"Open interest drops to 284.1 billion, a 12-month low, but longs remain expensive"
Today, no sector in the entire market rose, the first time in a long while.
Let's start with the ledger: total open interest in crypto assets fell to $284.1 billion, hitting a 12-month low. Sector-wise: AI -4.71%, DeFi -3.71%, Layer2 -3.20%, Layer1 -2.66%, Meme -2.64%, PayFi -2.07%, CeFi -2.01%, with OKB down 3.92%. Sector indices: ssiGameFi -7.38%, ssiRWA -4.74%, ssiDeFi -4.21%. Bitcoin dipped below 77,000 intraday, closing at 76,640, a one-month low; ETH also fell below 2,300.
"Open interest hitting a 12-month low" is today's most valuable figure. It means the leverage built up over the past year has basically been cleared. On November 1, BTC liquidations totaled $22.1 million in a single day, only 0.22 times the 30-day average—there's little left to liquidate.
But here lies a contradiction and the key focus today: leverage has been cleared, yet the cost of holding positions hasn't dropped. Over the past week, BTC perpetual funding rates averaged about 0.93 basis points daily, ranking high in the 90-day range, 38% higher than the previous week; current rates remain at +0.0100%, with longs still paying shorts.
In two sentences: chips have been cleared out, but those remaining are still paying to "go long." This is not a healthy bottom formation, more like a stubborn sideways consolidation. The aftermath of last week's exchange security incident is not over—the withdrawals just resumed, and funds are still flowing out net.
External markets are also retreating: oil prices rebounded near 105, gold fell from 3,940, silver dropped below 50. Today is the US midterm election; the CLARITY Act remains stuck in Congress, and regulatory answers will only start to emerge tonight. A detail worth noting: within the AI sector, AKE dropped 33.19%, while PIEVERSE rose 5.58%, SOSO up 4.90%—a 38-point divergence within the same sector, indicating it's not about sectors now, but individual assets.
Key levels: resistance at 77,600, 78,500; support at 76,500, 75,250.
My judgment: today's direction is not determined by the election results themselves, but by the difference between the election results and market expectations. Polymarket previously priced Democrats winning both chambers at 63%—expectations were too full, and fully priced expectations are most prone to reversal.
Discussion: leverage cleared, funding rates still high—is this a bottom signal or is there another drop?
I lean toward the latter. A classic bottom feature is funding rates turning negative first—longs paying enough and willing to concede, then the market is truly cleared. Funding rates are still positive, indicating some are still holding hard, and those holders are the fuel for the next move.
Poll: which do you focus on more—A. When funding rates turn negative; B. Whether total open interest stops falling and rebounds; C. The difference between election results and expectations; D. Which way the AI sector divergence leans.
I choose A. It's the only bottom indicator you don't have to guess and can see daily.
Not investment advice, risk on you. #MarketAnalysis $BTC $OKB$HOOD Does increased volatility boost Robinhood's trading revenue? Macro events and elections raise market volatility, and active trading may increase revenue, but asset shrinkage among clients can weaken net inflows and risk tolerance. If trading frequency, subscriptions, and client assets remain stable simultaneously, the platform's cyclical resilience is stronger. The downside is that volatility mainly comes from declines; if net inflows turn negative and active clients decrease, revenue elasticity will reverse. Distinguishing between directional declines and two-way trading activity, client retention is more important than single-week trading peaks. When further confirming, I will separate market expectations, revenue realization, and cash flow quality; at least two of these must remain aligned over multiple subsequent reporting periods before adjusting the medium-term outlook. If there is only a one-time event or single-quarter volatility, valuation recovery still needs verification.$BTC $BTC BTC is still testing downward!!!
This recent move is a bit strange! Oil prices have dropped so much, yet the Nasdaq is still crashing down!!
Tonight, the US midterm elections begin voting
Tomorrow morning, AMD's earnings report will test semiconductor demand again. These two events happening one after another make market sentiment easily shaken.
More importantly, BTC is not idle either; it is still testing downward now.
Many people want to call a reversal as soon as they see a rebound, but I advise you to keep your hands in your pockets first.
Yesterday it tried to reach 79,000 but was rejected, then turned to continue down.
Last night, the Iran negotiation news caused a slight pull-up, but negotiation and reaching an agreement are two different things, don't mistake news for a reversal.
The big direction of BTC still follows the US stock market down, but it is relatively strong for now; last week's low of 76,200 has not been taken out yet.
Today I am focusing on one thing: whether 76,270 will be swept first; after that, we will see if 75,000 can hold.
There is a small rebound on the hourly level, but the resistance between 77,800-78,800 is still pressing down, the bias to fall remains unchanged.
Don't chase the middle positions, wait for it to show its own weakness. Here's a controversial opinion: knowing how to take profits is more important than knowing how to cut losses! Especially when it comes to mainstream $BTC and $ETH.
The simplest reason is this: take going long on Bitcoin as an example, many will tell you to set stop losses in advance at price-dense trading zones to prevent black swan liquidation events. Saying that is irresponsible nonsense.
I dare say, once $BTC moves, even if you're long, you will definitely get stopped out early. The reason is that in crypto, the frequency of liquidity sweeps up and down is extremely high!
So the correct stop loss must be set after entering the position, before special events, and then stop loss after spikes following the event. If you don't want to monitor the market constantly, leaving some room below the stop loss is definitely more reasonable than placing it in dense trading zones.
But consider this: if you are using high leverage, that small price difference could be the difference between liquidation and not. In that case, what you need is dynamic stop loss and trailing stop loss; simply placing a fixed stop loss is very unreasonable. If you are already heavily invested in short-term trades, you must learn dynamic stop loss!
Taking profits is even more important. For taking profits, I actually recommend placing them in dense trading zones. The logic is the same—crypto sweeps liquidity back and forth. If you set your take profit a bit too high, you might miss the only chance to take profits!
There's not much to say about taking profits. As long as you are trading mainstream Bitcoin, as long as you are not greedy, you will definitely find the right take profit points. Nothing else matters!
#美国中期选举在即,哪些结果值得关注? BTC is stuck at 76,000, while ETFs have seen nearly 400 million outflows
Bitcoin is steady around 76,900 today, compared to the lowest 76,300 in the past two days, a rebound of less than 1%. But the US spot ETF has had nearly 800 million in net outflows for two consecutive days, Binance hackers caused users to withdraw about 4.7 billion, and with the US midterm election voting today, the market is not relaxed.
Right now, the 76,000 level is very critical; it is close to the average cost of short-term holders. If it holds, the upside targets are 80,000 and 82,000; if it breaks, the downside 73,000-74,000 will be tested. The problem is that many people now mistake "not yet broken" as "already bottomed out," which is the biggest trap at the moment.
Historically, Bitcoin often weakens first in midterm election years; the real direction usually becomes clear only after the results are clear and funds are repriced. Voting is today, results come tomorrow, so volatility will naturally increase. On top of that, trust repair after the Binance incident is still ongoing, and ETF funds continue to flow out. Using high leverage to bet on "election night must rise" or "must break" at this stage is very likely to be wiped out both ways.
What really matters is not intraday spikes but whether the daily close can hold above 76,000, and whether funds flow back into ETFs after the election or continue to withdraw. On the macro side, the Fed just held rates steady, inflation is not fully down yet, and there is another meeting at the end of the year; all these will affect risk appetite.
At this level, it’s better to wait and see rather than rush to add leverage to catch a "certain bottom."
What do you think? After the election results come out, will Bitcoin break below 76,000 first or return to 80,000 first?

This market situation is very abnormal.
It's not a positive breakthrough at all; the underlying support has been completely drained.
Moreover, after all the work on X Layer, the Gas fees are not flowing back to the token at all, causing a direct break in the underlying value capture.
The compliance-related positive news has been fully priced in, and without long-term buying support, this kind of low-volume bearish decline is the most dangerous—it only takes a bit of selling pressure to break the support level.

👇1. Apple's earnings report is here: Data blew past expectations, but the stock price bowed down first? How will AAPL perform on its first full trading day?
Many think "better-than-expected earnings = price rise."
Apple proved them wrong last night:
Revenue 114.48 billion (expected 113.4 billion)
EPS 2.10 (expected 1.99)
iPhone YoY +17.5%, Mac +24%
But after-hours first surged, then dropped 3%, now struggling around 338
Three words: expectation gap
Greater China down 1 billion USD, service growth slowed, storage costs ate into gross margin, holiday season guidance "good but not spectacular."
Historical odds are cold:
In the past 5 years, Apple had 19 earnings reports, only rose on the first day 9 times
In the past 3 years, 12 reports, only rose 4 times (33%)
Meaning the first day after earnings is usually more down than up
So will it rise today (the first full trading day)?
My judgment (70% confidence):
Open lower to test 335–334 support → short covering pullback → close with small bearish candle/doji most likely
A true bullish reversal requires BTC and Nasdaq futures to stabilize overnight
Translated from a crypto perspective:
AAPL perpetual = high volatility altcoin, earnings are a "bullish sell-off" whale move
Current position looks like a low-volume shakeout after breaking support, don't chase shorts, don't bet on a bullish candle
If 334 holds, there will be a rebound; if 334 breaks, look down to 326

$SNDK /USDT shows a typical daily-level one-sided downtrend.
📉 The price has been steadily declining from the high of 1806, forming a clear bearish structure of "lower highs and lower lows." The current quote is 1128.7, with a slight technical rebound (closing positive) after recently bottoming at 1069.2. However, overall it remains suppressed by the moving average system, in a weak bottoming phase.
📌 Strong support: 1069.2 (recent low); breaking below this will open downside space.
First resistance: the 1200 round number and previous dense trading area.
📍 Strong resistance: 1400 (previous rebound high). The current price is in an oversold rebound zone; before breaking 1200, it is considered a downward consolidation.
📊 "Goldman Sachs: Hedge funds have sold AI stocks for five consecutive days," which creates macro sentiment pressure on assets with AI or tech attributes (such as SNDK), leading to short-term bearish capital flow.
🈳️ Blindly bottom-fishing to "catch a falling knife" is not recommended. You can wait to lightly short when the rebound is resisted around 1200-1250; or wait for a daily volume surge and stabilization with a break above 1200 before considering a right-side long position.
🔒 If holding short positions, set 1069 as a dynamic take-profit level; if holding trapped long positions, reduce holdings on rebounds above 1200, strictly set 1069 as a stop-loss line to guard against downside breakout risk.
🔎 The current major trend is bearish; strictly control position size and use stop-losses in operations. (Trading involves risks; the above does not constitute investment advice)#Strategy repurchase scale is three times the amount of coins bought, treasury strategy shifts?
🔥The treasury strategy is indeed changing, brothers. Strategy did something quite interesting last week: it only bought 811 BTC (spending 65.5 million USD), but spent 208.2 million USD to repurchase STRC preferred shares, with the repurchase scale being three times the amount spent on buying coins. More importantly, the 65.5 million USD used to buy coins was raised by selling MSTR stock, not from its own cash.
Why suddenly "heavy on repurchase, light on buying coins"? STRC has a 12% annual interest rate, and its price once fell below the 100 USD par value. The repurchase is basically to maintain credit and reduce future dividend pressure. It's not that Saylor doesn't love the coins anymore, but the financing cost is too high; they need to fix the balance sheet first before they can talk about the next round of offense.
Compared to Metaplanet next door, which repaid debt early to free up money to keep buying coins, and Strive's zero-dilution increase in holdings, the paths of several treasury companies have clearly diverged: whoever has lower costs and higher coin holdings per share will be the one to survive in the end. With Strategy's current defense, do you think they are scared or clear-headed?🤔 $BTC #Strategy repurchase scale is three times the amount of coins bought, is the treasury strategy shifting?
Under market pressure, actions among crypto treasury companies have diverged; the overall trend of increasing holdings remains unchanged, but the pace of capital operations has clearly shifted to prioritize prudence.
Strategy's moves have attracted market attention: last week, it spent $65.5 million to increase holdings by 811 BTC, while simultaneously using $208 million to repurchase preferred shares, with the repurchase scale exceeding the coin purchase amount by more than three times. The core logic is that the current stock price premium over NAV has narrowed to about 1.2 times, significantly raising the dilution cost of issuing shares to buy coins; repurchasing discounted preferred shares can stabilize the coin content per share and optimize the balance sheet, representing a shift from aggressive expansion to meticulous accounting rather than stopping coin accumulation. Currently, the company’s available cash is being rapidly consumed, and there is pressure to adjust the pace of future repurchases and fundraising.
Other institutions continue to increase holdings: Strive added 124 BTC, financing for the first time through preferred shares with a 15% annual interest; Metaplanet repaid bonds early and redirected fundraising to BTC, raising its purchase budget to $212 million; BitMine increased holdings by 8,573 ETH, with total holdings reaching about 6.06 million ETH.
The short-term slowdown in major buying activity has somewhat suppressed market sentiment; however, long-term institutional reinforcement of risk control foundations paves the way for a healthier subsequent accumulation cycle. $BTC $ETH The price only fluctuates by 1%, so why can the account profit and loss differ by several times?
Because the trading result depends not only on the market trend but also on three factors:
1. Leverage: Amplifies positions and also amplifies profits and losses.
2. Position size: Determines the impact of a single fluctuation on the account.
3. Costs: Fees, slippage, and funding rates can erode profits.
Being right about the direction doesn’t necessarily mean making money.
Before trading, besides judging the market, you should first calculate clearly: if you are wrong, how much will you lose?
Which do you think is most easily overlooked: leverage, position size, or trading costs?
#Crypto #Trading #RiskManagementA 378 percentage point revenue growth, yet it resulted in a 13.47% crushing blow — what an amateur sees as a contradiction, a grandmaster recognizes as the inevitable reckoning after sacrificing a piece to gain the initiative.
The opening moves of this game were completed a year ago. The roughly 460 percentage point increase within the year wasn’t the market "discovering value," but rather the bulls having already priced in the checkmate 20 moves ahead before making their move. The 378 growth is the visible pawn, the guidance exceeding expectations is the hidden elephant, and the 8-for-1 stock split is the diagonal move that looks elegant but only changes the board’s form without altering the substance of the pieces — it makes each pawn appear cheaper but doesn’t add a single cent. When all the positives have been realized and no new pieces can move on the board, only one thing remains: converting the floating gains into real cash on hand.
The real signal lies in the correlation. Micron and Western Digital are simultaneously under pressure; this isn’t a single piece being captured, but the entire pawn chain loosening. The memory sector’s bullish formation is too forward-pressed and hollow in the rear; any tactical retreat will be magnified into a structural collapse — if SK Hynix falls below its issue price, that’s the crack in the king’s wing. The market asks, "Is growth already priced in?" but that’s the wrong question; the right question is: when everyone stands on the same square, who becomes the piece that’s restrained?
The days of adjusting trades after the stock split are just a square on the calendar, offering no piece advantage. As the midgame transitions to the endgame, the only thing that counts is whether profits can truly convert into free cash flow — that’s the king in the endgame; one wrong move and the entire board is lost. The current move is a forced response by the bulls under time pressure, not a proactive strategy. #sandiskearningsselloffTonight is the US midterm elections, the Bitcoin volatility window is here.
The key focus tonight is the control of Congress: polls lean towards the Democrats taking the House of Representatives, while the Senate remains uncertain. If the results end in a stalemate, market uncertainty could further increase.
Looking back at the last three US midterm elections, Bitcoin has shown similar patterns: after the election, it first undergoes a round of adjustment, then rebounds within the following year. $BTC TRX Market Outlook
* Current Price: TRX is trading at $TRX 0.3228.
* Recent Trend: After dropping to a low of $TRX 0.3001, TRX surged up to a peak of $0.3759 before pulling back down.
* Prediction: Markets always move in cycles of pumps and dumps.
Looking at past historical moves, TRX often bounces hard after sharp dips. It could test support near $TRX 0.31 before attempting another run toward $0.35. Bitcoin ($BTC) is currently trading near 76,813, with clear market divergence. Galaxy believes that the price standing above the 50-week moving average signals a bottom; Rekt, however, is optimistic about the 78,500 resistance holding, indicating the downtrend is not over, with support seen at 76,000. The bulls and bears are locked in a stalemate, and the market direction remains unclear. News is more about bargaining chips than clear signals. Ethereum ($ETH) is priced at 2,253, with risks leaning more towards the supply side. Over 420,000 ETH under Lazarus Group cannot be frozen, posing potential selling pressure on the market. Coupled with a $1.6 billion ETF outflow in October, even though the RSI has entered the oversold zone, it is difficult to sustain a continuous rebound. Price recovery will attract buyers but also provide better exit opportunities for holders, so the credibility of Ethereum's rebound is lower than Bitcoin's. OKB ($OKB) is at 109.33, confirming that positive news does not necessarily drive the market. The previous partnership with ICE was seen as a positive catalyst, but the token fell below 110, daily trading volume shrank to $12 million, and X Layer no longer generates cash flow. After liquidity thins, positive news often triggers sell-offs, weakening order book resilience, and a small amount of stop-loss orders can break support; weak demand is the core issue. The commonality among the three is that technical structure analysis is being suppressed by supply and demand fundamentals. To break the current pattern, key signals to watch include: $BTC holding above 78,500 Why might the original profit advantage disappear as more people use similar strategies?
A strategy that worked in the past doesn't mean its advantage will last forever.
When more traders chase the same signals, the following may occur:
* Worse entry prices;
* Increased execution costs when liquidity is insufficient;
* Multiple positions exiting simultaneously during market reversals;
* Decline in net returns after costs.
But short-term losses don't necessarily mean the strategy is overcrowded. Changes in market conditions, random fluctuations, and execution deviations can also affect results.
To determine if a strategy is losing its edge, you can check:
1. The gap between actual execution prices and expected prices;
2. Net returns after deducting trading costs;
3. Average profits, average losses, and maximum drawdown;
4. Whether performance consistently changes across different market phases.
A truly reliable strategy is not one that made money in the past, but one whose advantage can continuously withstand validation.
If a strategy's net returns keep declining, would you first adjust the parameters or pause trading and revalidate?

The volatility will definitely increase once the midterm election results come out tomorrow morning. Overall, expect a rise followed by a fall.
Bitcoin's target is first around 76500; Ethereum should be shorted directly near 2300, with a target around 2240. Also keep an eye on 79000 and 2340. $BTC $ETH $SOL #PalantirQ3营收增长96%,股价不涨反跌 Suspected stolen amount rose from $106 million to $133 million. Kraken first froze the related accounts.

Crypto.com said it has blocked the related fund flows.
Another perspective on-chain should be viewed separately. Bitquery only counted $108.8 million USDC flowing through Kraken, Crypto.com, and OKX to 15 wallets, 11 of which had previously received payments from the same exchanges.
The 11 receiving addresses had previously received payments from the same exchanges. The attacker obtained not only login credentials but also the keys to these addresses.

Tether allocates up to 15% of realized operating profits to Bitcoin purchases.3.8 billion USD — this is not seasonal rainfall; this is the extreme pressure value of tokenized stocks on-chain breaking the ceiling for ten consecutive weeks. Warm and humid airflows are flooding crazily from the Solana chain, with the securitization platform launching 13 US stock products at once: ExxonMobil, Disney, Uber, like a row of newly installed rain gauges, pumping the vapor of traditional equity directly into the crypto atmosphere. The NYSE and Broadridge followed closely, announcing plans for on-chain shareholder voting and transfer agent services — this is equivalent to deploying a set of high-altitude sounding radars in addition to the existing ground observation network. Once the infrastructure's "pressure gradient" levels out, the "monsoon" of capital and trading demand can no longer be suppressed.
But forecasters never look at single-station data. Ten consecutive weeks of record-breaking growth essentially represent an abnormally strong subtropical high pressure: the total market cap of on-chain stocks rising from zero to 3.8 billion USD is not linear growth but a cyclonic outbreak. Solana's throughput acts like a rapid stream axis, Securitize's 25 products resemble a mesoscale convective complex, each new product releasing latent heat. The XIREN token acts like an isolated strong convective cell on the edge of the main rainband — its linkage to the overall tokenization wave depends on whether low-level convergence continues. The NYSE and Broadridge's on-chain services add a cold front lifting mechanism to this warm and humid airflow: voting and transfer agency are key to capital's "precipitation efficiency"; without these, no matter how much vapor there is, it can only float in the air.
What about risks? Ten weeks of continuous rise is like ten consecutive days of record-breaking high temperatures; surface energy is already extremely saturated. The liquidity depth of on-chain stocks is like the boundary layer thickness; once external cold air (such as regulatory shifts or sudden macro interest rate changes) moves southward, it triggers not just thunderstorms but potentially downbursts. The new ExxonMobil, Disney, and Uber products on Securitize have well-dispersed industry weights but are all on the same Solana chain — equivalent to all rain gauges crowded in one valley, making localized flash floods far more likely than widespread rainfall. The NYSE's on-chain voting service is a good signal but, like a newly built radar station not yet calibrated through flood season, signal-to-noise ratio remains questionable. Broadridge's transfer agency is the foundational pressure field; its ability to withstand short-term heavy precipitation from high-frequency trading remains to be seen.
XIREN's linkage logic is clear: it is like the spiral rainband of a typhoon, guided by the main circulation (total tokenization market cap) and possessing its own mesoscale vortex. Ten consecutive weeks of records mean the guiding airflow is strong, but any reconstruction of the core rainband — such as settlement delays in a large-cap tokenized stock — could cause XIREN's volatility to spike suddenly. The current atmospheric stratification is conditionally unstable: capital inflow is warm and humid advection, infrastructure is a wedge of cold air, and their intersection is a strong convective potential zone. The 3.8 billion USD is just the precipitable water; what truly determines precipitation efficiency is cloud base height — that is, the depth of on-chain liquidity and the tightness of market maker quotes. After ten weeks of continuous rise, any break in the "warm and humid conveyor belt" will cause a short-term heavy precipitation drop in tokenized stock value, with XIREN as the edge cell feeling the shear first.
Forecasters trust only data: the ten consecutive weeks of record-breaking on-chain stock market cap is like ten consecutive sounding times showing the inversion layer completely broken, with the air mass properties shifting from "stable" to "unstable." The 13 new products on Solana are the trigger mechanism for latent heat release, while the NYSE and Broadridge's on-chain services strengthen the convergence field. When precipitable water reaches 38 mm (billion USD) and convergence continues, precipitation is only a matter of time — provided the cold front does not arrive prematurely.
The current pressure gradient is approaching a critical value; any unexpected outbreak of capital warm and humid airflow will trigger strong convection — and XIREN is that most unstable convective cell. Once its vertical wind shear misaligns with the movement direction of the on-chain main rainband, localized heavy rain and clear sky areas will appear simultaneously. #tokenizedstocksrecordPlaying it safe, not adding any coins this week.
It's not that I don't want to profit, but this week's risks are too dense: on one side, the US midterm elections; on the other, the non-farm payrolls; plus a 70% chance of a Fed rate hike.
Jumping in now means you're gambling not on the market, but on luck.
On Wednesday morning Beijing time, election results will start coming in. JPMorgan estimates that if the Democrats win completely, US stocks might drop about 0.5% on Wednesday; if the Republicans hold, they could rise up to 1%. The options market is betting on about 0.8% volatility that day, which is not small.
Later, at 9:30 PM Friday, the non-farm payrolls will be released. Last month only added 29,000 jobs; this time the market expects just over 50,000 to 60,000. If the data is too strong, a December rate hike is basically locked in; if too weak, the market will worry the economy can't hold up. Neither outcome is good.
Looking at crypto. $BTC just broke below 77K, with over $300 million liquidated in 24 hours, 80% of which were longs. Around 75K below is where long liquidations cluster.
So this week I’m only doing three things:
First, no adding positions, set stop losses on current holdings.
Second, watch 75K closely. If it breaks, wait for the liquidation to finish before acting.
Third, wait for Friday’s non-farm data to come out and the direction to clear up before deciding the next step.
Markets happen every day, but capital is limited. In weeks like this, survival is more important than profit.

$BTC is around $76,900. The 200-day moving average is about $73,169, roughly 5.2% higher. During the European session, it dipped to about $76,300, then stabilized back to around $76,900. This time it stayed above the moving average, breaking the pattern seen before the last three election cycles.
Spot ETFs saw outflows of about $399M on Monday. BlackRock's IBIT outflowed about $405M, the largest single-day outflow since June. Recently, the implied volatility of expiring options is about 51%, compared to about 43.5% yesterday. $ZEC dropped about 8.6% to below approximately $1,150, and $NEAR fell about 7.3%. Suppose your account has 10,000 USDT, and you trade BTC, ETH, and SOL simultaneously.
If the planned risk for each trade is 1% of the account funds, the total planned risk for the three trades is 300 USDT, which is 3% of the account.
However, this does not mean the maximum loss is necessarily only 300 USDT.
Because different cryptocurrencies may be affected by the same market factors, losses can occur simultaneously during liquidity drops or sharp market declines.
Managing portfolio risk requires attention to:
* Individual trade risk versus overall risk budget;
* Correlation between different assets;
* Notional position value and leverage;
* Actual execution conditions of stop-loss orders;
* Stress testing under extreme market conditions.
Holding more cryptocurrencies does not equate to true risk diversification.
Don’t just ask how much each trade might lose; also ask: if all positions experience adverse changes simultaneously, how much loss can the entire account withstand?
Do you consider BTC, ETH, and SOL as three independent trades, or as one overall risk portfolio?

Tonight is the US nationwide voting day. BTC once dipped below $77,000 during the day, then pulled back near $77,500 — both US stocks and the crypto market are racing to price in the same thing: uncertainty resolution.
First, let's see what's at stake tonight: all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate are up for election, plus 39 governorships. Current standings: House Republicans 218 seats vs Democrats 214 seats; Democrats need a net gain of 3 seats to retake control. Senate Republicans 53 vs Democrats 47; Democrats need a net gain of 4 seats to flip the Senate.
Key battlegrounds: Texas, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Kansas, Alaska.
Why say the market is racing ahead? Three signals:
Pre-election capital moves to safety. BTC spot ETFs saw net outflows for two consecutive days: $643 million out on 10/30, the largest since June. Another $399 million outflow on 11/2. Apple's earnings hit records but weakened due to concerns over rising storage chip prices — risk assets broadly took a hit.
Selling pressure comes from sentiment, not fundamentals. Nearly $1 billion net outflow over two days, yet BTC only made a shallow pullback near $77,000 before stabilizing and rallying — sell orders are being absorbed, institutional outflows don't equal a trend reversal.
Historical experience. For the market, the biggest negative is not "who wins" but "uncertainty remains." Once election results settle, half the valuation pressure is lifted. In past US elections, risk assets mostly rebounded after results became clear, reflecting "bad news priced in."
Why does the US stock market move first and crypto follow?
Because the main pricing agents for elections are in US stocks — fiscal policy, taxes, and regulation directly affect corporate earnings expectations. Crypto follows indirectly through USD liquidity and risk appetite, so BTC often lags but moves in the same direction.
Those who understand US stocks have more confidence in crypto, which is why I watch both.
Underlying it all is the same factor: liquidity. USD, US Treasury yields, and rate cut expectations simultaneously determine the mid-term direction of the Nasdaq and BTC. So this week actually has two major battles — besides the election, Friday brings the nonfarm payrolls (previous 65K, forecast 29K). If nonfarm weakens and cements rate cut expectations, BTC often rallies ahead before the December FOMC (12/8–9).
Two possible outcomes, two paths:
Scenario A: House flips, government divided. Fiscal expansion limited, which actually favors "rate cut trades," friendly to BTC and tech stocks, and crypto legislation likely remains stalled.
Scenario B: Republicans hold both chambers. Policy continuity and higher fiscal expectations, but rate expectations may rise, creating both positive and negative pressures.
I tend to price in a "divided Congress" first and adjust after results. Tonight, watch these three things:
1. Key state outcomes (Texas, Maine, Michigan) — to gauge House direction.
2. Official announcement of House control — usually results come out from midnight to morning.
3. Whether BTC can hold above $75,000 — a short-term bull-bear dividing line, with resistance at $80,000.
Post-scenario observation points: If the House flips, watch if BTC rallies above $78,000 on volume and if Nasdaq futures follow. If Republicans hold, watch if the USD index and Treasury yields rise — which would pressure BTC. Don't guess, wait for official announcements and confirm with market moves.
Trading discipline: No heavy positions or chasing orders tonight. Wait for official announcements on both chambers and confirm market moves before acting. If BTC falls below $74,000, exit and observe. Don't put all your positions on the election variable — the next battle is Friday. $BTC $ETH $AAPL $SNDK $NVDA Double bottom pattern $PENDLE failed. #Pendle's support levels are $1.46 and $1.25.💥 Market Overview 11.3: Fear at 26, Double Negative Factors Suppress the Market

#美国中期选举在即,哪些结果值得关注? $SOL has impressive ecosystem growth, particularly in RWA and network activity, but that growth still needs to translate into sustained token demand.
With the US midterm elections adding another layer of policy and regulatory uncertainty, volatility could remain elevated.
For now, fundamentals are holding up better than market sentiment. The next thing both assets need is a clear return of capital inflows, not just positive headlines.
#USMidtermsPolicyOutlook Outflows have turned into inflows, but Binance's accounts are still not balanced.
The question raised in the afternoon article has a preliminary answer tonight: According to Binance CEO Teng's own data, in the 46 hours since withdrawals reopened, users withdrew a total of $10.97 billion and deposited $5.69 billion, resulting in a net outflow of $5.28 billion.
The turning point was around 11 AM Beijing time today: in that hour, deposits exceeded withdrawals by about $10 million. Teng said the trend has started to turn positive. DefiLlama's 24-hour data also matches this: Binance had a net inflow of $2.3 billion in the past 24 hours, ranking first among all exchanges, far surpassing second-place Bitfinex's $280 million.
But don't interpret the turning point as the case being closed: the 7-day net outflow is still around $11.8 billion, and one day's inflow can't erase a week's deficit. Teng also only dared to say at the Hong Kong FinTech Week today that the hourly flow is "basically normalized," with 95% of stolen assets recovered, and the remaining 5% are low-liquidity small coins still being exchanged with OTC dealers.
So the narrative needs to be adjusted: it's not over yet, just the most panic-stricken period has passed, money is starting to flow back, but to truly balance the accounts, it depends on whether inflows can continue for several days in a row. #加密行业协同守护资产安全
Recently, security incidents have intensified, and the industry is shifting from passive risk exposure to a proactive defense model combining regulatory constraints and full-chain interception.
South Korean regulators are rapidly tightening controls: The Financial Services Commission plans to increase the proportion of exchange customer assets held in cold wallets from 80% to 99%, leaving only 1% in hot wallets to cover daily withdrawals; leading platforms like Upbit and Bithumb have been collectively summoned, requiring enhanced transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting. While security upgrades are underway, withdrawal processing efficiency may decline.
CORE theft case sees phased progress: The network recovered 68.146 million tokens from the attacker’s address via a hard fork, accounting for 70.2% of the total stolen amount. The operation did not roll back transactions or increase token supply. However, this move has sparked governance controversy—on-chain recovery capability is backed by relatively centralized block production and governance rights.
Binance theft case shows significant results from industry-wide coordinated interception: The platform, together with stablecoin issuers and law enforcement, has frozen approximately $3 billion in related assets, greatly increasing the difficulty of laundering stolen funds across chains.
In the short term, the combination of security incidents and interest rate hike expectations suppresses the market, with BTC fluctuating between $76,000 and $78,500; in the long term, the normalization of security systems reduces institutional entry concerns. Users still need to properly manage private keys and contract authorization controls. $BTC $ETH Nearly 100,000 people liquidated, mainstream coins collectively under pressure, but the chain is quietly "bottom fishing"? The market seems calm today, but there are hidden currents.
BTC: $77,263 (-0.18%)
Geopolitical risks combined with cautious sentiment ahead of the US midterm elections caused Bitcoin to break below the 77,000 mark, with a year-to-date decline exceeding 12%. Under macro pressure, the short-term direction is unclear.
ETH: $2,283 (+0.57%)
1.37 million ETH are queued for staking on-chain, but October ETF net outflows exceeded $1.2 billion—staking is increasing on-chain, while traditional funds are retreating. The ETH/BTC rate is approaching a three-month low.
XRP: $1.283 (+2.85%)
7,934 new wallets were added in a single day, marking the sixth highest this year, but Coinbase's US premium dropped to -0.16%, and ETF inflows slowed to the lowest this year. On-chain activity is hot while capital sentiment is cold, with $1.25 as a key support.
The current market shows a divergence of "on-chain heat, capital cold"—staking and wallet data are growing, but ETFs and traditional buying are shrinking. Is this divergence a bottom signal or a liquidity trap?
#美国中期选举在即,哪些结果值得关注? $ZEC $CRCL issue USDC, users deposit dollars to exchange for USDC, and Circle uses this money to buy U.S. Treasury bonds to earn interest. So the reserve interest of USDC has always belonged to Circle. But HYPE actually snatched this piece of meat away.
In August 2026, HYPE created a framework called AQAv2. The rule is simple: if you want USDC to become the main margin and quoting asset on HYPE, you have to give me about 90% of the interest earned by this batch of USDC on-chain. Circle had to agree to keep tens of billions of shares. If they didn't agree? The money would all be converted to USDT.
Today, the second payment was delivered on schedule. 15.92 million USDC. That's 9.2% more than the first payment on October 3 (14.58 million USDC). At the current price, this money can directly burn about 190,000 HYPE.
This has made HYPE the only major L1 that directly profits from USDC reserves. With the current stock, the daily income exceeds 500,000 USD.
All this money is used for buyback and burn, creating a crazy flywheel: the larger the USDC stock → the more protection fees paid → the more HYPE burned. The Nasdaq 100 has broken below a key support level, with 4-hour highs and lows continuously moving downward. The sideways movement around 28100 only indicates a temporary easing of selling pressure; the downtrend is not over yet.
The midterm elections are a short-term turning point.
The market has already priced in the Democrats winning the House of Representatives. The Senate outcome will determine the strength of the rebound; a divided Congress helps restrain fiscal expansion, easing interest rate pressure and reducing policy uncertainty.
Historically, after election results are finalized, the US stock market usually benefits from the fading uncertainty, but the economy and earnings remain the ultimate pricing drivers.
Before the results are announced, the Nasdaq maintains a weak consolidation; once the results are clear, a likely oversold rebound will occur, but an immediate reversal is unlikely.
27800-28000 is the current support zone; holding this level could lead to a rebound to 28400-28800. Failure to reclaim 28800 carries the risk of retesting 27600.
BTC will follow the US stock market's recovery but with weaker resilience than the Nasdaq, expected to fluctuate between 76000-80000. Only if the Nasdaq breaks back above 28800 and BTC breaks out above 80000 with volume will risk appetite truly recover.
The election results are more likely to trigger a rebound but cannot temporarily change the weak structure of the Nasdaq and BTC. In short, consolidation is still needed. Volatility will be high this week, continuously testing bottom support! The positive news has landed, but the coin price dropped first.
NEAR's House of Stake passed HSP-029 yesterday with 99.9% support, lowering the annual issuance cap from 2.5% to 1.6%. It is estimated that about 11.8 million fewer tokens will be issued over 24 months, and the staking yield will also drop from 5.2% to 3.3%.
But this positive effect will take time to truly take effect: first, a 14-day veto period, plus a 90-day grace period.
So today's market does not recognize this long-term promise at all: NEAR is currently priced at $3.879, down 4.88% in 24 hours, ranging from 3.744 to 4.113, with the low point right beneath.
During the same period, BTC at $77,472 only dropped 0.56%, ETH at $2,288 basically stayed flat; NEAR is falling on its own, not dragged down by the broader market.
Wait and watch, don't chase; only when it stands back at 4.113 can it be considered recovered, breaking below 3.744 means weakness continues.
The positive effect of reducing inflation will only take effect after 90 days. Will you buy now, or wait for it to stabilize first?

This kind of spot bottoming combined with contract short squeeze tactics clearly aims to stir things up before next week's protocol upgrade.
Currently, the price is firmly stuck at the 1200 support zone, with a bunch of shorts stubbornly holding on. Big money is forcibly building positions at this level; this batch of shorts is very likely the ready kindling—just a slight push upward can trigger liquidations and send it soaring.

👇#US stocks and gold & silver fall sharply in sync, safe-haven fund flows diverge US stocks and gold & silver weaken simultaneously, with traditional safe-haven logic temporarily failing. The core reason is the rise in real interest rates combined with cross-market deleveraging. The market is repricing the Fed's hawkish bias, boosting the appeal of the dollar and short-term U.S. Treasury yields, causing funds to no longer prioritize gold but shift to dollar cash and short-term Treasuries.
Behind the market moves are forced margin liquidations; leveraged accounts sell gold and silver to cover losses from the stock market, causing risk assets and precious metals to plunge together, leading to a clear divergence in safe-haven funds. Silver usually falls more deeply due to its industrial attributes, amplifying volatility.
In the short term, it depends on whether U.S. Treasury yields can peak and retreat. If rates continue to rise, the pressure on gold and silver will persist; only if rate hike expectations cool down will gold resume its hedging role. Such simultaneous declines often indicate liquidity stress outweighing geopolitical safe-haven demand, with market volatility likely to remain elevated. $BTC $ETH $SNDK $SUI SUI's recent unlock dumped $39 million, yet the market barely reacted.
The $0.9 mark stubbornly holds, with spot buyers swallowing the selling pressure whole. What's more interesting is that 70% of the tokens are still locked in staking, so the circulating supply outside is already limited.
Short sellers have to pay interest daily. Given the current market, I'm more inclined to side with the bulls. If anyone really wants to break through $0.9, it probably won't be that easy.

👇$DOGE Yesterday was Doge Day, the community was celebrating Kabosu's birthday with posts and offline gatherings, the atmosphere was great. But what about the price? Around 0.074, nearly 90% down from the all-time high of 0.7316. To go from 0.074 back to 0.10 requires a 35.7% increase, sounds hopeful? But the problem is, for many people, 0.10 is just "losing a little less."
Big holders are selling, small holders are buying
There’s a data point that made me uneasy. Santiment’s data shows addresses holding 10 million to 100 million DOGE started reducing their holdings by about 120 million DOGE since Thursday, which is roughly 8.8 million USD at current prices. On the other side, small addresses holding 100,000 to 1 million DOGE are buying, but the amount they bought is about 20 million DOGE less than what was sold. Big holders are exiting, retail holders are entering, this picture is familiar to me. It doesn’t necessarily mean a drop, but at least it shows that the group holding the most coins is not accumulating now.
The technical outlook isn’t good either
The 50-day moving average has fallen below the 200-day moving average, forming a death cross. The last time this signal appeared was in November last year, when DOGE was around 0.18, and 30 days later it dropped to 0.143, down 21%. Of course, a death cross doesn’t mean it will drop tomorrow; it just indicates that the past seven weeks have been weaker than the past nine months. But combined with the big holders reducing their positions, the direction doesn’t look good. How much remains after deducting all costs from a $100 profit on a trade?
Book profit does not equal real net profit.
At least four cost factors need attention in trading:
1. Fees: Opening and closing positions may incur fees.
2. Slippage: The actual execution price may deviate from expectations.
3. Funding rate: In applicable perpetual contracts, holding positions may generate funding costs or income.
4. Other fees: Such as applicable exchange, cross-chain, or withdrawal fees.
Assuming a gross profit of 100 USDT on a trade, with total related costs of 3.50 USDT, the net profit is 96.50 USDT.
This is just a calculation example; actual results depend on specific trading conditions.
It is recommended to separately record gross profit, fees, slippage, funding rate, and net profit, then review weekly or monthly.
What truly matters is not how much you made on paper, but how much remains after costs and whether this advantage can be sustained long-term.
When you record trades, do you separately track each cost item?

October ISM Manufacturing PMI rose to 55.5, exceeding expectations, with the price index remaining high at 75.2. Economic resilience and inflation stickiness coexist. The current market pricing for a 25bp rate hike in December has reached 72%-85%. The nonfarm payroll report released at 21:30 Beijing time on November 6 will be the core validation point for policy direction.
The market consensus expects an increase of 60,000-65,000 jobs (previous value 29,000), with the unemployment rate steady at 4.2%. Neutral data best aligns with the Fed's observation path, keeping the rate hike probability basically stable; an increase of over 100,000 jobs will further solidify rate hike expectations and suppress risk assets; an increase below 30,000 could ease tightening expectations and drive a market rebound.
The crypto market is currently consolidating and bottoming: BTC's core range is $76,000-$80,000, with $76,000 as a key short-term support; only holding above $80,000 will repair the downtrend structure; ETH 2250 is the short-term lifeline. In the past 24 hours, BTC long liquidations exceeded $200 million, but open interest changes were limited, leverage rotation has not been fully cleared, and the fear and greed index has dropped to 26, entering the panic zone.
Volatility on nonfarm payroll night can be amplified; avoid subjective data predictions, prioritize risk control, and do not heavily bet on a single outcome.
$BTC $ETH $SOL $BZ $CL The US-Iran situation has eased over the past two days, but can a ceasefire really happen? Will oil prices continue to surge?
In the past two days, there have been clear signs of "easing" in the US-Iran situation: indirect negotiations mediated by Qatar have been intensively advancing, and Iran has proposed a "two-day plan," stating that if the US first lifts the blockade, unfreezes assets, and relaxes sanctions, the Strait of Hormuz could be reopened the next day; Trump and Pence publicly stated that "progress is good" and they are "not in a hurry to restart strikes," causing oil prices to plummet more than 7% in a single day.
However, looking closely, this seems more like a state where negotiations and limited military actions coexist, rather than a true ceasefire. The US military just carried out a defensive strike on Qeshm Island, Iranian officials clearly said the agreement is far from reached, will not accept "excessive demands," and warned of a "more decisive response." Netanyahu is also pushing to resume strikes immediately after the election. Core disagreements remain huge on nuclear programs, sanction intensity, and control of the strait; previous memorandums of understanding quickly became invalid, and the trust foundation is very weak.
Currently, the only possibility is short-term localized easing, such as temporarily opening the strait in exchange for some economic concessions, which is possible, especially as the US is in the middle of midterm elections and war is unpopular; but the probability of a comprehensive, lasting ceasefire is low, and it is more likely to cool down for a while and then resume bargaining after the election.
Regarding oil prices, Brent is currently around $100, having fallen from above $117 earlier. If negotiations truly succeed and the strait remains open, prices are expected to decline further; but if negotiations break down and military actions escalate, causing serious obstruction of the Strait of Hormuz again, oil prices could easily surge back to $120 or even higher. Conclusion first: Today is the U.S. midterm election voting day, and $BTC slid from 78,005 to a 24-hour low of 76,360 (14:10), breaking below 77,000. CoinDesk's judgment today is straightforward—Bitcoin is breaking the midterm election pattern since 2014. Three numbers: ① Breadth: Among OKX's 249 USDT perpetual contracts with trading volume over 1 million USD, 72 rose and 174 fell, median -1.16%; $NEAR dropped from 4.119 to a low of 3.743 within 24 hours, down 9.1%. ② Open interest: OKX's total BTC contract open interest fell from 3.746 billion USD on 11/2 to 3.687 billion, down 1.6%—this is a volume contraction, not an increase in positions. ③ Funding rate has been locked at the 0.01%/8h floor, longs are still paying, no one is squeezing shorts. So this is not a safe-haven buy of Bitcoin, but deleveraging first hitting altcoins. The regulatory side hasn't helped either: CFTC Chair Selig is pushing for unified federal exchange regulation after Binance's 6.3 billion USD hack, but a divided Congress keeps stalling the bill. I won't give a direction, just waiting for two signals: whether ETF net inflows can recover, and whether 76,360 can hold. The ballots don't take the blame, the wallets do. A confirmed pattern: $BTC usually drops sharply right after the US midterm elections but then experiences a strong reversal

2026 will continue to test this#苹果Q4营收超预期,下季度毛利率指引承压 #苹果FY2026 Q4 earnings: Revenue far exceeds expectations, profit concerns emerge🔥
Apple delivered a superficially impressive report card: Q4 revenue of $114.5 billion, up 12% year-over-year, iPhone revenue surged 17% to $57.6 billion, both revenue and phone business beating market expectations, with EPS reaching $2.10. But it should be noted that about $0.05 of the EPS came from a one-time tariff refund, which is an unsustainable gain.
The biggest negative is the guidance for next quarter: revenue is expected to maintain steady growth of 7%-10%, but gross margin guidance is only 45%-46%, significantly below market expectations. The two main culprits are rising prices of storage chips and cloud service costs brought by Apple AI.
On one hand, the new iPhone cycle drives revenue growth; on the other, AI investments and rising component prices continue to erode the profit moat. Apple has proven it can sell products at a premium and with quality, but whether it can maintain its proud high gross margin in the AI era is the core question the market faces next. #USStocks #Apple #EarningsAnalysisThe negative impact of the hacker incident should be mostly over for now, but the trend is still not ideal.
The USDCNY exchange rate has rebounded to 6.67, but the price for USDT withdrawals has dropped to around 6.61. There is a clear outflow of USDT funds.
The only good news is that USDC funds are flowing in, possibly indicating a shift of funds from USDT to USDC.
The total market cap of USDT+USDC is still declining.
Next, all eyes are on the midterm elections. Before the US stock market opens, this sudden sharp V-shaped rebound has made many brothers feel like the bull market is quickly returning, and they're ready to go all in? Hold on, don't get ahead of yourself. Look at the contract data; the scheme behind this rally is extremely deep. The manipulative whales are clearly setting a trap!
$BTC is currently priced at 77,500, having surged straight up from the bottom at 76,260. It looks strong, but looking at the hourly long-short ratio, it has risen to 2.81, indicating that as soon as the price rebounds, retail bulls rush in. The resistance at 78,000 is right ahead. The main players have no reason to push through with such heavy leverage, so it's highly likely there will be a shakeout downward.
Looking at $ETH, currently at 2,288, the long-short ratio is also as high as 2.46. The funding rate keeps hovering near zero, showing that the bulls are extremely conflicted. This kind of momentum-following trade will fall faster than anyone else if the market softens even slightly.
The most dangerous is definitely $SOL, currently at 93.1, the weakest rebound in the entire market. But look at its 4-hour long-short ratio, which has absurdly reached 3.50. What does this mean? A bunch of bulls are bottom-fishing with the heaviest leverage and the smallest gains. If the main players aren't using it as a sacrificial lamb, who else can they target?
In summary, liquidity is poor before the US market opens. This rally is very likely a bull trap. Don't rush to chase the highs; be careful that the US market might open and hit you with a big squeeze.
The US market opens at 10:30 soon. Do you think this rally will continue to squeeze shorts or will it turn around and crash? Do you have any positions now?
#美国中期选举在即,哪些结果值得关注? #With the US midterm elections approaching, which outcomes are worth watching? The US-Iran memorandum of understanding has been approved! Oil prices plummeted 7%, but why didn't Bitcoin rise? Brothers, there is a major geopolitical development. Al Jazeera reports that Washington has approved the draft US-Iran memorandum of understanding. According to the previously disclosed 14-point framework, the core contents include: immediate and permanent cessation of all frontline military actions, complete lifting of the maritime blockade by the US within 30 days, commitment to end unilateral sanctions on Iran, release of frozen assets, and Iran maintaining its nuclear program status quo while accepting uranium enrichment dilution. The market reaction was extremely intense. WTI crude oil plunged more than 7% in a single day, directly breaking below the $100 mark; Brent crude fell to around $105. The transmission chain of the oil price collapse is very clear: energy costs decline, inflation expectations cool down, and the December rate hike bet fell from over 80% to 72%. But a key divergence appeared: Bitcoin did not follow the rise. Oil prices dropped 7%, gold and silver rebounded over 2%, while BTC only slightly fell 0.06%, continuing to struggle around $76,000. Why? First, the wound from the Binance hack has not healed. The $6.3 billion hack incident is still unfolding, with $643 million flowing out of spot ETFs on October 30 alone; liquidity has not yet recovered. The geopolitical good news is at the macro level, but the crypto circle's own liquidity is still bleeding. Second, this is an intention, not a finalized deal. The memorandum requires both sides to negotiate a final agreement within 60 days; each step—sanctions relief, nuclear issue handling, Strait navigation restoration—has potential for back-and-forth.The first report card of Apple's new CEO has become one of the biggest topics tonight in Orbit: ranked second on the topic page, with 1,961,400 views and 829 posts shown in the Creator Center. The earnings report hasn't been released yet, but the discussion has already reached conclusions. Before the earnings report, I want to clarify three things; if you can't distinguish them, you won't understand the report when it comes out. First, guidance habits are history, not guarantees. One post in Orbit bet 16,000xp on the earnings beating expectations, partly because Apple has historically liked to give conservative guidance, and earnings often beat consensus expectations. Big tech giants generally have a tradition of managing expectations. This is the post's viewpoint, which I am relaying, not a conclusion. Habits can be referenced, but habits are not contracts: management's expectation management happens every year, but beating expectations is not guaranteed annually. Taking habits as conclusions is like applying the past script directly to the new CEO's first report card. Second, beating expectations does not equal stock price increase. The same post also hedged: it didn't bet the maximum amount, indicating that funds are wary of risks—rising storage costs, slowing iPhone growth, and possibly weak guidance next quarter. The post reserved nearly 30% for underperformance, with a floating loss of -14.06xp at the time. Earnings have two layers: this quarter's numbers and next quarter's guidance. Numbers beating expectations but weak guidance can still cause the stock price to fall; mediocre numbers but strong guidance can still push the stock price up. Looking only at the first layer is like only reading half the earnings report. Third, let's clarify what counts as misreading. The most useful before the earnings report
