$BNB
Yesterday someone in the group said Binance is done for this time. I didn't respond.
Those days were indeed scary. $6.3 billion hot wallet disappeared, BNB dropped sharply from 750 to 678, with $46 million traded that day, usually only over $10 million a day.
Four days later, now at 711. 24-hour low 704, high 718, volatility less than 2%.
On-chain funds are still moving out. Newsflash says Binance Bitcoin wallet balance has dropped for four consecutive days, down 23,000 BTC compared to before the attack, roughly $1.8 billion at current price.
So the money is less, but the coin price hasn't dropped. Contract positions of $53.8 million haven't been withdrawn, and the fee rate is still slightly positive.
My view is that the market treats this as operational risk, not credit risk. Withdrawals are not blocked, fiat channels have even added USD, so people are reluctant to run.
The first sign of real trouble is not a few points drop, but inability to withdraw.
So for BNB, I neither short nor long, just watch it digest this matter on its own.
#非农来袭,12月加息会否生变? #Binance Hacker Tracking EP01|Continuous Updates
4 days after Binance was hacked, the major funds on-chain have not moved: 1.35 billion USDT and 823 million USDC remain on the blacklist (on-chain recheck at 11/2 16:38). On 10/30, Binance stated it had verified and frozen about 3 billion USD.
ETH side: 0x8532 received 197,460.01 ETH, none has been transferred out so far.
SOL side: AffzF (marked as Binance_Hacker by Arkham) currently holds 425,182.56 SOL; Eze86 received 485,270 SOL on 11/1 and has not moved it since. On 11/1, via Relay, 838.26 SOL was exchanged for about 1.02 BTC, consolidated to bc1q8xnar and not transferred out.
Today 11/2: From 12:14 to 15:16, AffzF transferred out 35,640.78 SOL in 8 transactions, of which 35,288.25 SOL was swapped via Jupiter into 3,326,295.56 USDC, then split into small amounts and distributed to over 60 addresses. As of 16:20, no cross-chain bridge or known exchange deposits have been seen. After 16:02, AffzF lost about 5,900 SOL more; the destination is still being tracked.$BTC failed to close above the 50-week EMA but successfully closed above the 50-week MA again.
Now, the next two important levels are $78,600 and $80,000.
If it reclaims these two levels, BTC may start the next wave of rally.$SNDK
SNDK climbed from 1152 to 1198 today, now at 1185, up only 1.4% intraday.
On the day of the dump, the volume was 1.25 million contracts; now it's 170,000 contracts, one-seventh. It's the fourth day of the rebound, and volume is shrinking day by day.
There’s no shortage of news. SK Hynix and Samsung stocks are both rising, and Morgan Stanley says global data center capacity could reach 316GW by 2030, making the storage sector sound hot again.
But on the token side, contract open interest at $107 million hasn’t increased, the fee rate is 0.016%, and longs are still paying to support shorts. Stocks follow their own logic; when I buy this token, I’m buying the sentiment of the US pre-market.
Last week I chased at 1374 and cut at 1171. Looking back, cutting was right, but I didn’t have the guts to buy at 1117.
If volume doesn’t come back, I’ll just treat it as a shadow of the stock.
#非农来袭,12月加息会否生变? As the US midterm elections enter their final stretch, political momentum is shifting, and Wall Street and crypto markets are on high alert. A shift in the balance of power in Congress could radically alter the trajectory of fiscal spending, international trade/tariffs, and digital asset regulation. If control of Congress flips, here is how different asset classes and markets are likely to react first: 1. 🪙 Crypto Policy & Digital Assets (The Immediate React) Regulatory Clarity vs. Gridlo#OKX Global Asset Convenience Store
From CEX Affiliate to X Layer Cornerstone: The Absolute Scarcity of $OKB and the "On-Chain Digital Tax" Narrative
From continuous deflation to "absolute scarcity." In August 2025, OKX will permanently burn approximately 65.25 million OKB in a one-time event, locking the total supply at 21 million and removing the functions of additional issuance and manual burning. This ends the quarterly buyback and burn mechanism that lasted for years, shifting OKB's scarcity from "traffic-driven" to a rigid constraint at the contract level. Correspondingly, the narrative focus moves from relying on exchange profits to the intrinsic value of the on-chain ecosystem.
Gas is the baseline; staking and governance are the upper limits. As the only native Gas token of X Layer (OP Stack L2), OKB is the fundamental consumable for all on-chain transactions. However, the low Gas design means that simple transfer demand has limited pull on the token. Thus, OKB upgrades from a "consumable" to a quasi-access credential for on-chain production resources.
The carrier of the "on-chain digital tax," not a second BNB. OKB no longer offsets centralized trading fees on OKX; its value logic is deliberately decoupled from the CEX and fully migrated to the on-chain entry formed by X Layer and OKX Web3 Wallet. The essence of this choice is to let OKB bear the value capture of the infrastructure layer within the X Layer ecosystem—the more prosperous the ecosystem, the more rigid the demand for native resources and staking access.
Shifting from an exchange platform token to an X Layer ecosystem value anchor BTC's October decline matters, but the sharper warning is the demand backdrop: US spot ETF outflows of $643M on Oct. 30 followed four days of inflows, while the Coinbase premium has remained negative for 38 days. Miner revenue is strong, yet revenue per hashrate fell. That mismatch leaves any recovery dependent on renewed spot buying.
#BTCMarketSignalsDiverge The $HYPE project team spent 67 million USD in a single month on buybacks to support the price, but the price still dropped 22%, without even a decent rebound.
This is purely using real money to absorb the large holders' spot sell-off.
What's even more extreme is that an a16z-related address transferred over ten million USD to the market maker, and the large holders immediately dumped over a hundred million USD to cash out.
The project team's support bullets are running out fast, and there's still a massive 900 million USD unlocking ahead.
Retail investors think the project team is propping up the price, but in reality, the whales and large holders are offloading along with the support funds; this market is really just sustained by hype talk.

$HYPE
👇$LIT This is probably a rumor. The project team stated that they have negotiated with the CFTC to apply for a decentralized exchange license, and it might pass the review before $HYPE!
The key point is that the project's official Twitter has no related news. If true, an official announcement might only come after progress is made.
Today, LIT's rebound is clearly better than other coins, which may have already been reflected in the price 🚀.
#美联储官员释放加息信号,12月预期仍存分歧 Bitcoin is often said to have:
A sharp drop in September and a sharp rise in October,
Even National Day rallies, Christmas rallies, and Spring Festival rallies.
Essentially, these are cyclical patterns like carving a mark on a boat to find a sword.
Historical data does show tendencies, but they are very fragile.
It seems to have "seasonality," but statistically it is not significant.
The sample size is too small (only once a year), and the volatility is too high.
Randomly shuffling and rearranging the month labels many times
Often produces illusions like "a particular month is especially strong."
Academic research on the cryptocurrency market
Also repeatedly points out that the monthly effects in crypto are not robust.
When market structures change (spot ETFs, institutional funds,
macroeconomic interest rate environment, leverage liquidation mechanisms),
The old calendar effects naturally become distorted.
Why are these "rallies" so easily mythologized?
1. Survivorship bias + narrative demand
Market participants naturally like simple, shareable stories.
"Uptober," "Black September"
Easy to remember, easy to chant, easy to tweet, so they get reinforced repeatedly.
The truly failing years are selectively ignored.
2. Confusing correlation with causation
Past Q4 strength may just be a coincidence of overlapping
halving cycles, liquidity easing, year-end fund
reallocation, and other multiple factors,
Not because it is October that causes the rise.
3. Holiday rallies are even more so
Spring Festival, Christmas, National Day "holiday effects"
Might have had influence when liquidity was poor and participant structure was simple in early days,
But now the market is 24/7,
Global trading, dominated by institutions and algorithms.
$BTC #非農來襲,12月升息會否生變? Last night, I signaled a short position around $BTC 78000, and this time the timing was spot on. The main theme for this week remains bearish; this judgment hasn't changed. Following this logic, any rebound is an opportunity to open short positions, which at least prevents getting trapped or suffering losses. This wave of decline is not unique to crypto: gold $XAU is also plunging, and the US stock market is falling as well. In a scenario of widespread bleeding, why would crypto alone strengthen? Maintaining a bearish outlook with a target of 72000 unchanged. $ETH is also under pressure; on the macro side, #FederalReserve officials are signaling rate hikes, and December expectations remain divided, making it difficult for risk assets to have a decent rebound. What’s truly worth pondering is not just that this call was right again, but that the market is still thinking within the old framework of "crypto independent market." When $XAU and US stocks weaken simultaneously, capital is deleveraging across all assets rather than rotating between sectors. This means the sustainability of rebounds will be systemically compressed—each recovery looks more like an escape window rather than a trend reversal. The reason the short position at $BTC 78000 was effective is precisely because it conformed to this cross-market resonant downtrend, rather than betting on the strength or weakness of a single coin. $ETH’s situation illustrates this further: it lacks independent narrative support and must endure macro expectation swings. The divergence in the December rate hike path itself is a suppressive factor—the higher the uncertainty, the more capital tends to reduce positions first and then observe. In this environment, any rebound lacks follow-through buying, so the success rate of shorting naturally exceeds that of bottom-fishing. Confirming signals to watch are twofold: first, whether trading volume shrinks during rebounds; second, whether $XAU and US stocks can stop falling. If both continue to move in sync downward... After the U.S. market closes on November 2, Apple will release its new earnings report. Don’t just focus on the consensus of $113.3 billion in revenue and $1.98 EPS; there are at least three layers of noise behind the numbers.
First, look at the iPhone. Bank of America has already warned that the launch timing of the iPhone 18 and the foldable Duo are out of sync, posing a risk of overestimation in the Q4 revenue model. If hardware growth is distorted by timing differences, the apparent strength or weakness is unreliable; only by removing timing effects can true demand be seen.
Next, look at gross margin. The price increase of storage chips is no longer a distant thunder; inventory buffers and pricing power are gradually exhausted, and the pressure is passing on to Apple. Once this lifeline of gross margin is breached, valuation pressure will hurt more than a revenue miss.
The services business remains the ballast. Market expectations are for about 14% growth; it is highly profitable, supports premium valuation, and is the part of Apple’s valuation most feared to be disproven.
Finally, the first quarterly call with new CEO John Ternus. Whether the guidance for next quarter is conservative or optimistic will reset the pricing anchor for the coming quarters. Apple’s valuation is not cheap, and any flaw will be magnified. This earnings report is not simply a matter of good or bad, but a triple test of squeezing out distortions, assessing resilience, and listening to guidance.
#苹果新CEO迎来iPhone18首份成绩单 🔵 SOL slightly rises, but ETH has already taken another step
$SOL 95.8, up 0.2% in the past 24 hours. Based on the 24-hour price changes of both, priced in ETH it has dropped about 1.7%. A slight rise in itself coexists with lagging price ratio.
This recovery phase hasn't kept pace with ETH's speed, so the red board cannot be considered an equally strong upward move.
I first view it as a mild replenishment; the price has improved, but relative leadership has not appeared.
$BICO 0.01572, down 0.6% in the past 24 hours. Based on the closed daily candle, the 20-day closing average is about 0.01627, so the quote is still about 3.4% below.
The daily drop is not heavy, but the longer-term gap has not disappeared; the area above 0.016 has not been reclaimed.
I remain cautious; the recent pullback is some progress, but the longer region has not been recovered.
$MU 913.05, up 1.6% in the past 24 hours. In the eight hours after the Micron contract ended, open interest increased by about 2.9%, while price rose about 0.7% in the same period.
The scale expansion and price increase are aligned, indicating inventory changes supporting this advance.
I acknowledge the synchronization; an increase in open interest does not equal unilateral buying volume. For now, I view this phase as joint expansion of price and scale.
NEAR 4.323, down 2.3% in the past 24 hours. After pulling back from a low of 4.236, the quote is again above the previous close of 4.278, showing local continuation.
The original area near 4.4 has not been reclaimed; the longer retreat has not been fully recovered.
I give some credit for recovery; the daily drop has not fully reversed; the space already reclaimed is retained, but the higher area has not been reached yet. Just scanned through today's Web3 news, a few points worth discussing:
Follow-up on Binance's $6.3 billion hacker incident — the FBI has officially attributed it to North Korea. These guys initiated automated money laundering, and the FBI is now urging DeFi platforms like THORSwap to help intercept it. Coincidentally, THORChain just triggered an emergency pause a couple of days ago due to an Ethereum chain reorganization, shutting down many cross-chain bridge functions, unexpectedly blocking the North Korean hackers' laundering channels — a bit surreal.
On withdrawals, Binance's 15 networks have resumed, with a net outflow of $5.817 billion in the past 24 hours, while OKX saw a net inflow of $410 million in the same period. Voting with your feet really tells a story.
Another interesting data point: Titan Builder earned $22.83 million in protocol revenue in the past 24 hours, directly surpassing Tether and Circle to rank first.
DeFi security isn't peaceful either; a critical Linux kernel vulnerability was exposed, forcing Threshold to suspend tBTC minting and redemption. However, BTC reserve coverage is at 103.2%, with 135 coins remaining on the books, so no actual financial loss.
Key things to watch next week: the official voting for the US midterm elections and Binance's promised full reserve proof disclosure.
#Web3 #DeFi #BTCI was wondering why $INTC dropped so much last Friday, turns out the big players were collectively running away.
Goldman Sachs data shows hedge funds have been net selling global AI stocks for 5 consecutive trading days,
returning all the AI positions bought since early 2025, which is a collective deleveraging, not much related to one or two earnings reports.
Last Friday, $INTC fell nearly 29% in a single day,
marking the worst day since 1974.
During such deleveraging, both good and bad stock.WTI crude oil fell more than 4% intraday, breaking below $100 per barrel, while Brent simultaneously plunged nearly 4%. On the surface, this appears to be the fading geopolitical premium brought by progress in US-Iran negotiations, but a more alarming signal is hidden in Bitcoin's "counter-trend rally." Bitcoin has returned to $78,000, driven not by new capital inflows but by technical repairs and partial short covering following the Binance hack incident, with the 4-hour moving averages still clearly bearish.
Oil falling while Bitcoin rises precisely exposes the fragility of the current pricing logic: the oil decline trades on "peace expectations," not stronger demand; Bitcoin's rebound lacks macro liquidity support, and the suppression from sustained high interest rates remains unlifted. Bitcoin is essentially a high-beta risk asset, not a safe haven. Once geopolitical tensions flare up again or risk appetite tightens, this rebound lacking fundamental support is very likely to be reversed. The current market "resilience" looks more like a brief window before a long-short switch, and the odds are not in favor of chasing longs. The load redistribution of the midterm elections is like an unannounced structural reinforcement—435 House seats and 35 Senate seats simultaneously enter a stress release state, and the eccentric compression of congressional control directly determines the bending moment diagram trajectory of Trump's legislative, fiscal, and oversight agenda. Public citizen organizations timed the political donations from crypto-related companies to about $233 million by October 23; this money is not merely decorative stitching on the blueprint but steel fibers poured into the foundation to change the elastic modulus of the future regulatory framework.
In my field, a white paper is just a schematic; the real value lies in the underlying architecture and long-term scalability. Political donations are the same—they don't determine the facade effect but decide which way the load-bearing walls lean. When the reinforcement ratio of the legislative agenda is quietly adjusted by capital, the valuation model for tokenized U.S. stock targets must be re-simulated in a wind tunnel. The linkage logic of targets like $xPLTR is not in the candlestick charts but in the pouring sequence of several key shear walls on Capitol Hill: once the stirrup spacing of the fiscal oversight agenda is encrypted, the risk exposure must be recalculated; conversely, if structural over-reinforcement occurs, liquidity will flow everywhere like unset concrete.
Media citing anonymous sources say Netanyahu urged Trump to take action against Iran after the election, but neither side has confirmed this. This kind of unverified load forecast is the most dangerous—it doesn't enter the official calculation book but is enough to let the geopolitical risk factor circulate among the construction team, like a leak point on the basement exterior wall, invisible under normal conditions but oozing water under pressure. For tokenized equity targets, such tail events are accidental loads outside the design baseline period, usually not included in the portfolio but requiring a review of overall stability once they occur.
My judgment is straightforward: control of both chambers is the main load-bearing framework, crypto political donations are the foundation grouting, and geopolitical variables are the slope displacements around the site perimeter. If the construction joints among the three are not handled well, the linkage of $xPLTR is not a simple price follow but a structural system transformation—from a frame structure suddenly becoming a frame-shear structure, then a cantilever, with the entire force path changing. What truly determines whether this building can stand is not the ribbon-cutting at the opening but the acceptance records of those hidden works before the supervisor signs off. #usmidtermspolicyoutlook$SOXL SOXL Philadelphia Semiconductor dropped to the lowest point at the end of July, 10439, last Friday. Currently, SOXL is expected to rebound and recover #苹果新CEO迎来iPhone18首份成绩单 When more and more people use similar trading strategies, does the original advantage still exist?
A strategy that performed well in the past does not mean it will remain effective in the future.
An increase in participants, convergence of trading behaviors, rising slippage, and changes in market structure can all compress the original profit margins.
But a few losing trades do not prove that the strategy has failed. What truly needs to be observed are the expected returns after costs, drawdowns, execution quality, and the strategy’s adaptability to different market environments.
**Don’t just ask whether the entry signals are still valid; ask whether the profit sources behind them still exist.**
If a strategy starts to decay, would you first check trading costs or the market environment? ETH current price is 2299.55, a whale spent 62.97 million USD in five hours to buy 27,553 coins at an average price of 2286, and there was a previous base position of 37.96 million USD at an average price of 2279. This position is just about a dozen dollars below the current price, clearly liquidating and absorbing blood below the support.
I just put my thermos on the windowsill, and there's a car blocking the door outside. I'll go direct the parking in a bit.
On the chart, the price is still below the 50, 100, and 200 moving averages, the MACD green bars are shrinking, and the RSI is hovering around fifty, indicating a state where the price can't fall further. The long positions are heavily liquidated around 2280 to 2300, while the short pressure above 2300 is lighter, leaving room for a short-term rebound. But 2300 to 2320 is a strong resistance, so don't chase the highs.
In terms of trading, I lean bullish. Buy in batches on pullbacks between 2278 and 2292, set stop loss at 2262; if it breaks, admit the mistake and exit. First take profit at 2318, second at 2342, reduce half the position near 2320. The whale's cost is around 2280, so siding with it won't be a loss. Keep position size moderate and always use stop loss; the market can turn faster than flipping a page.

@OKX星球 $AAPL Apple's earnings report this time, to be honest, I'm a bit worried. The stock price has hit consecutive new highs, and personally, I don't like the stock price being too high before the earnings report, as it easily leads to sell the news scenarios, with overly high performance expectations, which can cause even good earnings to result in a price drop.
First is the sales guidance. If Apple's growth forecast isn't strong enough, or if management starts emphasizing cost pressures, the market is very likely to choose to sell off directly. Especially with storage chips continuing to rise in price, Apple's profit margins are facing new challenges. Particularly in the computer product line, now that personal demand for buying computers has been completely suppressed by prices, I'm worried the Mac line will see a serious decline. You can already see signs from INTC, but there's also another possibility: Macs are all being bought by the B2B side, researching AI, and Apple becomes a shovel stock...
A bigger issue is valuation. Apple's fiscal year 2027 expected PE ratio has already reached about 33 times. This valuation implies very optimistic growth expectations, leaving very little margin for error in Apple's earnings report...
The options market is also starting to send cautious signals. On 10/30, put volume exceeded call volume, with earnings-related options implying about ±4.3% volatility. Capital is increasing its protection against downside risk, at least indicating the market is no longer so confident.
Apple is still an excellent company, but the current stock price requires sufficiently strong future performance to support it. As a consumer electronics company, I believe hardware price increases will cause a very significant impact on Apple's business. Is Capital Rotating From Gold Into Bitcoin? History May Be Giving Us a Clue For a long time, Gold has been considered one of the safest assets during periods of economic uncertainty. According to Wu Shuo citing on-chain monitoring, Paradigm unstaked about 2.55 million HYPE tokens through 15 wallets in the past two days, valued at approximately $224 million, accounting for 18% of its total 14.26 million HYPE staked in HyperCore. This is not a liquidation, but the direction is clear: leading VCs are moving locked tokens back to freely circulating addresses to reserve space for subsequent portfolio adjustments. The real pressure depends on whether these tokens are transferred to exchanges or sold OTC. The fundamentals of HYPE remain intact; Hyperliquid's trading volume and fee income are still among the strongest in its category. Consider two scenarios: if these addresses later transfer to CEX, sell OTC, or if the overall HyperCore staking volume declines simultaneously, selling pressure may self-reinforce; if it is just one institution realizing some profits, the impact will mostly be on sentiment and liquidity. Are you more concerned about address transfer trends or changes in total staking volume? I bet No, and the underlying logic behind this judgment is not that the financial report is bad; on the contrary, the financial data is very strong.
First, the AI storage theme had already experienced a big rally before the financial report, so the positive news was largely priced in by the market, turning the good news into bad news upon realization.
Second, although the current revenue and orders are outstanding, storage is a cyclical sector.Bitcoin is around 77,200 today, basically moving sideways all day with very small volatility. This sideways movement is meaningful because it occurs on the second day after a sharp drop and under the premise that there are no new negative news from the Binance incident, indicating that the 77,000 level has real market support. However, it should be clear that the current sideways movement is fragile because it lacks volume support; it is a "no one trading" sideways rather than a "bull-bear balanI divided the stolen 6.3 billion this time into three piles: frozen stablecoins, unfrozen BTC and ETH, and user balances covered by the company's own funds.
The first pile, about 3 billion, is blocked by the issuer; the second pile is still in the hacker's address, 18,270 bitcoins neatly bundled in groups of 1,000 and untouched; the third pile is paid by the exchange itself, with the announcement stating coverage of about 95%.
Treating the third pile as if the first and second piles have been resolved would underestimate the risk. Users' accounts haven't lost money, but that doesn't mean the on-chain assets have been recovered. My judgment: the real tail risk lies in those native coins that cannot be frozen, not whether the withdrawal button is enabled or not.Is Apple becoming tech’s new safe haven? 🚨

#BTCMarketSignalsDiverge Bitcoin's last three cycle bottoms all occurred shortly after the U.S. midterm elections. 2014 → 71 days later; 2018 → 39 days later; 2022 → 13 days later. The next U.S. midterm election will be held tomorrow, November 3. If this pattern repeats, then the end of 2026 to early 2027 could be a window worth watching.
The next cycle bottom. The three examples show an interesting pattern, but they do not prove that the elections drive the cycle. How serious is Binance's risk this time? Because many big players in the crypto circle, A8A9, with assets ranging from tens of millions to over a hundred million, they all treat Binance as a bank to store their coins. Although everyone is currently saying they support Binance, at the moment withdrawals are opened, they will run faster than anyone else, immediately moving their funds into cold wallets. So the only solution for Binance now is not to delay withdrawals, but to limit withdrawal amounJust saw this set of data: the total trading volume of prediction markets in October reached $123.3 billion, with Kalshi accounting for about 80%; Polymarket's US platform had nearly $10 billion in trading volume in October, an increase of about 15% over the previous record. The numbers are huge, but as someone running a small company, I’m used to first checking the books.
My judgment is that the sector's heat has indeed risen, but the trading volume alone cannot directly prove that the business model is working. Revenue is not profit; it’s like the cash register ringing nonstop in a store—after deducting customer acquisition and operating costs, how much is left is the real return on investment.
I’m more concerned about the cash flow after the excitement. The data shows that the US midterm election market’s trading volume exceeded $1.4 billion. If users mainly come for big events, then whether they stay after the event ends and whether the customer acquisition costs can be recovered are the operational issues I would focus on. This is my speculation, not a conclusion already given by the data.
Kalshi’s roughly 80% share also indicates that this round of growth is uneven. I wouldn’t take the industry’s total volume as the opportunity for each platform directly. Doing business requires keeping a risk reserve: if trading enthusiasm declines but fixed expenses can’t be reduced, the bigger the revenue, the easier it is to overlook this account.
If you were running a prediction market platform, which risk would business-minded friends worry about more: user loss after big events end, or pushing customer acquisition costs higher and higher just to grab market share?Tomorrow is the US election, but the crypto community is waiting for a "curse" that has hit four consecutive times!
Is Bitcoin about to repeat historical patterns?
After the last four US midterm elections, Bitcoin without exception has experienced significant declines. What's even stranger is that the drop has narrowed each time, yet it has never escaped this hurdle.
Here are the data:
2010: down 72%
2014: down 65%
2018: down 52%
2022: down 27%
Looking only at the fourth quarter of election years, 2014 saw a 16.7% drop, 2018 a sharp 42.2% plunge, and 2022 a 14.8% decline. In the last four midterms, Bitcoin closed lower three times.
Even more coincidentally, the previous three cycle lows appeared 71 days, 38 days, and 13 days after election day, respectively.
Is this going to happen again?
However, after CoinDesk analyzed the data, an interesting reversal was found: what really deserves caution may not be the US midterm elections themselves, but Bitcoin's own four-year cycle.
The Nasdaq did not show a similar pattern of decline, while Bitcoin's three previous major bottoms highly coincided with its halving cycles.
In other words, the elections may just coincidentally fall within the time window of cyclical declines. What truly drives market adjustments may not be the votes, but the cycle.
So, where exactly does Bitcoin stand this year?
The current market situation is indeed far from optimistic. The market is heading into a week where macro uncertainty and leveraged positioning could make every move more aggressive.
BTC is hovering around $78.3K, ETH around $2,290, and SOL near $94.7. The liquidation picture is particularly interesting because BTC has substantial liquidity sitting on both sides.

BTC, ETH, and SOL long borrowings are simultaneously piling up, with leveraged long positions becoming increasingly crowded, while shorts are almost inactive.
When the vast majority of leveraged funds are on the long side, there is often hidden liquidation risk, making a rapid shakeout very likely.
$BTC: Long borrowings 1507 BTC, short borrowings 68.54 BTC
$ETH: Long borrowings 16,400 ETH, short borrowings 874.9 ETH
$SOL: Long borrowings 119,500 SOL, short borrowings 3430.47 SOL

#OctoberFOMCApproaching, what uncertainties remain with the Fed pausing rate hikes? $86.7259. Remember this first. Don’t rush. ⚡ This is the reference price for shorting $HYPE in this trade. Core Trader 25 used 10x leverage, with a nominal position of about $863,400.
My judgment: The key thing to watch here is the price gap, not how big the short position is. Receiving the news doesn’t mean the entry window is still open. If you see the price has already dropped a bit by the time you get the news, chasing the short means selling at a lower price in the same direction; any slight rebound afterward could wash you out first. Even if you guess the direction right, you can still get the timing wrong.
According to my short-term trading habit, I’d first see if the rebound weakens before deciding whether to test the position; exit conditions are set in advance, and if the expected continuation doesn’t appear, I’d pull out. This is my response plan, not saying the market has already moved this way. Suppose when the news hits, the price is already 1% below the reference price—would you wait for a rebound to find an entry point, or just skip this opportunity altogether? Long $HYPE with $171,600, many people at first glance would think large capital shows confidence. I, on the contrary, do not take this 10x long position as a strong bullish signal.
Think about it the other way: first, roughly calculating with leverage, the initial margin is about $17,200, so the nominal position size does not equal the actual investment; second, if the price moves 5% against you, the loss would eat up about half of the initial margin, leaving little room to withstand volatility. Those who disagree, come argue: is the nominal size of this position enough for you to ignore its leverage risk?$ETH is currently priced at 2,292.56 USDT (+1.18%), with the 4-hour MACD forming a golden cross below the zero line, red bars expanding, indicating short-term momentum recovery. However, the upside is constrained by dual resistance from the Bollinger upper band (2,298) and SUPERTREND (2,341), making the rebound difficult.
The capital flow is showing extreme divergence. Ethereum spot ETFs have seen a cumulative net outflow of about $1.6 billion in October, bleeding for five consecutive weeks, with BlackRock alone accounting for about $1.4 billion; meanwhile, on-chain whales are accumulating against the trend. On November 2, multiple addresses aggressively bought, with one whale purchasing over $34 million in a single day, and another whale buying nearly $63 million within 5 hours, with costs concentrated between 2,270-2,290. Institutional channels are withdrawing, while large off-exchange funds are stepping in.
Mid-term bullish signals are emerging on the ecosystem side. ENS v2 has officially launched on the Ethereum mainnet, and projects like Synthetix are returning to L1. With the mainnet gas limit increased and transaction costs falling, the "return to mainnet" trend is strengthening ETH's L1 value capture capability.
Key levels: The upper range of 2,298-2,341 is a strong resistance formed by overlapping moving averages and trend lines; only a breakout with volume can open up space. The lower level at 2,246 is a short-term defense line; breaking below it will test the whale cost zone. The tug-of-war between ETF outflows and whale accumulation limits the margin for chasing longs before reclaiming 2,298. The figure of 6.3 billion USD has resurfaced. This time, it’s not a hacker’s confession but an accusation from the FBI—attributing the approximately 6.3 billion USD stolen assets from Binance to North Korea. On the same day, when asked about this matter and related statements by Trump, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning responded with "no knowledge."
Three actors, three distances. The FBI is making a determination, Trump is making statements, and the Foreign Ministry says it has no knowledge. One of the largest thefts in crypto history now lives within political narratives.
Mechanically, the consequences don’t depend on who did it but on who takes responsibility. Whether an exchange can cover losses after a hack depends on reserves and insurance, not on an investigative report. The scale of 6.3 billion USD is not a small figure for the balance sheet of any single platform.
The real watershed is when a state actor is officially accused. State-sponsored hacking means no extradition, no recovery, no negotiation; the old paths for asset recovery basically fail. Such cases will increasingly resemble geopolitical incidents rather than criminal cases. $BTC and $ETH have shown no reaction; the market is pricing this as old news.
Assessment: For $BNB, this is an emotional disturbance, not a fundamental change. What matters is not what the FBI said, but whether $BNB’s spot liquidity and depth have changed.
One point to note: when "who stole it" is decided by intelligence agencies, the security narrative of exchanges shifts from a technical issue to a diplomatic one. At this level, retail investors will never get firsthand information.Today, let's look at how Bitcoin has performed historically after the midterm elections. Recently, we've seen news saying that the U.S. stock market tends to rise after midterms, so how has Bitcoin historically behaved? Previously, I wrote an article titled "Crypto Decline After Midterms," which many people disputed. First, I want to clarify that these are my subjective judgments and may not necessarily happen; it's just that we anticipate the worst outcomes and prepare accordingly. Actually, there was news recently about the crypto industry donating money to the Republican Party for votes. Why is the crypto industry investing so much to support Trump? As mentioned in the article "Crypto Decline After Midterms," partisan competition inevitably involves courting some companies for support, including financial backing. If the party comes to power, those companies benefit greatly. Similarly, the Democratic Party also courts its own companies, but if the Democrats take office, they will favor their own supporters, not the opposing party. So, I think there might be some crackdown on American crypto companies! This is a risk point. Now, let's look at how Bitcoin has performed historically after midterm elections. I believe that even if the Democrats come to power and suppress the crypto industry, Bitcoin is decentralized and can't really be suppressed. However, related companies like Musk's ventures, Circle, and Coinbase might not have an easy time. Interestingly, we know Bitcoin operates on a four-year cycle, and the U.S. midterm elections also occur every fourThe contrast is worth noting. Despite attracting approximately $1.47B in net inflows since launch, these ETFs have now recorded their largest weekly withdrawal on record.
This doesn't erase the capital that has already entered, but it does suggest that institutional demand is weakening in the near term.
One important distinction: ETF outflows don't automatically translate into equivalent spot selling. Redemptions, fund holdings and SOL price movements all influence the picture. My private messages exploded, everyone is asking Pharaoh, the US midterm elections are about to start, what does this have to do with Bitcoin? Pharaoh directly said, this is not an election, this is a reshuffle of the script for crypto regulation, both bulls and bears are waiting for this "blind box" to open. First, look at the timing: voting is on November 3 local time, with all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate up for election. Currently, the Republican Party controls both chambers but with a very slim margin, holding just one more seat in the House and a 53 to 47 majority in the Senate. The prediction market Kalshi shows the Democrats have a 90% chance of taking the House and 64% for the Senate. What does this mean for crypto? Pharaoh breaks down three scenarios for you. Scenario one (highest probability), Democrats sweep both chambers. This is the worst-case scenario for the crypto industry. The chair of the Senate Banking Committee will change to Elizabeth Warren, who is the top opponent of the CLARITY Act, holding subpoena power and will focus on scrutinizing Ripple, Coinbase, and even the bank license of World Liberty Financial supported by the Trump family. TD Cowen bluntly states that the CLARITY Act will face even greater difficulty advancing in the next two years. Scenario two, a divided Congress. Democrats take the House, Republicans hold the Senate. Tim Scott continues to lead the Banking Committee, which is overall more favorable to the industry, but bills will still face tug-of-war and compromise, so don’t expect a one-step solution. Scenario three (lowest probability), coBitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), and SOL ($SOL) currently show severe imbalances in leveraged lending data, with long positions heavily leveraging while shorts are almost absent. $BTC long buy lending reaches 1,507 BTC, while short sell lending is only 68.54 BTC; $ETH longs borrow 16,400 ETH, shorts only 874.9 ETH; $SOL longs borrow 119,500 SOL, shorts just 3,430.47 SOL. The market's one-sided betting pattern continues to intensify. Once the market slightly pulls back, the over-leveraged longs will be forced to liquidate consecutively, triggering a chain liquidation. Currently, shorts have almost no lending exposure, so there will be no short covering during a decline, lacking a buffering force, making a rapid sharp drop very likely. There is no need to rush to predict price direction now; focus on monitoring the lending ratios. If long lending rapidly contracts or short lending begins to rise significantly, it indicates that funds are starting to hedge risks. In phases of highly uniform market sentiment, one-sided leverage is hard to sustain long-term, and just one piece of news could trigger a large-scale long liquidation. $BTC $ETH $SOL🔥Don't rush to call a reversal! BTC is currently just betting on an election.
Hackers smashed the market down to 76k, after scooping up long liquidity, the weekend was spent grinding sideways. A slight midday rally, now pulling back to the 4H EMA20. Two heavy resistance levels above are tightly holding: 79170, 80450. Without a volume breakout, all rebounds can only be considered as consolidation.
The real drama is the midterm election tomorrow, which will determine the regulatory narrative going forward.
If the Democrats sweep, with about a 95% chance in the House and 70% in the Senate, the market's expectation for deregulation will cool off, and BTC will likely continue to languish in a range; only if the Republicans hold the Senate is there a chance to challenge the resistance above.
There is also a harsher looming threat: whether the conflict with Iran will escalate after the election. Once geopolitical warfare ignites, crypto will hardly remain unaffected and could trigger a sharp drop at any time.
This is not a trend-driven market, but an expectation game. It looks stable, but big pitfalls lurk on both sides.
$BTC I see this as a cooling off of bullish sentiment, not a confirmation of a downtrend. The long-short ratio of OKEx $BTC contracts dropped from 2.60 24 hours ago to 2.20, with long accounts still dominant.
I follow three rules for trends: look at price—this data can't determine direction; look at crowding—this pullback shows the bullish side isn't completely one-sided; look at funds—the number of people doesn't represent position size. Trend is the best friend; I don't rely on the number ratio to time the top. Do you use volume or open interest to verify BTC trends? Because many big players in the crypto circle, A8A9, with assets ranging from tens of millions to over a hundred million, they all treat Binance as a bank to store their coins. Although everyone is currently saying they support Binance, at the moment withdrawals are opened, they will run faster than anyone else, immediately moving their funds into cold wallets. So the only solution for Binance now is not to delay withdrawals, but to limit withdrawal amounts. However, the problem is whether limit$ETH
$1.61 billion. This is the net outflow figure for the US Ethereum spot ETF in October, the largest since its launch in July last year. The net inflow from the first three months was completely reversed in one month.
Normally, this would cause a crash. However, ETH climbed back from the low of 2247 overnight to 2288, still up (+0.8%) in 24 hours, with a high touching 2317. Coinbase premium turned negative, indicating weak buying on the US side, yet the market did not collapse.
I also checked the funding rates and positions: perpetual funding rate at 0.0049%, basically zero, neither longs nor shorts willing to pay a premium; total open interest across the network is $1.5 billion, with no liquidation of a batch of positions. In the afternoon, a whale spent $62.97 million to buy 27,500 spot tokens, and the 25x long ETH position on Machi turned from a small loss to a slight profit.
My interpretation: the ETF channel is reducing positions, but on-chain and perpetuals are not following; these two groups are not on the same side this time. As for which side is correct, we need to see if the ETF replenishes in the next few days; just looking at the price alone doesn't clarify for now.
#非农来袭,12月加息会否生变? $PEPE brothers, the market is playing a differentiation game again! Binance has resumed withdrawals, BTC and ETH both turned green, but PEPE dropped nearly 2%!
A few days ago, PEPE was surging wildly, but now no one is following up, and MEME funds are starting to diverge!
According to Reuters, Binance has resumed withdrawals of assets like BTC and ETH, using its own funds to cover about 95% of the stolen assets. Platform trust is slowly being restored, but risks have not completely disappeared.
PEPE is lively on the other side, with large sell-offs on one hand and whales buying on the other, making short-term trading very active.
$BTC: 78012, up 0.67% in 24h
Finally standing above 78000, whether it can hold is the key
$ETH: 2265, up 0.80%
A bit stronger than BTC, steadily recovering, still needs to push through the 2300 barrier
$PEPE: 0.00000494, down 1.98%
The previous strong momentum has clearly faded, 0.000005 lost, no continuous buying, MEME market can easily end in one wave
In short: BTC is trying to stabilize, ETH is slowly recovering, PEPE depends on whether funds are willing to continue supporting it.
Remember! The overall market turns green, MEME doesn’t necessarily follow, sector rotation can happen anytime!
Share your thoughts: Is this PEPE wave just a pullback and shakeout, or has MEME’s heat already cooled down?

The leader has something to say
Iran has proposed a conditional "two-day reopening plan" for the Strait of Hormuz, demanding that the US first lift the blockade, sanctions, and release frozen funds. No agreement has been reached yet; the strait's shipping volume is about half of pre-war levels, and OPEC+ is maintaining December production unchanged. Influenced by the negotiation news, oil prices fell today, with CL down 1.72% and BZ down 1.48%.
I think don't be fooled by this one-day drop. The comments section is very insightful; the market's pricing focus has shifted from "whether there will be a conflict" to "when the conflict will happen after the election." November 4 is a key catalyst window. Also, crude oil can bypass the Red Sea, but Qatar's LNG can only go through Hormuz, making it irreplaceable. This structural vulnerability means oil prices are unlikely to truly plunge.
For crypto, the oil price drop can temporarily ease inflation expectations, but as long as this Middle East bomb isn't defused, macro pressures can return at any time.
BTC fell below 77,000 last night and is still hovering below. Let's see if it can climb back above 80,000. If it can't hold, expect a deeper correction, with resistance between 84,000 and 85,000 above. Don't chase the rise or kill the fall; set your stop-loss orders properly.
The above analysis is time-sensitive; orders must have stop-losses set. Good luck. $BTC $ETH $SOL
