Binance was hacked for about $5.3 billion, BNB plunged to 680 within an hour, I’m not catching this falling knife.
Here’s what happened: On the evening of 10/29 (UTC), Binance was hacked. Glassnode estimates about $5.3 billion stolen, Arkham tracked about $5.7 billion.
Transferred out were 17,985 BTC, about 1.66 billion USDT, and 767 million USDC; Tether and Circle have frozen over $2.3 billion combined.
The hacker also borrowed about 20,000 WETH on Aave using the stolen USDT.
BNB dropped from 744.9 to 680 in one hour, closing at 698.46 on 10/29 daily chart, down 8.1%, with volume about 4.4 times the 50-day average.
I think what’s being crushed isn’t BNB itself. Glassnode says Binance’s BNB balance wasn’t moved; what’s being crushed is the confidence that "even the largest exchange can be emptied."
He Yi said Binance guarantees full coverage, but with many deposit and withdrawal suspensions for a day, the market grows suspicious for that day.
What I’m doing: watching only, no buying.
Will reconsider after reclaiming 726.84 (the rebound high after the hack); if it falls below 680, next stop is MA200 at 654.7.
Where do you stand: will BNB be stronger after full compensation, or is this a trust inflection point?

#AI与量子威胁下,区块链安全如何升级? I think there's no need to rush to bottom-fish. I also took profit on the short position opened at 81888. I'm not going to take the last bite of meat. This event has had a significant impact on the industry. Right now, hackers have smashed the market, but there will likely be user sell-offs afterward. After all, the impact is so big, so there should be another wave of decline. BTC at 750 might come!
Once we enter the crypto space, we must have confidence in its future. I believe tokenization and web3 will be the mainstream going forward.
For now, just keep observing. This situation is hard to operate in! But if we get through these few days, after the midterm elections, there should be a big explosion!
$BTC $ETH When I look at prediction markets in the crypto space, I often get this feeling: I agree with the outcome, but I just can't accept the odds. When buying coins, people talk about the project and ecosystem, and the story can be very elaborate. Here, they directly put a price on a certain event, and "I think it will happen" and "whether this price is reasonable" really need to be separated. Odds aren't a certified stamp either; when orders are placed on the order book, buying and selling can push the price around. So when I see comments shouting "No need to guess," I want to ask, are you saying the outcome is certain, or that the price is a bargain to pick up?Can $LINK's 24/7 quoting service expand LINK's oracle revenue? Chainlink adds weekend quotes for tokenized stocks and other assets, with Aave Horizon as one of the first adopters. Trading remains possible when traditional markets are closed, enhancing the value of reliable pricing, but it depends on whether service usage and payments continue. If more tokenized asset protocols connect and generate observable fees, the demand logic for LINK strengthens; if trading depth is insufficient and quotes do not generate revenue, the new service remains just a product capability rather than a token catalyst.$SNDK SanDisk once again predicted in advance, reminded to short on the rebound yesterday, and today continues to see pressure on the rebound!
Yesterday, Sister Rui already reminded everyone that after SNDK touched $1421, the risk of the positive news being priced in is getting bigger. You can consider shorting on the rebound between $1360–$1370, with the first target at $1320. SanDisk dropped as low as $1261, now rebounding to $1310. The emphasis yesterday was not to blindly short, but that there are too many profit-taking positions at high levels. After the earnings report is released, funds are very likely to choose to realize profits first.
What's more interesting is that this earnings report is actually not bad (see chart 3). With such strong fundamentals, why is it still falling?
Because the market never trades just on whether the performance is good or not, but also on how much the market has already priced in the expectations. It had already risen sharply before, so after the earnings announcement, it’s not surprising that profit-taking funds choose to cash out. A good earnings report does not necessarily mean the price can only go up; the realization of positive news can also become a source of selling pressure.
Adding to that, with the Binance hack incident, my outlook remains bearish. Short directly on the rebound at $1300–$1310, with a short-term target focused on doubling down. It will definitely fall below $1200; if you don’t believe it, just wait and see!

Let me clarify in advance: Bitcoin rose about 43% in Q3, Strategy was revalued at fair value, and it is expected to recognize approximately $20.9 billion in unrealized digital asset gains, ending four consecutive quarters of losses.
But don't get carried away — this money is "paper wealth," no coins sold, no cash flow in, and there is also a $18.8 billion deferred income tax disturbance. The real focus is not on the income statement, but on: holding 848,000 coins, increased cash reserves, repurchasing STRC to reduce leverage, and the balance sheet being more solid than the book unrealized gains.
Mid-term logic: good earnings reports tend to "buy the rumor, sell the fact," so MSTR may spike and then fall in the short term. But the whale's balance sheet is becoming more stable, which is a long-term anchor for $BTC.I'm focusing on TRX this time, where "position size is moving faster than price" 👀: According to Hyperliquid perpetual public market data, the 4-hour position size increased from about $16.9 million to $20.02 million, a rise of 18.42%; during the same period, the price rose from $0.3517 to $0.3563, with a funding rate of -0.0377%/hour.
This is somewhat interesting, but I tend to see it as a localized leverage game heating up rather than a signal of a broad recovery in small-cap coins. Rapid position growth with little price movement means new positions don't equal consensus on direction; price increases accompanied by negative funding rates also indicate it can't be simply interpreted as a bullish one-sided market. Data from a single platform is insufficient to support judgments about the entire sector.
I view high-volatility assets as having both opportunities and risks within the divergence. If subsequent trading volume doesn't keep up and positions continue to build, I'll be more cautious about amplified volatility and will keep monitoring volume, price, and funding rates. What sectors have you all been watching recently? Have you noticed similar discrepancies between position size and price?158|On-chain data changed, what about yesterday's judgment?
When doing a review, there's a detail I want to seriously note: the data seen at the time might later be revised by the analysis platform.
This doesn't necessarily mean the transaction records on the blockchain were altered; it could also be address label updates or the platform gaining new recognition of which addresses belong to the same entity.
For example, a wallet not previously identified as an exchange might later be tagged, and the related historical fund flow statistics could then be adjusted accordingly.
If I only use today's updated chart to retrospectively evaluate yesterday's judgment, it's easy to forget that when making decisions yesterday, I didn't have this current information.
Therefore, what I want to keep is not just a lonely screenshot, but the data source, viewing time, statistical period, and my own explanation at that time.
If revisions occur later, add a note: whether the change comes from the market itself or from updates in classification and statistical methods.
This way, it can be distinguished whether I misunderstood or if the information at the time was indeed incomplete. Reviews should allow corrections, rather than explaining every step afterward as if it was predicted all along.
Do you save the original data version when making judgments? $AAVE
Kraken just reported a trading service anomaly, and the market immediately started rumors that its liquidity is tight, with exposure on Aave exceeding $130 million. Note, these are rumors, no solid proof.
But the price doesn't care about truth or falsehood. AAVE dropped from above 129 to a low of 114.93 within 24 hours, currently around 123, down more than 4 points, with a rebound up to 138 in between, a volatility of nearly 19 points.
The background is that Binance's hack is still not settled. The loss figures keep being revised upward—this morning it was said to be over 3 billion, by noon preliminary investigations disclosed about 6.3 billion, ZachXBT said it was suspected to be done by Lazarus. In this jittery market, any stir from an exchange hits first the DeFi protocols that have business dealings with it; last time Aave paused deposits and loans, this time its exposure was named.
The Aave protocol itself has not found any issues this round, OKX contract positions are only about $15 million, fees are near zero, the drop is due to sentiment, not positions. My view: as long as this thorn of Binance is not removed, anyone connected to it will get hit. As for whether that $130 million exposure is true or not, wait for Kraken to speak for itself.
#美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 The decline caused by AMZN's earnings report dragged down BTC and $ETH
In the early morning, Amazon's earnings report landed, and concerns about profits arose due to the continued rise in AI capital support, causing the stock price to plummet and directly dragging down the Nasdaq. With a tightening macro environment and weakening US stock risk assets, BTC and ETH, as high-beta assets, were the first to be indiscriminately sold off. This is not a single negative factor but a resonance of deteriorating macro, US stock, and internal crypto funding conditions, triggering a climax of long liquidation.
On the market, Bitcoin lost the key support between 79,000 and 80,000 USD, Ethereum fell below 2,300 USD, and leveraged long positions across the market were heavily liquidated. Although short-term panic reached an extreme, ETF funds did not experience extreme outflows, and on-chain chips showed signs of support at low levels.
After the intense shakeout, for spot trading, the areas around 76,000-78,000 USD and near 2,200 USD may be zones for phased buying. It is necessary to closely monitor the FOMC policy path, avoid blindly catching falling knives, keep sufficient cash flow, and wait for right-side confirmation after sentiment recovery. $BTC $ETH $ZEC It is not recommended for everyone to play with $PREDICT:
1. According to Defillama, predict.fun's revenue this month is $2.01 million, with an annualized revenue of $24 million. But the current market cap is 1.3 billion, which means a price-to-earnings ratio of 54.
A P/E ratio of 54 is very high: first, because the current revenue is a bubble inflated by the community's speculative behavior, and now that community expectations have fallen through, the future looks bleak; second, predict.fun is already integrated into wallets, so there are no new major growth opportunities, and future growth potential is limited.
2. Moreover, a big reason is that the project team’s annual earnings of $24 million have nothing to do with PREDICT, because the tokenomics issued by the project team currently have no buyback and burn mechanism, so profits will not be reflected in the token price.
3. The above reasons mean it cannot be held long-term, and the community airdrop claiming method means it cannot be held short-term either. The community airdrop has a rule that "users who choose to lock for 1 year can revoke anytime during the first month," so I estimate the project team does not intend to pump the price in the first month.
4. Of course, the prediction market is just emerging now, and the real value of Predict.fun lies in its close association with a favored entity next door, so funds are watching closely. But indeed, 1.3 billion is a bit high; if it were 300 million, I would definitely buy some to try, and above 800 million I think it’s expensive.$SNDK
Before the earnings report came out, a friend told me that SanDisk's performance would rise with eyes closed. I replied: Last quarter also exceeded expectations, but after-hours it still dropped 8%.
Last night, the Q1 earnings report for the US stock market was released after hours. Revenue was $11 billion, up 23% quarter-over-quarter, nearly tripled year-over-year; adjusted earnings per share were 49.51, expected 47.15, both exceeded. The data center business hit $4.8 billion in a single quarter, up 60% quarter-over-quarter. They also announced a 1-for-8 stock split and a $5 billion buyback, with no apparent issues on the books.
However, during regular US trading hours, the stock first dropped more than 5 points, then fell another 2 points after hours. The SNDK contract on OKX is currently priced at 1311, with a 24-hour low of 1261.
Exceeded expectations, yet fell. Last quarter's script is repeating this quarter. Everyone knows how much storage has risen; good earnings are a ticket to entry, not fuel. A few days ago, I said I wouldn't touch it before the earnings report landed, and now that it has, I still won't—why join the party when the price falls after good news is priced in?
#美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 This position has been discussed several times in previous posts. Since we've reached it, let's add to the position $BTC A multi-billion dollar on-chain theft was completed within just a few minutes with funds transferred
Even more bizarre, the attacker had signature authority over the hot wallet and even took direct control of wallet execution through EIP-7702 delegation
According to on-chain analysis, on October 28, a brand new address received startup funds from Tornado Cash
At 04:20, the hot wallet was set with an EIP-7702 delegation, with execution authority pointing to the related contract
At 04:24, the attacker directly transferred about 167,000 ETH, 1.6 billion USDT, and more than 60 other tokens in a single transaction
At 04:41, another hot wallet saw about 820 million USDC outflow
Here comes the key question: EIP-7702 delegation requires wallet private key signatures, so how exactly did the attacker obtain the signatures?
As for how much of the funds can be recovered, it is still uncertain
Currently, Circle has frozen about 820 million USDC, and Tether has frozen about 970 million USDT. Reports say the total frozen funds have exceeded 1.5 billion dollars
However, more than 400 million ETH cannot be recovered through freezing mechanisms and have been transferred to new addresses. Additionally, some USDT was split and transferred before being frozen
Although some funds have been frozen, this turmoil is likely far from over $BTC $ETH Binance has suspended all withdrawals after the hack. He Yi said user funds are still safe, but I'm a bit uneasy. I checked how Binance handled past hacks over the years...
Binance has been around for over 9 years. The exchange's own wallet was only actually stolen from once before, in 2019, with 40 million USD. If this early morning incident is confirmed, the estimated outflow alone is 3.3 billion USD, more than 80 times that amount.
So I reviewed all of Binance's past incidents to see how they resolved each one.
The first was in March 2018.
Hackers spent months creating phishing sites, gathering a batch of user accounts, and setting up API keys for trading on each account. On March 7, these accounts were manipulated within two minutes to buy VIA, pushing the price up 100 times. The hackers had pre-opened 31 accounts to sell on. But the withdrawal step triggered risk control, halting all trading and withdrawals. Binance reversed all abnormal trades during those two minutes, confiscated the VIA deposited by hackers, and no money was lost. Afterwards, Binance offered a 250,000 USD bounty and set aside 10 million USD specifically for future hacker bounties.
The incident in July the same year was not strictly a hack. Several API accounts traded abnormally, with SYS usually worth a few cents trading for 96 BTC on Binance.
Binance halted operations for about half a day, rolled back the abnormal trades, and deleted and rebuilt all API keys. It was after this incident that SAFU was introduced, allocating 10% of trading fees into a cold wallet to protect users.
On May 7, 2019, there was a real theft.
Hackers used phishing and trojans to obtain a batch of user API keys and Google verification codes. Then a transaction withdrew 7,074 BTC from Binance's hot wallet, worth about 40 million USD at the time. This hot wallet only held 2% of Binance's BTC. Binance immediately said SAFU would cover the full loss, so users would not lose funds, then suspended deposits and withdrawals for a week, updating API, two-factor authentication, and withdrawal reviews.
There was a side story. CZ once considered asking miners to roll back the Bitcoin chain to reverse the transfer, but was heavily criticized. The next day he said he would not do it and apologized, saying it would set a very bad precedent for Bitcoin.
In August the same year, there was a ransom demand.
Someone held 10,000 suspected Binance user KYC photos and demanded 300 BTC to keep quiet. Binance refused, saying the photos leaked during outsourced reviews in 2018. Instead, they offered a 25 BTC bounty to find the culprit.
In October 2022, the incident involved the BNB Chain.
Hackers forged cross-chain bridge verification and minted 2 million BNB out of thin air, worth about 570 million USD at the time. Binance had the validator nodes shut down the entire chain for about 8 hours. Hackers only managed to transfer out over 100 million USD, leaving over 400 million stuck on the chain. Later, the BNB Chain hard-forked to fix the bridge, but a public chain that can be stopped at will was heavily criticized.
Around Christmas 2025, Binance's Trust Wallet was hit.
Version 2.68 of the browser extension was injected with malicious code, stealing about 7 million USD from over 2,500 wallets. CZ said they would fully compensate, and the claims channel opened two days later.
From these incidents, Binance's pattern is clear.
They stop operations first, reverse any reversible trades, cover losses themselves if irreversible, and so far have never let users bear losses. The 40 million USD in 2019 was fully covered by SAFU.
Today's incident is on a completely different scale.
Estimated outflows range from 3.3 billion to over 5.5 billion USD. Tether froze over 1.5 billion USDT, Circle froze over 800 million USDC, totaling over 2.3 billion. The unfrozen portion is mainly ETH, with 195,000 receiving addresses holding over 400 million USD.
The official statement so far denies a hack, only saying user funds are completely safe. CZ said it does look like a hack, and as a shareholder he expects users to be fully covered. Reports also say He Yi has confirmed withdrawal suspensions.
SAFU was fully converted to BTC in February this year, about 15,000 BTC worth 1 billion USD at the time. Frozen stablecoins might still be recoverable; the real gap depends on how much of the unfrozen portion is lost. If it exceeds SAFU, Binance will have to use its own funds.
I think Binance can afford to compensate, and users probably won't lose out this time. What concerns me more is who signed off on the hot wallet's 7,702 BTC delegation. Without clarifying this, even if withdrawals resume, users won't feel secure.Disaster! A black swan event at 4 AM caused $1.1 billion in liquidations across the network
The hot wallet of the largest exchange was hacked, involving $5.87 billion, with about $3 billion frozen urgently;
The hacker converted most tokens to ETH and consolidated them, also involving 18,000 $BTC worth $1.45 billion.
Short-term panic, but the exchange's strength is enough to cover this loss. The stolen funds only account for 1.6% of total assets. Last year, byb was hacked for $1.5 billion. They survived even when it accounted for 9%-10% of total assets.
You can take advantage of this dip to accumulate some spot holdings.
Yesterday's PCE data was 3.1%, causing the market's expectations for a December rate hike to rise #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高
This time, long liquidations reached $930 million, with long leverage on contracts fully liquidated and not yet recovered. There are sporadic liquidation points below 76,450.
The short pain point is 79,628; it's a bit difficult to liquidate shorts in the short term. Wait for the Binance incident to stabilize. Such events are usually most panic-inducing in the first three days.
Technically, BTC's price has reached the daily EMA200 at 76,700. Short-term and mid-to-early stage moving averages are in a death cross, diverging downward, with the death cross point at 80,500;
During the downward divergence of short-term moving averages, the price faces resistance. Pay attention to 75,000 in the next three days. This price is about to return to MicroStrategy's cost basis. If I were to write it as a strategy, I would set a rule: if multiple wallets open positions in the same direction within a short period, add them to a watchlist but do not trigger a buy directly. After self-learning quantitative trading, the habit I most want to break is automatically translating "someone else is doing it" into "this is more reliable." 🤖
This time, two traders opened long $BTC positions within a short time, with a combined nominal value of about $373,200. One used 20x leverage, the other 40x leverage. We only know they entered the market; it’s still unknown whether this directional judgment will pay off.
The advantage of this rule is that it can filter behaviors worth tracking, but I think two openings don’t yet count as two independent pieces of evidence. The data can’t confirm whether the wallets are related; if they are driven by the same decision-making, the reference value of "multiple people in agreement" should be discounted.
Another loophole lies in the position structure: the 40x leveraged position accounts for about 73% of the total nominal position, so this consistency actually leans toward high leverage. Roughly calculating by the inverse of leverage, a reverse fluctuation of about 2.5% could erode the corresponding initial margin. Actual liquidation is also affected by margin modes and other factors, so it can’t be equated directly.
Therefore, I prefer to treat same-direction openings as a starting point for research, not as a directional answer. Next, I want to observe whether this consistency continues and remind myself not to mechanically count two wallets as two votes in favor. Binance Security Incident: Can the Market Stop Falling? It Depends on Liquidity Recovery?
Binance officially estimates that affected assets amount to about $6.3 billion, with approximately $3 billion frozen, and has promised to cover the losses. Freezing does not equal recovery, and compensation promises do not immediately restore market confidence.
My judgment: In the short term, the market may be affected through three paths—attackers cashing out causing selling pressure, risk aversion reducing positions and leverage liquidations amplifying volatility, and suspension of deposits and withdrawals affecting cross-platform fund allocation.
Key points to watch next: when deposits and withdrawals will resume, whether net outflows will continue after resumption, and whether bid-ask spreads and order book depth improve.
If compensation arrangements are clear, deposits and withdrawals resume, and liquidity stabilizes, panic discounts are likely to narrow; if abnormal transfers continue or funds keep flowing out, any rebound may remain fragile. #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 ✅ Data Overview
The US core PCE for September rose year-on-year to 3.1%, up from 3.0% previously, with a month-on-month increase of +0.3%; the overall PCE year-on-year reached 3.6%. Core PCE is the inflation indicator most closely watched by the Federal Reserve. This rebound in data indicates that medium- to long-term inflation stickiness is rising again, with a significant gap remaining from the 2% target. Energy prices have been pushed up by geopolitical factors, combined with the resilience of service sector prices, jointly driving the reading higher.
✅ Why the rate hike expectations are heating up
1. Inflation has reversed upward, breaking the expectation of a continuous decline. Hawkish members have stronger reasons to support continued tightening; previously, some FOMC voters advocated for an immediate rate hike, and internal divisions already exist.
2. The US economy and employment show strong resilience, with no clear signs of recession, giving the Federal Reserve room to continue raising rates without excessive concern about a hard landing risk for now.
3. The market quickly repriced, raising the probability of a rate hike in December; "higher rates maintained longer" has become the main trading logic in the market.
✅ Factors restraining further rate hikes
1. The lagging effects of high interest rates are still unfolding; risks in commercial real estate and small- to medium-sized bank debts have not yet been cleared. Continuing to raise rates could trigger tail-end financial risks, so the Federal Reserve will remain cautious.
2. A single-month inflation rebound cannot be directly defined as a long-term trend; final decisions still depend on data, with upcoming nonfarm payrolls, CPI, and other data influencing the ultimate choice.

#美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高 $HYPE, will the US-compliant perpetual market bring token value to HYPE? ICE and Trade[XYZ] announced plans to launch a Hyperliquid-based perpetual market, but it still requires regulatory approval and will adopt independent market, clearing, and compliance systems. The brand and liquidity may increase ecosystem attention, but cannot directly infer HYPE token revenue. If, after official launch, trading volume, fee distribution, and token mechanisms are verifiably disclosed, value capture will be established; if the product and token economy are isolated, it should be regarded as ecosystem exposure rather than a cash flow benefit. The dividend path leads to a death spiral, while no dividends turn governance into air: discussing the deadlock of veteran DEX tokens
In the DeFi space, DEXs are the most core infrastructure. But looking at the secondary market tokens, veteran spot DEXs represented by $UNI and $SUSHI still haven't figured out a viable token model. One seems to be a leader, the other marginalized, yet their token outcomes converge.
Back in the day, SUSHI implemented xSUSHI to split trading fee dividends, but there was a fatal flaw underneath: to maintain liquidity pool depth, massive token issuance was required to subsidize mining. Daily mining, withdrawals, sales, and selling pressure were too much for the meager fee buybacks to absorb. Increased competition led to declining trading volume, dividends shrank directly triggering capital withdrawal and price crashes, making dividends an accelerator of collapse.
UNI, which resolutely refuses dividends, is equally awkward. Uniswap monopolized on-chain order routing, becoming an irreplaceable utility like water, electricity, and gas, but the prosperity has nothing to do with token holders. To avoid regulatory risks, the fee switch has been locked for years, with all underlying fees going to market makers and the front-end cut going to commercial companies. Token holders only have interest-free governance rights, and valuations continue to slide in bear markets.
Tokens relying on dividends for support are devoured by inflation, while those surviving on monopoly are disconnected from commercial profits. Until tokens can legally capture protocol net profits, blindly believing in the long-term value of veteran DEXs is mostly wishful thinking. Are you still willing to hold onto that faith? From National Day until now, I've been adjusting up and down all the way, and finally completed a high-altitude skydive!
At the time of writing, Bitcoin's lowest was 764, Ethereum 2172, almost automatically pocketed.$HYPE has consistently scored the highest in the algorithm signal list I screenshot yesterday, reaching as high as 71 points.
I also mentioned in my previous article that even with minor pullbacks, its score remains high in my algorithm model.
Additionally, it was the only altcoin that Cat Brother entered on the 27th.
Its certainty is still quite high compared to others.
Today, news came out that ICE (the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange) has reached an agreement with Trade[XYZ], the largest RWA perpetual deployer on Hyperliquid.
Trade[XYZ] and Hyperliquid have a symbiotic relationship, splitting trading fees 50/50 → Trade[XYZ] takes half, and the other half goes to Hyperliquid (which will eventually enter the HYPE buyback/burn mechanism).
Trade[XYZ] has no native token, so funds flow into $HYPE.
Also, Elysium (Kinetiq's L2), which I have been following for a long time, will launch its mainnet on November 9 this year. Everyone is waiting to see if it can complement Hype's ecosystem and create more diversified retail participation opportunities. e/acc is the recent buzzword. After the close on October 29 Eastern Time, U.S. natural gas futures continued their recent weakness, with the main December contract (the new front-month) finally settling at about $2.95 per million British thermal units, down approximately 2.6% intraday to $2.8. The intraday decline once expanded to over 4%, dipping to a one-week low near $2.92, with a rebound attempt failing again.
📉 Core Decline Drivers: "Hawkish Surprise" in EIA Inventory Report and Production Recovery Combine
The most direct catalyst that day was the EIA's weekly inventory report. For the week ending October 23, natural gas inventories increased by 80 billion cubic feet, significantly above the market expectation of about 75 billion cubic feet and also higher than the previous week's 77 billion cubic feet. Total inventories rose to 3.724 trillion cubic feet, which, although still 3.8% lower than the same period last year, is about 1% above the five-year average. This report was characterized by institutions as a "bearish miss," directly confirming that inventory buffers remain ample before the heating season, weakening market pricing for tight winter supply.
Meanwhile, production quickly recovered after a brief decline. Average production across the 48 U.S. states dropped to 112.1 billion cubic feet per day but rebounded over the past week to about 113.3 billion cubic feet per day, returning to the record peak levels seen in August and September. Record oil production continues to translate into strong associated gas supply, structurally suppressing prices during winter.
🥶 The Warm Winter Narrative Remains Intact; LNG Exports Alone Cannot Support
Regarding weather forecasts, most of the U.S. is expected to remain above normal temperatures until November 13, with heating demand lower than usual expectations unchanged. This directly suppresses the core variable of winter demand, making any rebound driven by exports or short-term short covering unsustainable.
LNG exports are indeed the only effective support currently. Average flows to the nine major U.S. export terminals in October rose to 18.5 billion cubic feet per day, higher than September's 17.9 billion but still below the monthly record of 18.8 billion cubic feet per day set in April. Against the backdrop of near-peak production and inventories above average, LNG increments are insufficient to reverse the supply-demand balance direction and only serve to "limit the downside."
🔍 Technicals and Positions: "Second Bottom Test" Structure After Failed Rebound
A key detail of the day's movement is that the December contract, on its first day as the front-month, attempted a rebound but ultimately failed, closing near the intraday low. Combined with previous CFTC data showing hedge funds holding record net short positions in natural gas, this indicates that shorts have not massively exited due to short-term overselling; instead, the rebound was used to establish new short positions. Price declines accompanied by unchanged position structures represent "new short entries" rather than "short covering," meaning downward momentum continues rather than fading.
Summary: The post-close natural gas movement is another bottom test under the triple resonance of "bearish inventory report + production recovery + warm winter suppression." The strength of LNG exports is real, but facing dual pressures on supply and demand, it cannot support prices alone. Meaningful stabilization requires a substantial cooling in weather forecasts or a sustained, not temporary, production decline, neither of which has yet appeared.

⚠️ Binance's hot wallet was drained of about $6.3 billion yesterday, possibly the largest single security incident in crypto history. The official preliminary assessment suggests a DevOps engineer's laptop was compromised, allowing the attacker to submit unauthorized withdrawals. Approximately $3 billion has been frozen in cooperation with Tether, Circle, and others. Binance stated it will fully cover the losses through the SAFU fund and its own capital, ensuring user funds are safe.
$BNB dropped nearly 9% intraday, showing clear market panic. However, $OKB was relatively resilient during the same period, closing on the 29th with a slight increase of about 2-3%, performing more steadily amid the general decline of major coins. Some funds may have shifted from large exchange-related assets to other platform tokens due to risk-averse sentiment.
What really needs caution is that the phrase "user funds are safe" after a security incident should not be taken as an investment basis. Covering losses is the platform's promise, but short-term withdrawal suspensions, changes in fund flows, and market sentiment recovery all require time. $OKB's relative strength does not equal a trend reversal; it just fell less during this correction.
Is now a good time to increase holdings in $OKB?
$OKB
#BinanceHacked #OKB #CryptoSecurity #SAFU $OKB $BNBAt 4:24 AM Beijing time, a certain Anre wallet transferred out 167,500 $ETH (approximately $379 million), 1.615 billion USDT, and more than 60 other tokens, with a total value of about $2.5 billion.
CZ quickly posted on X: "This indeed looks like a hacker attack targeting Binance. User funds are safe."
He also thanked Tether and Circle, which respectively froze about $971 million and $823 million of the involved stablecoins, totaling $1.794 billion frozen.
The timing is critical.
While everyone was sound asleep, $BTC dropped to around 78,200 at its lowest.
In the past 24 hours, the entire network liquidated $1.02 billion, including $840 million in long positions—a major cleanup again.
Next, $BTC is about to close the daily candle; let's see if it can hold back. If it can't, it will be considered a breakdown.
#SecurityIncident Behind the staking of 1,453 BTC, what is Core DAO's next move?
1,453 BTC is the basic foundation of Core's current BTC staking narrative, and Core DAO has abandoned relying on retail DeFi ecosystems to break through. Its entire next-step strategy is named Bitcoin Power Grid, with the core goal shifting from "subsidizing the ecosystem through token inflation" to generating real revenue from business operations, then repurchasing CORE tokens, attempting to build a new value flywheel. ✅ The next three core implementation directions: 1. Expand BTC liquid staking LST and institutional business, continue cooperating with custodians like BitGo and Hex Trust, launch compliant BTC interest-bearing products and ETP products targeting asset management and treasury enterprises, aiming to attract large institutional BTC inflows rather than ordinary retail funds. At the same time, upgrade the dual staking mechanism, where staking CORE can earn higher BTC staking yields, strengthening the rigid demand for CORE tokens. 2. AMP asset management protocol launches structured BTC yield strategy products, charging strategy management fees as one of the protocol's income sources. 3. Flagship product SatPay, the new Bitcoin bank. This is the most critical step in the entire roadmap: users will use the liquid staking certificates corresponding to staked BTC as collateral to borrow stablecoins linked to debit cards for daily consumption; the staking-generated yields automatically repay the loan, achieving "holding BTC without moving it while still enabling daily spending." The plan is to create continuous revenue through SatPay fees to drive CORE repurchases. Book profits are not cash in hand
$BTC went up, so the financial report shows an additional book profit.
This money hasn't been sold, not a cent has been received.
What's the difference between past and present:
Coins bought at a low price in the previous cycle are now recalculated at market price.
The unrealized gain on the books comes from this, not newly earned cash.
One step further:
If the coin price falls back, this profit shrinks accordingly.
Financial report numbers follow the market, not the operations.
The holding cost hasn't changed; what changed is the measuring stick for valuation.
Unrealized gains and losses only count at the moment of sale.

#$BTC #StrategyQ3 net profit hits a record high for a single quarter, with significant contributions from digital asset income
Strategy Q3 net profit hits a new high: entirely reliant on BTC unrealized gains, share issuance dilutes faster than coin purchases
Strategy's Q3 report data is impressive but struggles to support the stock price: quarterly net profit of $19.53 billion sets a historical record, operating profit of $20.91 billion almost 100% comes from Bitcoin fair value changes; core software business revenue is only $125.4 million, down 3% year-over-year, with no fundamental growth.
After-hours stock price falls instead of rising, core concerns puncture the growth story:
- Share issuance outpaces coin purchases: holding 848,517 BTC, up 26% year-to-date, but simultaneously raised $21.2 billion through share issuance, resulting in a 3.7% decrease in BTC per share, reversing the logic of "share issuance buying coins to increase value."
- Average holding cost is $75,446, with the current price only about 2.2% higher, becoming a psychological barrier closely watched by the market.
More importantly, the company's strategy has completely shifted: from aggressive accumulation to stable cash flow — repurchasing $2.04 billion in preferred shares, hoarding $5.07 billion in cash to cover 3.4 years of interest, launching daily dividends, and having sold 430 million BTC this year to cover costs.
For BTC, the marginal buying power of the "largest bull" is weakening; the pace of tens of billions weekly purchases seen in the first half of the year is unlikely to return soon, and the market can no longer rely solely on Strategy to support the bottom.
$BTC $MSTR BTC dropped from 81,890 to 76,600, with long positions accounting for 88% of liquidations.
1. What happened? In the past 24 hours, the entire network saw $1.51 billion in liquidations, with longs making up $1.329 billion. BTC briefly fell below 77,000, hitting a six-week low, and the fear and greed index dropped to 35. The trigger was not macro data but Binance's hot wallet revealing abnormal transfers worth billions, Tether and Circle freezing about $2 billion in stablecoins, and $628 million in positions liquidated within an hour.
2. Why is this important? Long positions were heavily liquidated, but BTC spot ETFs still saw a net inflow of $135 million in a single day — the buying hasn't disappeared, just changed hands. More subtly, 7,636 BTC (about $614 million) were transferred from Binance to an unknown new wallet in the early morning, indicating funds were "relocated" during the event window, with unclear direction.
3. Which observation is more supported currently? In the short term, it looks more like a leverage cleanup driven by a security event rather than a confirmed trend reversal. Over the past 7 days, ETFs have had a net outflow overall, so a single day's inflow is not very convincing.
Next, watch one thing: whether the $614 million BTC transferred from Binance ends up on an exchange or in a cold wallet. This will tell more than whether 76,000 holds.
Do you think this is a hacker "probing" before dumping, or someone buying on panic? Let's discuss in the comments. $BTC SanDisk’s Q1 puts data center storage at the center of its growth story, with profitability adding another dimension.
For the fiscal quarter ended Oct 2, 2026, the company reported:
• Revenue: $11.031B, up 378% YoY and 23% QoQ
• GAAP net income: $8.1B
• GAAP diluted EPS: $52.60
• Non-GAAP diluted EPS: $49.51
Revenue surpassed the top of its previous $10.3B-$10.8B guidance range. Non-GAAP EPS also exceeded its $44-$46 outlook, putting the quarter in context beyond the annual growth rate.
Data center revenue reached $4.802B, up 61% QoQ, while consumer revenue fell 29%. Management attributed the data center performance to strong and growing product demand.
The contrast highlights a shifting business mix. Infrastructure demand supported overall growth even as consumer sales weakened, making the durability of data center demand an important part of the outlook.
GAAP gross margin reached 85.0%, versus 84.6% last quarter. This adds a profitability measure to the revenue story. The next phase will show how demand, pricing and product mix affect that margin as the business expands.
For Q2, SanDisk forecasts:
• Revenue: $12.2B-$12.6B.
• Non-GAAP diluted EPS: $55-$57.
All EPS figures here are on a pre-split basis. The outlook points to further growth, but remains management guidance rather than a result already delivered.
Capital returns also stood out. SanDisk repurchased approximately 3.2M shares for $5B during Q1, bringing repurchases over two quarters to 6M shares, roughly 4% of shares outstanding.
An eight-for-one stock split was also announced, with split-adjusted trading expected to begin Nov 20. The split changes per-share figures, not the value of the business by itself.
The quarter combines rapid data center growth, high margins and a stronger revenue outlook. Sustaining that performance will depend on continued demand and execution.
Can data center momentum keep powering SanDisk’s growth into Q2?
#SanDiskQ1RevenueUp378% Ethereum liquidations reached $370 million in 24 hours, with 85.7% being long positions.
1. What changed? The Binance security incident shocked the market, with hackers converting some stablecoins into ETH. ETH briefly spiked to 2174, dropping over 5% in 24 hours. The long lower wick with high volume in your screenshot is a sign of concentrated long liquidations—ETH long liquidations within 1 hour were more than three times those of BTC.
2. Why is this important? This liquidation is not a normal correction but a targeted deleveraging triggered by the security incident. Meanwhile, BlackRock transferred nearly $200 million in ETH to Coinbase in the past two days, suspected to be selling; ETH spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $21.11 million in one day, while BTC ETFs had a net inflow of $135 million in the same period. Selling pressure is on ETH, buying pressure on BTC—the funds are diverging, not exiting.
3. Which observation is more supported currently? It aligns more with a liquidity shock driven by the security incident rather than a trend reversal. The MACD formed a golden cross at a low level, indicating support after the spike, but ETF outflows continue, and the destination of BlackRock’s ETH has not been confirmed.
Next, focus on one key point: whether the ETH BlackRock transferred to Coinbase is absorbed by the market or becomes sustained selling pressure. This answer is more telling than whether 2220 holds.
Do you think this is an overreaction or someone using the incident to rotate positions? Let’s discuss in the comments. As a line-drawing enthusiast, I fear most when the lines look perfect but confirmation never comes. 📈 When encountering such trades, I look at the volume-price coordination near the entry, the position of moving averages, and whether the price can hold after a breakout retest; for exit, I check if the volume keeps up. Locking in a profit before entering is definitely a smart move.
Core Trader 14 went long on SOL with 9x leverage and has closed about 81% of the position, realizing a profit of $21,631.26. The average entry price was $94.5562, and the exit price was about $95.1501.
Looking only at this entry-exit price difference, I think leaving room for error at entry is quite important; you can't just focus on how much you made. The price difference is about 0.63%, and leverage amplifies both gains and judgment errors; closing a large portion to lock in profits doesn't mean being fully bearish. I prefer this approach of first recovering most of the risk. As for whether the entry was solid, you still need to review the chart at that time; you can't just make up reasons for the winner. My first reaction: It's like a hotpot restaurant suddenly added a lot of stools, but the pot only bubbles a little more. People have come, but don't directly translate "full house" as "everyone's here to support" 😂
Hyperliquid public market data shows that $TRX contract open interest increased from about $16.9 million to $20.02 million in 4 hours, up 18.42%; the price rose from $0.3517 to $0.3563. I'm more concerned about leverage crowding rather than treating it as purely bullish: open interest growth is significantly faster than price, new positions are not all longs; the funding rate is -0.0377%/hour, indicating shorts are paying, but paying doesn't mean immediate surrender. If open interest remains high when the price falls, I will be more cautious about deleveraging volatility, that's my speculation.
Do you judge whether this wave of new positions can hold based more on the funding rate returning to zero, or the price continuing to strengthen? Pick a seat, but don't sit in the hotpot.I bet No on "Will the Democrats control both chambers after the 2026 midterm elections?"
The Democrats are very likely to take the House, I don't dispute that. The key is the Senate. The Republicans currently hold 53 seats to 47. The Democrats need a net gain of 4 seats, and since ties are broken by the Republican Vice President, they must reach 51 seats. Of the 35 seats up for election this year, 23 are in states Trump won. The Democrats must win all in red or swing states like Alaska, Maine, North Carolina, and Ohio.
These races are not independent events; if the overall polls lean one way, they will flip together. The DDHQ model gives the Democrats only a 57% chance in the Senate, but the market prices taking both chambers at nearly 70%. I think the odds on No have value.
Next Tuesday will reveal the truth.154|Someone has already bought on-chain, am I still in time to follow?
After seeing an address make a purchase, what I want to ask first is not "whether to follow or not," but "when did this transaction happen."
The on-chain transaction time, the alert push time, and the time I actually see the message are three different points in time.
For example: someone completed a purchase ten minutes ago, and I only see the screenshot now. The price has already risen during that time, so the cost and exit space I face are different from theirs.
Moreover, a purchase record does not automatically tell me the other party’s entire plan. They might have other positions, might have hedged elsewhere, or might have already started selling.
Therefore, if I want to include this kind of information in the trading record, I would note the original transaction time, the discovery time, the counterparty’s transaction price, and roughly where the market was at the time of discovery.
This way, when reviewing, I can distinguish whether the information was helpful or if I just saw an opportunity someone else had already completed.
Transparency and openness let me see that a transaction happened, but it doesn’t mean I can replicate the same result.
When you receive an on-chain purchase alert, do you first look at the amount or the time?More buyers in the limit orders, and $SOL is still falling. That is not support. Price is sliding while open interest drains, so traders are closing positions, not building new ones. In this setup the market is waiting for a lower price, and the move usually continues down into $91-93, where the densest bids sit, about $34M. A bounce is likelier from there than from $95. Above $97 the downside case is off. BTC rebound does not equal trend reversal; currently, there are 5 risks worth noting:
📉 $81,900: Bulls must break through and hold above this level, otherwise the rebound may only be a short-term correction.
📉 $85K–118K: Concentrated trapped positions above, the pressure from unlocking positions may limit upward space.
📊 ETF funds: Recent inflows heavily rely on IBIT, single source funding poses risks.
🐋 Selling pressure weakening: Does not mean buying is returning; the market still needs new funds to drive it.
🏦 Federal Reserve: December policy expectations remain uncertain, which may affect subsequent trends.
My view: First watch for capital inflow, then price breakout. Do not mistake a rebound for a reversal.

The leader has something to say
IREN announced its FY2027 Q1 earnings after the US market close on November 5. This company is accelerating its shift from Bitcoin mining to AI cloud services, with GPU cluster deployment and data center delivery as the core focus. The earnings report will emphasize the progress of computing power delivery, AI cloud revenue growth, and capital expenditures.
I believe this earnings report faces a huge "expectation gap" risk. The comments section is very accurate; IREN's valuation is already overextended. After Anthropic's exposure, the stock price surged then retreated, and without confirmed positive news, it is hard to sustain. When sentiment bottoms out, the stock price still closed down after the exposure, indicating a risk-return skewed towards risk before delivery.
This is the current dilemma of AI transformation stocks. Despite carrying the banner of AI computing power, valuations have soared to the sky, but actual delivery has not yet materialized. If the earnings report does not confirm solid revenue or if capital expenditures exceed expectations, funds will vote with their feet at any time. The transformation story sounds good, but only real cash can support the stock price.
On the market, IREN rose slightly by 0.64%, and xIREN rose slightly by 0.28%. Capital competition is very cautious.
The impact on crypto is indirect. If mining companies shift to AI computing power and this path fails or valuations are significantly corrected, it indicates that the AI hardware investment bubble is being squeezed, risk appetite will cool down accordingly, and Bitcoin will also be dragged down.
$BTC $ETH $ZEC #美国9月核心PCE升至3.1%,加息预期仍高
Core PCE rebounds to 3.1%: December rate hike expectations remain high, risk assets across the market under pressure
US September core PCE rose year-on-year to 3.1%, overall PCE reached 3.6%, both hitting a four-month high, with month-on-month increases also exceeding expectations. Coupled with Q3 GDP annualized growth of 3.4% and strong consumer spending, the dual confirmation of economic resilience and inflation stickiness has pushed the probability of a Fed rate hike in December to 75%-84%.
The market quickly priced this in: spot gold plunged 1.14% in a single day, silver dropped over 3%; the 10-year US Treasury yield held steady around 5%, and the dollar remained strong. High interest rate expectations continue to suppress non-yielding assets, with safe-haven buying completely offset by rate hike concerns.
The crypto market is simultaneously re-evaluating: BTC quickly fell from a high of $81,900, dipping as low as around $76,400; ETH dropped over 6%, with ETF net outflows of $1.32 billion this month, hourly moving averages all turning downward; SOL is tugging at the $100 mark, with $98-$100 as a key defense zone.
This is not a short-term shakeout but a macro-level recalibration. Pausing rate hikes ≠ shifting to easing; subsequent inflation and employment data will continue to influence fluctuations. The priority in operations is defense, not rushing to bottom-fish.
$BTC $ETH $SOL 153|The pool has a lot of funds, but why is it hard to execute trades at this price level?
Looking at on-chain spot data, I no longer want to judge whether it's good to buy or sell just by "how much money is in the pool." I also need to see: around the current price, how much usable liquidity is actually available.
Some trading pools allow funds to be concentrated within specified price ranges. The total funds may look substantial, but part of it might be placed far from the current price, so it can't directly provide depth for execution right now.
It's like a large warehouse with plenty of goods, but the specific item you want to buy might not be sufficiently stocked on the shelves.
Therefore, even if two pools have similar total sizes, the same trade can cause very different price impacts.
I prefer to separately record the "total size" and the "actual quote for this order." After the amount changes, you need to reassess how much you expect to receive and how much the price will be affected. You can't use a small quote to estimate a large trade execution.
This doesn't mean concentrated liquidity is bad, but when looking at the numbers, you need to understand what range they correspond to.
If the page shows a lot of funds, but as soon as you input a slightly larger amount the quote worsens significantly, would you continue to trade or first check the fund distribution? To pour some cold water first, I don't see this as an all-around positive for tokenizing stocks on-chain. Nasdaq reiterated that it does not plan to participate in trading platforms operating under the SEC's innovation exemption, while continuing to promote its own issuer-centric tokenization model. Supporting tokenization does not mean endorsing all on-chain approaches.
I am cautious for two reasons: different routes mean related platforms cannot directly use Nasdaq's actions as their endorsement; as for the claim that it discourages listed companies from adopting the OKX/ICE solution, the spokesperson declined to comment, which does not confirm the rumor. Reading the route divergence as a complete blockade, I think, is an overstatement.
Of course, the bulls might be right. If we later see issuers actually adopting it and trading demand catching up, I will admit this is not just a dispute over routes but also has incremental value. For now, I am focusing on actual implementation and won't get prematurely excited just because of the words "on-chain."Key time points in the coming week (Beijing Time)Three locks welded the door shut. Last night's data all favored the bulls: growth rate 3.4% vs. expected 3.2%; core inflation 3.1% vs. expected and previous 3.0% rise; initial jobless claims 194,000, employment stable; Eurozone rate unchanged at 2.50%, as expected. The three locks combined: economy heating up, sticky inflation, stable employment, so the easing door can't open. Within an hour, the whole network exploded with 17.87 million longs and 12.89 million shorts, 70% taking losses. BTC short squeeze at 480,000 with 140,000 longs defending 80,000, grinding down short positions; ETH peaked at 730,000 longs with 450,000 leading; ZEC 150,000 each side fighting; SOL 100,000 untouched. Position shrinkage is harshest on ZEC, don't mistake the rebound for a reversal, macro conditions haven't eased, so reduce positions on the bounce. Position pressure lightens, liquidation cools down, positions stop shrinking, watch two things: December leaves a gap, liquidation continues to decline. One thing improves to add positions, none have ground down to data surrender.
