$BTC and the US midterms.
I’d only give the 2018 and 2022 cycles real weight when looking at Bitcoin's reaction to midterm elections.
Before then, BTC's market cap was relatively small, making it harder to draw meaningful conclusions about political cycles and their impact on the market.
The historical picture:
2018 midterms | BTC dropped roughly 50% in the aftermath.
2022 midterms | BTC declined around 28% afterward.
2026 midterms | The next chapter is still unwritten.
