Today's focus: The rules for stablecoins have become clearer, but ETF funds are still fluctuating. These two matters need to be viewed separately. I acknowledge the long-term development opportunities of the stablecoin business, but we cannot assume that institutional funds have stably returned just because of favorable regulations. On October 22, some ETFs experienced redemptions; the complete data has not yet been released, so no judgment on the full-day net flow can be made at this time. 1. ETF funds: After continuous inflows, fluctuations still occur. On October 21, BTC spot ETFs (exchange-traded funds) had a net inflow of about $530 million, ETH about $14.9 million, and SOL about $600,000. BTC had net inflows for three consecutive trading days from the 19th to the 21st. This time, besides IBIT, FBTC also had significant subscriptions, with funding sources more diversified than before. However, on the 22nd, disclosed funds showed redemptions; major fund data such as IBIT has not yet been fully collected, so conclusions cannot be drawn prematurely. Although ETH and SOL turned positive on the 21st, the inflow scale was not large. SOL just interrupted a continuous 12-day net outflow, but on the 22nd there was again an outflow record, so stable return flows are not yet visible. 2. The final US stablecoin rules have been announced and will take effect in January next year. The OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) released the final implementation rules of the "GENIUS Act" (US Stablecoin Act), clarifying requirements for payment stablecoin issuers, foreign issuers, and certain custodial businesses, which will take effect on January 18, 2027. Banks and payment institutions conducting related businesses now have clearer rules. But the announcement of the rules does not mean that the stablecoin supply andThe global virtual currency market is currently under overall pressure, with the market generally weakening. Influenced by better-than-expected U.S. employment data, market expectations for interest rate cuts have cooled, risk aversion sentiment has increased, mainstream and niche tokens have collectively declined, and market liquidity continues to tighten.
Bitcoin (BTC): Current price is $81,466, with a 24-hour decline of 3.96%. It has continuously fallen from around $85,000 and failed to recover the $82,000 level, showing a short-term weak trend.
Ethereum (ETH): Current price is $2,392, with a 24-hour decline of 4.32%, a larger drop than Bitcoin, losing the key $2,400 level, indicating a greater correction in risk assets.
UNI token: Current price is around $7, with a 24-hour decline of 6.82%, leading the declines in this adjustment round. Tokens in the DeFi sector are more sensitive to liquidity tightening.
Overall, this market downturn is not due to sudden negative news but mainly because strong employment data has weakened the Federal Reserve's rate cut expectations. Funds are tightening early for risk aversion, with high-risk altcoins and DeFi tokens falling much more than mainstream coins. In the short term, there is no need to stubbornly fight for support levels; focus on the policy signals from next week's Federal Reserve meeting and observe whether market rebound trading volume can effectively recover. The main things to watch for Bitcoin in the coming weeks:
November 3 U.S. Midterm Elections: The biggest political variable. If control of Congress changes, crypto legislation may stall further, prolonging regulatory uncertainty; volatility is very likely to increase significantly from the low of 1.2% before and after the election.
· Federal Reserve interest rate decision (expected next week): The key is not whether rates will be cut, but how they will be cut. If there is a "hawkish rate cut"—a cut but with signals of fewer future cuts—risk assets like Bitcoin could actually be hit.
November 11 SEC crypto ETF options decision: Approval, rejection, or initiation of a rejection process must be announced that day. Approval would be positive for institutional hedging and ETF ecosystem maturity.
CFTC new regulations brewing: On October 21, two preliminary rule notices were issued aiming to establish a federal framework for retail crypto leveraged trading; subsequent details will influence regulatory direction.
Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act: Passed the House committee, still far from enactment, but any full House vote movement in the coming weeks could stir sentiment.
Mt. Gox repayment extended again: Deadline pushed to October 31, 2027, about 34,400 BTC potential selling pressure will not be released concentratedly in the next year, a short-term negative removed.
November 5-6 Bitcoin Amsterdam: Industry conference, no direct decisions, but if it signals increased institutional allocation or positive regulatory signals, it will support mid-term sentiment.
The main short-term downside risks are the midterm elections and hawkish rate cuts; there are some marginal easings on regulatory and supply sides. Current volatility is extremely low, indicating the market is holding back, waiting for these events to unfold before choosing direction. ⚠️ The most deceptive signal in this wave of decline: the price dropped more than 3%, yet the greed index rose by 5 points.
Overnight on Black Thursday in the US stock market, the Nasdaq fell 2.6% (the largest single-day drop since the end of June), Meta's earnings beat expectations but still dropped nearly 7%, as the market fears AI is burning through cash flow. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index dropped 6.72%, Brent crude oil broke through $113, and risk assets were broadly suppressed. BTC briefly fell below 81,000, now hovering around 81,500, ETH down 4%.
Two warnings:
1. Don't treat the sharp drop in the 10-year US Treasury yield (closed yesterday at 4.952%, the largest single-day drop since March 2023) as a bullish signal to buy the dip—this time it's not a rate cut trade, but a flight-to-safety buying of government bonds.
2. The fear and greed index is still stuck at 68 in the greed zone, sentiment hasn't cleared out, so the decline usually isn't over. Bitfinex's bottom line: daily close below 81,300, then the next support is the October 15 low at 79,821.
I'm bearish in the short term: don't catch the falling knife until greed turns to fear; wait for sentiment to hit rock bottom before considering left-side entries.
What do you think? Is this round a macro-driven valuation kill, or simply risk appetite collapsing due to Middle East oil prices?

The above is my personal market observation, data as of today, not investment advice; crypto assets are highly volatile, please judge independently and bear your own risk (DYOR).The recent market situation is that
it's getting harder for good news to push prices up
while bad news easily triggers declines
Any slight disturbance wipes out the gains
This is true not only for Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, and gold but also for the US stock market
A few days ago, storage chip stocks just rebounded
Last night they were smashed down again
Those who just bought at the bottom
might have taken another hit
When prices rise, AI is changing the world
When prices fall, it's like AI is going bankrupt
A few days ago, people were still shouting about storage chip price hikes
Yesterday, they all started to flee again
This is a common problem in weak markets
After a lot of declines, some will buy the dip
Short sellers might also take profits
So stock prices rebound
But if there isn't enough sustained buying afterward
prices may continue to fall after the rebound
Therefore, to judge a market reversal, you can't just look at one or two days of gains
$BTC $ETH #存储芯片股反弹,AI扩产与竞争并存 【Revenue Soars 55%, Guidance Exceeds Expectations Again, Why Is Western Digital Still Falling?】
Western Digital $WDC's earnings report is impressive: Q1 revenue reached $4.381 billion, up 55% year-over-year, with adjusted EPS of $4.64; Q2 revenue guidance midpoint hits $5.1 billion, well above the market expectation of $4.57 billion. The company also raised its quarterly dividend, yet the stock price still took a hit.
The market's concern is no longer just about how much profit can be made this quarter, but how long this storage boom can last. Western Digital's stock price had surged significantly before, so the positive news may have already been priced in; no matter how good the earnings report is, if it doesn't support a higher valuation, funds will still be taken off the table first. Before the earnings release, the stock price had already dropped about 6.4% during regular trading hours, indicating that selling pressure did not suddenly appear only after the earnings numbers came out.
This does not prove that AI storage demand has peaked, but it does remind us of one thing: earnings growth and stock price increases are never the same thing. Next, watch whether order demand, profit margins, and cash flow can continue to be realized. If subsequent earnings continue to beat expectations but the stock price remains weak, serious consideration should be given to the market compressing valuations; if the stock price stabilizes and volume picks up again, it would indicate that this round of selling may have been overdone. Last night storage stocks did not rebound: $SNDK fell even harder, and $MU's volume increase is more noteworthy
Let's be clear about the conclusion first: last night was not a rebound in storage stocks, but both stocks fell together. $MU closed down 6.26%, with a volume of 31.54 million shares, higher than the average volume shown on the page; $SNDK fell 8.51%, with a volume of about 10.02 million shares, basically tracking its average volume.
Therefore, $SNDK had the heavier decline, while $MU had broader selling participation. Simply citing “AI storage has long-term demand” does not explain this candlestick: funds are currently cooling down high valuations and crowded trades, and fundamental positives have not yet prevented profit-taking.
On the BTC side, OKX shows a 24-hour drop of about 3.18%, also under pressure, but since the US stock single-day decline is not in the same statistical window, it cannot be directly taken as evidence of funds shifting from storage stocks to crypto.
I will not call a single rebound a sector recovery. On the next trading day, first watch if $MU can hold around 849 and if $SNDK can hold near 1245; only after holding and then reclaiming their respective previous trading day’s opening areas is it worth discussing recovery. If the daily lows break again, the bottom-fishing logic should be set aside for now.
$SNDK $MU #存储芯片股反弹,AI扩产与竞争并存 Late night scanning, little change in rise or fall, the candlestick is harmless — the knives are all hidden in the positions.
Macro: Meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, silence period, the market can only guess on its own. Fear and greed are still hovering at high levels, but prices keep falling. Emotion and price are at odds; I trust the price.
Event: Institutions are settling accounts, spot ETFs have brought in over one billion USD in three days. But at this speed, based on historical experience, it can't support a sharp rebound. Money is coming in, but the momentum is insufficient.
SOL: The only one among the three major mainstreams to increase positions against the trend, yet the price follows the overall market down. Some are holding on hard, the biggest fear is another bearish candlestick.
BTC: The liquidation chart has flipped, the bright bands above the current price are more eye-catching than those below, 60% of the day's liquidations are long positions, bulls are bleeding but still adding positions.
Action: The lights above are fuel; don't rush yet, wait for the bulls to be washed out. Continue holding short positions, no adding. Positions are more honest than prices.$ETH Whale Data Observation: Combined Unrealized Loss of Long and Short Positions Around 68.18 Million U Amid Sideways Consolidation
Current ETH price is 2405.64, down -1.97%, funding rate -0.0003%. There are currently 704 whales, with a nominal long-short ratio of 30.52%, and a clear divergence between longs and shorts.
Long Whales
228 whale addresses hold 322.67M USDT, with an average entry price of 2684.94, unrealized loss of 37.4644 million U, and a profit ratio of only 18.85%. Long position costs are concentrated near 2684, with the vast majority of longs at a floating loss; 2684 above forms a concentrated cost resistance zone.
Short Whales
476 whale addresses hold 1.05B USDT, with an average entry price of 2335.73, unrealized loss of 30.7146 million U, and a profit ratio of 66.38%. Shorts have a larger volume, with over 60% of positions profitable; the current price is above the short average price, so shorts are currently at a slight floating loss, which will continue to recover if the price declines.
Market Logic
The combined unrealized loss of longs and shorts is about 68.18 million U, with the sideways market putting pressure on both sides. If the 2684 resistance above is not broken, rebound space is limited; near 2335 below is the short cost anchor. In the short term, focus on the 2684 resistance and 2335 support.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 #MetaQ3营收超预期,法律费用与AI支出承压 $HYPE has basically been oscillating back and forth within a box this week 📦
Looking at the 4-hour chart, it moved between 76 and 82.5 all week. Yesterday it dropped from 82.3 down to 76.59 this morning. The overall market corrected together, with BTC and ETH both falling over 3% in 24 hours, and it didn't escape either.
But there's a detail I pay attention to: the price dropped 3.9% in 24 hours, yet open interest increased from about 1.25 million contracts to around 1.3 million, a bit over 4% more. Many are adding positions on the dip, chasing shorts. The funding rate is only 0.0076%, showing no signs of long overheating. Shorts are clustered at the bottom of the box; if they can't push it lower, they might get squeezed.
My plan:
Direction: Long (wait for a pullback, no chasing)
Entry: 76.3–76.8, around the lows of 76.07 on October 19 and this morning's 76.59
Stop loss: 75.2, if it breaks below the box bottom decisively, admit the mistake
Target 1: 79.4, the platform during yesterday's drop
Target 2: 81.8, the lower edge of the box top
At target 1, I'll exit half and move the stop loss to breakeven on the rest. If it goes straight up without a pullback, I won't chase; missing out is fine. If the 4-hour close breaks below 76, the plan is void; if the box breaks, I'll change strategy and won't stubbornly hold.
Risk-reward ratio is about 2:1, position size small to withstand the back-and-forth swings.

#HYPE #ContractStrategy #Altcoins#SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? Many people previously said that the mass production of HBM4 meant the good news was all out, but Hynix just started small batch deliveries in Q2, achieving a quarterly profit of over 60 trillion KRW with a profit margin of 76%. This hardly looks like the good news has been exhausted; clearly, a new profit cycle is just beginning. Now in Q3, HBM4 capacity is officially ramping up, and contract prices for regular DRAM are still rising. Both sides' performance is improving. The small shipment fluctuations from Nvidia's new cards before are no match for the big trend of profits surging to new highs again.#GENIUS Act detailed rules released, stablecoin reward restrictions adjusted The US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency recently issued the final stablecoin rules of the "GENIUS Act." Although they won't take effect until 2027, the details have already caused a stir on Wall Street. What's the core? The rules remain the same: issuers are not allowed to pay interest directly to holders. However, the most critical reversal is this: they have removed the presumption of violation against third parties (such as exchanges) conducting reward programs. Simply put, in the future, if you hold stablecoins, issuers cannot pay you interest, but if you hold stablecoins on an exchange and the platform runs promotions to reward you, the compliance loophole is effectively opened. Once this news broke, the American Bankers Association immediately opposed it, fearing that people would move their money into stablecoins to earn rewards, causing a massive outflow of bank deposits; but Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen fully supported it, believing it would promote innovation. Looking at the market, USDT and USDC prices remain steady, with fluctuations less than 0.1%, showing the market is not worried at all. My personal view is that this is a vivid "interest game." Regulators appear to be regulating the market on the surface, but in fact, they are dividing territory between the crypto world and traditional banks. Prohibiting issuers from paying interest directly is to protect the traditional banks' deposit base and prevent systemic risk; while allowing third-party rewards is to give crypto platforms a lifeline. In short, regulators also fear killing innovation. These Wall Street old money and crypto new elites will have some disputes ahead. What impact? In the short term, almost no effect on the major marketKorean stocks rebound, Bitcoin consolidates; the surface rhythms differ, but the underlying logic points to the same word: caution.
The Korea Composite Index pulled back from an intraday low of 5305.98 to around 5449, driven primarily by bottom-fishing funds after the previous day's sharp drop, combined with strong semiconductor export data and expectations of recovery in AI chip demand. Heavyweights like Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix led the rebound, lifting the index. However, it is important to recognize that this rebound occurred after KOSPI's nearly 4% plunge the previous trading day, essentially representing an oversold correction rather than a trend reversal. Trading volume did not significantly increase, indicating limited willingness among investors to chase higher prices. The sustainability of the rebound depends on whether subsequent chip export data can continue to confirm the recovery.
On the Bitcoin side, the price is consolidating around $81,000. While it appears calm, there are underlying currents. The $80,000 level is viewed by the market as a core support zone corresponding to institutional holding costs. However, the single-day net inflow into Bitcoin spot ETFs has plummeted from $526.7 million to $23.2 million, a decline of 95.6%. The rapid weakening of capital inflow momentum indicates that ahead of macro event windows, institutions have chosen to wait rather than increase positions. The consolidation at $81,000 represents a brief equilibrium as bulls and bears await signals.
$BTC $xKORU #SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? ⚠️ $ETH Currently, there are two divergences that need to be analyzed in this market
First, ETF marginal improvement but monthly outflow remains unchanged. Ethereum ETF daily inflow is about $14–15 million, ending the previous five consecutive days of outflows. However, the cumulative net outflow in October still reaches approximately $1.07 billion, and the daily inflow magnitude is insufficient to offset the monthly-level capital withdrawal pressure.
Second, technicals are bearish vs. sentiment not extreme. RSI around 35.7 is close to oversold, MACD bars remain in positive territory, forming a slight bullish divergence with the new price lows, indicating downward momentum is weakening rather than accelerating; the Fear & Greed Index at 50 is neutral, lacking panic selling conditions to drive a deep drop. This makes the battle around 2,360 more likely to be a repeated test rather than a one-time breakdown.
---
In summary: ETH short-term structure has turned bearish, 2,400 is the first ceiling for a rebound, 2,360 is the baseline for whether the downward structure accelerates; before the daily close recovers 2,440, it is advisable to adopt a defensive mindset. If 2,360 is broken by the daily close, the next target points to 2,300 and the liquidation concentration area below.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? #ETF买盘持续回流,BTC为何仍未走强? As "silver to Bitcoin's gold," Litecoin's value anchoring logic appears increasingly fragile after the halving cycle. The price at $58.69 has fallen 5.54% from the daily high of $62.20, with a market cap of $4.56 billion against a daily trading volume of $57.1 million, resulting in a liquidity ratio as high as 798 — meaning even medium-sized single orders can trigger significant price impact. The four-year halving dividend was fully realized in 2023, and currently, lacking new narrative support, LTC has largely become a passive amplifier of Bitcoin's beta coefficient.
Complete silence on the social front (zero heat, zero sentiment) reflects the marginalization of market consensus: the established payment narrative has lost incremental space under stablecoin penetration, and the MimbleWimble privacy upgrade has failed to spark interest. Smart money is net short with zero holdings, revealing professional investors' doubts about the "digital silver" positioning — under the dual pressure of compliant stablecoins and the Lightning Network, LTC's moat in the payment sector is narrowing.
Technically, the $58-$62 range has been in place for several weeks, with the lower boundary at $58.11 soon to be tested. If breached, it will open a downward space toward the psychological $50 level. Core judgment: fundamentals lack positive catalysts, short-term movement will follow Bitcoin's fluctuations, and mid-to-long term requires finding differentiated narratives (such as RWA settlement, institutional-grade payment clearing) to reshape valuation logic.【NVIDIA and Tesla Invest $2.8 Billion, Is the AI Chip Supply Chain Stuck Again?】
NVIDIA $NVDA and Tesla $TSLA are reported to invest a total of $2.8 billion in Samsung $SAMSUNG Electro-Mechanics to expand advanced chip packaging substrate production lines in South Korea. To clarify: NVIDIA has officially announced cooperation with Samsung Electro-Mechanics, but the specific investment amounts for both companies come from Korean media reports, and Tesla's part cannot yet be considered officially confirmed.
This money targets FC-BGA packaging substrates. As AI chips become increasingly complex, the precision, size, and production capacity of substrates are raising the technical barriers. NVIDIA plans to collaborate with Samsung Electro-Mechanics and other suppliers to increase related substrate production capacity to 2.5 times the current level over the next three years. The willingness of these giants to invest upfront to lock in capacity indicates that the bottleneck in AI infrastructure expansion has extended from chip design to the manufacturing stage.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics secures long-term orders and reduces expansion capital pressure, while NVIDIA can stabilize its supply; if Tesla's investment and orders materialize, there will be additional demand from autonomous driving and humanoid robots. But don't rush to see this as immediate revenue realization: production line construction, yield ramp-up, and actual shipments all take time. The key to watch next is whether orders can convert into revenue and profit, not just how much the giants are willing to invest.According to foreign media reports, a16z plans to rename its crypto investment division a16z Crypto to a16z Frontier, expanding its investment scope from the crypto sector further into frontier technologies such as AI and automation. Meanwhile, Ali Yahya, a core member of a16z Crypto, plans to leave to start his own venture. These two events combined have quickly drawn attention in the crypto community. As one of Silicon Valley's most influential venture capital firms, a16z has been a major driver in the crypto industry. From Coinbase to Uniswap, and the Solana ecosystem, it has invested in many well-known projects in the industry. Therefore, when such a long-term backer of Crypto begins to downplay the crypto label, the market inevitably raises questions: Could it be that even top-tier venture capitalists are losing faith in the crypto industry? Especially given the recent poor market performance and already low market sentiment, this news is easily interpreted as a signal of industry decline. $BTC However, judging that a16z is abandoning the crypto industry based solely on a name change and a partner's departure is clearly premature. In fact, the investment environment in the crypto industry has indeed changed. In 2022, a16z Crypto raised $4.5 billion for its fourth fund, while this year's fifth fund is $2.2 billion, significantly lower than the previous one. Although fund size does not directly represent the institution's view of the industry, it at least indicates that after the last bull market, capital is no longer as aggressive as before. In recent years#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数?
The FOMC meeting is scheduled for October 27-28. The market widely expects no rate hike this time (a pause), maintaining the 3.75%-4.00% range. There was a rate hike in September, inflation is still around 3.7%, and the dot plot suggests a possible hike by year-end, so this is likely just a breather, not a pivot.
The impact on crypto isn't that direct:
A pause in rate hikes is generally positive, at least the dollar liquidity won't tighten immediately, reducing some selling pressure on risk assets like $BTC. But the market has already priced in this pause; the real focus is on the statement wording and what Powell (now Warsh) says about December. If the tone remains hawkish, implying more hikes ahead, this pause won't help much and pressure may continue.
Looking at the market, BTC just dropped from around 84,900 and is now hovering near 81,500, already digesting high-level selling pressure plus macro sentiment. If the pause happens, it might open a short-term rebound window, but whether it can hold above 82,000 depends on volume and ETF inflows. If it's just a verbal pause with a still-tight path, this will just continue the range-bound volatility.
In short, the pause means "less of a hit" for crypto, not "an immediate rise." The real direction depends on upcoming data and capital willingness, so don't go all in just based on the news. For now, watch closely and wait for the meeting outcome before deciding.
$ETH #Robinhood交易业务增长能否延续? Robinhood chain reaches a turning point in popularity: on-chain transactions and active addresses have significantly declined month-over-month, and the short-term speculative rally driven by early Meme coins is fading. Interestingly, DeFi locked value and stablecoin supply have risen against the trend, indicating that funds have not massively withdrawn but have shifted from high-frequency speculation to a more settled, passive state. Sustaining high growth in short-term trading business is difficult; the ecosystem is entering a deflation verification phase. Whether business growth can continue no longer depends on short-term transaction volume but on whether the ecosystem can cultivate real demand and break free from purely speculation-driven dynamics. You think you're looking at K-line charts, but actually you're watching the mood in the Middle East. This morning BTC is about $81,000, down 4.2% in 24 hours. ETH is about $2,380, down 4.6%. The total crypto market cap is about $2.83 trillion. Yesterday it even touched $85,000, but it returned to the original level overnight. Both bulls and bears got slapped in the face. At the same time, the CSI 300 index has dropped about 20% from its high, entering a technical bear market. Hong Kong and Korean stocks also fell together. The above data is from around 7 a.m. this morning, with slight variations across platforms. What's the main switch? Brent crude oil has risen above $111. Supply was cut off at Iran's Kharg terminal. When oil prices rise, inflation worries return. September CPI was 3.7%. The 10-year US Treasury yield once hit 5.35%. The Federal Reserve meets on October 28. The market predicts a high probability of no change, but a 70% chance of a rate hike in December. What the market fears is not this time, but the next. It's like dating: what you fear is not that they lose their temper today, but whether they'll lose it even more next month. My observations: First, this round is not a problem with crypto itself, but risk assets collectively being suppressed by macro factors. Don't rush to blame the project teams. Second, while crypto is falling, on-chain US Treasuries are moving forward. BlackRock's BUIDL scale is about $2.17 billion, with a 7-day yield of 3.71%. Looking at the medium to long term, I am bullish on Robinhood's business expansion but remain cautious about the short-term stock price performance following the Q3 earnings report.
I believe the market may be underestimating the transformation of Robinhood's business model. It is evolving from an internet broker heavily reliant on retail trading sentiment into a comprehensive financial platform integrating stocks, options, crypto assets, prediction markets, and wealth management.
Q2 revenue grew 32% year-over-year, but what is more noteworthy is the revenue structure: prediction markets contributed $156 million in revenue, while cryptocurrency trading revenue declined 38% year-over-year. This indicates Robinhood has achieved a certain level of business diversification but has not yet escaped the influence of capital market cycles.
August data shows stock trading volume increased 68% year-over-year, options volume grew 50%, but cryptocurrency trading volume still declined 38% year-over-year. This means the platform's overall activity remains resilient, yet growth exhibits clear structural differentiation.
My outlook for Q3 is somewhat positive, but I do not believe that earnings growth will necessarily drive the stock price higher. The core focus is on three points: whether net inflows can be sustained, whether prediction markets can maintain high growth, and whether new businesses can truly improve profitability quality.
Long-term valuation is determined by client asset retention and profitability, while short-term stock price is driven by expectation gaps. If Q3 merely fulfills the market's existing optimistic expectations, even a strong earnings report may not provide significant upward stock price momentum. $BEAT vs $HBAR : Bears Dominate, But Buyers Are Fighting Back
Both assets are falling, with profitable shorts controlling the market.
BEAT shows an interesting divergence. Despite heavy bearish positioning, fresh buying is four times stronger than selling, suggesting a possible recovery attempt.
HBAR looks weaker. Shorts remain profitable, while bulls face significant losses and selling pressure persists.
My view: BEAT has stronger short-term rebound potential, while HBAR remains bearish. $ATOM Why ATOM has slightly risen: underlying logic
Negative factors have been fully absorbed, sentiment is recovering: The negative sentiment that suppressed ATOM recently, such as the "former core team leaving (to Celestia)" and the "Neutron hacking incident," has been digested by the market. The multi-signature proposal to recover Neutron's funds is progressing, and the validators' emergency response capability has gained partial financial recognition.
Marginal improvement in inflation expectations: As the staking rate gradually approaches the 67% target, along with the proposal to cancel Osmosis inflation and switch to revenue buyback and burn advancing, the market's panic over "ATOM infinite inflation" has eased.
Technical oversold rebound: Previously, the price found strong support near $1.60 (SMA 50 moving average), short-selling momentum has weakened, and capital is beginning to attempt buying at low levels.
#特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 After reviewing the Q3 2026 earnings reports, my feeling is:
On the US stock side, TSMC and ASML have firmly confirmed AI demand, and the chip shortage continues; this sector has the strongest fundamentals. But Netflix's growth is starting to slow, and although Meta's revenue is strong, it is aggressively spending on building AI, with profits pressured by legal fees and capital expenditures—indicating that tech giants have officially moved from the profit-making phase to the burn-money-for-future phase ✊
💫 The A-share market is even more extreme. ChangXin Memory has pushed the DRAM cycle to the extreme, with net profit forecasts for the first three quarters soaring above 130 billion yuan, representing the most satisfying realization of a boom; CATL's volume is still surging, and energy storage is also strong, but profit growth is dropping quickly, indicating that price wars and cost pressures are already hurting profits.
From an investor's perspective on the upcoming trends, I personally think:
1. The semiconductor memory chain (especially DRAM) currently has the clearest logic, with both volume and price rising, and no short-term inflection point in sight.
2. US tech stocks will focus more on spending efficiency going forward; next week's spending guidance from Google, Microsoft, and Amazon is critical. If they continue to ramp up spending wildly without clear returns, valuations will come under pressure.
3. Profit elasticity in consumer and some new energy sectors is declining; the market will continue to differentiate, and growth cannot be viewed broadly anymore. One must select targets with real pricing power or those still in an uptrend.
In short: AI hardware remains highly prosperous, while software and some consumer sectors are beginning to diverge. The upcoming market is likely not a broad rally but a continuation of the strong getting stronger and the weak being eliminated.
$SNDK $MU This round of adjustment is no longer just an issue within the crypto circle; the sell-off in US tech stocks, macroeconomic pressures, and selling in the crypto market are resonating.
BTC's rebound failed, US tech stocks plunged, and ETF buying temporarily couldn't reverse the trend.
At the close of US markets on October 22, the Nasdaq fell 2.6%, the S&P 500 dropped 1.21%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged about 6.7%. Tech stocks were the main targets of selling, and risk assets were generally under pressure.
Regarding funds, from October 19 to 21, BTC spot ETFs saw net inflows for three consecutive days totaling about $1.075 billion, with a single-day inflow of about $525 million on the 21st. Institutional buying is still present, but BTC fell to around $81,000, indicating that selling pressure from other market channels is enough to offset the demand brought by ETFs.
BTC previously rebounded to above $84,000 but was resisted; currently, $81,800 to $82,300 is short-term resistance, and $80,000 is a key support level to watch below. ETH weakened in sync, with key support at $2,350; if broken, it may further test $2,300.
From the current market structure, the earlier rebound has not changed the short-term weakness, and ETF inflows have yet to stabilize prices. My judgment is that this round of adjustment may not be over yet; over the weekend, focus on the risk of BTC testing $80,000 again and ETH continuing to follow down.BTC spot ETF has had net inflows for several consecutive days, yet the market feels like it's being held down, with rebounds feeling weak and soft 😐. Don't rush to translate "inflows" directly as "takeoff".
The reason is simple: institutions are slowly accumulating, but as soon as the price starts to rise, whales, positions breaking even, and profit-taking veterans sell accordingly. The buying pressure is offset by selling pressure, so the price can only move sideways. It's like adding water while opening a drain at the same time; naturally, the water level won't rise 💧.
Macro factors are also holding it back: the Federal Reserve's rate decision window is approaching, Middle East news can disrupt at any time, so funds prefer to buy low and position cautiously rather than pull sharply. This round by institutions looks more like laying the foundation, not igniting a fire 🔥.

So don't be brainwashed by ETF inflows. It indicates that selling pressure is not out of control and bottom risk is slightly reduced, but it doesn't mean a big rally is coming immediately. Going forward, watch two things: whether ETFs can maintain net inflows; and whether the chips waiting to be realized above are gradually digested 📉.
At this stage, don't heavily chase positions; short-term spikes are common, and with leverage, you must manage your positions carefully. ETF inflows are just an observation indicator, not a charge signal ⚠️.Aave V4 on the Base chain is currently recording demand for borrowing USDC using tokenized stocks as collateral. Holders can obtain cash without selling their stocks by directly using these assets as collateral for on-chain loans.
According to data from Coinbase Stocks Hub, during the period from September 25 to October 21, 2026:
USDC outstanding loan balance: $5 million, doubling within 7 days.
Total collateral value: $11.35 million.
The collateral portfolio is mainly concentrated in tech stocks. GOOGL, NVDA, and META together account for 77.4% of the total collateral value.
$GOOGL: $3.66 million (32.3%)
$NVDA: $3.13 million (27.6%)
$META: $1.98 million (17.5%)
TSLA: $1.01 million (8.9%)
AAPL: $750,000 (6.6%)
AMZN: $480,000 (4.2%)
MSFT: $340,000 (3.0%)
This model allows users to access funds without selling their stocks while bringing collateralized lending into the DeFi space. However, the value of collateral assets may decline with market fluctuations; if the collateralization ratio no longer meets requirements, the related loans may be subject to forced liquidation.#Robinhood交易业务增长能否延续? Today's market is witnessing a brutal divergence: oil prices are approaching $112, while global stock markets, tech stocks, gold, and cryptocurrencies are all under pressure.
On October 22, Brent crude briefly rose to around $112 per barrel, with WTI nearing $100. The trigger is the renewed escalation in the Middle East: oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz were attacked, Houthi forces claimed attacks on Saudi energy facilities, and there has been no substantial progress in US-Iran diplomacy.
Other markets are clearly under pressure:
🇰🇷 South Korea's KOSPI fell about 3.5%, Japan's Nikkei index dropped about 2.7%
🇭🇰 Hang Seng Tech Index fell over 5% intraday
🇺🇸 Nasdaq 100 futures dropped about 1.8% at one point
🏅 Gold failed to act as a safe haven, with spot gold falling about 1.7%
₿ Bitcoin fell below $82,000, with risk appetite continuing to cool
What is truly worrisome is not just the geopolitical conflict, but that rising oil prices are changing the entire market's macro pricing logic.
The higher the oil price, the greater the energy costs and inflationary pressure, which limits central banks' room to cut interest rates; rising rate expectations, in turn, suppress high-valuation assets like tech stocks. Gold and cryptocurrencies do not always rise in every crisis; when liquidity pressures and dollar interest rate dynamics dominate, they can also be sold off. BTC fell 1.37% today, but ETFs have seen net inflows for five consecutive trading days. Prices are dropping, but funds are flowing in—so who is selling during this pullback? First, the news. Price side: BTC is at $83,383.1, 24h -1.37%, past week +1.17%, 20-day range from 79,775.1 to 86,994.3. Fund side: ETF's latest single-day net inflow is $30.2 million (positive for the fifth consecutive day), 5-day net inflow $211.2 million, 10-day net outflow narrowed to $72.2 million. Sentiment side: Fear & Greed Index rose from 63 to 68. Macro side: Dollar Index 101.71 (-0.02%), Gold 4,128.3 (-0.76%), S&P 500 7,757.17 (+0.58%). Next, looking at fund impact. Funds are still flowing in during the pullback, indicating selling pressure comes from "short-term profit-taking" rather than "allocation funds withdrawing." These two types of funds are fundamentally different: short-term funds come and go quickly, not affecting the mid-term trend; allocation funds, once they turn, change the trend. Today's data shows allocation funds not only haven't left but are increasing positions. Implications for BTC: This is a typical "healthy pullback" pattern—price retraces, funds flow in, sentiment does not decline. Healthy pullbacks usually don't last long because they don't change holder structure. What really needs caution is the "price drops, funds also flow out, sentiment worsens" triple kill combo, which has not appeared yet. I will next watch four indicators: first, whether ETFs can continue their consecutive... [Winning the Maduro capture bet and earning $400,000, prediction markets have crossed the U.S. defense red line]
Prediction markets are in serious trouble this time. U.S. Secretary of Defense Hegseth has ordered Pentagon personnel to be banned from betting using non-public military information, including information that is not classified but has not yet been made public. One trigger was that a U.S. soldier was accused of profiting over $400,000 on Polymarket by using insider information about the Maduro capture operation; the individual has pleaded not guilty.
The most controversial point is that the bets themselves may have leaked the operation. If insiders suddenly place large bets on a military operation, even if outsiders do not know the details, they might detect anomalies from odds and transaction changes. Prediction markets originally aggregated information through prices, but now they might become a window for adversaries to observe military operations.
For Polymarket and Kalshi, regulatory pressure will continue to rise, with tighter identity verification, abnormal transaction monitoring, and restrictions on sensitive events likely. But this does not mean prediction markets will be completely banned. The real watershed is whether the platforms can prove they have the ability to intercept insider trading; if similar cases continue to occur, regulators may move from punishing individuals to restricting the markets themselves.#SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? Robinhood's recent growth is not just from US stock options; prediction markets, futures, and the AI trading assistant Cortex have brought new users and increased trading frequency. However, there are two concerns about growth: first, its trading volume is highly tied to market volatility, so if US stocks enter a narrow range, retail trading enthusiasm may decline; second, the new business (prediction markets) faces high regulatory uncertainty. The highlight is that paying customers and margin business continue to expand, as it is transforming from a pure commission platform to a comprehensive financial account, with growth sustainability depending on whether product diversification can hedge market cycles. The headline mentions BlackRock, so I first checked the press release: FINMA this time approved BIT Asset Management's BBIT, not BlackRock's.
The release clearly states this is the first ETF under Swiss law to directly invest in Bitcoin, expected to launch on SIX in November. The PR also claims it is currently the only spot Bitcoin ETF in Europe.
Many Bitcoin products in Europe are actually ETPs, which are essentially debts owed to you by the issuer. BBIT is described as a collective investment scheme, with assets separated from the company's accounts and ring-fenced for investors, allowing retail participation.
If after SIX's November launch, the product description still states it carries issuer credit risk like an ETP, I'll admit I was wrong. #贝莱德与瑞士推动比特币ETF市场扩展 Only 100U left, a desperate counterattack to multiply the position 5 times: How did I precisely snipe $ZEC using macro liquidation logic?
During this wave of $ZEC decline, I held from start to finish, with a smaller position but still multiplied it 5 times.
Looking at these two liquidation screenshots of ZEC, I breathed a long sigh of relief, basically resurrected on the spot.
From the chain liquidation and mental blank the night before last, to today multiplying my principal 5 times with the remaining 100U. This is not just a financial rescue, but also growth in trading mindset.
1. The darkest moment forced extreme calm
Last night DOOD’s consecutive liquidations drained my account to just 100U. Looking at this last spark, I became completely calm. I knew I no longer had the right to make mistakes and had to patiently wait for a "very high probability" perfect opportunity to turn things around.
2. Why specifically choose ZEC?
1. Insight from BTC heatmap: I studied the BTC liquidation heatmap over the past two days and found that a large number of short positions above had been swept out. Once the main force completes the "short squeeze" liquidity hunt, it is highly likely to reverse downward to "kill longs" and clear the long positions below.
2. Catch-up effect of high Beta altcoins: The market has risen these days, and ZEC followed $BTC and ETH with an exaggerated surge. But in fact, BTC and ETH’s gains are not extremely exaggerated, indicating ZEC accumulated a huge profit-taking pool. Once the market (BTC) leads a pullback, as a highly elastic altcoin, ZEC will inevitably face the most brutal crash. To short, you must short the weakest!
3. Precise technical resonance (entry on the right side)
With the macro logic in place, I waited for micro signals. On the 1-hour chart, ZEC gave a textbook shorting point:
· Resistance confirmation: Price surged to 1368, then retraced to around 1336, tightly suppressed by the EMA moving averages.
· Trend break: Broke below all short-term moving averages, forming a perfect bearish alignment.
· Momentum exhaustion: MACD formed a high-level death cross, and the green bars began to expand continuously, with bulls powerless to resist.
4. Desperate execution and restraint
At this perfect resonance point, I opened a 30x short at 1336.25. Because of the small principal, I needed leverage to amplify returns, but I strictly watched my stop loss. The market waterfalled as expected, taking profit at 1265. Then I caught the retracement opportunity again, added shorts at 1278.01, and perfectly harvested again at 1211.
5. Hard-earned insights
From 100U back to 500U+, what saved me was not high leverage, but:
· Cognition: Understanding the liquidation heatmap and altcoin linkage logic.
· Calmness: When down to only 100U, forcibly suppressing the impulse for revenge trading.
· Following the trend: Only shorting at resistance, never bottom-fishing against the trend.
This comeback battle with 100U truly taught me: trading is not about who earns faster, but who stays calmer in desperate situations.
Friends, do you usually look at liquidation heatmaps when trading? During market pullbacks, do you prefer to short BTC or short these highly elastic altcoins? Welcome to discuss in the comments!$AKE rebound and already want to go long? The bullish illusion above 0.031586, watch closely for a break below 0.021035, my short position is already in place, it's never too late to open a short.
AKE is currently around 0.031586, with only a 0.35% increase today, yet some are treating this small rebound as a trend reversal. Don't forget, it still dropped 3.84% in the past 7 days and has cumulatively retraced 38% over the past 30 days. The price being pulled up from the 24-hour low of 0.021035 does not mean the bottom is confirmed; such a sharp pull-up is more likely to attract chasing funds, making the "rebound equals reversal" scenario lively. It's fine to be bullish, but if you really want to go long, first ask: what supports the continuation?
What’s more concerning in the market is that the 1-hour RSI is already in overbought territory. When the price surged, the 1-hour open interest increased by 1.25%, but only 48.55% of the market's accounts are long, and the top traders' long positions by value are even lower at just 44.17%. This is not a consensus bullish view, but rather an intensifying divergence of chips during the rally. The funding rate is currently positive at 0.0061%, with the future settlement estimated at 0.0077%, meaning longs are starting to pay fees, increasing the cost and crowding of short-term chasing longs.
My view is very clear: talk bullish but don’t go long; talk bearish and definitely open shorts. If AKE cannot maintain the rebound momentum and falls back below the short-term support, the risk of retesting 0.021035 cannot be ignored; blindly bottom fishing, stubbornly holding longs, and treating every bullish candle as a lifeline are often the most common sources of losses in highly volatile small-cap coins.$XAU Trump midterm election countdown: 11 days! Could BTC and gold be approaching a new turning point? What would it mean for BTC and gold if Trump loses control of Congress? $BTC
I think we need to consider three scenarios:
① Democrats take the House, Republicans hold the Senate
Congress becomes divided, making it more difficult for Trump to push large-scale fiscal stimulus and tax policies.
② Democrats take both chambers
Trump's legislative space will be further limited; AI industry regulation, fiscal budgets, and political battles may become market focal points.
③ Republicans hold both chambers
Trump will retain greater legislative space; expectations for tax cuts, fiscal spending, and deregulation may boost some risk assets.
However, fiscal expansion could also raise inflation expectations and U.S. Treasury yields, which in turn could suppress BTC and gold.
My judgment:
What the market is really trading on may not be which party wins, but whether the election results exceed expectations and how they change U.S. Treasury yields, the dollar, and liquidity.

Currently, with a nearly 40x TTM P/E ratio, corresponding to a mature hardware company, it is already in a historically high range. The massive 5 trillion market cap has priced in growth expectations for a very long future period. Hardware innovation is weak, iPhone upgrades are conservative, foldable screens and edge AI progress lag behind competitors; the domestic high-end market continues to be impacted by domestic models, putting pressure on market share.
Earnings growth heavily depends on the support of the services business, hardware sales have a clear ceiling, gross margin remains high for a long time with limited upward elasticity, and the risk of decline is greater. The market's certainty premium on Apple is fully priced in; for the stock price to continue rising, each earnings report needs to consistently exceed expectations.
If subsequent revenue or guidance falls short of expectations, it is easy to face a Davis double kill of earnings and valuation.
I have decided to hold a short position long-term. #SK Hynix Q3 earnings report is coming, can HBM4 boost profitability? #SK海力士Q3财报在即,HBM4能否提振盈利? I don't think so Research debunking: ETF capital flow is not a leading indicator at all, it's just "chasing highs and selling lows."
DWF Labs reviewed 694 trading days since the launch of the spot BTC ETF: among 8 instances where BTC dropped 15%, 7 were accompanied by ETF net outflows; among 9 instances where BTC rose 15%, all had net inflows.
Conclusion: capital flow is a lagging confirmation of the trend, not a predictive tool—using inflows as a buy signal is equivalent to chasing the rally.
#BitcoinETF #ResearchReportThe closing price even dropped to 79.42, but after-hours earnings pushed it up to about 91. My suggestion for $RNG at this position is not to rush.

Total revenue is 676 million, up 5.9% year-over-year, also exceeding the expected 667.3 million.
Subscription revenue is 653 million, up 6.0% year-over-year, surpassing the upper guidance.
Paid AI product ARR accounts for nearly 15%, doubling year-over-year.
The company raised its full-year guidance: total revenue guidance is 2.65–2.657 billion, non-GAAP EPS 5.07–5.12, FCF 620–630 million.
During the day, it hovered near the 52-week high of 83.72, but the close still dropped 3.6%.
After hours, it once touched about 91.5, directly surpassing the previous high.
I think the numbers are really good, but the overnight gap up of about 15% has set expectations too high.
My suggestion at this position is not to rush, first see if it can hold around 90 at the open, and stand firm before deciding.
If it falls back to 83.72 or even closes near 79, this after-hours premium should be considered invalid for now.
Do you think it will hold above 90 at the open, or will it fill the gap first?

#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? There is one thing in Meta's latest earnings report that shareholders should pay more attention to than the increase in expenses: the company is preparing to establish Class C common stock without voting rights.
According to the announced arrangement, existing Class A and Class B shareholders will conditionally receive one Class C share for each share they hold. This proportional distribution itself will not change shareholders' voting rights, nor should it be understood as gaining an additional asset out of thin air.
What is truly worth pondering is what comes next. The new class of shares can be used for financing, employee compensation, and potential acquisitions, giving the company more fundraising tools while maintaining the founder-led governance structure.
I can understand why Meta needs financing flexibility. With the scale of AI investment growing, having an additional stock instrument besides cash payments is indeed useful. But from the perspective of ordinary shareholders, they should also be concerned about the future issuance scale, usage, and how their economic interests will change.
Operating and legal expenses have already complicated the financial statements, and if a new class of shares is added, investors will have even more to scrutinize.
I can be confident in Zuckerberg's judgment; however, trusting management does not mean every expense in the future requires no explanation.
If the company wants to continue large-scale investments, shareholders have the right to know where the money comes from and what the new shares are exchanged for. Especially when buying shares without voting rights, one must carefully assess how much they are willing to pay.
#MetaQ3营收超预期,法律费用与AI支出承压 In Tesla's latest earnings report, what I am more willing to continue following is the software subscription, especially whether the company can keep receiving money after the car is sold.
The company disclosed that active FSD subscriptions have reached about 1.74 million. This number makes me think that when discussing Tesla's profit recovery, we should pay more attention to the vehicles already delivered, not just how many new cars can be sold next quarter.
If existing owners continue subscribing, the company has the opportunity to generate revenue from the current fleet without relying on new deliveries to drive growth each time. If this path goes smoothly, it will help the revenue structure of the automotive business.
But the most important thing not to overlook here is subscription quality. After the active number increases, how many people stay after the trial ends, whether paying customers cancel, and the pricing and usage in different regions all affect the final revenue.
Simply multiplying the subscription number by a US monthly fee and treating it as guaranteed company revenue sounds good but can have a large margin of error.
I am somewhat optimistic about this business but would like to see disclosures on renewals and actual revenue. Users willing to try and those willing to pay year after year are separated by the test of experience.
The rebound in automotive gross margin has already given some confidence. If software revenue can also be steadily solidified, profit recovery will have another support. Rather than continuing to stuff distant robot income into the valuation, I prefer to first see whether car owners will still pay next month.
#特斯拉Q3汽车毛利率回升,自由现金流转正 After the Federal Reserve enters the quiet period, the things most likely to stir up excitement are actually those that have already been said.
A speech from last week, reappearing with a different title, can easily make people think there is a new policy signal. Now that expectations for a pause in rate hikes are quite high, the market is especially sensitive to wording, and this timing difference in information can easily affect judgment.
My attitude toward this rate decision is: don’t take “no new dissenting voices” as confirmation that the pause is certain. Officials naturally reduce public comments during the quiet period; no one stepping forward to correct the market does not mean the Fed endorses every interpretation.
The data to be released next also can’t be simply interpreted as “good means rise, bad means fall.” If the economy is too strong, it might raise concerns about continued rate hikes; if too weak, it might trigger worries about profits and demand. How prices react also depends on how much expectation has already been priced in.
The most frustrating thing is that once positions are taken, any news afterward can be interpreted as favorable to oneself. When the meeting actually happens, it turns out the market didn’t follow one’s logic at all.
These days, I prefer to first verify the original date of the news before judging whether it changes anything. Truly new information may not be much, but the emotions stirred by repeated dissemination are enough to wear people out.
#10月FOMC临近,美联储暂停加息还有哪些变数? GENIUS stablecoin rules finalized: reward restrictions loosened, but don't treat it as short-term bullish
The OCC released the final rules for the "GENIUS Act" stablecoin, effective January 2027. The core changes are twofold: issuers are still prohibited from directly paying interest; however, the previous "presumed violation" clause regarding third-party rewards has been removed. Compliant platforms offering stablecoin rewards will now undergo case-by-case review, creating compliance space for the future.
Personally, I see this as a long-term institutional positive. The American Bankers Association opposes it fearing deposit outflows, while the Bessent side supports innovation and competition. If third-party rewards gradually expand, more funds may stay on-chain, benefiting stablecoin circulation and use cases. But note, the rules won't take effect until 2027, so there is no direct short-term price stimulus. $USDT dipped slightly by 0.01%, USDC rose slightly by 0.03%, with the market reaction quite muted.
BTC still depends on macro factors: high oil prices, persistent inflation, and cautious funds ahead of the FOMC. Yesterday, 83000 was shorted all the way down, with added positions on the rebound, and today a waterfall sell-off realized profits. Support to watch below is the 80,000 level; if broken, expect deeper pullbacks; resistance above is 84000–85000. Avoid chasing rallies or panic selling; always set stop losses on your trades.

The signal released by Aave's founder this time hits the most concerned point for token holders: can the protocol's earnings continuously turn into buy pressure and deflation for AAVE?
On October 23, Stani confirmed that Aavenomics 3.0 will include buyback, staking, and burning. If these three are well designed, they can both create demand and reduce circulating supply.
AAVE buybacks have been paused since April 19, triggered by the bad debt risk caused by the rsETH cross-chain vulnerability. The DAO then proposed allocating 25,000 ETH to support DeFi United, and Mantle also proposed a credit line of up to 30,000 ETH. The protocol needs to first handle the bills left by the incident, so the use of funds naturally needs to be weighed.
What truly determines whether AAVE can enter a sustained bullish phase is how much money the new mechanism can allocate, when buybacks will resume, and whether burning is linked to protocol revenue. Currently, only the direction is clear; specific parameters and implementation timelines are yet to be confirmed. Tokenomics upgrades are a plus, but cash flow is the real foundation. Wait for the official proposal to present the budget, execution rules, and schedule before judging how strong this round of positive news really is.Can't predict ETF rises and falls? DWF Labs: Fund flows are more like a "rearview mirror" of the market!
A set of data directly shatters the illusion:
📉 Out of 8 times BTC dropped more than 15%, 7 times ETF funds had net outflows!
📈 Out of 9 times BTC rose more than 15%, ETF funds all had net inflows!
But the real key is:
• 0.54: Correlation coefficient between ETF fund flows and BTC's past 5-day performance.
• 0.03: Correlation coefficient between ETF fund flows and BTC's next 5-day performance, almost no correlation.
In other words, funds only chase in after the market rises; funds only withdraw after the market falls. ETF fund flows are more like a trend confirmation indicator, not a leading indicator.
Look at how severe the two rounds of sell-offs were:
💸 From October 2025 to February 2026: net outflow of 6.9 billion USD.
💸 Then from May to June: another outflow of 8.2 billion USD.
A total withdrawal of 15.1 billion USD in two rounds!
However, the market has also changed: the number of times BTC experiences a drawdown of more than 15% per year has dropped from about 8 times in 2021 to about 3 times per year after the ETF launch.
Conclusion: Don't take ETF net inflows as a signal of price increase, nor take net outflows directly as a bottom-fishing signal. Fund flows may just follow prices, not lead them.Justin Sun’s accumulation of $PEPE has become the week’s most instructive meme trade. The South Korean stock market has taken a sharp hit. After a 3.29% rebound on October 21, it plunged 3.52% on the 22nd, and the decline widened to 3% after the market opened on the 23rd. The previous day's gains were almost completely erased, with SK Hynix ($SKHY) and Samsung Electronics ($SAMSUNG) leading the losses again, showing the market is clearly still unsettled.
Chip demand hasn't suddenly disappeared. South Korea's semiconductor exports in the first 20 days of October rose 222.5% year-over-year, and industry data remains strong. What investors worry about is something else: with AI giants pouring so much capital expenditure, how much profit can they actually recoup in the future? When high expectations meet return anxieties, even strong earnings may not be enough to support stock prices.
What needs attention is that Hynix's 40 trillion KRW buyback plan has ended, removing a key support for the stock. The upcoming earnings report on October 28 will be a critical test: if profits and future guidance are strong enough, there’s a chance to stabilize sentiment; if positive news can’t save the stock price, this round of decline may be more than just short-term profit-taking.Overnight U.S. stock market closing trends showed severe divergence, with the Dow Jones nearly flat with a slight rise, while the Nasdaq suffered a heavy decline.
Dow Jones: +0.02%, closed at 52867.98
S&P 500: -1.21%, closed at 7663.43
Nasdaq 100 fell 2.9%, marking the largest single-day drop since June
AI chips and memory sectors were collectively sold off, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plummeting 6.72%. SpaceX dropped over 9%, AMD, SK海力士, and SanDisk fell over 8%, Meta nearly 7%, Nvidia, Broadcom, and Tesla also plunged; only Apple bucked the trend with gains. Funds fled from overvalued tech stocks, shifting to defensive consumer sectors, with Procter & Gamble, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, and other essential consumer goods surging.
The core reason behind this: during earnings season, the market began to worry that AI capital expenditures would fall short of expectations, compounded by rising oil prices causing inflation rebound pressure, leading to a concentrated valuation sell-off in growth stocks.
