Iran's proposal to reopen Hormuz within two days puts sanctions and frozen funds at the center of any near-term shipping recovery. With traffic still around half its prewar level and OPEC production over 3M barrels per day below prewar output, Brent's $117.64 close reflects a supply constraint that diplomacy could ease, but no deal exists yet.
