. Outside in the groups, people are constantly wailing, thinking no one is managing this coin anymore, but down here, the core builders are still fiercely debating "which path to take."
Actually, thinking about it, if this really were a worthless mess no one wanted, who would bother so much to argue over the direction? The price is hovering around 0.075, and the daily chart just completed the first death cross of 2026. But when I glanced down at my account, I actually felt more confident. A community that openly discusses whether to pursue complex financial protocols or keep it simple for payments has a foundational vitality far stronger than that single bearish candle on the surface.$BTC long positions have piled up to 1363.3, while shorts are only at 73.05. ETH is even more extreme, 16800 versus 742.8. SOL is moving in the same direction. The leverage on the long side for these three major coins is simultaneously pushing higher, yet prices are moving downward — this combination just doesn't look right.
Adding to positions during a drop makes sense logically, but the concentration of positions is too high. The biggest risk in this structure is another bearish candle triggering a batch of liquidations, causing a chain reaction. Short-term volatility will be amplified—not a slow decline, but a pattern of sharp drops followed by quick rebounds.
Honestly, with longs this aligned at the current level, it actually makes me a bit cautious. It's not that the direction is necessarily wrong, but this level of crowding itself implies risk. Liquidations never happen because the direction was wrong, but because the positions can't withstand the volatility.🔥 BTC plunges again! $534 million liquidated, bulls retreating, can HYPE still stand strong?
The crypto market weakened again tonight, with BTC dropping to around $77,423, a 24-hour decline of 3.28%, and about $534 million liquidated across the network. More notably, BTC's drop coincided with a 1.48% decrease in open interest (OI), indicating some leveraged funds are exiting, and short-term risk appetite in the market has clearly declined.
🔵 BTC: The key support is near $76,000; if it continues to break down, watch out for a pullback to $75,000 or even lower; resistance to reclaim on the upside is in the $78,500–$80,000 range.
🔴 ETH: Fell by 3.86%, OI dropped 6.06%, showing more obvious capital withdrawal, with short-term performance weaker than BTC; rebound strength still needs to be observed.
🟢 HYPE: After a previous surge of 18%, gains narrowed to 4.02%, but OI still increased by 5.71%, indicating funds are still engaged in the game. There is a clear liquidity zone near $97–$98; a breakout or pullback could trigger sharp volatility.
🟡 My judgment: It’s not advisable to blindly chase BTC rebounds for now; ETH is relatively weak; HYPE needs caution for high-level oscillations. Next, focus on whether BTC can hold $76,000.

Former Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Ferguson warns: A 50 basis point rate hike in December is not ruled out, and there may even be one or two more hikes in 2027. September PCE rose to 3.6%, core PCE reached 3.1%, inflation pressure remains stubborn. 📉
Latest news shows some Fed officials support further tightening, and market concerns about year-end rate hikes continue to rise.
📉 $BTC fell below $78,000, watch support at $76,500–$76,000; if broken, it may further test $75,000.
📉 $ETH retreated to around $2,230, with $2,200–$2,150 as key support levels.

Conviction: sellers have the edge. This wave happened after Binance was hacked and about $6.3 billion was stolen, causing the market to panic and many people who were leveraged betting on a rise to be liquidated directly.
Simply put: Binance's hot wallet was stolen (suspected to be done by a North Korean hacker group), and a large amount of funds were swept away within about 20-40 minutes.
Binance said user funds are safe and they will compensate with their own insurance fund and company money, but withdrawals are temporarily suspended.
Once the news broke, everyone panicked. Bitcoin $BTC dropped from a high to around $76,000, and Ethereum $ETH also fell.
When prices drop, leverage suffers.
Many people used leverage of several times or even dozens of times to go long (bet on a rise). When the margin couldn't hold, the exchange forced liquidation.
According to CoinGlass data, about $1.5 to $1.65 billion worth of liquidations occurred across the entire market within 24 hours, with longs accounting for more than 80% (about $1.29 billion), and shorts only one or two hundred million.
Bitcoin-related liquidations were close to $500 million, Ethereum over $300 million, and Solana also had over $80 million.
Binance's own platform had the most liquidations, accounting for nearly half. About 240,000 traders were forcibly liquidated.
This is a typical "stampede":
Price drops → longs get liquidated → system forces sell → price drops even more → more people get liquidated.
High leverage itself is an amplifier; it feels great when prices rise, but a small drop easily triggers a chain reaction.
Later, prices rebounded a bit and some shorts started getting liquidated, indicating the market sentiment is still unstable.
For ordinary people, this incident reminds us of two things:
First, even big exchanges can have problems, so don't put all your eggs in one basket;
Second, leverage is a double-edged sword, especially when news hits suddenly, so don't heavily bet on a direction.
Although Binance said they will compensate this time, the market has already taught a lesson to high leverage with real money.$SOON Last year there was a large amount of trapped positions, and this year it has already risen a lot. If it rises again, it would be an act of kindness to help those trapped positions get out. I don't think the market makers are kind-hearted, so it's better to take profits while you can.#Прогноз financial results of RocketLab: how is the Neutron rocket progressing? This amount is equivalent to the annual GDP of a medium-sized country, disappearing directly from the market.
The money didn't just vanish into thin air; someone is running away with it. The selling pressure was most concentrated in the first few minutes after the open, indicating that overnight orders were queued up to sell, rather than a panic sell-off triggered during the session. This kind of move usually falls sharply and recovers quickly, with the spread in between being captured by market makers.
At times like this, the crypto market is the most direct indicator. $BTC and $ETH are tied to the risk appetite of U.S. stocks. When U.S. stocks drop, the Asian session crypto market usually first shrinks in volume, squeezing out some long leverage, and then rebounds. Bitcoin falls fast and recovers fast at this level; the trouble is not to chase shorts right at the open.
Ethereum's correlation with tech stocks is even tighter than Bitcoin's. When tech stocks undergo valuation cuts, ETH's volatility is amplified, with price swings more intense than BTC's. To bet on a rebound, the higher volatility offers better odds, but position sizes must be smaller.
What’s really worth watching is not this trillion-dollar drop, but whether anyone steps in over the next few days. If U.S. stocks stabilize after one day of decline, crypto is likely just taking a brief hit; if the decline continues, Bitcoin’s support levels will need to be redrawn.
I tend to see this as an emotional release, not a trend reversal. But keep positions light, leverage low, and wait until the U.S. market closes to see if funds return. The earnings report exceeding expectations reflects the last quarter, while the stock price reacts to the present and future, so the decline is inevitable Storage can't hold up either, where is the left-side bottom-fishing window?

There are roughly two paths: if both chambers are lost, the market may continue to sell off first, then brew a major reversal at some point; if Congress is split, it may directly reverse. My plan is to fully buy in batches on the left side before November 3, then increase leverage on the right side after news confirmation. #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 I want to have a dream, a daydream that $ETH crashes to 1000, hahaha!
Jokes aside, but looking at the current market, it really feels pretty good! I entered a short position at the high of 2354, watching it free fall all the way down, and now it has directly dropped to 2225.9, comfortably earning a 16.32% profit. If it could really crash to 1000, I wouldn't even dare to imagine that scene!
But we still have to return to reality and look at the hardcore logic of this market:
First, look at the candlestick trends. The daily and 4-hour levels are all standard bearish alignments, with moving averages pressing down like a mountain on the head. The previous high-level platform was smashed long ago, and the current downtrend channel is fully open. Every slight rebound is a volume-less bull trap, unable to create any waves.
Next, look at the order book depth. Keep an eye on the 2225.98 level above, which is directly pressing down a large order of 111.97 units, and above that from 2226 to 2226.06 there are rows of sell walls. The main force doesn't even bother to hide anymore; it's clear they want to crush the bulls to death. The buy orders below look plentiful but simply can't withstand this level of selling pressure.
The market is panicking, liquidity is drying up, so don't blindly catch falling knives now. Let's put the daydream of 1000 aside for now; take it one bite at a time and first see if it can smoothly break through the 2000 mark. Hold the short position steady and let the profits fly a little longer!
$BTC $SOL #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 Got dumped on $XDP today -5.07% | Rant summary: short on every rebound, don’t catch the falling knife after the market maker’s signal $XDP basically flopped the debut of new players today. Doppler Finance’s governance token had an average daily volume just over 2 million USD in the first six days, quietly climbing step by step, so quiet that even market apps didn’t bother to push notifications; yesterday volume spiked to 10 million USD to test the waters, and this morning it directly dumped 124 million USD, crashing the price from $0.01905 to $0.01766 in 24 hours, a 5% drop, with volume 35 times the six-day average — this isn’t a volume breakout, it’s a market maker’s big sell-off to clear inventory, and after the dump, the market maker signaled to exit, leaving 1.22 million USD worth of holdings scattered in the wind. It pushed out many old names from the hot list to make a brief appearance; the first day’s hype should be seen as a smoke screen, as the excitement usually fades faster than it arrives. Strategy first: short on rebounds, place short orders in two batches between $0.0188 and $0.0194, with a unified stop loss at $0.0196; if the previous high is broken, accept the loss and exit, don’t fight the trend; target support at $0.0171 first, if broken extend to $0.0167 for a full exit. Use 2 to 3 times leverage, starting with a 2:1 risk-reward ratio. Reason in one sentence: huge volume spike with a big bearish candle, every penny that rushed in is looking for a bag holder, the rebound is not a reversal, it’s a dedicated delivery service for short sellers. Don’t ask why it’s on the hot list, just know there’s too much money around Today I stared at the market for a long time and really didn't dare to make a move.
The current market is too brutal. In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $1.53 billion, with 238,800 people liquidated, 83.8% of whom were long positions. After BTC fell below 80,000, long positions liquidated $499 million; ETH was even worse, dropping over 5%, liquidating $358 million.
Several friends around me who chased highs recently are now either stuck or directly liquidated.
I originally wanted to buy some longs around ETH 2252 because that is a dense liquidation area below. But looking at the macro picture: core PCE year-on-year at 3.1%, overall PCE at 3.6%, both meeting expectations but continuing to accelerate, rate cuts completely postponed, and the probability of a rate hike in December still around 85%. Wash's "hawkish pause" keeps Bitcoin oscillating weakly between 78,000 and 83,000.
So today I lowered my targets: ETH at 2200, BTC at 77,700.
Even then, I might not buy. In this market, it's better to wait for a wick, a pullback, and a stable hold than to get buried by entering early. The past 24 hours have proven that leveraged bottom-fishing just fuels the manipulative whales.
$ETH $BTC #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 Technology is in a mess, mainstream coins have also plunged, and now the market is focused on Apple because only under these circumstances can Apple have an independent rally.
$AAPL current price 347.70, the market bets on a 76% probability of earnings beating expectations, plus the catalyst of foldable iPhone Duo production capacity news, Foxconn stocking up, offline pre-sales sold out, the new narrative is already online.
High oil prices and inflation expectations are suppressing the pace of rate cuts, valuations of cloud AI computing power targets like $SOXL and $SNDK are under pressure, and many bulls in the sector are still holding positions, so selling pressure has not been cleared.
Funds are unwilling to completely leave technology but cannot withstand the sharp sell-off in the computing power sector, so they are clustering around Apple. Apple is advancing edge AI, with restrained capital expenditure and stable cash flow, and the foldable new device has opened up new growth prospects, becoming a safe haven in technology.
This round of Apple’s strength is a market brought by risk rotation.
As long as crude oil does not fall and the storage sector has not completed chip turnover, AI computing power will be hard to rise, and Apple is more likely to have an independent strong performance.
Be patient and wait for the turning point; before that, watch computing power cautiously and move less, Apple is a direction with stronger certainty in technology. #苹果新CEO迎来iPhone18首份成绩单 Gold has trended on social media, plunging over 3% in the early morning, breaking below both 4000 and 3900. Why has it been falling continuously?
The sharp rise in December rate hike expectations by the Federal Reserve is the core bearish factor. The market now prices an 80% probability of a 25 basis point hike in December. U.S. Treasury yields and the dollar index have surged strongly, directly suppressing gold.
During the session, gold prices successively broke key supports at 4000 and 3950. The breakdown triggered algorithmic quantitative funds to short in line with the trend, causing the decline to rapidly accelerate in the short term.
After previously surging above 4000, a large amount of profit-taking positions accumulated. Facing uncertainty around macro rate hike expectations, large funds chose to lock in profits.
After releasing oversold momentum in the short term, avoid blindly chasing shorts at low levels to prevent getting caught in a liquidity-clearing rebound. Watch closely whether a volume spike and stabilization pattern can form around 3850. An $83 billion behemoth piece presses down on the center of the board, while Marvell holds only $3.9 billion in cash—this is not an acquisition, but a forced sacrifice attack in a time panic. The board immediately reveals a contradiction: Lumentum's size is the heavy piece, Marvell's cash is the light piece; a light piece leverages a heavy piece only by first borrowing a "queen." The financing structure is the landing spot of this queen; issuing shares is opening a line, borrowing is pressing a line, convertible bonds are a restraint; one wrong move, and the central pawn formation collapses instantly.
I never pay attention to the announcement day hype, only to the order of piece exchanges. Custom AI chips, lasers, high-speed optical links—if these three lines can be combined to control the central square, they can indeed push the initiative of the data center supply chain forward by two squares; but pricing is the piece exchange, financing is leveraging momentum, and integration costs are the pawn formation in the endgame. An $83 billion market cap is not a piece to be swallowed in one bite, and $3.9 billion cash is not a pawn to be discarded at will. Using high leverage for a strong attack may produce a loud short-term check, but the endgame may have isolated pawns and weak squares; using equity financing dilutes existing shareholders' positions, effectively conceding half an open line.
The news says a move may be made next week, which is a typical time panic scenario. True masters do not recklessly push pawns when the opponent is on the clock; they first calculate the three layers of changes: financing terms, regulatory path, and integration losses. The market's linkage to $xTSM is more like a mirror game: the main game is not yet set, the mirror moves first, and false first moves are most likely where liquidity is thin. The first check in a mirror game is often a decoy; if you only focus on the pulses reflected on the chain, you will overlook the imbalance of forces on the main board.
My judgment is straightforward: the winning or losing move in this game is not "whether to announce," but "what to exchange for." Insufficient cash forcing a swap for a heavy piece is equivalent to handing over the king's wing pawn chain to the financier; once integration costs exceed the budget, long-term value will be dragged into an endgame of grinding down the king. Announcement day is just notation; the real outcome is decided before the financing terms are finalized. #marvelllumentumtalks Intel's quarterly report is like a beautifully rendered facade elevation, but once you cut into the construction section, the density of the rebar in the load-bearing columns is immediately exposed — Q3 revenue rose 21% to $16.5 billion, EPS was $0.52, and the acceptance certificates for the completed floors do look good, but the Q4 guidance is directly cut down to a range of $15 billion to $16 billion, with EPS only $0.25. This is not just a renovation adjustment; it's as if the construction plan for the subsequent floors was halved on the spot by the client.
What really unsettles the structural engineers are two things. First, the slowdown in PC demand is expected to continue into the first half of next year, which is equivalent to extending the foundation settlement period of the entire building. No matter how fast you build above, the base keeps sinking slowly, and cracks will inevitably climb up along the core tube. Second, the shutdown of the Israeli factory affects Q4 shipments, which is a supply chain disruption of prefabricated components — no matter how good your construction organization design is, if the custom steel structures for beam-column joints don’t arrive, the tower crane has to wait idly, and penalty clauses for construction delays will be triggered one by one.
Having worked on projects for so many years, the worst scenario is this: the completed parts show impressive data, but the client and management team have fundamental disagreements over the construction drawings for the next phase. The big bearish candle after market close essentially reflects investors casting a vote of no confidence on the structural calculation report of this building. You may treat Q3 revenue growth as the fireworks for the building topping out, but what they see is the Q4 suspended work platforms and a sharp drop in formwork turnover rate.
Looking at the linkage with the US stock token $xSNDK, it carries not just Intel’s renovation aesthetics but the municipal utility load of the entire semiconductor industrial park. When the follow-up construction rhythm of the flagship project is disrupted, the valuation models for the surrounding supporting sections all need to be redone with new load combinations. This is not an emotional pullback; it’s a demand to redraw the underlying reinforcement diagrams.
Whether a project can stand is never judged by how dazzling the model room lighting was on opening day, but by whether the underground garage leaks during the rainy season and whether the shear walls have shifted. The Q4 guidance is that rainy season construction special plan — now that the plan has been submitted, the supervisor only approved two words: rework. #intelq4outlookmissBTW this drop was caused by unlocked tokens being dumped.
November 2: Released 101.60 M, accounting for 1.02% of total supply
Tokens are released every month, but the big holdings from the team and investors won't be unlocked until March 2027. The market is thin, and when new tokens get dumped, it directly wipes out a wave of longs, many long positions get liquidated, and funding rates have turned negative. The selling pressure hasn't cleared yet, so don't rush to bottom-fish and catch a falling knife. On the sounding chart, the cloud-top brightness temperature of the data center column has dropped to minus eighty degrees, while on the same vertical profile, the consumer end experiences a subsidence inversion at minus twenty-nine degrees—two completely opposite vertical shears in the upper and lower layers, something I've only charted a few times during my years on duty.
Storage vendors' first-quarter revenue surged to $11.031 billion, up 378% year-over-year and rising another 23 percentage points quarter-over-quarter. This is not stratiform precipitation covering the entire area, but a strong convective outbreak at a single station: moisture is drawn away from the consumer end in an entire layer and transported entirely over the data center. The data center posted $4.802 billion in a single quarter, up 61% quarter-over-quarter; the consumer end dropped 29 points quarter-over-quarter. On one side is a warm, moist jet; on the other, dry, cold subsidence; separated only by a shear line, with isobars so dense on the data center side they almost merge into a solid mass.
More worth watching is the forecast for the second quarter: a revenue range of $12.2 billion to $12.6 billion, translating to $55 to $57 per share before splits. Numerical models show a warm ridge continuing to shift northward; management attributes growth to strong and sustained demand—in meteorological terms, the moisture channel remains open, the boundary layer continues to supply energy, and dew point temperatures are rising rather than falling.
But we must consider teleconnections. Upstream, this storage engine and downstream XORCL are essentially two stations under the same subtropical high-pressure control. The spiral rainbands on the typhoon's periphery always arrive before the eyewall: computing power orders land first, while equity pricing reactions lag by half to a full phase. The strongest winds are on the data center side, where gust fronts are most likely—any interruption in warm, moist transport at any time step will release the previously established full-layer instability in the most intense way.
The 29-point negative growth at the consumer end is not light rain but descending airflow. It is temporarily masked by the data center's upward motion but cannot cover the increasingly thin stable layer in the sounding data. Ensemble forecast divergence converges toward the warm zone, but the extreme value tail still hangs in the cold zone, with low visibility and a widely spread probability circle.
According to business standards, this structure warrants at least a strong convective potential alert: not widespread heavy rain, but localized, sudden, vertically vigorous convective cells with very narrow impact areas and extreme intensity.
My assessment is: this convective cloud has already developed into a mesoscale convective complex, with a clear eye area, complete spiral rainbands, and no weakening features on radar echoes—but the stability beneath it has already been rewritten by the northeast airflow at the consumer end. #sandiskq1revenueup378%#Palantir Earnings Report Expectations: Can High Growth Support the High Valuation? $NEAR This buyback makes me laugh out of anger.

Today it finally broke below the 80,000 mark completely, steadily dropping to around 77,000, shrinking 4% in a single day; ETH performed even worse, easily breaking below 2250; $SOL was even more miserable, crashing straight down to 95. A few days ago, some people came to argue with me, saying "The US stock market keeps hitting new highs every day, and the crypto market has been sideways for so long without falling, it must be holding back a big move and is about to catch up."
I replied at the time: just forget it and go to sleep. When AI concept stocks start to turn down, cryptocurrencies are not a safe haven at all; they are typical high-beta assets—when tech stocks sneeze a little, the crypto market goes straight to the ICU; today, as the Nasdaq and Philadelphia Semiconductor Index crashed, the crypto market immediately followed with a big plunge, exactly this logic.
The so-called "decoupling from US stocks" and "digital gold" are fairy tales only believed during bull markets. When the whole market is deleveraging and squeezing bubbles, everyone is like grasshoppers on the same rope, water in the same pond. Facing this correction, are you planning to stubbornly enter to catch the bottom, or hold onto cash and wait for the dust to settle?
#美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 The "$BTC" "post-drop phase" tests the chips even more
Last night, the Binance security incident stirred the market, with an impact scale of about $6.3 billion causing sentiment to tighten sharply. But more troublesome than the drop is the chips waiting to be unlocked above. Data shows BTC profit-taking is only 4.03%, about 96% of positions are at a floating loss, with an average cost of about $78,967; the $78,000–$81,000 range is also a dense cost zone. This means that when the rebound reaches this range, the unlocking positions may become natural selling pressure, and a single bullish candle is unlikely to prove a reversal.
Today, focus on two points: whether the rebound expands in volume, and whether the price can gradually digest the trapped chips. A low-volume rebound looks more like a repair, not a trend reversal; only with volume cooperation and repeated turnover in the dense zone can the market have a stable foundation. Black swan panic will recede, but chip pressure will not automatically disappear.
As for how long it takes to stabilize again, there is no need to guess the exact number of days. If there are no further shocks from the incident, the market may use weeks of oscillation to turnover; if the security incident ferments or macro weakens, the time will be longer. The key is not to guess the bottom, but to see if the $78,000–$81,000 range can turn from resistance into support. Before stabilizing, treat the rebound as a "unlocking window" first. #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 #OKX、ICE与Trade.xyz联手,推动永续合约进入美国合规市场 #加密行业协同守护资产安全 ICE brings institutional credibility, Trade[XYZ] brings the market design, and Hyperliquid supplies the infrastructure.
What makes this interesting is the potential to bring traditional assets into continuously traded, on-chain markets without relying on conventional exchange hours.
For $HYPE, this could expand demand beyond crypto-native traders. The real milestone will be liquidity, execution quality and actual institutional participation.
#OKXICETradeXYZPerps Judging by the price of crude oil, technology still needs to fall further
Crude oil $BZ has stabilized and rebounded, stuck above 113. This level is the core constraint suppressing the technology and storage sectors, and the interplay between the two is very subtle.
When oil prices rise, it directly pushes up inflation expectations. The market will assume that high inflation is unlikely to fall quickly, and interest rates will remain high for longer. In a high interest rate environment, growth stocks with long-term valuations like technology and storage are hit the hardest. Capital will recalculate: future profits discounted will depreciate, so investors are unwilling to pay high premiums, and valuations for storage and semiconductors naturally continue to be under pressure.
Currently, the market forms this cycle: rising oil prices → rising inflation expectations → delayed rate cut expectations → pressure and weakness on technology growth sectors.
Adding to this is the chip issue we mentioned before: the semiconductor sector currently has a very high proportion of bulls, with many still holding positions and adding to their positions, so selling pressure has not been cleared. The ongoing bearish catalyst from crude oil makes it even harder for $SOXL and $SNDK to reverse.
It’s not that technology will crash immediately when oil prices rise; it won’t be a simple synchronized plunge, but rather sustained emotional suppression. As long as crude oil does not show a decent pullback, the shadow of inflation won’t dissipate, making it difficult for technology to mount a decent rebound. Most likely, it will continue to grind and release bullish positions.
The turning point requires two signals to resonate: crude oil turning downward + collapse of confidence and turnover among bulls holding positions in the sector. Until then, it’s best to stay out of the market and observe, not rush to bottom fish. $XRP
I take the OCC trust license very seriously. Ripple is the first crypto company to obtain a national-level trust license in the US, so future custody and stablecoin businesses will have proper licensing backing. But the price doesn't seem to acknowledge this.
Tonight, XRP tested at 1.2479, dropping 4% in 24 hours from a high of 1.3006 to a low of 1.1987, with Binance at 1.2484 matching that. Some say the good news is fully priced in, but I don't entirely agree: BTC also dropped nearly 5% the same day. This wave is the market pressing down on the good news, not an issue with the license itself.
When I wrote about XRP last month, I still thought the long-term logic was quite sound. But the logic hasn't changed a bit, yet the price still fell. It's the same old problem: being right in analysis doesn't mean making the right move. I’m not touching this money now.
#美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 $BTC
After watching exchange hot wallets for two days, I only realized after seeing the reminder from OneKey CEO: there are $63 billion worth of BTC lying in BlackRock's IBIT, and theoretically, this pile of coins is also a target for North Korean hackers. Previously, I only thought about cold wallet security, forgetting that the scale itself is also a target.
From 2019 until now, North Korean-linked hackers have stolen about $9.6 billion, with Binance alone accounting for $6.4 billion this time. The fear and greed index has dropped to its lowest since August. BTC was tested at 77,444 tonight, dropping nearly 5% in 24 hours from a high of 81,389 to a low of 76,472, with Binance at 76,444 matching that.
The fee rate is still 0.01%, with positions at $2.64 billion not shrinking much; the bulls haven't given up nor panicked. My judgment: panic hasn't reached the point of a bank run yet, but as long as the hacker wallets aren't cleaned out in a day, I consider any rebound just a pullback.
#美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 Is $CORE about to die?
"People have left" — who left is ten times more important than the fact that they left.
On October 28, Rich Rines and Brendon Sedo stepped down from their DAO positions. The official wording was "entering the next phase of decentralization," with the community taking on more governance responsibilities.
Rines was not an ordinary contributor. With a Coinbase background, he was the technical driver behind the mainnet launch. Sedo managed Core Ventures' ecosystem fund deployment. These two were the most recognizable "faces" of Core.
But the real sting isn’t that they left. It’s that the announcement didn’t name successors or provide a handover timeline. People left, and their positions remain vacant.
A community comment has been repeatedly quoted: "The project calls this the next step of decentralization, but the market only reads it as 'people left.'"
"Nodes withdrew" — only one node away from the critical line.
The number of independent validators has dropped below 20, completely missing the original target of 31 validators.
What is the consensus safety threshold for Satoshi Plus? If it drops to 15 or below, a collective outage or collusion among a minority of nodes can freeze consensus and halt block production.
Below 20, the red line is 15. There’s less than a 5-node buffer in between. Moreover, the remaining nodes are "highly coordinated," with no neutral nodes holding dissenting opinions.
Nodes aren’t "exiting" abruptly; they are "slipping away." A little less each day, with no announcements, no breaks. By the time anyone notices, the number is already dangerously close to the red line.
"Price drop" — the manner of the drop is more telling than the magnitude.
In the past 30 days, -25.27%; in 6 months, -52.37%; in one year, -92.52%. On October 29, the intraday low was $0.01403, breaking all previous lows with no support below — a blank slate.
But more telling than the drop percentage is the pattern of the decline. There’s no heavy-volume sell-off candle, no event-driven crash worth noting in retrospectives. It’s a slow drip every day, with no identifiable "moment." Looking back over three months, the price has stepped down from one level to another.
A slow decline doesn’t ring an alarm. It just makes the bell lighter day by day.
Then comes the most fatal layer: exchanges shutting down one by one.
Bithumb announced on October 30 that it will terminate CORE trading support on November 30, citing "unresolved specified issues." CoinEx started delisting procedures in September. Of the 34 exchanges listed, 21 have delisted, leaving only 13 still maintaining support.
Exchanges don’t engage in narratives. They only consider liquidity, compliance risk, and operational costs. When thirteen individual rational decisions accumulate, the result is exits closing one door after another. When Bithumb officially stops trading on November 30, the exit channel will narrow further.
Connecting these three events reveals a script long written.
On OKX, an analysis on October 29 was titled "CORE’s ‘soft exit’ path was actually paved long ago." Several facts are worth quoting here:
The Cayman Islands legal entity, anonymous core contributors, and exclusion of U.S. users from token distribution — these three legal firewalls form a complete liability isolation system. The dispute between the CORE Foundation and Maple Finance is handled by the Cayman Islands Supreme Court, exposing this structure: the foundation can apply for injunctions and freeze assets under offshore jurisdiction, while token holders have almost no effective recourse.
More crucial is the next sentence: the team is accused of converting protocol profits into BTC and other hard assets instead of using them for ecosystem buybacks. The 2026 roadmap’s narrative of "using BTC staking rewards to buy back CORE" has yet to see any large-scale, on-chain verifiable buyback execution.
There’s also a sentence every staker should repeatedly read: in the dual staking mechanism, BTC lock-up has a fixed term, but CORE can be unstaked at any time — this is the exit channel the team reserved for themselves. When liquidity continues to dry up, exchanges delist contract trading pairs one after another, and order book support drops to zero, staked CORE will become on-chain digital assets that cannot be liquidated.
"They won’t announce a run. They will just let the chain keep running until the last person realizes there’s no one left to take over."
So, is $CORE about to die?
"Dying" is an emotional term. In ledger terms, the current state is:
The chain is still producing blocks, but real economic activity on-chain is approaching shock. TVL has shrunk from a peak of 1 billion to 3.85 million, daily DEX volume once dropped to only $900, on-chain fees are $2.52. SatPay is continuously delayed, buybacks remain only on the roadmap, and no on-chain transfers can be identified as "buybacks executed with ecosystem revenue."
Governance rights have not been decentralized along with responsibilities. Node operation costs have been offloaded, but code repository and treasury management remain. The two most well-known contributors have left, and no successors exist.
Exit channels are physically narrowing. From 34 exchanges to 13, with Bithumb shutting down on November 30. Liquidity isn’t just "worsening," it’s becoming an irreversible scarce resource.
This isn’t a question of "dying or not." It’s a question of a "soft exit" script being executed chapter by chapter. People leave, nodes withdraw, exchanges shut down, price declines slowly — these four events are not isolated bad news but readings on the same timeline at different scales.
$2.52. Remember this number. It answers more honestly than any announcement, any "new phase of decentralization" statement, or any single-day rebound how much real value this chain is creating today.
$CORE Conclusion first: The media says "$BTC is set to record the worst October in 12 years" (Cointelegraph 10-30: -7.7%). I verified with monthly data from two exchanges: Binance October opened at 83,623.6, now 77,566, down 7.24%; OKX perpetual opened 10-01 at 83,579.8, now 77,443, down 7.35%. Since 2018, only October 2018 and 2025 saw declines (-3.8%, -3.9%), making this year the worst.
The key point is not this: Within the 7.2% drop, the bulls have been paying continuously. OKX BTC perpetual funding rates from 10-27 to 10-30 were all positive; on 10-30 at 16:00, the rate was 0.01%/8h = 0.03%/day, meaning bulls with 100,000 positions paid $30 per day for free. At the same time, total BTC contract open interest across the market at 16:00 was still $3.68 billion, almost unchanged; the Fear & Greed Index on 10-30 was 30 (fear), down from 51 (neutral) the day before.
The background is a broad sell-off in risk assets: Nasdaq 100 down 3%, gold dropped to a one-year low at $3,891; Binance lost $6.3 billion in a hack, with about $1.6 billion liquidated within 24 hours.
The narrative shouts "worst," but the bleeding is in the positions. Are you still holding long positions this October? US INFLATION DATA KEEPS THE FED IN FOCUS
September core PCE inflation rose to 3.1% YoY, while headline PCE reached 3.6%. Both matched expectations, but the bigger concern is what comes next.
The Fed’s 10-2 decision to hold rates didn’t remove the possibility of another hike. Markets are still pricing in a strong chance of a December increase.
For risk assets, the rate outlook remains a key variable.
#USCorePCERisesTo3.1% Although there was the theft incident today, the market focus is undoubtedly still on US stocks AI, especially after Amazon and Intel's earnings reports caused such a severe drop that the original AI narrative now seems unsustainable. This bottomless money-burning pit has made the market very pessimistic, and it seems difficult to stop the decline without a new narrative.
In fact, at the latest since Q2, the market has stopped rewarding the money-burning game of low income and high expenditure. From a long-term cycle perspective, the September rebound was actually just the aftershock of the July decline. If there were still illusions about the AI bubble before, this drop undoubtedly proves that the AI hype has peaked.
When Anthropic goes public next month, it may coincide with a period of market liquidity and confidence recovery, but Anthropic's massive cash burn will likely offset any possible macro improvements, making people somewhat pessimistic again.
The current AI craze has caused hardware prices to soar, storage prices to surge, which in turn has increased costs across the entire industry chain. Amazon raised its Q2 capex citing storage costs, Samsung's mobile and home appliance division lost 800 billion KRW due to storage price hikes, and Intel's PC revenue dropped by 5%.
Against the backdrop of terminal revenue insufficient to support this bottomless money-burning, an invisible upper limit on stock prices has actually been drawn.
Returning to Bitcoin, there was probably already demand for further decline, compounded by the US stock market crash and the theft catalyst, today's drop can be seen as an acceleration, but from another perspective, with such a big negative event only pushing it down to 76k, isn't that quite strong? #加密行业协同守护资产安全 ⚠️PCE meets expectations, can the crypto world finally catch a break?
September core PCE year-over-year is 3.1%, overall 3.6%, the data indeed didn't explode and meets expectations. But look closely: month-over-month it's still rising, the core is even accelerating, still far from the Fed's 2% target.
What's worse, at the Fed's October meeting, the vote was 10:2 to keep rates unchanged, but Cook and Harker directly voted for a rate hike. Once the data came out, the market's bet on a December rate hike surged above 80% at one point. Although "at one point" means the probability may change and the hike hasn't landed yet, this signal is already clear—tightening is not over.
For the crypto world, the worst scenario is this: inflation hasn't scared anyone to death, but it also hasn't given the Fed any reason to relax. BTC dropped below 77,000 that day, falling over 5.8% intraday, ETH and SOL followed with a plunge. This isn't panic; the market is telling you with real money: liquidity easing still has to wait.
Many see "meets expectations" and shout that the bad news is priced in, ready to bottom-fish. Wake up, "not worse" does not equal "getting better." A rebound is possible, but whether it can go far doesn't depend on sentiment or slogans, only on one thing: whether real money buying comes in.
Keep an eye on US Treasury yields and the dollar; if they don't weaken, the crypto world shouldn't expect a real turnaround. #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 $BTC $ETH #Palantir财报前瞻:高增长能否支撑高估值 📉 Differentiation even in weakness: some take off by riding the trend, others are dragged down by unlocks

$6.3 billion in USD terms is the largest, but not in BTC terms. MtGox had 650,000 BTC!
Other important numbers to consider:
Bitcoin percentage (relative to total BTC supply), i.e., market impact. MtGox's share there is also large, over 5%.
Number of affected users and the percentage of assets affected per user. MtGox (then the largest CEX) and FTX (also sizable) both had nearly 100% of users and their assets affected.
The most important point: who was affected? Did the platform fully compensate? (Only one victim), like the recent two CEX cases and Binance.
Obviously, this remains a major disaster for the entire industry, Binance (and me). It hurts, but we got through it.
Most importantly, we protected our users. $HYPE $ZEC SanDisk. Crashed! Who will save it?
Earnings reports are "history," stock prices trade on expectations + cycles; good news is priced in early, and guidance falling short of extremely high expectations means good news is already realized and the stock gets sold off.
This quarter's revenue and EPS exceeded expectations, but management's midpoint for next quarter's revenue guidance is below Wall Street's consensus. The market isn't afraid of making more money now, but fears slowing growth and flattening price increase slopes. Much of this high gross margin relies on NAND price hikes, not shipment volume, and investors worry the price rally has peaked.
The previous AI storage rally surged sharply; before the earnings report landed, the stock price had already priced in the "better-than-expected performance" good news. Once the report came out, the good news was fully realized, and short-term funds took profits and exited immediately.
The storage sector moves in the same direction; Micron and Western Digital are also under pressure; the semiconductor sector overall is seeing valuation cuts, with highly cyclical stocks hit even harder. Even if the company itself is not bad, sector sentiment dragging down will cause it to fall as well.
Currently, the high gross margin is built on tight supply and price increases. Investors are betting: after Samsung, Hynix, and Kioxia expand production, will NAND prices reverse downward? Meanwhile, PC and mobile terminal demand is weak, with only AI data centers as a pillar, and there is skepticism about the sustainability of demand. #闪迪MSCI调仓生效,NAND估值受关注 $SNDK Post 1: Binance hacked for $6.3 billion
🚨 The largest crypto theft in history! Binance reveals about $6.3 billion in assets affected
📊 Binance states that the security incident on the evening of October 29 impacted approximately $6.3 billion, about $3 billion has been frozen on-chain, and they promise to "cover all losses" using the SAFU fund and company funds (ABC, CNBC); TRM estimates about $6.36 billion was transferred out, involving 10 chains (cited by Al Jazeera).
🔍 Preliminary investigation: attackers may have accessed service containers and submitted unauthorized withdrawals through a DevOps engineer's compromised laptop; Binance says no evidence of private key leakage was found.
🧮 About $3 billion has been frozen, accounting for about 48% of the total affected amount; SAFU has about $1 billion, less than one-third of the unfrozen portion of about $3.3 billion (FinanceFeeds, my own calculation).
🏷️ The previous largest hack was Bybit in February 2025 with about $1.5 billion stolen, this time is about 4 times that amount (Crypto Times).
