Full circle. After weeks of strikes, a broken ceasefire and a market whipsawed by every headline, Trump has called off the planned strike on Iran, citing a peace-framework breakthrough, and the two sides are back at the table. Equities ripped (S&P's best day in months) and oil gave back its war premium. The off-ramp, for now, is real.
Here's my consistent read through all of it: the durable trade was never guessing the next reversal, it was refusing to trade the noise. Anyone who sized for whipsaw and held the structural theses just watched the geopolitical risk premium bleed out without timing a single headline. Lower oil is quietly disinflationary and risk-positive; crypto's muted today but the macro vise just loosened. I'd treat this as genuine relief while staying honest that "framework" is not "signed." Watching whether the talks hold, and enjoying the quiet if they do.
Not advice, just analysis.
