JUST UPDATE !
Altcoin ETF flows split: ZEC and NEAR drew inflows while SOL, XRP and HYPE lost funds. ZEC added $1.96M for a fifth straight day, NEAR added $1.40M for a fourth. SOL led outflows at $8.23M, HYPE lost $4.30M and XRP $3.61M. Money is picking sides rather than leaving altogether. Small but steady flows into ZEC and NEAR stand out if the streak holds.

#OctFOMCDecisionThisWeek The current core contradiction: the simultaneous absence of two “stable buy orders”
This is the most significant structural change to face today. Strategy has paused buying BTC for the first time in five weeks, and the US spot ETF saw an outflow of $772 million over two days (October 22: $635.6 million + October 23: $137.9 million). Strategy and ETFs were previously regarded by the market as the two most stable sources of marginal buy orders. Their simultaneous halt before the FOMC means that the support around 80,000 lacks an “organized absorbing force.”
A deeper concern lies in the “quality” of the buy orders: over $80 million in buy orders have clustered in the $78,000–$79,000 range, but a significant portion comes from futures limit orders rather than spot buy orders. Futures limit orders may be withdrawn before execution and may not convert into real spot demand. Meanwhile, Coinbase’s premium index has been negative for 33 consecutive days, currently at -0.15%, indicating continued weakness in US buy orders; exchange stablecoin reserves have dropped to $60.62 billion, the lowest in nearly 12 months, with a 7-day average net outflow of $93.9 million — the “ammunition” available to absorb selling pressure is shrinking $BTC $ETH $ZEC #SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? $HYPE
Kraken's move here is to directly elevate Hyperliquid from an off-the-chain wild card to a compliant product in the U.S.
Payward (Kraken's parent company) is negotiating cooperation with Hyperliquid to bring the on-chain perpetual contract market into the U.S., likely becoming the first HIP-3 deployer regulated by the CFTC. The funds that previously considered it gray area now have to recalculate their positions.
The price is quite restrained; HYPE is currently at 77.4, up only 1% in 24 hours, peaking at 80.6 before falling back. The funding rate is 0.01%, with positions totaling 97 million USD, showing no signs of leveraged frenzy.
It's healthier in my view that good news doesn't cause a spike. If it had surged 20% in one day, I'd suspect it was a pump-and-dump based on insider info.
By the way, Brother Maji lost all his Papertrade funds on Hyperliquid, with only about 4,500 USD left in his account. I've also died in such high-leverage places back in the day; seeing this number doesn't make me smile.
#本周将公布10月FOMC利率决议 $ETH is constantly being criticized every day, with people saying Ethereum will go to zero.
But yesterday, nearly 170,000 ETH were withdrawn from exchanges, the heaviest withdrawal day in four months.
Whales were buying up around 2300, then moved everything into cold wallets.
Retail investors cut losses and shorts were celebrating, but all the liquid chips were packed away.
With the pool drained like this, I wonder where else they can dump it.

👇#SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? Why I don't dare to give a higher probability
The stock price has fallen about 28-30% from its high in three months (26% drop in 5 trading days in mid-October), because the market has started to worry about overcapacity in 2029 and the technological progress of China's Changxin Memory, rather than this quarter's performance. This implies two points: the better-than-expected positive news may have already been priced in (memory price data is too transparent, TrendForce/SemiAnalysis is visible to everyone); and once it misses, the drop will be significant. So "better-than-expected earnings report" and "stock price rise" are two different things hereOver the weekend, $BTC fell below 79,168, and many rushed to find the "culprit," but the truth is: this was a coordinated sell-off with no single mastermind. 🍜 Let's look at the hardest evidence first: from October 22 to 23, U.S. spot ETFs saw a net outflow of about $773 million. This reflects a real decline in buying momentum, not just emotional noise. But note, U.S. stock markets were closed over the weekend, so ETFs couldn't trade and thus were not the direct driver of the weekend sell-off; instead, they had already withdrawn support from beneath the floor. The real pressure came from the combination of three forces. First, macro risk appetite was suppressed: Middle East tensions, high oil prices, and doubts about AI investment returns all weighed on risk assets. Second, this week’s FOMC meeting with an unclear rate hike path made funds hesitant to move. Third, volatility in the French bond market combined with oil prices acted as an "amplifier"—chaos in French bonds pushed up global risk aversion, leading to $BTC being sold off; Middle East supply risks pushed oil prices higher, further suppressing risk appetite. The convergence of these three forces caused this bearish candle. Most people focus on "who is selling," but they overlook a more critical signal: 79,160 has broken below the psychological 80,000 level, with around 81,000 forming short-term resistance, and below 79,000 is the defense line bulls must hold. If lost, 78,000 is the next support level to watch. This is not a prediction but coordinates given by the structure. Remember in one sentence: the table is being shaken by everyone together, so you can't blame just one person for the spilled soup; positions are waited out, not guessed. $SOL is similarly constrained by shrinking risk appetite, as is $ETH$BTC Bitcoin hovered below 80,000 for a whole day. Do you think this is a buildup, or is no one daring to catch the fall?
Currently around 79,700, it swung 1,200 dollars in 24 hours, dropped 3% in a week, still more than 30% below last year's high. Trading volume increased by nearly half compared to the previous day, but the price barely moved. Honestly, I can't tell who's buying.
The news isn't very favorable: Strategy paused buying coins and switched to repurchasing its own stock, MARA was reported to have sold 1,000 coins, and there were large outflows from spot ETFs. However, some disagree; Galaxy Research says this bear market is over and now is the accumulation phase.
My own view: 80,000 is currently resistance, not support. The lows this week are between 79,200 and 79,400. Whether the close holds here is more important than whether it rises or not #本周将公布10月FOMC利率决议 I came across a tweet where the author first listed a bunch of benefits of buying US stocks with tokens: high capital efficiency, no CRS checks, direct connection to NASDAQ and NYSE, the world's top liquidity, ability to pledge for loans, access to spot leverage, and even use as contract margin.
Then he himself made three mistakes in a row, completely overturning all those reasons.
The last sentence was the truth: I am an employee of this exchange, and I am endorsing my own product.
I laughed for a long time after reading it. Nowadays, 90% of promoters pretend to be neutral, acting like helpful passersby. But he went straight and laid all his cards on the table.
What’s even more interesting is that the points he listed are indeed real needs for ordinary people. Buying US stocks with tokens saves the hassle of account opening thresholds and cross-border remittance procedures, not the risk. This tweet was seen by 649 people, but only 6 liked it, which shows the viewers aren’t fools.
I appreciate his honesty. But whether the product is reliable and whether the promoter is honest are two different things. Since he dares to admit he is an employee, we should instead ask: Are those stocks truly held in some account, or is it just a name on the list?
There’s another layer: tokenized stocks don’t trade on weekends, and can get stuck during volatile nights. This is determined by the product structure, not attitude.
Before placing an order, ask clearly who the custodian is, how many steps are needed for redemption, and who to contact if there’s a problem. Don’t just hand over your money because of one honest sentence. In the futures market, for the same commodity, changing the delivery standards does not necessarily mean liquidity can be directly transferred. When I look at stock tokenization, I also tend to first ask: with the same name, is the traded asset really the same kind of right?
According to Eleanor Terrett, IBM, Oracle, Intel, and IonQ oppose OKX and ICE's tokenization of their stocks under the US SEC's innovation exemption mechanism without consent, bringing the total number of opposing companies to 26.
My judgment is that this cools down the expectation that "stock on-chain can replicate the original market depth," but it does not mean tokenization has no value. This is my speculation: if the rights connection is unclear, ordinary users will find it difficult to judge whether pricing is reasonable; if the scope of qualified chains limits circulation, liquidity pools may also become fragmented. For friends who have also transitioned from traditional markets, would you verify the rights of stock tokens item by item, just like checking futures delivery terms? The November effect in the US stock market and the strongest half-year period after the midterm elections are indeed supported by solid historical data. Coupled with the year-end institutional portfolio adjustments and the momentum of pension fund inflows, there is indeed short-term sentiment expecting a rebound.
However, historical patterns can only serve as a reference and should not be taken rigidly.
What makes this year special is the extremely severe macro constraints, with financial conditions at historically tight levels. The high US Treasury yields firmly cap the valuation ceiling, and elevated oil prices limit the maneuvering space for monetary policy.
Additionally, the unresolved US-Iran geopolitical risks add significant uncertainty.
Therefore, one should neither completely ignore historical success rates nor blindly bet on a one-sided rally.
A reasonable strategy is to maintain a neutral position, keep enough cash to cope with potential geopolitical black swan events, and wait for the election results and clearer macro data before seeking right-side opportunities. On October 21, Interactive Brokers announced the launch of an autonomous trading feature: eligible clients can authorize connected AI to submit supported orders within a dedicated AI zone according to client-set conditions, with the autonomous mode requiring no per-order approval. The most critical question is how AI moves from "providing analysis" to "operating real accounts." When humans no longer confirm each order individually, how much capital is entrusted to it, where the permissions stop, and who is responsible for erroneous orders become the core issues to understand this service. Approval of trades shifts from per-order confirmation to prior authorization. Dividing AI participation in trading into three levels clarifies the changes. The first level is research recommendations. AI explains financial reports, organizes information, or offers judgments, outputting content that still requires subsequent decisions and actions before real orders. The second level is generating orders pending review. Interactive Brokers' existing AI Integration can generate trade instructions but requires client review and approval. AI assists in preparation, while clients retain the step of per-order scrutiny before submission. The third level is the newly added autonomous mode: after prior authorization by eligible clients, AI can submit supported orders according to client conditions, eliminating the need for approval on each trade. Authorization still exists but occurs earlier. This means that if AI misinterprets, deviations can move from analysis content into order execution. "What answers are generated" and "what orders are authorized for submission" thus become two matters requiring separate evaluation. The Interactive Brokers press release mentioned that AI can operate on over 75,000 listed stocks, options, and ET#美伊讨论霍尔木兹开放方案,油价回落 Who dares to short $BZ now? The recent Fed decisions, GDP, and PCE data might provide an opportunity to briefly push down crude oil prices, but it is difficult to directly drive it into a major bear market.
If the Washington speech leans hawkish and PCE inflation exceeds expectations, the dollar will strengthen, and crude oil will see a short-term pullback; but as long as the situation in the Strait of Hormuz does not ease, the pullback will be temporary, and after falling, it can easily rebound to the highs again.
Conversely, if the stance is dovish and rate cut expectations rise, the dollar weakens, and crude oil will have the momentum to continue rising. Many people see a wallet with "Trader" in its name going long and immediately think, "An experienced player has entered the market." Core Trader 19 this time went long on $PONS with 3x leverage, with a nominal value of about $35,500. I, on the other hand, am reluctant to take this as a strong bullish signal.
Looking at it from another angle, this monitoring can prove a long position was taken, but it cannot prove how much conviction was behind it. One reason is the lack of the principal as a denominator: the same position size representing 10% or 90% of the capital expresses completely different confidence. Another reason is that the full exposure is not visible: if there are offsetting positions elsewhere, then this long position might just be part of a portfolio. This is my speculation, not a known fact.
What I am most wary of is treating the wallet name as credentials and the transaction amount as confidence. To judge the strength of this bullish position, would you rather look at the wallet's total assets or positions in other directions? I welcome those who believe a single long position is enough to prove the point to debate.$SOL $DOGE $BNB Altcoin Health Report: Who's Faking Death, Who's Truly Down
We pulled out several popular coins for a checkup, and the results are quite interesting.
【SOL: The Split-Type Player】Current price $101, down 65% from the peak. The coin price is half-dead, but the ecosystem is very active: Alpenglow upgrade has reduced confirmation speed to 150 milliseconds, Samsung's 82 million phones will connect to its USDC transfers by the end of the month, and tokenized stocks of Apple and Nvidia are also on-chain. Fundamentals and stock price are moving separately; this type of coin bets on the day the "ecosystem delivers."
【DOGE: The Truly Down Player】$0.077, down 90% from the peak, shrunk 62% in a year. Elon Musk's ventures are flourishing across the board, except this one that was once loudly hyped is neglected. The life of a meme coin depends on new money; without new money, it can only lie dormant.
【BNB: The Ironman Player】$738, only down 5% this month, the most resilient in the market. No story behind it: the exchange earns fees daily, and buybacks and burns happen monthly. In a bear market, cash flow is the hardest narrative.
【XRP: The Old Hand】$1.28, still in the green this week. The old story of cross-border payments has been told for eight years, neither dead nor alive, but also not starving.
The pattern is already written on the charts: in this downturn, those with real income and use cases resist the fall, while those relying purely on narrative and hype die first. In the second half of the altcoin season, the survivors won’t be the loudest, but those with money in their pockets.

$BTC after breaking 81000, hovering around 80800, on-chain data is mixed: whales are distributing at 80000, but retail inflows hit a 6-month high, with retail investors taking over. Market makers have opened $126 million short positions in derivatives for hedging. The FOMC is at midnight tomorrow, with an 84.5% probability of no change; the key is whether Powell's press conference leans dovish or hawkish. If 80000 doesn't hold, look for 78000; dovish could push back to 82000.
$ENA USDe is backed by a basket of short-term US Treasuries generating yield. The day before yesterday, early trading on rate cut expectations pushed it up 8 points. It has been flat at 0.212 these past two days without further surge, indicating that chasing funds have paused for now. If tomorrow's decision truly signals a rate cut, it can bounce; if hawkish, those 8 points could be given back, and those who chased today might get a surprise tomorrow.
$ASTER has deployed perpetual contracts across several chains, with fees and market-making rebate pool rules set, but trading volume is only a few hundred thousand dollars. Robinhood profits because it has ready users; funds chase coins with interest rate stories. New chains without catalysts need an event to attract people.
$HYPE order book is built on a self-developed L1, with protocol fees flowing back to token holders. When ENA surged 8 points the day before yesterday, it didn't follow, indicating funds chose yield direction over on-chain exchanges. Watch 75 as the next observation point; avoid leverage on such coins before the decision.

#本周将公布10月FOMC利率决议 Last night $HYPE suddenly surged, breaking through $80 at one point. It turns out Hyperliquid has made new progress 😯
Kraken's parent company Payward plans to offer regulated perpetual contract trading services for U.S. customers on Hyperliquid through HIP-3.
This was actually announced back in September, and last night's update is Hyperliquid officially confirming the related arrangements.
I think this news is quite significant.
All along, Hyperliquid has mostly competed as a decentralized exchange, but this cooperation means it has the opportunity to provide underlying trading infrastructure to traditional financial institutions 🤨
Of course, regulatory approval is still needed, so there is some way to go before it truly launches.
After the HYPE spike, it quickly fell back; the market clearly hasn’t fully priced in this expectation.
But compared to short-term price, I’m more focused on whether Hyperliquid can truly make this path work:
After all, the growth potential of an exchange and that of a financial infrastructure system have different scopes for imagination.

#波动雷达:币种异动观察 #AWS computing power demand is strong, what are the highlights of Amazon's Q3 earnings report? To be honest, Wall Street's Q3 EPS consensus is around $2.01–$2.02. This $2.00 threshold is actually the lower bound of the consensus, not the ceiling.
The core issue is that Amazon's GAAP profit has never been "pure." Looking back at Q2, EPS soared to $5.75, which included over fifty billion in unrealized gains from investments like Anthropic; excluding non-operating income, the real core business EPS was about $1.95. Therefore, whether Q3 can surpass $2.00 largely depends on whether the investment book gives some credit. As long as non-operating income is slightly boosted, the reported EPS will pass; if it relies purely on the core business cleanly, it is easy to get stuck below $2.00 and fail.
Looking at the fundamentals, AWS is expected to grow 37%, and demand is indeed fierce, with nearly 500 billion in backlog orders. The current bottleneck is power and capacity. But with over 200 billion in capital expenditures spent throughout the year, depreciation's impact on profits is substantial.$ETH $BTC $SOL prices have all fallen across the board, but leveraged funds have not decreased; instead, they have increased, putting the key integer levels of the three major coins to the test simultaneously.
At midday, all three coins closed in the red. BTC fell back below the 80,000 mark again, while ETH and SOL repeatedly fluctuated near their critical integer support levels.
$BTC: The 80,000 level was gained and lost again, current price $79,721.7, 24-hour decline of 0.47%. Long-short ratio is 2.34 (4 hours ago it was 2.22), open interest is 32,681 coins, corresponding market value about $2.604 billion; recent liquidations include 796,000 long positions and only 15,000 short positions.
$ETH: Battling around the 2,300 level, current price $2,312.37, decline of 0.36%, briefly dipped below 2,300 during the session but recovered. Long-short ratio is 2.63, open interest 649,557 coins, market value about $1.501 billion; liquidations include 255,000 long positions and 202,000 short positions.
$SOL: The $100 defense line is the riskiest, current price $100.06, decline of 1.22%, the largest drop among the three, briefly breaking below 100 during the session. Long-short ratio is 3.11, the highest among the three; open interest 3,275,492 coins, market value about $328 million; liquidations include 1,033,000 long positions and 21,000 short positions.
Market summary: The market is declining while open interest is rising simultaneously, and the long-short ratios are all increasing. The lower the price falls, the more leveraged funds continue to enter and add positions. might not be for the reasons you think.
Moody's ranked 27 global risks in order,
and the crypto crash was named as one of the most likely to happen.
But most likely to happen doesn't mean most dangerous.
It mostly follows others down, not because of its own issues.
If things outside are fine, it won't fall inside;
if things outside go wrong, it can't be saved inside.
So don't always look for reasons within the crypto circle.
The Fed meeting is tomorrow, whether they raise rates is no surprise,
the key is to listen for one sentence: will they still say "inflation is a problem".
If they say yes, money keeps getting more expensive, don't rush to bottom-fish;
if they don't say it, then it's Bitcoin's turn to rebound. $BTC $ETH liquidation data tells an unconventional story: there are almost no longs left to liquidate
First, look at the most recent major cleanup. On October 22, during that drop, the entire network liquidated 458 million U in 24 hours, with 103,000 people forcibly closed out. Breaking down the details: longs accounted for 91%, in Bitcoin liquidations of 140 million U, 96.6% were long positions; in Ethereum liquidations of 93.12 million U, 91.6% were longs. The largest single position was a 11.78 million U BTC long on Binance, liquidated at $83,526—precisely wiped out just before dawn.
To translate: this drop wiped out all the "bottom-fishing with leverage" players. The harder the drop, the more leveraged bottom-fishing there was, and the more concentrated the liquidations.
Now look at last night’s anomaly: Bitcoin officially fell below 80,000, and according to previous patterns, breaking such a key level should have triggered hundreds of millions U in liquidations. The result? Silence, with volatility actually shrinking to an extreme low.
Why? Because the fuel is gone. From early October until now, long leverage has been continuously cleaned out through several rounds. Those still in the market either have low leverage or are holding spot positions passively. Without high-leverage longs to liquidate, the decline shifts from a "stampede" to a "slow, dull cut."
This is a typical signal of the second half after clearing: bottoms are never called out—they are liquidated until no one is left to liquidate, and only then is selling pressure truly exhausted. The only remaining variable is the Federal Reserve early Thursday morning; spot selling pressure can crash the market even without leverage. #Robinhood交易业务增长能否延续? Support side: Q2 fundamentals are very strong, with revenue up 32% year-over-year, net customer inflow of $22 billion, and user entry willingness being its biggest confidence; crypto and US stock dual-line businesses run together, able to capture the trading heat brought by market trends.
Risk points: growth is extremely dependent on market volatility. If the US stock and crypto markets remain flat during this period, user trading activity will decline, putting pressure on fee income; also, the incremental amount of new business is currently uncertain, which is the biggest unknown in this earnings report.
Market battle: HOOD and xHOOD move in sync, essentially betting on two things—whether user activity can be maintained and whether new business can deliver impressive growth. Whether growth can continue is not just about a single number; it requires looking at both customer fund inflows and trading MAU metrics. When the market is hot, it earns money from trading volume; when the market cools, growth can easily hit the brakes. 5-minute median slippage, estimated by order book, the $SOON cost difference mainly appears in large buy orders. Large orders are first estimated at the 100,000 level cost, not the 10,000 level. Is it a good buy to scoop up Circle at $80? Let me pour some cold water on that.
USDC issuer Circle (CRCL) has taken three hits in a week, with its stock price dropping to around 80. It looks like an opportunity, but let's clear the accounts first.
First hit: Mizuho cut the target price to $43, reasoning that AI financial assistants will divert users from USDC to insured, higher-yield bank accounts, potentially threatening 10 to 20% of reserve income.
Second hit: Visa and BlackRock led over 140 companies to launch a new stablecoin, OpenUSD. More subtly, Circle's biggest channel partner Coinbase is also involved, and their revenue-sharing agreement expires for renewal in August next year.
Third hit: Over the past 90 days, insiders sold more than $20 million with zero purchases.
The biggest problem is the business model: USDC circulation is 73.7 billion, doubling in a year, which looks impressive, but 95% of income relies on reserve interest, and nearly 60% of income must be shared with channels like Coinbase, resulting in a net margin of only 7%. Quarterly EPS has shrunk from $0.64 to $0.18, continuously beating expectations but earning less and less.
My judgment: Stablecoins are definitely a big trend, but the profitable one may not be Circle. Interest rate declines, revenue-sharing renewals, and regulatory bans on interest generation—these three big obstacles have yet to materialize. Don't rush to scoop up at 80; wait until the FOMC on October 28, the final regulatory terms, and Q3 earnings revenue-sharing data become clear. The biggest buyer of Bitcoin stopped buying this week, not purchasing a single coin, but instead spent $205 million to buy back its own STRC.
Many people panicked at first, thinking that old Sai couldn't hold on anymore. I don't think it's that dramatic.
STRC is the high-yield stock it issued, which recently once fell below par value. If this thing collapses, it will be very difficult for it to borrow money to buy coins in the future. Fixing this borrowing channel is more important than buying a few hundred more coins.
Also, while it took a break this week, Strive swept up over 6,000 Bitcoins in one go, so the buyers haven't stopped.
Bitcoin is now hovering around 79,000. Without old Sai supporting the bottom, it will indeed be a bit weak in the short term. Once STRC stabilizes at par value, it will only buy more aggressively in the next round.I see short positions on the stock index, and I usually first include them in the large capital risk budget: selling can mean either betting on a direction or providing protection for a portfolio. This time, the wallet Core Trader 100 (0x82f6bb…512ec) opened a new $SP500 short position with a nominal value of about $2.5164 million and 50x leverage.
My inclination is to treat this position as a clue to observe defensive demand rather than evidence that risk appetite has already weakened. The reason is straightforward: monitoring only shows this side of the position, so we can't see if it holds other long assets, meaning we can't even confirm a "net bearish" stance. I don't want to complete the full account for a single address.
If USD liquidity tightens and the willingness to hold risky assets declines, then demand for stock index hedging might increase, giving these short positions more macroeconomic explanatory power; if liquidity improves, then it might just be local protection. This is my speculation; a single position opening cannot prove the entire logic has occurred.
Also, 50x leverage means high sensitivity to price paths: roughly, a 1% adverse price move corresponds to about half the initial margin loss, and actual impact depends on margin arrangements and other factors. I prefer to wait for confirmation of overall risk appetite and am not in a hurry to label this position. When judging its macro background, are you currently most concerned about USD liquidity, interest rate expectations, or economic growth expectations? Why?As soon as the kitchen timer rings, SK hynix's pot of high-bandwidth memory broth has already reached the brim. The fourth-generation high-bandwidth memory is like a freshly sharpened blade, pressing against the throat of quarterly profits. On the 28th, the entire kitchen serves the dishes; the market doesn't care about the plating but first lifts the lid to smell three things: the output volume of memory chips, the menu price, and the gross margin. As demand for intelligent computing servers heats up, this broth base thickens from a clear soup to a rich stew; mass production advances like a strong flame reducing the sauce, and when the timing is right, a glossy layer of profit will form on the surface. But the broth fears cold water added midway—any misstep in shipment rhythm, pricing power, or yield can turn the record into a burnt edge. SK hynix's quarterly report is not a small stir-fry but the entire stove of the memory kitchen; to see if the fire is strong, first check if the mass production ramp-up of the fourth-generation high-bandwidth memory has made the cutting board resound, then see if memory shipments can maintain peak-level order fulfillment without dropping orders, and finally check if the menu price and gross margin can both hold their fresh flavor.
Apple's mapped targets are like the dessert counter next door, smelling the aroma from the same kitchen but not the same stove. Memory chips are the main course on the main stove, while Apple targets are the post-meal slices; heat conduction has a sequence: when the main stove is hot, the dessert counter warms up; when the main stove smokes, the dessert counter first tastes the bitterness of caramel. The two pots are not on the same fire line; their linkage is ventilation mixing flavors, not the same recipe. Whether Apple targets can catch the aroma overflowing from the computing kitchen depends on whether the main stove's orders are full and if gross margin is not bitten by costs; if the main stove doesn't serve the main course, the dessert, no matter how bright, is just a sugar shell.
The investment portfolio is more like a table of side dishes: mainstream coins are the main dish pressing down the table, altcoins are the seasoning, and leveraged contracts are the extra spicy chili peppers. Chili peppers add aroma, but dumping a whole handful into the soup will upset the stomach first. The key to SK hynix's quarterly report is not whether it smells good but whether this ladle of new broth—the fourth-generation high-bandwidth memory—can refresh the old pot bottom of the memory cycle; if it can, profits surging again to a record is like big bubbles rising in the pot; if not, shipments and pricing will be like reused cooking oil—smelling lively but tasting greasy. The leveraged spicy chili pepper is only for seasoning, not the main ingredient; too much altcoin seasoning makes the main dish taste off no matter how expensive it is.
The kitchen fears most when menu prices rise but output volume falls—that's called exquisite plating but dissipated pot aroma; it also fears when output volume surges but gross margin is bitten back by raw material costs—that's called a big plate with thin meat slices. SK hynix needs to prove that the new stove and old pot can both stay stable: the mass production ramp-up of the fourth-generation high-bandwidth memory is not just sprinkling chili powder to enhance flavor; it requires checking if the three flames of yield, delivery, and customer certification burn in the same direction. If Apple targets only follow the aroma without looking at the main stove's output rate, they risk mistaking dessert for the main course.
The sharpest blade on this table is the profit record: intelligent computing demand can heat the pot red, but the mass production yield and pricing power of high-bandwidth memory are the hands holding the knife. #SKhynixQ3HBM4Earnings I imagined a conversation: The platform says, "We'll arrange an on-chain avatar for your stock," and the company replies, "I haven't even passed a friend request, and you already created a fake account for me?" In the crypto world, permissionless is the norm, but when it comes to listed companies, suddenly there's the awkwardness of matchmaking without asking the parties involved. 😂
According to Eleanor Terrett's post, IBM, Oracle, Intel, and IonQ have also objected to OKX and ICE tokenizing their stocks without consent under the US SEC's innovation exemption mechanism, bringing the total number of opposing companies to 26. My judgment: this is a warning for the trust narrative around stock tokenization and shouldn't be dismissed as just a minor hiccup on the blockchain path.
What concerns me most are two points: big company names bring familiarity but don't automatically mean the company endorses the related product; the innovation exemption discusses regulatory space but can't be directly used to replace explanations of product rights. Mixing these two issues makes it easy for users to misread "I know this company" as "I understand this token."
So when I look at these products, I first check what rights the holders actually have and who fulfills those rights. If these explanations are vague, then in my view, the more public the disagreement between the issuer and the company, the higher the cost for users to understand the product. The technical steps saved might just be shifted onto reading comprehension.
Your turn to choose: on a stock token page, which should be most prominently displayed—"Is the company authorized" or "What specific rights do holders have"? Pick one and see if everyone is entering a technical exam or a language exam. BTC current price is about 79,999 USD, down 0.54% intraday. The intraday low touched 79,330, then was pulled back near 80,000. It looks like it "held," but the way it held was relying on the lower shadow, not on buying pressure pushing it up. The US spot Bitcoin ETF had a total outflow of 773 million USD on the 22nd and 23rd, Coinbase premium index has been negative for 33 consecutive days, and US buying has been withdrawing. The whole network had 154 million USD liquidations in 24 hours, with long positions accounting for 118 million USD. The price hasn't crashed because the shorts haven't exerted force yet. ETH current price is about 2,316 USD, slightly up 0.57%, but down 13.82% in a month and 43.78% in a year. The daily low was 2,293, the high 2,344, volatility is not small, but the technical indicators collectively signal a "strong sell." Ethereum ETF had a net outflow of 6,960 ETH in one day, 85,801 ETH outflow in seven days, valued close to 200 million USD. Support above 2,300 is maintained by ETFs withdrawing funds and whales transferring assets to exchanges. XRP current price is about 1.29 USD, sliding down from the high of 1.39 on the 21st, once dropping to 1.253 on the 24th. Interestingly, the capital flow: about 820,000 USD net outflow from exchanges in the past 12 hours, spot inflow of 53.85 million and outflow of 54.67 million. 1.278 is the 200-day moving average, price barely When opening the chest under the shadowless lamp, the first thing we look for is not the lesion, but the hemodynamic baseline—SpaceX's approximately $40 billion GPU and data center equipment leasing financing commitment is like a massive bypass transplant for the AI circulatory system. The Apollo entity provides the vascular access, with implantation completed in the first half of 2027 and the incision closed by the end of the year. I've heard Musk's words many times: AI cloud companies facing tightened credit windows and lacking other income sources will fail or merge—this is a typical preoperative talk, telling families which myocardium is already irreversibly necrotic.
Starlink and launch revenue are the residual pump function of the autologous heart, able to sustain the extracorporeal circulation of this surgery, but the real perioperative risk does not lie in the letter of commitment itself. GPU delivery is graft survival, financing cost is the immunosuppressant dosage, and computing power income is postoperative cardiac output—if any of these three vessels embolize, the $4 billion graft will become a massive thrombotic burden. The linkage with the US stock token XNFLX? That is a peripheral perfusion indicator; when central venous pressure rises, it will only cyanose earlier.
What I want to see is whether the credit spread coronary artery has calcification, not to worry about the ventricular premature beats of the anxiety-inducing target price. If AI cloud companies lack collateral circulation compensation, a single-ventricle circulation cannot survive the first heartbeat. The perfusion pressure of cash flow is declining, the vascular resistance of financing cost is rising, and the myocardial contractility on the income side has yet to be proven—the prognosis of this surgery is not on the blood pressure monitor on the news front page, but in the pathological slices of GPU delivery orders and leasing contracts. Every fluctuation on the monitor is the myocardium making choices for us. #spacex40bgpudealagreedAn 18-point revenue gap is like a torn king's wing on a chessboard. Coinbase can no longer just patch a pawn on the side to get through; it must recalculate the defensive line at the midgame transition point. After the move on October 29 post-market, the market is not focused on a single isolated piece but on the entire pawn chain: can spot revenue still transform from a weak piece into a passed pawn? Can the Deribit integration reposition the rook from the rear wing to the center? Can derivatives and USDC-related business complete their promotion? Subscription and service revenue in Q2 was $555 million, like a stable pawn chain not yet breached, but stability does not equal offense; if spot trading revenue continues to be suppressed into a lagging piece, derivatives synergy is just sacrificing a piece to gain tempo, unable to truly check the king.
Spot is the central square on the board; once lost, all pieces get compressed. The value of Deribit integration is not just an additional tactical combination in the short term but weaving spot, contracts, clearing, and liquidity into a three-dimensional offensive coordinated by the rook and bishop; however, integration naturally brings friction, and if synergy revenue cannot outpace fees and customer acquisition costs, this move is just jumping the knight to the sidelines—seemingly safe but actually ceding initiative. USDC-related business is more like a promotion channel in the endgame: missing any of interest rates, balances, or scenario penetration, the passed pawn will be targeted by the opponent's king. The linkage with $xORCL is not an independent small board; it ties US stock risk appetite, crypto beta, and token narratives on the same timeline; once the main board is pressured by CryptoEarningsPressure, the linked target struggles to independently trigger forced promotions.
True masters look three moves ahead: whether spot trading volume elasticity recovers, whether Deribit synergy can raise marginal gross profit, and whether USDC balances and interest rate environment can push the pawn chain to promotion squares. If spot does not recover, derivatives and USDC at best sacrifice pieces to seize initiative, still insufficient to corner the king. The worst fear on earnings night is not poor numbers but losing the rhythm to the opponent; once initiative is lost, every subsequent move feels like solving a checkmate puzzle. #coinbaseq3deribitimpactThe most vulnerable link has been exposed first: this weekend's move is not a shakeout, but a defense line breach. Are the long positions you hold waiting for a rebound, or waiting for an exit? I was watching the market on Saturday night; BTC slid all the way down to 79332, and the round number resistance at 80000 was pierced as if it were made of paper. The only relatively effective support zone in recent weeks has been 79000–80000, and now the price is hugging the lower boundary. If the daily candle closes below 79000, 78000 will be directly exposed in sight. More importantly, the rhythm: before reclaiming 82000, every time it looks up, I prefer to see it as an escape window rather than a reversal starting point. ✨ ETH concerns me even more. The price dropped below 2300, currently around 2321, having fallen from 2526 continuously, with moving averages already aligned downward. The real pain is not the candlesticks, but the money: the spot ETF saw a net outflow of 221 million USD this week, with a cumulative outflow of 1.18 billion USD in October, marking the fourth consecutive week of net outflows. Institutions are voting with their feet, which is more honest than any trading call. 2280 is the previous low; if effectively broken, the space down to 2150 opens up. Data snapshot, first clarify the structure: - BTC weekend low 79332, core defense zone 79000–80000 - ETH current price about 2321, previous low 2280, reference below 2150 - 24-hour total long liquidation 82.01 million USD, short liquidation only 36.7 million, ratio exceeds Wow, the NBA officially designated Kalshi and Polymarket as its preferred prediction market exchanges. Can we understand this as the valuation of prediction markets shifting from a bc platform model (revenue = rake × trading volume) to a licensing business model (revenue = exclusive data × media distribution)? After all, obtaining the league's authorization means securing exclusive assets. Although I still don't think Polymarket will issue tokens, so retail investors can't directly benefit, the real value of this kind of partnership isn't in trading volume but in bringing prediction markets out of the gray area and into the sports business ecosystem. This legitimacy endorsement will undoubtedly accelerate the legislative process at the state level in the US.#SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? Don't blindly bet on HBM4! SK Hynix's earnings report isn't that easy to gamble on.
On October 28, SK Hynix's Q3 earnings report will be released. The community is overwhelmingly focused on HBM4 and AI computing power demand, all assuming the storage cycle is heading straight into a strong bull market.
But seasoned players in the storage sector know that Samsung and Micron are simultaneously ramping up HBM production capacity aggressively.
The benefits are visible, but the risk of capacity oversupply is also on the table, and premiums can be diluted just as easily.
Over the years in the storage industry, the biggest pitfall has been: during price hikes, production expands wildly, and when supply overflows, the market turns sharply.
Sentiment in the computing power chain is contagious; if earnings beat expectations, storage stocks surge accordingly; but if HBM shipments fall short, this wave of optimism can quickly reverse.
AI is a bonus, not a guaranteed shield for profit; the cyclical rules have never changed.
Do you think this earnings report can sustain the momentum for the HBM market? BTC is still below 80,000, but UNI has risen about 3%! BTC hasn't stabilized, and DeFi is starting to fight back? There are two pieces of news this time, but they shouldn't both be interpreted as "institutions accumulating."
First, look at $BTC, quoted at 79,826, up 0.29% in 24 hours. The price has turned positive, but it is still below 80,000. Rising and reclaiming lost ground are not the same thing.
Next, look at $ETH, quoted at 2,315, up 0.50% in 24 hours. It is slightly stronger than BTC in this window, but just based on the gains of these two, it’s still unclear if funds are shifting to DeFi.
Finally, look at $UNI, up about 3%, and the news behind it is worth breaking down.
On October 22, Uniswap launched Aggregator Hooks, integrating external liquidity. The protocol fees generated from related transactions help with UNI burn.
On the other hand, CME confirmed on October 20 that UNI futures have started trading. But futures can also be used for hedging, so this cannot be directly interpreted as institutions being bullish.
These two pieces of news involve one protocol business and one trading tool addition. My focus is on how much protocol fee and burn actual trading can bring, not how lively the announcements are.
More worth being cautious about than missing a bullish candle is reading "business progress" directly as "the coin price will keep rising."
#Anthropic正式申请IPO,或创上市估值纪录 First, to pour some cold water: just because someone has a heavy short position doesn't mean a decline has already been granted a free pass. Monitoring shows that the Core Trader 100 wallet 0x82f6bb…512ec has opened a short on the SP500 with 50x leverage, with a nominal value of about $2,516,400. Although I usually start by looking at bearish logic, what makes me cautious about this trade is whether the short seller can withstand the reverse volatility, rather than rushing to treat it as bearish evidence.
I am reluctant to strengthen the bearish judgment based on this for two reasons. First, the nominal position reflects risk exposure but does not prove the probability of the judgment being correct; just looking at this monitoring, we don't know if it is a hedge for other positions. Second, 50x leverage leaves very little room for error: roughly calculated by initial leverage, a price increase of about 2% corresponds to losses close to the initial margin, and the actual liquidation point depends on the account margin and maintenance margin requirements. My guess is that if the price rises and similar high-leverage shorts are forced to cover, the most uncomfortable will be those who chase the large order as a signal.
Of course, this short position could also be right. If the price continues to decline and new information supports the bearish logic, rather than just a few more short orders appearing, I will increase my recognition of the bearish direction. The result is not out yet; I will first watch how this position adjusts to reverse volatility and not treat the bet amount as the weight of judgment. The two-day moving average death cross of Bitcoin hasn't broken, and the daily chart being oversold is normal; don't take it as a reversal signal. Bottom-fishing at this time is like catching a falling knife in a downtrend.
At the end of the month, the Federal Reserve will hold its policy meeting; in early November, the U.S. midterm elections will take place; Trump is still shouting about attacking Iran. With these three powder kegs packed together, volatility in the next half month is inevitable. Flash spikes mostly happen within minutes before and after data releases.
The Strait of Hormuz is blocked, inflation continues to rise, and the Fed can only tighten.
My choice is not to add positions before the election, keep my position under 30%, set stop losses properly, and wait for the results before making moves.Have you ever encountered those coins that stubbornly resist falling when the market crashes, making you think they're strong, only for them to suddenly perform a high-altitude plunge? That's the most frustrating kind of catch-up drop!
After reading the OKX Planet interview post by @记得止损, this guy's shorting strategy on altcoins is worth learning from. Combining his three iron rules (large market cap, overbought, marginalized), let's discuss the fatal signals I watch for when judging altcoins weakening.
1. Resistant to falling but not rising
When the market crashes violently, it moves sideways. You might think there's a strong holder defending it? Wrong, that's just poor liquidity; the weak holders haven't exited yet. Once the market stabilizes and rebounds slightly, it can't even make a splash. Basically, the main players are quietly selling off, ready to drop a big bearish candle anytime.
2. Positive news or unlocking imminent, but price remains stubborn
Like @记得止损 used ZRO as an example—large unlocking is coming soon, yet instead of falling, it crazily pumps and releases positive news. When things are abnormal, there's always a catch. This is testing retail investors' bottom lines, tricking them into buying. Don't get caught up at these times; it's often the best high-altitude shorting opportunity.
3. Extremely crowded long-short ratio
The market looks lifeless, but data shows retail investors are stubbornly holding long positions with heavy leverage, making it impossible to pump. The main players won't lift the price until they completely wash out these high-leverage holders.
To sum up, in this low-volume market, holding spot positions stubbornly is like being cut with a blunt knife. Choose altcoins with large market caps, previously overbought, and no capital support. Watch for the weakening signals above to short at high altitude; that's where the risk-reward ratio makes sense.
#交易之声:你的经验值得被听到 All fell, but leverage keeps increasing — three key integer levels are simultaneously tested.
At midday, all three coins are in the red, BTC fell back below 80,000, ETH and SOL are grinding near their integer levels.
$BTC: The 80,000 level is repeatedly gained and lost. Current price is $79,721.7, down 0.47% in 24 hours, long-short ratio 2.34 (2.22 four hours ago), open interest 32,681 contracts, about $2.604 billion; nearly 100 liquidation orders with longs at 796,000 and shorts at 15,000.
$ETH: Tug-of-war around 2300. Current price $2,312.37, down 0.36%, briefly dipped below 2300 during the session then pulled back; long-short ratio 2.63, open interest 649,557 contracts, about $1.501 billion; liquidations with longs at 255,000 and shorts at 202,000.
$SOL: $100 is the most dangerous level. Current price $100.06, down 1.22%, largest drop among the three coins, briefly fell below 100 during the session; long-short ratio 3.11, highest among the three; open interest 3,275,492 contracts, about $328 million; liquidations with longs at 1,033,000 and shorts at 21,000.
Summary: Prices all fell, open interest all rose, long-short ratios all increased — leverage didn’t flee but actually increased during the drop. With the FOMC decision imminent, just taking note without taking sides. This is only a market record and does not constitute investment advice.
#本周将公布10月FOMC利率决议 Last night BTC dropped below 80,000, and the group chat was full of people crying and panicking. I guess many pressed the sell button out of fear. Early this morning, after checking ETF fund flows, I found it very interesting that the Wall Street big players collectively played a disappearing act in this scenario!
$BTC ETF fund flow was actually zero yesterday, you read that right—both inflows and outflows were zero. A few days ago, BlackRock and Fidelity were still aggressively dumping (on the 23rd, 16.94 million ran out), but now at the 80,000 mark, these big players are holding their positions, indicating institutions are also waiting and watching, neither bulls nor bears daring to shoot first, all waiting for direction.
Looking at $ETH, it was the only one with inflows. While everyone else was hesitant, Fidelity quietly bought 69.14 million worth, forcefully turning the total market into a net inflow. They were dumping just the day before yesterday, but now at the 2,300 level, institutions clearly think "the price has dropped enough to be worth it," starting to build positions on the left side. This might be the most positive signal in today's market.
Lastly, $SOL looks a bit grim, still seeing outflows. Yesterday net outflow was 80,900, with Bitwise and Grayscale both exiting. Compared to $ETH’s institutional bottom-fishing, $SOL’s funding situation remains under pressure, and the selling pressure in the spot market hasn’t fully ended yet.
In summary: big money is extremely picky right now. BTC is stagnant, $SOL is being abandoned, and only $ETH is getting a sweet treat. Don’t just stare at the candlesticks guessing blindly; where the money goes is where we should look. Until BTC makes a move, I’ll stick to being out of the market and just watch the show When showing newcomers the news, I often remind them: first distinguish between "how much money there is" and "where the money is going." Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe released a ZIP draft proposing to redirect the 8% block subsidy automatically received by ZCG to NSM; ZCG currently holds about 91,452.98 $ZEC, valued at approximately $125 million.
📌 This perfectly illustrates stock and flow: the existing reserve is the water tank, and the ongoing subsidy is the inflow pipe. Using the example numbers, stopping the 8% subsidy inflow does not mean the existing 91,452.98 coins are taken away; redirecting the subsidy also should not be directly understood as reducing coin issuance.
My judgment is that this is more like a fund allocation adjustment and should not be directly labeled as a negative price factor: the reserve provides a buffer, the subsidy destination affects subsequent resource allocation, and the draft is not yet finalized. Newcomers often mistake "stopping funding inflow" as "immediate lack of money." Can you distinguish the difference between this 8% redirection and a reduction in issuance? If you don’t understand any step, leave a comment and let's discuss.$ZEC
Looking back at this year's review, the tokens that outperformed Bitcoin can be counted on three types: AI, privacy, and one miscellaneous. ZEC is now at 1222, with a 24-hour high reaching 1268; the privacy sector is really holding strong.
Bitcoin has been hovering below 80,000 these days, with a low of 79,455. ZEC didn't crash along, staying steady above 1200. I recently told a friend that privacy coins have the highest policy risk, often getting delisted by exchanges, which is a bit painful.
But I don't plan to chase at this level. After such a long sideways movement at a high level, chasing in and then facing a pullback would be tough for me. I'll wait for a dip before considering, anyway the market still has a long way to go.
#本周将公布10月FOMC利率决议 Seeing the ecological funding money being redirected made my heart skip a beat 😰 Zcash co-founder Sean Bowe released a ZIP draft proposing to redirect the original 8% block subsidy automatically allocated to ZCG to NSM. The draft states that ZCG holds about 91,452.98 ZEC, worth approximately $125 million, enough to continue supporting related activities.
I feel this is more like a long-term account that needs to be settled clearly, and it’s not something to be taken as a positive signal right now. Having sufficient reserves allows room for adjustments, but the reserve value in USD will fluctuate with the coin price; if funding gradually depends on consuming reserves, then the spending pace becomes even more important. This is also why I won’t impulsively react just by seeing the word “sustainable.”
I only use spare money and admit I’m afraid of volatility. To be cautious, I will first watch the follow-up discussions on the draft, the specific arrangements of NSM, and ZCG’s fund usage plans. Once these become clearer, I will adjust my judgment accordingly. Good morning brothers! Last night BTC fell below 80,000, and the group chat was full of people crying and panicking. #本周将公布10月FOMC利率决议 $MSFT is heavily investing in AI while simultaneously offering voluntary severance packages to 60,000 employees.
These 60,000 people represent about 27% of the company's total workforce. This means they can choose to leave with compensation, but how many will accept is still unknown. This is already Microsoft's second voluntary departure plan this year. Last year, the company also announced layoffs of about 15,000 employees.
Therefore, the impact of AI on employment may not only occur after it actually takes over specific jobs; it could also be reflected earlier through corporate budget allocations.
As more funds flow into chips and data centers, companies may also reassess which positions are worth continued investment and where personnel needs can be reduced.
Thus, to understand how AI affects work, besides seeing what new skills it has learned, we also need to observe where companies start spending money because of AI. $BTC $ETH On-chain data doesn't lie: BTC whales are quietly buying, while ETH is caught in internal conflict
The drop to 80,000 clearly reveals the bottom cards on-chain, showing two completely different scripts for the two coins.
For BTC, it's an open accumulation:
1. The number of whale addresses holding over 1,000 coins has returned to 2,044, totaling 7.17 million coins, accounting for 35.8% of circulating supply, a new high since mid-March;
2. Medium to large holders with 10 to 10,000 coins have accumulated nearly 90,000 coins in one month;
3. Public company Strive spent $511 million last week to buy 6,182 coins at an average price of 82,732, buying more as the price falls.
Retail investors are doing the opposite: small addresses holding less than 1 coin have dropped to a one-year low, Binance retail deposit volume doubled to $10.7 billion waiting to sell, while whale deposits decreased by 36%. Large holders are taking over, retail investors are selling at a loss, a classic script.
ETH, however, is a battle between bulls and bears:
The stubborn bull BitMine holds 6.05 million coins at a cost of 3,331, with an unrealized loss of $6.1 billion but is still adding positions; meanwhile, the Ethereum Foundation just sold 2,785 coins for stablecoins yesterday, and an ancient whale from the ICO era with a cost basis of $0.31 also transferred 1,500 coins to exchanges; more dangerously, a $270 million ETH long position nearly liquidated, urgently adding 9.21 million in margin at midnight, with a liquidation price around 2,181.
Conclusion: BTC shows a bottom accumulation structure, but don't rush before the FOMC on October 28 and the midterm elections on November 3; ETH's leveraged longs are too crowded, with a chain liquidation risk around 2,181, so make sure to keep enough margin when going long. I view this type of position opening as something to first place within the framework of liquidity and overall risk appetite: the willingness of funds to bear higher volatility and the market's ability to continuously absorb it are two different things. This time, Core Trader 19 opened or added a long position on $PUMP using 10x leverage, with a nominal position of about $215,700.
My judgment is that this position can be regarded as an observation point for risk appetite, but it cannot yet be taken as evidence that funds have fully shifted to an offensive stance. Nominal exposure does not equal the actual principal invested; leverage amplifies the bullish volume. Looking only at the position amount can easily lead to interpreting a single trade as the market's overall attitude.
If liquidity improves subsequently and absorbing funds continue to appear, then the willingness to go long on such high-volatility assets may spread into a broader recovery of risk appetite. This is my speculation. Conversely, if there is only leverage demand without sustained buying, the more aggressive the position, the more sensitive it is to reverse volatility; a single wallet may also have other hedges, so looking at this one trade alone cannot confirm the full intent.
Therefore, I currently tend to understand it as a localized offensive rather than a macro shift. I will continue to watch whether the absorption can be sustained and am not in a hurry to label this long position as "smart money leading the way."#HOODQ3TradingGrowth robinhood chain, robinhood's blockchain where users trade stock tokens, saw dex volume fall 30% to $6.35b in october 6-12. but defi tvl rose to $1.058b from september 30 to october 12, and morpho, a lending protocol, held $486.8m of open loans there. so lending is now a large use, not only trading. that week, borrowers paid about $417k in interest and liquidation bonuses on morpho, but morpho recorded zero protocol revenueBinance has brought stocks into the futures market.
On October 26, within a single day, Binance launched four perpetual contracts at four different times: at 09:00 EIDOUSDT, at 09:05 EQTUSDT, at 09:10 STMUSDT, and at 09:15 ABBVUSDT, all settled in USDT with up to 20x leverage.
The underlying assets are not cryptocurrencies but four real entities: iShares MSCI Indonesia ETF, American natural gas company EQT, chip manufacturer STMicroelectronics, and pharmaceutical giant AbbVie.
The pace of launching one contract every five minutes indicates this is not a trial but a production line. Previously, launching an altcoin required a week of warm-up; now, contracts for traditional assets can be queued and released wholesale.
This means two things for traders. First, trading hours are extended, allowing bets on these assets even after the U.S. stock market closes. Second, 20x leverage combined with the inherent volatility of stocks means a single earnings call can wipe out a position.
An unavoidable issue is pricing. When the U.S. stock market is closed, prices rely on market maker quotes, and if liquidity is insufficient, slippage can be severe.
I am more focused on STM and ABBV contracts; semiconductors and pharmaceuticals have been the most volatile sectors in the U.S. stock market this year. With these contracts launched, crypto accounts can directly express views on these two sectors for the first time, without needing a U.S. stock account or currency exchange.#US-Iran Discuss Hormuz Strait Opening Plan, Oil Prices Retreat
"Hormuz Negotiations: International Crude Oil Retraces Premium"
As soon as news broke about the US and Iran holding closed-door talks on a plan to open the Strait of Hormuz, the crude oil market immediately reacted. Brent and WTI crude oil prices intraday directly gave back the gains from the past two days.
Twenty million barrels of crude oil pass through the Strait of Hormuz daily, and war risk premiums and freight rates for oil tankers are extremely sensitive to any disturbances. As long as a navigation security framework can be agreed upon, the geopolitical premium stuck in the throat will be quickly squeezed out.
