ETF flows are still supporting the market, but the pace has slowed.
Recent data showed BTC ETF inflows around $31M and $ETH ETH around $17M, after much larger previous sessions.
Capital is still coming in.
But traders are watching whether demand accelerates or fades.
This is the macro tug-of-war for Q4.
BTC & ETH: The Core Catalysts
These two always have dedicated catalysts, and October is no different.
$BTC :The focus is on ETF flows, with around $2.4B captured between Sept 21-25. On-chain data via the adjusted MVRV indicator suggests a potential regime change from an early bullish phase to a true bull regime.
$ETH :The Glamsterdam upgrade hits the Sepolia testnet on October 6.This is a major milestone for scalability, making Ethereum faster and more secure
THE "UPTOBER" QUESTION: WILL HISTORY RHYME?
September closed green for $BTC (not bad ), and October is historically its strongest month.
But the setup is different:
• 30-year Treasury yield at 5.61% is a massive headwind.
• Rate hike odds for October are a coin flip.
• BTC dominance is testing the 57.8% line in the sand.
All eyes are on tonight's core PCE print. Cool inflation = "Uptober" is back on. Hot print = brace for volatility.

Just received Arkham monitoring data,
Wall Street giant Morgan Stanley increased its holdings by about 1,650 $BTC last week through its spot Bitcoin ETF (MSBT),
total holdings surpassed 10,000 for the first time, now reaching 10,436, valued at approximately 875 million USD.
This is not retail investors rushing blindly; it is traditional financial whales continuously accumulating.

u.s. spot bitcoin etfs, funds that hold btc for stock-market investors, had $148.7m in net outflows on september 30. that ended nine straight days of inflows. fidelity's fbtc accounted for 84.5% of it, and nine of the 12 tracked funds saw no flow at all, so it doesn't look like a broad exit. redemptions can be paid in cash, which means selling btc, or by moving coins out of the fund. the mix isn't known, so how much btc was actually sold is unclear.
